This was one of the most memorable shows I've experienced in my life. The energy Babymetal brought to the show was something unimaginable!! Their introduction to the show was phenomenal, the music quality was perfect, all the fans were kind and funny.. so many unique people. I would go see them live again if I ever got the chance.

Venue terrible. Band great. Ticket tax inc. $200+ for vip/ga. Only benefit was getting in before others who played around $30.

Babymetal Performance was at best as always. The set list was a little too short. Many good songs that should have been played didn t get to play.Maybe due to Yui wasn t there. Show started a little late and VIP is not worth it. Regular GA ticket ppl can still get front roll for the lover price. Just need a thick skin. And the gifts with the VIP could have been better. I think Euro tour would be a lot better than US.

One thing is clear these girls completely controlled and owned the stage and the crowd was hypnotized. The lead singer can sing! She was a boss! There were so many unique things about this concert that I truly don't even know where to start. The band was amazing and very skilled. I knew this was going to be different but I was amazed at how I felt after the concert, the girls while singing constantly engage the crowd with smiles and happiness and I realized that the crowd was also picking this up. In the end almost every one was smiling even while moshing I mean it was almost something religious in the way this spread. I've been to my fare share of concerts in my life and I have never seen anything like this. Go to a baby metal show you will never regret it.

Got to watch Babymetal at the Fonda theater in Los Angeles and this group knows how to put on a great show! The girls themselves bring out great energy to the audience with Su's vocals making you go "Whoa!" while Moa and Yui making awesome dance moves and chorus lines that make you want to sing along! I love that the backing band is free to improvise in the songs and even have their own solo sessions as a metal show should! 10/10 would watch again!

The Kami Band was rocking, the girls were putting on a great show, and the crowd was all-in for the ride of their lives! I cannot truly do justice to just how much fun this concert was and this is coming from a 40 y/o, old-school MetalHead! BABYMETAL rocks and you will be hooked once you see them live, if their online videos/music hasn't hooked you before then! The power of Su-Metal's voice combined with the Kawaiiness of Moa-Metal and Yui-Metal combine perfectly with the honest-to-god, bone-crunching, ear-shredding, heavy metal stylings of the Kami band! Most fun I've ever had at a heavy metal concert, and they just keep getting better and better! Hope to catch them on their 2015 World Tour, so until then, Kitsune Up! And as they say, We Are BABYMETAL!

The venue and staff at The Tabernacle were great. Great acoustics. The show itself was incredible !! The costumes of the girls and of the Kami Band took a huge leap forward as compared to earlier versions of the band. The screaming guitars and the incredible vocals of Su-metal make for an unforgettable live show. The four new songs they played gave some insight into an upcoming new album. Yui-metal's absence is still a mystery, but the band made the best of the situation. I left the show extremely happy and wanting more. Isn't that all you could ask for in a live show?

Babymetal delivered! First Babymetal show and expectations have been exceeded. The venue was filled with energy and they fed off of it. Despite Yui being absent the show was still amazing. With GA tickets you may even end up closer than when you started. The movement from the crowd was so much that I started on stage right and ended on stage left. As a hardcore Metallica fan, I can say Babymetal definitely has it all. Please give Babymetal a chance!

Babymetal put on an amazing performance! Their show is very well choreographed, high energy, heavy, and fun - the crowd was full of energy and it was a wild night. For any metal enthusiast who may have scoffed at the idea kawaii metal darlings BABYMETAL, can have several seats. This show was awesome from beginning to end. Su-metal's voice was just as crisp and clear as it is on their videos. The music was executed skillfully and the melody was mind blowing. This is definitely a band that puts in the work and it shows. I'm really happy that I got the chance to see the band in my own backyard as opposed to having to spend a bunch of money to see them at a festival. Thanks so much for putting Houston on the tour.

About halfway back in the center floor I couldn't see much. Only when the lead signer got up on the central platform could I. Saw the bass player some cause he ws tall and front of tage left. Drummmer I saw a little on the right but too many people in front of me.. The girls in the crowd were worse off than me. I am not taal but they probably didn't see much. Why not put in a tv screen? baby metal play a short set. They do no encores. SHould have let the opening band sky harbour play longer.

Soooo disappointing. I was expecting all three girls in their traditional stage attire, doing their usual show; nope. Missing Yui, different costumes, different stage show, and most importantly; they did not look happy. This band is not just about the music, it used to be a spectacle to behold. Like Kiss back in the 1970-80s. Last year, closest they came to Texas was Little Rock. The year before that, closest was Chicago. Very disappointed I never got to see their tradition show. They were one hell of a 'flash in the pan' band; made me smile. Wish they were able to keep it together.

Everything was awesome except the sound. Bass has a purpose. That purpose is not too drown out everything. I couldn't hear the singers of both bands except when the bass stopped or got softer. Besides that everything was great. The employees were nice, the food was good (FYI crash there barricade was worth it). Just please turn the bass down during rock shows.

The opening, Skyharbor, was a very talented group of musicians. They got the crowd moving quick. But the night was all about Babymetal. The stage setup was great if not a little cramped but the Tabernacle is not a huge stage. The choreography was awesome and the two extra performers were amazing with their moves. I took my two teens at their request but I think I enjoyed the show as much as they did.

BabyMetal put on a great show. That's what it is, a show. Completely different from any other concert I've been to. The crowd was way too rowdy, pushing and shoving. People "crowd surfing" to the front, just to get kicked out by security. Not once did anyone on stage stop to address the crowd. No bows after the set, nothing. The opening band was decent enough. They at least spoke to the crowd. All in all, it was a good night, a good event, and good fun. It just could have been better.

even if a core members is missing in this chapter, they did not fail to deliver a mind-blowing experience. Suzuka has an unimaginable powerful voice. Suzuka, Moa (and Yui hopefully soon) are the most beautiful thing you'll ever see on stage. The Kami Band's music will get in your blood and shake your bones. Truthfully, words cannot really convey what BabyMetal experience really is like. You have to taste it yourself. I wish they'd be back over and over again...

First time seeing Babymetal. I was disappointed that Yuimetal was not there and they wore stupid looking costumes instead of the signature kawaii style I am used to seeing. But other than that, the performance was great and the songs sounded great. Oh yeah, was also disappointed they only played 11 songs which is basically an opening band set, but they were headliners. They should have played 15 songs min. Also, the venue was awesome. I am disabled, and they took all us ADA folks and put us in a little cage right up front on the left side. So I had a great view.

I'm giving the show 4 stars, because even though it was monumental it wasn't without problems. First of all, a VIP ticket worth $120+ more than the floor price earns you a better placement in line (somewhat), a handkerchief, and a cheap plastic VIP placard. Ultimately I didn't feel it was worth it. Second, Yui did not make an appearance. It turns out she's apparently not making any of the U.S. dates. Fine, but the management did not announce that ahead of time, and subsequently many people who came expecting the three Babymetal girls had to make do with two...and the resulting confusion was uncomfortable for attendees as well as the group. Lastly, while it was among the best shows I've ever seen, it lasted a scant 55 minutes including the intro and outro videos. This is a headlining tour, and this particular show was the tour opener. To say I was expecting more show is putting it politely. It was fabulous while it lasted, but it just wasn't enough. Add up all these factors and you can see why 80% or better of the attendees ended up leaving disappointed. It really should be given three stars out of five, but I gave it the extra star to show respect for the girls who DID perform, and did so admirably despite the circumstances. Amuse, the group's agency, messed it up.

Simply AWESOME... Bold exciting concept, New costumes, warrior-like for battle against the darkside, new choreography, new setlist ...Su-Metal, the Goddess is prepared for battle but she needs an army of loyal subjects. the setlist flows with conceptual fluidity.calling her subjects to join her in her quest to save Yuimetal from the darkside. The music was powerful and magical, the two new warriors are ready for battle and to support our Goddess and our Warrior Princess Moametal. Babymetal takes their art seriously, so serious as to holdout one Yuimetal for the sake of the story. the new songs say what's going on, quote from Distortion..."this is a bad dream" can't stop the power". they are calling for their fans support as they prepare for the battle with the darkside. The have finally graduated from kids into powerful women.. Babymetal is by far the most interesting band in the world today or ever.

I love this band and I will never be the same again because of this ... well not a concert, an appearance from some beyond universe that showed how artists can transcend the everyday. Su-Metal is the best rock/Metal/whatever singer alive and Moa-Metal (and her choreographer) are deconstructing the entire history of popular dance moves and creating an entirely different beast all together. Everybody afterward missed Yui-Metal (out with some undisclosed injury) but who would notice something like that when faced with this Heavy Metal: The Black and Silver Japanese Fly Girl ultimate throw down? Unbelievable.

Fans of idol, pop, and metal genres can come together and experience the others' music. Babymetal is loved by people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders. Their music is fun; their dances are energetic and engaging. The live concert has a few moments where the girls call out for an audience response. Their enthusiasm makes everything more enjoyable; it's very different than just watching their videos online. If you're on the floor, expect pushing, moshing, and crowd surfing as typical of any metal concert, but this occurs mostly in the center. If this isn't your thing, stick to the sides or go on the upper level. Ultimately, just enjoy the show, and throw up their signature fox sign whenever you can.

I've seen Babymetal twice. This being my second show. These girls put on an amazing show that rivals anyone out there. What I like the most about the girls is that they don't have opening acts. You go in, they get on stage and you rock out. I wish I had the money to follow them on their U.S. tour because each performance gets better and better. The back up "Kami Band" are amazing as well. Despite having to wait outdoors well past the 7pm door open, once we got in and secured a floor spot about 15 feet from center stage you could tell the crowd was primed and ready for a great show. Once the Kami band and the girls came onstage the place ignited and we were entertained non-stop through the entire set. The group really showed how skilled they are. The Kami band was on point with their technical wizardry. Yui and Moa were sharp and enthusiastic, and Su really shone as the lead singer. They really managed to rock the whole building and fans went wild all night long. The set list was primarily taken from Metal Resistance which really showcases how much the group has matured musically and as a collective unit. I hope fans enjoy the subsequent dates in the tour. I hope to see Babymetal again in the near future.

I've been trying to explain this concert to people who weren't blessed to attend it, people I thought understood how powerful rock and roll can be, but I haven't been able to convey it. Crude recorded videos on YouTube just don't reflect it. I have never seen a band quite put it together like Babymetal did here in Chicago Thursday. This glorious interplay of power, of beauty, of grace, of talent merged on one glorious night and left the audience incredulous about what they had just seen. The lead guitarists shot out riffs that bit like shards of shrapnel, the bass guitarist strummed mightily, the drummer rifled out reports that sang with percussive might, and all three girls danced and sang like they had finally seen their souls and lives uplifted by the love the audience felt for them. But it was lead singer Su-Metal who ruled the night--with her charisma as she cast a spell of impeccable mastery in her craft and in her art. How it happened, you never can tell, just that, sometimes, you are witness to something that just clicks: the word awesome hardly does it justice.

To be honest, this performance was like all their performances since they started touring with their live band, the Kami Band, they absolutely CRUSHED it. To borrow a friend's description, SU-METAL, YUIMETAL, and MOAMETAL together on stage are energetic (like you wouldn't believe), playful, professional and ferocious. Their show is an assault on the senses with the high energy, fast-paced perfectly-synced choreography in front, the chugging metal and occasional screaming guitars solos from the band (not to mention Boh's awesome bass solos), the dazzling lights, and through it all SU-METAL's soaring vocals. I am pretty confident that if you have not seen BABYMETAL yet, you have never seen a show like this before, and it is joyous.

Flew in from Texas. Lined up at 7am. 8th in line. Moved VIPs to opposite line around 9:30am. 11am, were told to move off a public sidewalk by someone who claimed to be venue security and used profanity then threatened to deny entry to several VIPs. After diligent fan, super hero and metal master "Dave" made a few phone calls the miscommunication seemed to be resolved. The rest of the security team and Brice were very friendly and helpful. No complaints about the production. BabyMetal delivered only as they could, full on! They get 5 stars! Sound and lighting were outstanding! However, I thought there were too many cameras! God forbid anyone to try to remember anything anymore. Everyone had their arms up with cameras and that's what I saw most of the show even from a 4 person depth from the front rail. Bartenders were friendly.

The concert was simply amazing. The sound quality was extremely good and BABYMETAL's band members all showed great enthusiasm while performing. The concert was somewhat short, but keep in mind that they only have 1 album (and they played it all). I would totally go again, no questions asked and would recommend it to every fan of Metal, Pop, and J-pop music.

They put on an amazing show. I wish the floor sloped downward towards the stage so everyone could have a chance to see the band, but other than that the band was amazing and put on an amazing show and really seemed to care about the fans.

Babymetal was my first big-name concert. I didn't really know what to expect, but I quickly noticed upon arrival that Babymetal draws together all kinds of people. I witnessed Anime nerds and hardcore metalheads stand shoulder to shoulder cheering on the evening's act. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves that night; I know I certainly did. I really want them to come back to Philly on their next tour.

Concert was beyond amazing!!! The girls have such an amazing energy that is contagious and spreads thorough out the crowd. Also, the performance is on point, singing, dancing and screening and jumping Moa-,Yui- and Su-metal along with Kami band do it all beyond perfection. I will totally go to all the shows around the world if I had the time and money. I hope these girls keep on going strong!!

This show was over the top intense. Constant entertainment, incredible skill, flawless performance. It was back to back songs the whole time, so high energy. I was pushed to my limits in the awesome moshpit. They played all their hits like Gimme Choco and Megitsune as well as newer songs like Karate and Metal Resistance. The musicians also took center stage for a special solo performance. Mind blowing show. See them at all costs if you have the opportunity.

I was dealing with a bit of a headache and some fatigue due to a new medication, so I was debating even going. I pushed myself, and I am SO glad I did. Babymetal live was an electric experience, from the choreography to the metal instrumentals. And the songs were so close to the original recording it was uncanny. Highly recommended you see them while you still can.

Wow didn't know what to expect, was a little skeptical, thinking they were like a boy band type genre, kinda gimmicky, maybe a bunch of sketchy Pedophiles in the crowd, I think I spotted a few, but boy was I wrong !!! They are legit & what a huge rabid following they have, Some goth people, cosplay, lots of dudes in slayer tees, asked some babymetal fans what hooked them , majority say they love speed/thrash metal but hate the screaming vocals that go with it, when they heard these cute j-pop Japanese girls singing instead it was the change they were looking for. Selling out Arenas worldwide ? Are you kidding me ! They are for real people, they gonna be selling out Arenas here soon I bet, my favorite band is Tool, so I know a good performance when I see one, they are a must see !

Babymetal sounded flawless their performance was amazing, the only downsides of the night were the venue claiming the doors open at 7:00pm and not opening the doors until after 8pm resulting in a ridiculous line for over 1/4 mile, and the band never played their best track in my opinion "headbangya"

I flew into Toronto from the US(Maine) to see Babymetal. Well worth the expense! The show was spectacular and full of energy. Flawless show and I'd travel just as far(or farther!) to see them again! I had a blast. Even danced and sang(as much as I could) along with the girls. I even participated in both Wall-of-Deaths, which I have never done before! Just a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

This was my fourth time seeing the incredible Babymetal and there is no doubt that their performances are absolutely spectacular every time. There is nothing in the world quite like this amazing band. That being said, at the show in Chicago, they were so much closer than at any other show I've been to (like five feet from the fans). Such a high energy, spectacular performance that I will NEVER forget! This show was so phenomenal that I still haven't gotten over it four days later. I cannot wait to see Babymetal again!!!

This was my second BABYMETAL show (I saw them in New York last year), and it just replaced my first one as the best concert I've ever attended! The energy in the venue (House of Blues - Chicago) was off the charts and both the girls and the band put on a grand performance! I am already looking forward to the next time I get the chance to watch them in action! Do yourself a favor and Catch Them If You Can! ;)

The show more than lived up to my expectations. The place was packed, and the crowd alternated between a frenzied state and silent mesmerization. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever get so excited to see 3 little girls singing bubbly pop songs in a foreign language on top of metal. Well, lo and behold, This Happened! The crowd was the most diverse group I've seen: metalheads, older professionals, couples, teens, little kids, idol fans, fans of Japanese culture, and people that were just curious (people of all races and cultures). The girls' stage presence is amazing--they poured their hearts out into this performance and truly cared about giving the audience the best show possible. The quality of the backing band is top notch. And the sheer FUN of the show is something that has to be experienced. I would see them again in a heartbeat!

But unlike Coldplay, Babymetal were unforgettable because they were awesome. That makes no sense. Put a Babymetal gig alongside seeing an eclipse or climbing K2 as things one must do in life. A simply joyful, wondrous and visually arresting piece of theater.

BABYMETAL's first US east coast show in NYC was crazy! Their show is one NOT to be missed! Moshes, Wall-of-Deaths, crowd surfing, everything you'd expect from a heavy metal concert, but with a stage presentation that is unlike any heavy metal concert ever. These girls can totally rock the house. HIGHLY recommended.

The concert was absolutely breathtaking. The Kami band (the live backing band) played their hearts out while the the adorable trio of Sumetal, Moemetal, and Yuimetal sung and danced with an intense presence on stage unlike any other. The music, of course, is an interesting blend of J-pop with metal. I believes it manages to blend the two genres in a fun and exciting way, leading to a risky yet well needed push in music. The setlist included the whole album, in addition to two instrumental interludes where the Kami band got a well deserved chance to show their technical abilities off. Sumetal's powerful vocals will only get more and more refined as she matures. Yui and Moe's performance in Onedari Daisakusen shows they'll grow to be more than simply backup as the band develops. Also some lasers and pyrotechnics helped make it a wonderfully flashy show. Overall I can't wait to see their next performance in NY! This experimental band gone viral has a lot to live up to now that they're being treated and watched as any other. The direction they go in from here will be something that makes or breaks continued success. Hopefully they'll continue to flourish!

There was preppies and hardcores, first timers and experienced concert goers, nerds and jocks, rich and poor, young and old an eclectic group of people descended on the hammersteim that tuesday night. Nobody cared anything about that though, as we were ALL metal that night we danced as one, we sang as one, we moshed as one, we were a wall of death.

Honestly, the best experience of my life, the time went so fast, Babymetal combine such fantastic mixed genres of rock and also enough Kawaii Idol pop to make it the best thing I have ever heard, I am a fan for life, and the concert was so amazing. Crowd was nearly fully packed, and I was near the front where the real mosh pit was, not for the faint hearted! DEFINITELY, going to the next available one!
