The Delta Saints

The Delta Saints

Blues rock sextet The Delta Saints began as a purely live band without any intention of recording their music. They’ve released many celebrated albums since then, but they still shine brightest when rocking out on the stage. In concert the band blends old-timey elements like harmonica and slide guitar with modern lyrics, funky  electric basslines, and driving drum beats, and the resulting sound is at once familiar and refreshing. Their passionate, fiery mix of Delta blues and Southern rock makes for a rollicking live show, and the band always gives 110% as they tear through boot-stomping cuts like \"Death Letter Jubilee\" and \"Swamp Groove\".

Delta Saints are incredible and as always put on a great show, great music. We go to see them every time they are in town. The venue is not the greatest, Blueberry Hill has so went downhill, the place is filthy, and just needs some work. The Duck Room, makes you feel like you are in a dungeon. We are at Blueberry Hill before the concert the food was good, the service was incredibly slow.

The Delta Saints always bring down the house. This is the third time I have seen them and never disappointed. The Duck Room however is a dive. Great band, venue sucks.
