Jason Castro was at BB King's Bar and Grill on 11/9/10 to celebrate the launch of his "Who I am" CD. His music is great on the April CD release of "Jason Castro" and on this new release "Who I AM". But live, well it is always amazing. It is the vocals, the passion, the personality. He's not trying to be someone he's not. It makes the title of the new CD very appropriate. The 16 song set flew by. I sat with some "just dropped in" types and they really enjoyed it much more than they thought they would. It was a treat to hear him do a Bob Marley tune "Redemption Song" which he'd done the night before with and at the request of Youssou NDour at the Malaria No More event. It was the highlight for me. It was unexpected and just so well done. Anyways, check out his new CD on ITunes or Amazon.com. Very promising career ahead of him. Not the typical same old sound alike top 40 dance music. Have fun listening!

I give these two artists 5 stars. They opened up to us through their music in an incredible way!!! Both artists even took the time to meet with their fans to talk, sign autographs, and take pictures.

I was blown away by the show. I have been a Jason fan from day 1, but was never able to hear him perform live. The experience is one that is difficult to put into words. It goes beyond music, sound, and artistry and reaches another level like no other performer I have ever heard. There is something more there. It was such a moving show. The love, harmony, peace, and support in the room was contagious that I'm positive everyone there was touched in the same way. He lights up the room with his presence and puts a smile on everyone's face. Jason is what the WORLD needs NOW!!!!! God bless him. My prayers are with him always.
