I was very surprised that there were so few people attending this event! As a result though, it was very up-close and personal, very intimate. I have been a huge fan of Ed Kowalczyk since the early 90's. Seeing him in this venue, with such few people was a dream come true. Following the show, all three of the performers signed autographs and took photos with the fans. Ed, in particular, spent about 10 minutes just talking to me - unbelievable. Art and Leigh did an exceptional job as well, but I was really there for Ed. :)

Saw Open Wings Broken Strings in Orlando last month and had a really awesome time. Ed Kowalczyk's set was the highlight of the night along with the encore when all three artists performed together. If this show comes to your area, I highly suggest you attend.

I missed this tour when it travelled to Long Island; I made a point of attending while I was in Florida. The Florida Theater was a 20's era performance hall w/ a vibe similar to the Beacon Theater in NYC. The show was very sparsely attended (perhaps 150 people). It was an all acoustic event. In my view, the highlight of the event was Leigh Nash who sounded wonderful, and was funny, self-depricating and very winsome. Alex Aleakis of Everclear was also funny and good, although I was unfamiliar with the Everclear material, I was entertained. Eddie Kowalcyyk was a disappointment. I think the career downsizing post the 'Live' era may have been a factor, Also, the songs sounded dated, and stripped of electic guitars and bombast, sounded overly simplistic. Why is it that others from the same era (e.g. Eddie Vedder and Adam Durst) still sound revelant - I think it is the quality of the song.

I live in Panama City Beach, Florida. Jacksonville is almost 5 hours away. The opportunity to see Art Alexakis perform a live acoustic set is well worth a drive twice as long. He has been my favorite recording artist for almost two decades now. Mr. Alexakis showed again why he is the greatest singer/songwriter of my generation. Not only was his performance riveting, his banter with the audience between songs was just as entertaining. In addition, Leigh Nash and Eddie Kowalczyk also threw down incredible sets of their own. Their performances alone would have merited the drive. I cannot recommend this tour enough. If you are looking for an entertaining evening of music, this acoustic-based, up close and personal show will be very difficult to beat..

All three performers were great! Each played an accoustic set of popular songs from their bands. Eddie played some new songs from an upcoming solo album. The only draw back was that they did not sign autographs after this show (I was told they did after the show in Atlanta).

The music was fantastic. Each artist played exactly what we wanted to hear, plus great music we didn't expect. Plus, they shared stories and banter. "What did you think? You'd pay money and I wouldn't deliver?" Oh yes, you delivered!

Guess I'm not sensitive enough to enjoy the acoustic version of sixpence none the richer. However, I couldn't stop laughing.

Great venue; not a bad seat in the place. Glad that they covered old songs but mixed it up with new music.
