The entire evening was outstanding. I had not seen Kenny Wayne Shepherd for years and was very glad I got to see him. I won't miss him again when a show is in or near Kansas City

the show was amazing, Trampled Under Foot started off with a bunch of blues that dont get much bluesier. Pat Travers then had his way with the fret board, kind of spanked it around a little bit. & then the closest thing-- we will ever see to Jimi Hendrix--Kenny Wayne Sheperd, & 4 his encore Trampled Under Foot came back 4 a little music sharing fun!!

The beer and the vendors were awesome, very friendly and brought great beer for us to try. I assume the bands were good too, but the venue was completely wrong for an event like this and as a result almost none of us saw or heard the bands. The amphitheater is far too spread out for such a small number of vendors so the bands could only be heard as you were going though to the other stands. The VIP area was nice, much more intimate and the snacks were a good thing. One last complaint....what's up with the plastic tasting cups? For $55 I was expecting at least a collectible tasting cup. If it's held at that facility again next year I won't be returning though.

Really enjoyed all the acts, but the concert was a little rushed, maybe because of the short delay from the rain before the concert. What happen to Bobby Rush?

There was not any true Blues music played. Most of the artists were soul type artists. Many Artists were very sexual in interacting with the crowd. Not appropriate for teens. Beer sampling was Only 6 one ounce tastes of different beers. Event was falsely advertised.

great! Only thing it rained for an hour. Which caused the opening 3 acts to be too short.

The event was delayed because of rain, but once the rain cleared the show was on and popping. The acts were ready to get the party going and they did in deed from Shirley Brown to Sir Charles Jones, the party just kept going. The atmosphere was that of we just came to have a good time and people were dancing and enjoying. Great event!!1

I've seen Trampled Under Foot many times, but this was the best. They were on fire. Nick's guitar was under control and tight. Danielle sounded as good as I've ever heard her. It's a shame their set was so short. Pat Travers was loud and played his guitar very fast. Aside from the last four songs, it was cliche guitar rock. It didn't fit in with the Blues theme of the evening. Kenny Wayne and Noah Hunt were in great form. For my money, Kenny Wayne is the best blues guitar player out there right now. The highlight of the evening was when Kenny Wayne brought Nick and Danielle from TUF back on stage for Kiling Floor and Dust My Broom. Wow! I wish someone was recoding it.

Thoroughly enjoyed concert KWS & band were outstanding. I love their music and puts on a great show. The way Kenny plays is head and shoulders above all others and I so enjoy watching him play. The two opening bands, Trambled Under Foot were great and enjoyed Pat Travers Band too.

TUF & Kenny Wayne were awesome, did not like Pat Travers band being there. His instruments were too loud, couldn't understand his vocals. He played one Blues song, otherwise he was just a heavy metal band. We came to see Blues.

This concert was amazing. Enjoyed the Travers band but not as much blues as I would have liked. Kenny Wayne Shepherd was GREAT again! I have never seen anything but awesome shows from him. Really enjoyed it - and loved them jamming with TUF at the end. Sounded really good together.

The crowd was predominately over 50, which makes a great crowd for a show like this. They actually take their trash to a container.Kenny Wayne Shepard Band, Trampled Under Foot, and Pat Travers Band played their hearts out. Independence Events Center is a class act. I would like to see more shows of this kind there. I made the comment to my wife when we walked in, that all the men in the crowd looked like Bob Seger.

Liked it that almost all the seating was general admission...we found great seats and had an unobstructed view of the stage....Trampled Underfoot is a new favorite blues band...really liked them! Had never heard Pat Travers before but I liked the blues stuff they played...and haven't seen KWS in concert in a couple of years at least but they rocked like always! The venue was small and clean and you could drink $5 beers all night...it was a great show!

Trampled Under Foot was awesome! Danielle has an amazing voice. Kenny Wayne was fantastic also. Could have done without Pat Travers. They weren't really blues at all. Would love to see a show with just TUF and KWS. That would be excellent!

Wasn't a big fan, but now I am! Of all three bands, especially have followed TUF around this town of Blue Springs, MO and we've been fans for years!! Pat Travers can still rock the house! And KWS ~ wicked, wicked guitar! And the vocalist ~ they just go hand in hand!!

Kenny Wayne and vocalist Noah Hunt did not disappoint and played it all and then some. Trampled Under Foot, Pat Travers and Kenny Wayne Shepherd all gave great performances. I hope this becomes an annual event and grows into an actual blues fest.

Bought seats on floor, unsure of where they really were...imagine my surprise at 3rd row! Any seats would have been great for this arena. Not so big that you couldn't see anything, even from the back.
