These four moptops had the mannerisms as well as the voices of the original Beatles....most especially "John". When "Paul" sang his solos, it was as if you were back in time. The harmonies and out of this world visual effects...Lonely Hearts Club Band....were true entertainment. I would go again next year!! One negative....forget the closeup screens on them....up close you could see it wasn't the Beatles.... if it weren't for the closeups, you could really believe they WERE THE BEATLES!!!!

I was skeptical about going to this show, but I am absolutely pleased that I did. Although I am not from The Beatles era I am familiar and enjoyed myself very much. I would definitely recommend this show. The only disappointment was the length of the show. Way too short, 2 hrs is not enough, with the intermission it was more like 1/12 hrs.

The Beatles are a part of history, no doubt. And the cast of "Rain" brings that history to life, for both young and old. The sounds, mannerisms and costuming are all "on point." Sitting back and reliving those younger days made a hot day real "cool."

Really enjoyed the Rain tribute to the Beatles but just felt a little mislead. The Playbill page reads "Starring....... ", then lists the 4 guys who are from the original cast and pictured on all the signage outside. In reality, for an 8 PM on a Saturday night show there were four other guys performing as the Beatles. They were great and put on a terrific show but just wondered why such an effort is made to promote the other 4 guys when they don't even appear? Maybe it's like TranSiberian Orchestra or the Blue Man Group with multiple groups in different shows.

I felt like I was witnessing the Beatles Concert I never attended. I was 10 when they came to Milwaukee for $3 a ticket and had parents who would not take us. Now I was there. I have seen Paul in concert 3 times and felt like I was watching him live again. All did an excellent job bring the feeling of the Beatles to this 60's girl! Our seats to far left were supposed to have obstructed view but they were great seats

Being 13 when the Beatles made it big, they were a big part of my music during my teenage years! I still have their early 45's and LP's. This group of guys put on an amazing show full of energy and audience response! They totally captured the essence of "Beatlemania" and brought back lots of great memories! We made friends with the people around us and just had a great time. It's too bad the show has such a short run in Chicago!

Rain did the Beetles proud! They looked the part, sounded the part and did all the songs you expected and then some. The first set took you way back to the early days and included some great on-screen videos of days of old. The second set they came out in the iconic Sergeant Pepper Costumes and did many songs from that era. The third set was more of the war era and they costumed up and changed for that look as well. Just when you thought they were going to leave out one of my favorite songs...they closed with it...but I won't give it away. I was fortunate to be winterizing in Pompano Beach and got tickets for myself and 2 friends to see the first show of the tour at Pembroke Pines. They'll be coming to Schenectady March 2nd & 3rd and I'll be bringing my family.

Our 1st time at the new Pembroke Pines center and great event. We had the best seats in the house and Rain's performance was for the ages. All members of the band were flawless and would definitively go back to see them again. I would only recommend they drop some of the St Peppers' songs (mostly unknown) to bring major hits such as Michelle, Yellow Submarine, etc...back into the playlist.

Very good performance of the Beatles songs. For those of us who were around during Beatlemania, the multimedia presentation did a good job of setting the mood of the times when the songs were released. The couple that sat next to me claimed they were not Beatles fans and just came to photograph the theater. During the show, I heard them comment that they forgot all about many of these songs that they liked.

RAIN is by far, the best tribute band of the Beatles or any other tribute band for any group I have ever seen. The attention to details in the appearance, the attire, the mannerisms were phenomenal, and the 100% live music was perfect. This group takes the audience on an 8 year evolution of the most influential bands of all time by singing every Beatles era from "I Want To Hold Your Hand" through "Abbey Road" . The audience is brought to its collective feet several times during the performance, and I have never seen a more upbeat, happy and smiling audience in my life. This performance featured the "Sgt. Pepper's" album celebrating its 50th anniversary, and they sang the entire album. I cannot recommend this show any higher. 10 STARS!!!!

The boys were very good with wonderful vocal harmonies and precision duplication of the sound I grew up with. But there is a downside to the performance. Don't know if it was the theater or the boys that decided to blind the audience after each song by shining a battery of million watt spotlights on the audience to see if they were applauding. Another annoying thing was the very distracting, stage-wide screen behind them that featured a continuous stream of videos, including animations. Don't know if it's insecurity or narcissism. Either way, relying on videos or lighting diminished the experience. There were the three behemoths in front of me that kept recording the entire performance despite a theater ban on this activity. At one point, they were warned by an usher, but upon her leaving, continued. They talked continually bending their heads towards each other further blocking my view. Should be a way to screen out individuals like these.

If you love The Beatles and the 60's, you'll love RAIN! A step back to when Beatlemania all began. The musicians clinched each Beatle and their individuality. Loved the 60's pop art screens along with excerpts from different concerts such as Shea stadium. A chance to get happy and sing along with all those songs we know every single note and word. The change of outfits for the different albums were perfect.

I have no complaints about the music in "Rain,"-- everything sounded great. But the execution of the show was not my bag. Some audience members enjoy it when performers exhort them to stand up and clap and dance but that is not me (plus, the whole element of the cast pretending to be the Beatles yet frequently breaking the 4th wall was odd to me.) The video work also truly irked me. The audience camera was cheesy--like being at a baseball game, and the literalness of the videos was quite uncreative. There were diamonds for "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," parking meters for "Lovely Rita" and then actors portraying Desmond and Molly working at the marketplace for "Ob-La-Di." I also happened notice that every single actor/stock image used in the video work was white, which made me cringe as we were sitting behind some people of color and I couldn't help but wonder what they thought of it. If I could, I would have left during intermission.

A tour through the early songs from the band then onto the 2nd act which starts the Sgt. Pepper album and finishes with a few popular Abbey Road songs. Paul (who also is named Paul for the actual Paul McCartney he is imitating!!) was by far the standout performer, engaging, talented and enthusiastic. He stole the show for me. The drummer, I hate to say, looked like he didn't want to be there (maybe that's how Ringo performed). John was talented, however, he looked a little too old for the part and also a bit weary. Maybe because Paul was so into it, the others appears to phone it in. It must be hard finding look-a like performers that can cover this band. George was pretty close to George and actually probably a better singer. The musicians were outstanding and the voices great. The production value of the show was a bit sparse and really could have been done much better, also the wigs need a little work. But it really all comes down to the music which was a very, very good imitation of the original. Ended with an encore of Hey Jude.

I've long been a fan of the Beatles and even though I had an opportunity to see them in Chicago back in the 60;s I let that opportunity slip by...But luckily I never let an opportunity to see Rain slip by. Rain performs songs that I've never heard other Beatle cover bands perform. Not only is their sound spot on, but their performance in terms of banter, mannerisms and looks is perfect. I imagine that watching Rain is what it would have been like had I gone to see the Beatles back in 64....except with one difference. I actually can hear the music. So while I miss John and George, Rain brings them back along with Ringo and Paul. They also help me remember why the Beatles will always be my favorite band. For that 2 hour plus experience with Rain, I'm young again.

First of all, let me say that the musicians were AWESOME. I felt like I was really watching the Beatles - theses guys are top-notch. They get SIX stars!! My problem was that the ushers limited my ability to enjoy a concert-like experience. People tried to dance in the aisles - they were shooed back into their seats. The woman next to me tried to use a flashlight during one of the encore performance, she was tapped on her shoulder to turn it off. "No lights in the theatre allowed" the usher told her. A woman who had a little too much to drink spent her entire time with her hands in the air and was surprised that she wasn't kicked out with the number of times she was spoken to. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? I thought that this was supposed to be enjoyed like a regular concert, but I was too afraid to show it. I only give the three stars because whoever the promoters are picked the wrong place to have this. Next time, consider the Paramount, where they are much more focused on ensuring that the audience has a great time. Unless it's for classic theatre, do not go to shows at this place.

Rain: A Tribute To the Beatles was a wonderful performance, but my friend and I did NOT enjoy it because the sound was horribly loud and actually distorted. Let me be clear ... the performers were wonderful and I really believe my huge disappointment is with the theater, or the sound people. I had seen Jersey Boys at this same theater and almost identical seating a couple of years ago and the sound was perfect. In fact, I went twice! That was certainly NOT the case for RAIN's performance. It was so bad, that the couple sitting next to us actually left as soon as intermission came. They couldn't take it either. My friend asked to change her seat to the very back row because she couldn't take it. The music was so loud and distorted that it overpowered the voices. Now do you remember The Beatles sounding like that on the Ed Sullivan Show? I don't. I actually covered my ears. Loud is one thing ... distortion and ear piercing is another. This was such a dissapointment as it is not often that I can afford a trip into Chicago and the theater. When I do go, it is something very special to me and I pay for main floor Orchestra seating. I thought I had chosen well. Just left of center (on the end) about 10 rows back (not too close). I was so excited to have been able to get these seats ... as they are always what I attempt to obtain for other plays. As I said, Jersey Boys was perfect. So was Wicked (another theater, but similiar seating). If I could complain to someone I would, but what good would that do me now? ... so I vent here. I don't know why it was so bad for Sunday's matinee. It simply ruined it for me, my friend, and obviously other people. No one I saw appeared to be happy and upbeat as we left the theater. I will not place blame on the performers, but something went terribly wrong Sunday, May 24th, at 2:00pm at the Bank of America Theater!

I absolutely loved Rain!! The music was fantastic and we couldn't help singing along!! In fact, singing alone was encouraged at various points! The costumes were phenomenal!! It was like seeing, The Beatles, several times throughout their careers! Loved it!! Just wish it was here longer so I could take my mom and grandson!

Anyone of a certain age, growing up or coming of age with the Beatles music will enjoy Rain. It's a wonderful tribute to the Fab Four complete with costumes and vintage videos from back in the day. If you're not on your feet clapping and singing along it would be surprising.

My husband and I attended Rain in Chicago.!the band is spot on. Incredibly talented group of guys who are not only great singers but excellent musicians. They have it down pat. Every song takes you back and you just think they ARE the Beatlea. Reliving that era was so fun!! For anyone who loves the Beatles it's well worth it

This show was incredible even if you are just a passing Beatles fan. The choreography was perfect. Every move was timed perfectly with the footage of the real Beatles on the backdrop screen. All the way down to insignificant head movements. Honestly, you thought you were watching and hearing the real thing. Absolutely could not have been better.

We saw the May 21 show at Bank of America Theater from the balcony and were very impressed with the view and the acoustics from there! However, we a bit disappointed with the mix of songs and would have liked to hear a bigger set from the earliest years. I thought it was too top-heavy on the psychedelic years. That is our only negative take-away. Otherwise, would highly recommend; a full 2 hours of pure entertainment for those who miss the Beatles.
