Animaniacs Live!

Ever since I was in elementary school, I have loved Animaniacs. It has always been one of my favorite cartoons of all time. So imagine how excited I was when I found out they were doing a tour and were hosting a show not far from me! I enjoyed hearing the familiar songs from the show, how interactive it was (we had to yell "Hello, Nurse!" at the end of every part of the song of the same name, and we got to sing along with the theme song to the show) and hearing stories about how the show and the various songs for it were created (my favorite had to be how Yakko's World got Randy Rogel a job writing songs on the show). I was surprised that they also sang songs from Histeria!, another show that I like, at the end of the show. If you're a fan of Animaniacs, go see this if it comes to your town. It will make you appreciate the show in a whole new way and it's a totally cool experience to be part of!

Only one voice of the Animaniacs was part of this show. It was just a 2 person show with Rob Paulson and one of the song writers. No Wacko or Dot. Was nice to hear some songs that didn't make it on air and a couple of stories though but overall not worth the price.

So. Much. Fun. Hearing the stories behind the songs, and having them performed live, was a blast, and the Q&A at the end was very interesting and funny. The highlight, of course, was an entire auditorium singing along to the Animaniacs theme.

Entertaining, enlightening, trip down memory lane well worth it!
