There are rare moments in time when you instinctively know something wonderful is going to happen. This is the moment, this is the time. Tonight's concert experience by Jackie Evancho had something special for everyone in attendance. From the classic ballad of Caruso , the incredible, ethereal How Great Thou Art , to the magnificent Jackie creation, Pedestal takes you along in an evening of brilliance that included Jackie s very own personal life experiences. This concert, as well as all her concerts truly are a masterpiece.

An evening concert with Jackie performing in an outdoor venue with a 110 degree heat index...and she gave us an evening to cherish. She was absolutely stunning, personable, and didn't miss a single note ~ and so many of her notes transitioned & sustained were awe inspiring. The perfect mix of classical and popular from all generations, she's developing her own new definition of classical crossover, but she's so much more. Our night with Jackie was enchanting & magical. I am so very glad we had this opportunity. She will go down in history as one of the great masters of her art, and we were there. :-)

The little voice of an angel has grown into a young woman with power and confidence, and is now the voice of the ages. Classical songs in various languages, show tunes, and more modern music sung by Jackie can all give you goose bumps. Unforgettable! And in the holiday season, the second half of her performance includes a variety of songs that evoke memories of the meanings and connections behind the season. I've seen her more than 20 times in not quite eight years, and somehow always find myself wanting to have tickets on hand for a future event, to be able to look forward to witnessing the continuing growth of a legend! The Model Lyric has history and good acoustics, and has been well maintained. The security may delay entrance - arrive early. And the nearest parking garage may not be well run, esp. on Sundays - definitely arrive early!

Jackie Evancho will win you over even if you don't like operatic style singing. This is the girl who, at 10 years of age, won over hearts of millions on a reality show with her stunning singing voice, and now at 17 recently sang the national anthem at inauguration. The show I went to was a Christmas-themed show, though she also sang non-holiday songs such as When You Wish Upon a Star. Between songs she spoke to the audience and came across as a cheerful, appreciative, and extremely likeable everyday teenage girl. Honestly, I was planning to leave this show at intermission, because I am generally not a huge fan of operatic singing, but she kept me the whole time. I rarely give five stars, and honestly initially gave this review four stars, but I feel compelled to support a wonderful, talented, humble girl like this. When you look at the cost of tickets for her shows, they are very, very reasonable, so I don't see any reason why you shouldn't go check her show out. There was no opening act for this show, as she walked right on stage. The only complaint I have is that they didn't allow any pictures! We were told by the ticket person that no cell phone usage or pictures were allowed, and to go to the lobby before using our phones in any way. When you see such a talented singer like Jackie Evancho performing, you naturally want to take a picture! I have never been to a concert like this where pictures were 100% banned, and I have no idea why they did that. The audience seemed to comply, as I didn't notice one person take out a camera or a phone. But it felt so restrictive. In the future, they should allow non-flash pictures, or allow ticketholders to purchase meet & greets where they can take pictures with Jackie after the show.

Jackie Evancho is quite possibly the finest young voice in music today; the natural heir to Sarah Brightman's crown. At the historic Uptown Theater in Napa, she was absolutely BRILLIANT; not only showing off her pure, transcendent voice, but also "feeling it" in a way that 17 year olds should not be able to do. A very special night indeed.

PowerPoint slides in the background of the performance were amateurish and annoying. They HAVE to go. Background orchestration instead of live music (except for piano) another negative for performance. Jackie Evancho has a beautiful voice, but she needs someone to manage her performance and presentation.

We attended her concert at the Genesee Theatre and the audience went crazy with Jackie's performance. Highly recommend that Jackie is added to your "Must See" music events. She sings a wide variety of songs which makes her performances enjoyable for all age ranges which is what her audiences are now. She started off with Impossible Dream then went through songs from Streisand to Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. She also sang some of her own Pop songs mixed in with some of her songs from earlier albums. Her voice is incredible and she is dazzling to watch onstage. See her perform if you can.

Her voice penetrates my soul - I can't explain how it makes me feel to hear her sing. There are no words that can express my feelings. Jackie is amazing. Jackie has a voice that can stir up emotions in people. I witnessed other members of the audience tearing up listening to her angelic voice. I had goosebumps a few times through her performance. She is at a young tender age and is so sweet as she addresses her audience before a song, yet the second she sings you hear her strength and control as if she had been singing for decades! It was so nice to see and hear Jackie Evancho at this performance. I became aware of her when she was on America's Got Talent, and while I was impressed with her talent back then (I believe that she was about 12 at the time), she is even better now, and in person. She is poised and has the voice of an angel. I was able to see her show this summer in Milwaukee, and this performance was even better than that one. The concert in Milwaukee was wonderful, but even though it had only been a few months ago, Jackie seemed more experienced and had honed her talents further than she had then. She even looked as if she had matured since then. I would recommend this show to anyone who really enjoys good classical music, combined with a beautiful voice.

Just a disclaimer, I am a big fan of Jackie's. I've been to 4 of her concerts now and I think her nickname should be "red wine" she just keeps getting better with age. She is such a beautiful young lady and very refreshing because she has no baggage. When she talks to the audience ii is great to see she is still a 16 year old girl that truly respects her fans.I can go on and on but let me tell you seeing her sing the Lord's Prayer live is worth the admission in it's self. The song recorded is beautiful but to hear her live is heavenly. What a beautiful voice and a breath of fresh air. I hope she can avoid all the traps of the industry.

Jackie truly is "the real thing, and the whole package." She glides onto the stage with poise and grace, wearing a spectacular dress, smiling and beaming, and then she starts to sing. From that moment her remarkable voice and charming personality captivate the audience for the entire concert. I especially appreciate how one moment she presents herself as truly mature and professional, then a moment later, she giggles, in such a way that melts the heart. Toward the end of the concert I caught myself desperately wanting to go see her again as soon as possible.Once you experience Jackie in person, you will want to see her again, and witness this truly wonderful legend as it unfolds before us. A wonderful evening with a Christmas theme. Have been to several of Jackie's shows since she started touring, and each is a unique experience. The program was a good mix of Dream with Me and Songs from the Silver Screen albums but also some of her Christmas songs. Each song was delivered with great emotion and skill and poise. My goodness, she is growing up quickly. Hearing and seeing Jackie live is an experience that can not be replicated from a CD.

Jackie Evancho is out of this world. There's nothing like her and when she grows up there'll be nothing to take her place. She sang 4 or 5 sets of three songs each. As a singer myself I rate her performance as practically flawless. She is a tireless performer and ended her show with three encores. Her final song in French, "Imaginer," is one of the most difficult and she even sang a more difficult arrangement of the song than you can see on some of her concert You Tubes. My wife and I had a chance to meet Jackie before the show. One can sense that she is truly a little girl and it's not just an act. God has truly blessed this child. I wonder how she'll change over the next 2 or 3 years and if she'll be able to keep her charm and innocense. I hope so.

We were truly blessed that one the very few Jackie Evancho 2012 concerts was in this area. Jackie mesmerized the hundreds of young children in the audience. A five year old CAN go three minutes without breathing. The song selection was perfect. This is what the audience came for and is the last year for most of them. It s hard to do full justice to Foster's arrangement, but I hope she doesn't drop Lovers as the opening. Even a few seconds of the orchestra as she walks on stage would be OK. It's an American tradition. I would like to thank Ms. Evancho for not canceling the concert less than a week after her injury. She does not have to be so subtle during her pre-performance prayer, she won t offend this crowd. A lot of the performance was stage left because of the close-up camera I assume. Why were personal videos verboten? It was strictly enforced.

A balmy spring night in Atlanta and the Verizon Amphitheater created a perfect setting for this concert. The Atlanta Philharmonic was the perfect platform from which to launch Jackie's incredibly beautiful voice. The stars were aligned for a magical night and that's exactly what Jackie delivered. This concert was very well attended by a mixture of younger and older demographics. Multiple standing ovations and all taken with the charm, grace and youthful exuberance we've all become so familiar with. Although this was a strange venue for such an amazing classical young artist, it worked and was a wonderful experience. This music is suited for the concert hall but the sound and atmosphere for the evening was informal and great fun. Purchased the meet and greet package for the opportunity to get a personal photo. What can you say about Jackie? She has such an amazing voice and such a nice person. The set was delivered with great passion from her Dream with me album and a couple of new additions. I loved her version of Starry Starry Night. Touring with the young (but considerably older than Jackie - who is not) Josh Page provided a nice balance for the program. They complement each other well, and did an superb duet of the Prayer. A live Jackie Evancho concert is an experience that far surpasses a CD or iPOD. Go for it if you can.

The show.was fun, She is very professional when singing and very 11yo between songs. It was nice to watch her being a young lady. They are not trying to dress her up to be older than she is. She was really down to earth during the Meet and Greet. This was my only problem. They rushed us through there. It made the experience a little let down. She coldn't even say "HI" or " Thank you" It would have been nice to have a professional.photographer for the price paid. Also I was hoping to have a cd cover signed for a friend. They did give out a poster that she signed but this was before the show. So what to do with the poster during the show. She sang wonderfully with the orchestra and the young gentlemen, Josh Page, on tour with her is a grand singer in his own right. They were great together.

I was blown away by an 11 year old on Saturday night at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, UT. I knew that Jackie possessed an extraordinary talent when I chose to drive from Colorado Springs to see and hear her perform. But little did I realize what a profound talent she has until hearing the first notes Lovers emanated from her small body. Jackie's brilliance is not only her voice but the manner in which she expresses herself when singing. Her hand gestures are mesmerizing and the pure bliss in her facial expressions conveys to the audience the sheer joy she experiences when signing and sharing with her audience. Jackie epitomizes, even at this young age, what the finest of performers possess, an intimate ability to connect with her audience. How truly blessed she is. And how blessed and privileged we are whom are able to see her in person. One can only pray that she will be well taken care of and continue to share with the world a true gift from God. :-)

Jackie is a one-in-many generations talent that is definite must see. No video can ever do justice to the amazing experience of hearing and seeing her live. No matter what genre of music has been your favorite until now, chances are Jackie s voice will win you over in a snap. Her performance in LA was simply phenomenal. Her voice transports you to a world you didn't even know existed. Her stage presence was charming and endearing. Being a Classical-Crossover singer, Jackie drew a crowd that enjoys Classical music yet is open to expressing their enthusiasm, which resulted in an electric atmosphere as Jackie interacted with the audience and vice-versa. The crowd gave standing ovations, clapped, cheered and basically roared, it was a fantastic night! The guest singer, Josh Page also gave the audience an amazing performance on his own and they even did a duet. Recommended for people of all ages, just go!

What a great night! I purchased a VIP ticket, through Ticketmaster, of course. Front row, center section, 4 or 5 seats from dead center stage. The VIP package included attendance at Jackie's sound check, and a brief photo-op with Jackie. I spent 16 hours round-trip on a bus to Atlantic City, and stayed at an inexpensive motel, so I could afford the $250 price for the VIP package. It was worth every penny spent and every minute on the bus, crying babies and all! The concert was fantastic. Jackie sang 13 solo songs, guest tenor Chris Dallo sang 3 solo songs, and Jackie and Chris sang one incredible duet - "The Prayer," written by David Foster. Jackie has the most beautiful soprano voice you have ever heard. She sings a mix of opera arias, classical songs, and songs from Broadway shows. She sings in at least four languages (English, Italian, French and Latin). Her emotional intensity is off the chart. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. she's only 11 years old. If you have not heard her sing, go right now and check her out on YouTube, then get over to Target to buy her 'Dream With Me" CD - make sure it's the one with the 4 bonus tracks (available at Target only). After that, you will find yourself checking her website every day to keep up with her concert schedule.

When Jackie came out to perform, the place just lit up with everyone cheering. One of the biggest impression I got was how relaxed and carefree she appeared on stage. When I first saw her perform at the Oct. Pittsburgh concert, I was on the first-tier balcony. At this concert, I was 4 rows from the front. Let me say, it is a HUGE difference being at a concert when you are right up front. Jackie is just mesmerizing when you see her perform at such a close range. It seems as though she is singing directly to you. She makes the most amazing eye contact that I felt like she was really paying attention to everyone and giving each of us our own individual serenade. Jackie seemed so much more in command on the stage than the first performance I saw (and she was in command at that performance too). She held the microphone most of the time and occasionally would walk about the stage from one side to another. She seems so naturally comfortable up on stage. It is just spellbinding to see someone so young having such great stage presence. I am also quite amazed at how much power she has in her voice. She sang so beautifully, I had to wipe my eyes several times. Christpoher Dallo also performed some solo works. Jackie gave him a nice introduction and talked about how he beat her on the competition they were in. She gave him a lot of credit and told us how they were such good friends. It was really nice to see that. He and Jackie performed The Prayer as a duet. They were really incredible together. There were some wonderful moments of friendship exchanges with them holding hands and having their arms around each other while they were singing. It was really a site to behold! I felt like the crowd was really into the show. There were numerous standing ovations after each song with loud cheering and yelling. Most of the time, the cheering would start before the orchestra had a chance to close out a piece. Jackie gave two encores at the end as she had done in past concerts on the tour. At the end of the last encore, I felt as though the house lights came up a little too quick and sort of quenched the applause that I think would have gone on further had they stayed down. But, all-in-all, the crowd was definitely showing a lot of appreciation and Jackie was just eating it up. She was waving, smiling, and giggling a lot. It really warms my heart to see her so happy on stage like that. The orchestra played marvelously and opened up each half of the program with Rossini's Barber of Seville and various selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite respectively. The concert has both a classical and pop feel to it which is typical of the Classical-Crossover genre that is associated with Jackie. If you are not a classical fan before you come to one of these concerts, you will be after. The programming for this concert was exceptional! The first half consisted of several selections from Jackie's "Dream With Me" CD. Each song was sung with intense emotion and absolutely incredible musicality. It is hard to keep in mind that she is only 11 years old and yet sounds like some of the top singers of our time who are at a much more older age. The second half of the concert shifted to a Christmas holiday theme in which Jackie performed various songs from her recently released "Heavenly Christmas" CD. Each song was masterfully performed by Jackie and the accompanying orchestra. There was one small glitch with the microphone cutting out during one of the pieces. Did Jackie panic like most 11 year-olds would do? Absolutely not! She continued to perform and shook it off until the microphone was restored (only about 20 seconds). She gave a thumbs up and the crowd showed their support for being so brave during the troubled microphone problem . Jackie is always impeccably dressed for her concerts. In the first half, she wore a beautiful black and white dress. In the second half, she switched to a red dress to match the holiday theme. She was absolutely stunning! If anyone ever has the chance to see Jackie in concert and does not take the opportunity to go see her, it would be a huge mistake. Go see her perform! You won't be disappointed.

This was my second live Jackie concert, first being Atlanta. In the 4th row this time made everything come to life. She just gets better and better. The voice is rich with deep harmonics that are just heavenly to hear. The high notes are effortless and bell-like in their purity. Unlike Atlanta, she was able to move around the stage and used it like she was playing with her ducks in her backyard, completely at home. She is such a natural. She sang all of my favorites (except Danny Boy) "A time for us", "The impossible dream", "O Holy night", "Angel", "I'll be home for Christmas","Believe","Imaginer","The Lord's prayer", and with Christopher Dallo "A Mother's prayer" he singing Susan Boyle's part with his powerful tenor voice in Italian and she in English--a nice touch. But when they held hands for the ending it seemed a little strange she being 11 and he twice her age. Ah, I guess she will have to grow up some day. For now, she will stay my private angel.

I have followed Jackie since she came in second on American Idol. Her voice and show was everything I was hoping it would be. The only downside was it being late on a Sunday night.

Jackie Evancho is a wonderfully talented young woman. She delivered wide variety of music that was a mix of Broadway and opera. It was everything I expected and more. Her show should not be missed.

An awesome performance by Jackie Evancho and her pianist. The stage set up was great. The art center was amazing. The security was sufficient. All the venders were very nice and treated us kindly. The parking was wonderful. A job well done; all. Will be returning to your center very soon. Keep up the great work!

Jackie Evancho has the best voice imaginable. Better than Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brytom and Josh Groban combined. Should be selling out the largest venues. What a treat to be in a close environment with about 1000 people.

What a delightful young singer. It has been a joy to see this young lady grow from a child to a lovely teenager. Her voice continues to amaze audiences. She is so grounded and just a regular teenager. Lots of grace and poise, as well as a gorgeous voice!!

she did it again she only sang for 90 minutes on top of it she took a 20 minute intermission balcony was empty
Great soprano voice ... She sure is not the Rock'n'Roll style .... She's got great talents for sure....I would have preferred to see a nice formal water pitcher and a real drinker glass to replace those tacky plastic bottles on the stage !!!! Like a real artist ....
Jackie was excellent, but she didn't sing "Pie Jesu" or "O Mio Babbino Caro". That's like an Il Volo concert without "O Sole Mio" and "Il Mondo" (which they most certainly did at Wolf Trap several months ago). Jackie didn't do the favorites and that was super disappointing. Also, the speaker system seemed to have a slight hiss or feedback that was distracting. Definitely less than my expectations.
It was ok......She was super cute, bubbly, and charmed the audience! The music was ok, but it all started to sound the same and her voice seemed limited to just one range and tone. All of the songs ran together and you could not understand the words unless you knew the song before hand....I don't regret going but won't send money to see her again.
This young lady is a magnificent performer with the voice of an angel. We have been following this young ladies career since her appearance on America's Got Talent and she is just amazing. We had the opportunity to see her in January 2014 at the King Center in Melbourne, FL and she had come down with a cold and sore throat, but she still performed well and didn't give up. She received several standing ovations during that performance. When we saw that she would be performing at the Florida Theatre, we had to go see her again, and again she amazed us with her beautiful voice and interaction with the audience. Again several standing ovations. Will be looking forward to seeing her again in the years to come. As Senior citizens, it's we love to see such talent from someone so young.
Great show. Jackie's voice is unbelievable for a girl of such a young age. Her ending song of "The Lord's Prayer" was amazing! A very sweet young lady!
Jackie, as we all know, has a beautiful adult voice. But, when she addresses the audience, the 14 year old girl comes out and it is both adorable and innocent, as it should be. She was very professional and cute at the same time. Not many stars can pull that off. I was very happy with her selection of music, nothing too uppity, and with her background support. Overall, a great experience and one that I hoped would be so.
What a performance, no words can describe the actual experience !! Jackie Evancho captured our hearts with her voice and music. She is very sweet and so humble when talking to the audience. She was very interactive with the audience between her songs. Very charming person and may God bless her with lot of success and happiness. Beautiful songs from her selection that rang through my mind for the rest of the night. The orchestra was awesome too, they fitted so well with Jackie. The show started right on time and ended exactly 2 hours later with a 15 minute half time break. Good theater, gave us a nostalgic feeling of the good old days. Overall well organized and we were very happy.

I have followed Jackie ever since she started with America's Got Talent. I often wondered how much of her singing was due to modern technology and how much of it was actually her. After hearing her live, all doubts are removed. She is the "real deal". I have been around young musicians my entire adult life, having taught music for 41 years, I have not seen anything that compares to her. She is a true joy to hear and I hope to hear her singing the lead role in Phantom one day on Broadway!

Ever since falling in love with this child on America's Got Talent, I have been hopeful of seeing and hearing her in person. This was my opportunity and she did not disappoint! She's a teenager now and just a goofy and awkward as you might expect, but at the same time, she a DIVA when it comes to singing. I can only imagine what she will sound like in 10 or 20 years but at least I can say I heard her live.

My husband and I braved a very cold winter evening with possible icy driving conditions on the way home to attend the Jackie Evancho concert at Atlanta Symphony Hall. As she grows, her voice is maturing. Her low notes are rich, and her high notes are still crystal clear. She has the charming giggle of a normal teenage girl as she introduces her next song or comments on her thoughts and feelings about the music. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing her sing.

I have been wanting to hear Jackie in person for many years. I was blown away by her singing. She has an unbelievable beautiful voice. The evening was made more amazing with the symphony.
Jackie was amazing in this concert. I have followed her for years and she just continues to get better. The venus was very comfortable, my seats could not be better and Jackie....WOW. What an entertainer. The audience had tears of joy in their eyes she can make a grown man cry. I just bought tickets through Ticketmaster to see her in Jacksonville next month with my Grand daughter.
One of the best performances I have seen. The purity of the music, the symphony, the singer, the songs made the evening outstanding. How refreshing! Jackie, her conductor, and the ASO did not need gimmicks - the music spoke for itself.
Ms. Evancho displayed her remarkable talents in the Star Plaza concert. Her voice and range are amazing! Her skills defy description. The entire performance was heavenly!
