Had an awesome time at this show. It wasn't crowded and there was enough room to move around. The smaller bands that lead up to the main bands were ok. The best performances were definitely by Underoath and AILD. Will go watch them again if they ever came back to this venue. :))

Second time Ive been to this Venue and it was even better than last time. War of Ages opened up with a great show, then Cancer Bats were up next. They're cover of Beastie Boys Sabotage was awesome. Next up was Architects who didn't impress me much. Then Acacia Strain got the night cheered up even more with some dialogue about finding your own happiness and not to be told how to live your life or what to believe in. Then Blessthefall (one of my favorites here) ripped the set up with their act. At this point i had to seek water cause of all the heat from going all out in the pit. Then Between the Buried and Me played but I was still trying to cool down, impressive show nonetheless. Next up was Underoath who after just losing Aaron Gillespie amazed me with there performance. Always great to see a band overcome something like that. Last Up was As I Lay Dying who once again did an awesome job ( 2nd time ive seen them and it was even better in this smaller venue) . Met some amazing people in the crowd as well as band members. Thanks Blessthefall for signing my poster!! Overall one of the best concerts Ive been to this year.

I specifically went to this concert to see As I Lay Dying (they were brutal) but was not disappointed with any of the line-up. Between the Buried and Me was impressive as hell and I was stunned at just how talented The Acacia Strain is. I had never heard of War of Ages or the Architects but will be following them to see how their careers progress. Blessthefall and Underoath were as good as advertised. What wasn't lost on me during the Cool Tour 2010 was the fact I wasn't outside roasting in the sun but rather comfortable in an extremely well air conditioned venue. The concert was everything it promised to be and more.

My only complaint is that I don't think As I Lay Dying should've headlined it. Underoath put on a far better show, even with their new drummer. It was my first time seeing Acacia Strain and BTBAM. AS was angry but fun like expected. BTBAM was amazing. I think their set was the best mixed, as it sounded the best. Such a great tour overall. I wish I could see the tour again

Very rarely do you see a combination of such talented bands on any tour. As I Lay Dying, Underoath, Between the Buried and Me all could headline their own tours with several well established bands. To have them all share one stage is just awesome. I'm a big fan of all 3 bands (as well as Blessthefall and War of Ages), but Underoath is my favorite band of all time. Underoath played a new track of their upcoming record and it was epic, and very heavy. I can't wait until it drops. The set times started out at about 20 minutes, by BTBAM it got to about 40-45. Of course that meant BTBAM could only play 4 songs but they made it count. As I Lay Dying closed but with no encore, strangely enough. Overall I would say if this tour is coming to your town or even remotely close, go see it. I drove over 3 hours to see it and was not at all disappointed.

The LC was a great venue to have a show like this! However, the acoustics in the main room were very poor and much of the sound quality was lost. Whoever was operating the sound board must've not been paying attention most of the time. I couldn't hear the singer during Bless the Fall and the bass drum was so loud that it drowned out the rest of the drums for every band that played. During the headlining act, which should be the main attraction, the drums were so loud that I couldn't hear the guitars at all. I left early because there was almost no point in listening.

This show was by far one of the best I've seen in a long time. War of Ages, Underoath, and BTBAM all gave phenomenal performances, but the most extraordinary was As I Lay Dying; they gave a breathtaking show. I was a little bummed it wasn't outside as originally planned though.

I went to this show because I am a huge Underoath fan. However, Underoath wasn't the headliner, As I Lay Dying was. I can understand that this is primarily a super-hardcore tour, hence why AILD was the headliner (even though Underoath is more popular.) But I expected a little longer set out of Underoath. They only played about 8 songs and given the nature of the other bands, they primarily played their harder songs. But they did sound great. And I've never even heard a song from AILD and they put on a great show. Tons of energy, loud breakdowns, and a ridiculous drum solo for a good 3 minutes. Very good show.

I was highly dissapointed in the set list, as well as how long AILD played for. I felt like they missed a lot of good songs, and next time they should come by themselves so we can hear more of them and a little less Underoath; who could of atleast played A Boy Brushed Red...

We got to the House of Blues at 1:30 to eat lunch and participate in Pass The Line. We were the 5th and 6th in line. We got in and parked our butts on a bar stool and sat for the entire concert from 4:30 to 10:30pm. It was an awesome experience and we really enjoyed Underoath, Between The Buried and Me, War of Ages and of course As I Lay Dying! It was an awesome experience and we treated it like and "inside" Ozfest!

The Cool Tour was guaranteed to blow me away with the sheer quality in the lineup from Between the Buried and Me to As I Lay Dying. If you can take it fast, loud, heavy and brutal for 6+ hours then this is your tour. I was especially impressed by the quick turnaround time between acts, where you will often wait for 20 minutes or more between bands at any other show, the stage crew had the next set up and running within 5-10 minutes. As far as the bands themselves... -War of Ages opened and I was really looking forward to seeing them live for the first time. While they did get the crowd going and have serious talent, I was disappointed by the lack of sound quality during their set. The guitar parts were impossible to hear and the vocals were distorted or quiet most of the time. Still they started the pit and brought a lot of energy from the onset of the show. -Cancer Bats were the low moment in the show, most of the crowd sat this one out. Canadian old school hardcore punk. Not impressed. -The Acacia Strain were hands down the heaviest and most brutal set of the night, bringing out very deep low bass hits and chug chug chug guitar parts. The mosh pit took a serious turn when the vocalist announced "If you are full of anger and aggression now is your chance" this was the first point of the night when I jumped in and started swinging. -Architects: British hardcore/metal a la Bring Me the Horizon. Decent set with melodic and chaotic mixtures but nothing really impressive to look back on compared to the other acts on this tour. -blessthefall: my concert mate described them as a boy band gone hardcore. I am convinced that this one band pulled in the large number of high schoolers and high school girls in particular who came out to this show. The screams were a bit whiny and no band members seemed to be over 18. Not to my liking but I have to admit the crowd seemed to enjoy it. -Between the Buried and Me: These prog metal juggernauts would only truly be justified by playing their newest album straight through. Still with a setlist that included tracks off 4 different records, they showed how their diverse sound is still as heavy and popular as ever. Very impressive set by BTBAM. -Underoath: Their first tour without drummer Aaron Gillespie seemed to go almost perfect... except for those clean vocals of his which are now missing. While the new drummer has plenty of talent on the kit, they are now missing the singing parts that have defined Underoath for some time. As far as the rest of the set, I was quite impressed with Spencer's vocals and the intensity coming from the stage. I am not much of an underoath fan but I have to say they put on a good show. -As I Lay Dying: no doubt the highlight of the night. From Tim's commanding roar on the mic to Jordan's machine gun double bass, AILD never lets down each time I see them. Their set was heavy, fast and solid from the moment they took the stage with 94 Hours til they ended with Confined. A staggering drum solo really captured that raw energy AILD brings to the stage each and every night. They never disappoint.

Cool tour 2010 was unbelievable. The concert was more expensive then most shows and was apparent when I showed up and hour before doors and there was hardly a line. With the show starting off with War of Ages (a band i personally like) and they played great! Not many people were down in the pit for them though. Next was Cancer Bats, a band I had never heard of. And other than a Beastie Boys cover, they were kinda bland. Architects were 3rd and were pretty good. (I hadn't listened to them in a while and they surprised me). This is when Acacia Strain should have played but due to Disney having some pretty lame rules/guidlines, they were not allowed to perform due to being "too heavy". Not sure what was up with that..... This was followed by the AMAZING performances by blessthefall, BTBAM, Underoath, and As I Lay Dying. The pit was so packed for these 4 bands swear it was a fire hazard.... Overall: One of the best shows I've been too.

It was the first show from the tour held in Florida at the House Of Blues. The venue itself was awesome, spacious enough with a cool ambient. All the bands performed great. It was like if you were listening to the cd's right then and there. The choice of songs played were awesome! All the bands played a right amount of old songs plus newer songs and Underoath even played one song from their upcoming album that will be out in October 2010. By far Between the Buried And Me has been one of the most amazing bands Ive seen live.

All the bands were awesome. Even the smaller bands were really good, Cancer Bats was really good, but people didn't really mosh to them since they're not really well known. War of Ages was an awesome opener. BTBAM and Underoath did not let down. Of course As I Lay Dying was sick, that really didn't need to be said. I can say if you like any of these bands, go to this Festival, you will not be let down. The House of Blues was an amazing host as well. Will see future events there.

Short and sweet...... The Palladium is an amazing venue... loved everything about it!! As for the bands.... As I Lay Dying, Underoath, BTBAM, Bless The Fall, and War of Ages were amazing as always......the other three bands DID NOT deserve to share the stage with the other guys..... it was kind of pathetic. War of Ages should not have been the opener band...they deserve more than that and everyone knew it! Also the time the bands had for sets were REALLY short. AILD only played 6-7 songs which sucked. I think they should cut the number of bands and increase the set time for each band. Other than those things it was an awesome show that i would see again in a heartbeat.

This was my birthday present to myself and probably the best gift I've ever given myself. War of Ages was a great opener! Waited years to see them and they didn't disappoint. Cancer Bats were interesting, enjoyed their Beastie Boys Cover Architects seemed a little out of place on this tour. The crowd wasn't very receptive and it was apparent through their attitude towards the crowd. The Acacia Strain were amazing! Blessthefall put on one heck of show and really got the crowd involved. BTBAM was the second best band that evening in my opinion. Simply amazing musicianship and presence. Underoath sound was way too loud! That's my only dislike about their set. Otherwise great performance. As I Lay Dying was the headliner and for good reason! Certainly worth waiting for and put on the most amazing shows. The crowd was awesome, the band put on one hell of a performance and never disappoint.

The openers were quite bad (and overly loud, even for a metal show) and the headliner (As I Lay Dying) only had an hour to play. That said, their setlist was quite good and, after the first couple of songs, their levels were spot on.

The Cool Tour was, overall, a great show. However, there was one incredibly annoying thing: 1) The Acacia Strain is officially an absurd band. They ended their set early after alleging a quarter had been thrown onto the stage during their set. Now, I agree that throwing stuff at a band is not something any decent person would do, but, the Acacia Strain's vulgarity-filled threats to the crowd and early departure were incredibly unprofessional and immature. This caused the rest of the bands' set times to get skewed a bit. Basically, they damaged the concert for their fellow bands. Other than that, the bands sounded great. BlesstheFall, Underoath, BTBAM, and AILD all put on great shows and sounded fantastic live.

Two headliner bands are Christian Rock bands. I understand the venue of wanting to have "secular" bands there to attrack non-believers to the concert. But, there is a big difference between secular lyrics and evil lyrics. The other bands had lyrics that used the "F" word practically nonstop and used the "F" word with the name of Jesus. Breaking one of the 10 commandments. My teenage son enjoyed the bands that he went to see; but was offended by the repulsive lyrics and pure hatred of the bands for our Lord and Savior.

I went in knowing it was going to be an awesome tour, but I had no idea it was going to be as good as it was. Every single band KILLED THE FLOOR except one (Cancer Bats). Definitely one of the best shows I've ever been to and WELL worth the money. My favorite set was As I Lay Dying but The Acacia Strain definitely takes a close second place. I was so pissed when they had to stop the show because of some idiot. I was surpised because I wasn't expecting much out of Blessthefall, but even they put on an awesome show and kept the set fun. Overall incredible show and incredible tour. Can't wait for next year!

As I Lay Dying was incredible. By far the best band at the show. Their intensity along with killer tracks made for a memorable concert. Blessthefall did the best job with the crowd and trying to involve everyone. Aracacian Strain was terrible. Their music was mediocre and ended getting booed off stage for throwing a hissy fit after someone threw something at the lead singer. Cancer Bats and Architect were good and BTBAM was very diverse in their music and had the most technical music of the night. All in all a great show!

I've been to concerts before, but they were a different type of concert. I've been an underoath fan basically since they started, but never had permission from my parents to see them. I had permission last night! The opening bands were pretty good, and Architects really stood out for me. I'll definitely be buying their CD. The Acacia Strain lead singer was a little over dramatic at the end of their set; which was ridiculous, but the night didn't disappoint after that. The music got better and better. When it was underoath's time, I ran as close as I could get to the stage. Just so you know, I'm a girl and I luckily came with three guys and two were gracious enough to keep me from slipping into the mosh pit. I've never had so much fun in my life. Enjoying my favorite band with a bunch of other people is how it should be done no matter what type of music it is. Loved the concert and can't wait to attend more!

Tons of bands all with something to say. Highlights: Bless The Fall I had only seen their name but now I know their music. My team member and I were floored by the bass guitar thud in the last track (great new band). Seeing Between The Buried And Me play all those loooong songs without a hitch was really cool. Underoath - don't mind telling I was not a fan before, but now I am totally floored by the delivery of their music, I'm a fan now. As I Lay Dying - well let's put it this way, total heaviness, total fun, and total music appreciation.

The first performance was was followed by great performances by Cancer Bats, Architects, and Bless the Fall (who's singer and guitarist i got the personally meet after the show). then i was blow away by incredible performances by Between the Buried and Me, Underoath and As I Lay Dying (who played not one encore song, but 2).

Their were only 2 bands I didn't like that was bless the fall and underoath. Underoath was awsome when they still had dallas as lead singer now they are peathic they sounded asif they didn't even pratic before the tour cause their were not even close to being tight. As for blessthefall they need a singer who can sing cause the one they got sounds more like a girl than a man. They need more screaming then singing parts too. the rest of the bands were killer I just wish war of ages would have had a longer set.

Would have been enjoyable except for the horrific language that was used by the first couple of bands..........almost left the venue because of it. I just don't appreciate hearing the "F" word over and over. I thought the headliners for the cool tour were Christians bands so I assumed that the backup bands would have had a little more class.

The show was great! the first few bands could of work a little bit harder to get people into it more. but overall i say it was a great show it couldn't of been any better.

When did this trend start where concerts have every band under the sun play before the main act? There were a total of 8 bands at this show. Personally, I don't want to listen to a half-dozen crappy bands just to get to the one or two I paid to see. When I found out that AILD wasn't taking the stage until 9:45 pm, I left and went to a move and then came back at 9:00. Because of the over-booking, AILD only played for about 50 minutes. I think that was a bit of a rip-off. Sure, they were great when they played but I, personally, was disappointed. It would have been a much better show if it was just Underoath and AILD.
