This was a great show. A few rain delays and it got cut short due to a storm but none the less it was awesome. This is a really nice venue with the two stage setup. I didn't like that you couldn't get back to the second stage until after the first stage performers were done though. Can't wait to go back to The Woods at Fontanel for another show.

Great show, and was a blast. Unfortunely the weather caused some issue and ended the show early, even though this was a rain or shine event. This was the only draw back about this show. Lost half an hour of preformance time due to weather.

What a great day! Ending with Josh Thompson, Rodney Atkins, and Gary Allan! Was a great concert. My man, Gary Allan, performed all my favorites plus some! Loved it and will definitely look into next years Country Throw Down there!

it was actually my daughter and her boyfriend that went to the show. They definately enjoyed the show. Florida Georgia Line was their favorite act. They were disappointed in Sunny Sweeney and said that she was very "snobby".

The actual show was great, Gary Allan was awesome as usual, Justin Moore was fantastic, and Josh Thompson was great. The drunks really ruined the event for me. I personally don't understand why people feel they have to get so drunk they are out of control and won't remember how obnoxious they were. People were walking around with two large cups of beer, bouncing off seats and people, sloshing their beer on other people. There was no checking of tickets so people with lawn seats were moving into seats in the front. It was chaos. I took my 11 year old to the show the night before at the Meadowbrook in NH; if I had taken him to the show in Bangor we would have had to leave, there is no way I could have subjected him to what was going on. It could be a great venue with less alcohol consumption, and some seating control.

Rodney Atkins was great. GARY was AMAZING! A little disapointed that he did not play a new song or two, but I still LOVE hearing the older stuff. He played a good mix of songs that don't get concert time...usually. Loved the suit too!!! Completely enjoyed the show even though it was not even 60 and it rained most of the day.

I think it's wonderful that this tour is bringing some of the best that Nashville has to offer to towns & cities across the USA. I loved the festival atmosphere this tour had too! I went with 2 others and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Gary Allan, Rodney Adkins, & Josh Thompson were great! Some of the "up & coming" artists put on a good show. The artists who played in between sets with only accoustic guitar left me bored. All their music was too low key & ended up being white noise to me, good time to get refreshments. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but if it's not entertaining... Overall I would still pay to see the show again!

Gary is at his best. He is a singer/song writer that gets better with each album. I hope to be seeing him for years to come.

RAINY, WET, FREEZING, Thunder and lightening and we had lawn seats...however...the show was great...a little drawn out with no name talent given the weather and the tickets could have said show started at 5...and not doors open at 3...to avoid an extra 2 hrs out in the rain...BUT again Rodney Atkins and Garry Allen put on a great show!

Gary Allan is a great artist but he didn't do his normal FULL show. I respect his band but my favorite part of his show is just Gary & his guitar. He also didn't do any new material or covers. I would have went again on June 20th if Gary got to do his full show.

No one knew who was playing in what stage and when. Let alone that there where two stages that people where playing on. The advertising for this event was VERY misleading. And I was disappointed. I also felt like Gary Allen rushed through his set.

This was a really good concert. The venue was perfect and the entertainment was solid. In particular the Maggie Rose Band was unbelievable. They need to put that girl and her partners on the main stage. Momma s Daughter will be a hit and the rest will be in the jetstream. I will go back to this place for another show!

DId not like the entire set up with multiple stages. Put all on one stage. Issues with sound when Gary was ready to come on. Caused it to be a much later concert. Was by no means a sold out venue. Only 50% maybe at best. Would not go back again. Prefer other venues for concerts

We really enjoyed the entire day! It was nice as everything seemed to flow well. Really enjoyed opportunity to meet the newer artists and get autographs. We were told there was not to be smoking, but people by us were smoking. Event Staff didn't seem to want to do anything about it.

It was the most disorganized event I have ever attended. The tickets said 3:00, so we left home early in the morning and thought we would be home at a decent time. The main event did not start until 7:30. No program available. You had to ask someone what was going on and you would get a different answer everytime. People who paid general admission were allowed to stand in front of people who had paid for VIP Party. The program was shortened due to weather approaching. We went to see Gary Allan last year at Hoosier Park and it was great. This was a disaster and a total waste of money.

The Country Throwdown Tour is wonderful especially for those that cannot afford to go to Nashville, TN, for the CMA Fest. This tour is like a mini fest. The performers are excellent. The artists on the National Guard stage are great up and comers in their career, and it is a great premise to see them on this stage. I love the Bluebird cafe stage because those that have never been to the bluebird itself get a taste of what it would be like to go there. I enjoyed hearing the songs by Rose Falcon and Channing Wilson especially. Plus it was nice that they got to perform again in between acts while the stage hands were changing the stage for the next act. The only complaint I would have, and it is very minor would be that I thought Josh Thompson's sound was a little too loud. You could feel the drum beat on your chest, and I do not like that feeling. Rodney Atkins was the absolute best! The audience loved him, and so did I! He is an awesome performance. Rodney did one thing that was really considerate, he made sure when someone from the audience came up to take their picture by the stage that he got behind them, so he was part of their picture. The only other performer I have ever seen do that is Alan Jackson. And I have been to just about every country artists concert there has ever been, so I know it is very rare for a performer to do that, and Rodney did that throughout his whole concert. Thank you, Rodney, for that. That makes those pictures mean so much more to them! Gary Allan, what can you say? He is just the greatest. He came on while it was still raining, but was a trooper, and kept going. I know he did all of his hits first and quickly just in case he did have to quit because of the rain, but thankfully the rain finally went away, and he was able to do his whole show. Gary is a great singer, and a great performer. He makes what he does look so easy and natural, but not all of us can do what he does. He keeps it country for one thing, not rock and roll, which I really appreciate. I do not mind the country rocking, but I do not like LOUD, country rocking. LOUDER IS NOT BETTER! Wish more "country" artists would realize that to get the audience's attention you do not have to play LOUD! Just asked George Strait, Alan Jackson, or Reba! They know their music does not have to deafen you. If you have the talent, you don't have to resort to that. The country throwdown is a great concept, and I hope it is continued for a long, long time I plan on going to see it at least 2 more times!

Well we drove 3 and 1/2 hours from atlanta got a hotel room etc. just to see Gary and when he came out we were so happy a lady told us they would postpone the show up to two hours if there was lightning and about 5 or so songs into the show there was lightning so instead of postponing he just called the show and left we couldn't believe we came all that way and spent a good bit of money for it to be cancelled not far into the show. Gary usually plays for a good 2 hours so we were just disappointed and sad that he wasn't out long. Very eventful night for us we were soaked and covered in mud all for the show to get called. OH well :(

I had a fantastic time! I really like Gary Allan, and I enjoyed hearing the other bands too. The venue (Woods at Fontanel) is very nice. The only downside of the evening was the weather (lightening caused the show to have to stop early), but only God controls the weather. I had an awesome time and would definitely go again. :)

I got the tickets to see Gary Allen but he was actually my least favorite part of the concert. It really seemed like he didn't want to be there. Or maybe it was just because Rodney Adkins did such an awesome job that it was hard to live up to that. Compared to him he seemed boring. It was more like he was just singing the song the really performing them. I was really disappointed, as I had wanted to see him for so long. I have been to many concerts and I think its my least favorite.

Had a great time. Wish Gary Allan came on a little earlier but other than that it was a good time. The beer and water should have been a tad cheaper. $11.00 for a Modelo was crazy. $4.00 for a bottle of water on such a hot day also crazy.

Although it was a long day with the drive from Cleveland, the concert was totally worth it. Gary Allan's passion for singing it evident with his heartfelt performance. Between his emotional songs and crooning voice, I almost constantly had goosebumps. I was lucky enough to meet Gary before he went onstage at the meet and greet. We got there around 7:30. We had to drive in from Buffalo, NY. Josh Thompson was on stage and he was very enjoyable and very personal with the crowd. Next was Rodney Atkins who was out-of-this-world. He worked the crowd very well and even brought a little boy up on stage. He had him sing a bit with him and then gave him a microphone stand with no microphone. It just so happens, I'm friends on FB with his mother and she told me that they will buy a microphone and that the little boy slept with the stand. Then the headliner came on. Gary Allan was the reason I drove the 5 hrs. I've been a fan since 1999 and have all his CD"s. I just feel as though he is very under-rated in the country music business but has quite a following. He came out and sang"Watching Airplanes" and then proceeded to sing song after song with stopping to talk to the crowd. He may have said 10 words the whole evening. I know that that was stop 4/5 and he may have been tired. Sang all of his hits and the crowd sang to to each song. I wanted to hear some new music from his up-coming CD but we didn't hear any. All in all, he was great to listen to, look at but threw all the guitar picks to one side and most of the crowd never had a chance to get one. He has always been my fav country singer and when we left, my friend and I were surprised at how few people were there. It was at a baseball field so it was very casual. People were tail-gating in the parking lot and because we got there late, we had to park by the buses which was not a bad thing. We had a blast and would go again. Maybe next time replace Josh Thompson with someone else. Gary Allan, like I said, sang good and looked great.
