I've seen both tribute bands, Rio and Blasphemous Rumours, over 20 times each. I think they're both incredible bands. They're professional, sound great, look amazing (okay, they're smokin' HOT), and really seem to pay careful attention to detail, but at the same time, they don't take themselves too seriously. Their set lists will satisfy the most hard-core Duran Duran/Depeche Mode fan. Their performances should make even a mediocre 80s fan want more. Loved the jokes and the British accents - nice touch. I'm looking forward to seeing Rio, Blasphemous Rumours, and Curse (Cure tribute) on Halloween at the Grove of Anaheim. Should be THE Halloween show to attend. Can't wait!!!!!

Firstly, Rio were an awesome opening act. The lead singer energetically executes the songs with Simon LeBon's uncanny energy. Those baselines are brilliant and well played. Then Blasphemous Rumours. 1st saw them in 2008 and just get better and better. The lead singer has the same amazing rich tone as earlier period Dave Gahan, performing some of the same famous moves. And for the Martin Gore guy, I had to pinch myself, I thought it was the real deal. Maybe he came incognito to help out. Who care, he was brilliant too. And Fletch in his early era Just Cant Gwet Enough "village people" black leather hat was fun and energetic to watch. Both bands are a must see. You really get to experience Depeche Mode live...and in my opinion, they sound better than current Depeche Mode live, executing the 80's era DM style to perfection.

I had an awesome time singing and dancing to my favorite Depeche Mode tunes. All 3 musicians were entertaining and on point especially the vocals of "Martin Gore". One thing that I scratched my head about is why they didn't play "Blasphemous Rumors". It happens to be the very first DM song I ever heard in the mid 80's. Other than that , I enjoyed every minute! Cheers Guys! Well done!!

First time seeing all these groups. Ok really went for only Maladjusted but ended up loving The Curse & Blasphemous Rumours. Only negative would be is that would've loved a longer set from Maladjusted other then that we had a blast.

What the hell just happened at the House of Blues Vegas?? I am the most skeptical person in the world and when I heard there was a tribute band to Depeche Mode coming to Vegas I almost laughed, but still had to see them. Long story short, Blasphemous Rumours hit the stage and was still apprehensive with my arms crossed. Not sure of the singers name but he came out with such confidence! His voice was spot on for the first song and thinking how can he keep this up. Song after song he nailed Gahans voice like I was listening to the album. Not only that he was quite humourous between songs and kept the audience waiting on every word. Damn I was also blown away by the rest of the band who played the songs as if it came right of the album as well! I was getting goosebumps. I have seen Depeche Mode almost every year since 1981 and have to say that this tribute show held up to most of the real modes concerts. I am now a fan and would tell anyone out there to see Blasphemous Rumours live. They turned a hard core skeptic into a believer! Well done!!

There is no better way to travel back in time, to hear Dave Gahan's amazing baritone voice surrounded by the magical compositions of Martin Gore and executed with captivating musical landscapes of synth and guitar that we all have come to love. Blasphemous Rumours sound just like Depeche in the 80's and 90's. Their sound is like it did on the albums (since they dont use a drummer to muddy it up) with amazing live and charismatic performance by the bands lead singer.

It was my first time seeing the Duran Duran band. I thought they did a terrific job. The singer really looks like Simon Lebon a little. Great to hear all those songs too. I have seen Blasphemous Rumors twice before a few years ago and I have to say that they we somewhat disappointing this time. I understand that the fellas who actually played the instruments are gone and that it's mostly karaoke tracks now, and that may explain the sterile vibe they had. The singer seemed to be a bit heavier and it showed in his energy. Not sure what was going on with that clothing choice either? But they are tribute bands and you expect them to be a bit hammy I guess. There seemed to be about 3 times as many people the last few times I seen them too. It wasn't that bad, just not as good as they used to be. All in all it was still definitely worth the free ticket.

Blasphemous Rumours sounded just like the real deal. Was a little disappointed that the actual music was synthesizer with some actual instrument play. But the lead singer sounded like the real dude. Rio was good too, but the mic sounded a bit muffled and he didn't sound too clear. Otherwise, good too.

It was awesome seeing Andy "David's Gone" Singer with two new members and Blasphemous Rumours back. I love the energy and the guys really have the music down. A slight break in tradition with dress for the opening for something special in regards to the new "Fletcher", but back out after a Gore fronted song in something more traditional. An excellent selection of DM music from all eras. I wish I could make the Anaheim show Monday. Blasphemous Rumours and Rio are well worth seeing. These Tributes are a credit to the originals.

Ok this is my subjective thoughts for Blasphemous Rumours. I have seen them for a few years. I know recently they had some new bandmates come in and there is another Dm tribute formed. One BR gives one of the most entertaining shows of any concert I have been to..The lead singer who portrays Dave Gahan my hero btw Captures Daves voice better than anyone else!! Although his cloths choices arent the best he outshines that with his personality, charisma and energy!! Now Dave Gahan is not the funniest man on stage, but Andy puts a little humor in his act and I love it! Obviously he doesn't take it so serious and he shouldn't. It's about entertaining the crowd. I am also really happy with the new guys. The new Martin actually does a great job but could use a new wig :) The other guy who does Wilder or Fletch also is quite a keyboardist and has tons of energy. Over all.....This show is a must!!!!! You are missing out on one talented band who know how to keep your attention for almost 2 hours!!!!!
