Darren Criss is a dynamic performer who will have you entertained during his entire set. His energy level is contagious and had the entire venue captivated and dancing through the night. The mixture of new songs and old favorites was appealing. He moved from upbeat pop songs, to what he termed his "coffee house" songs, which were mostly off his Human EP, back to pop songs to finish out the night. Darren is known from A Very Potter Musical with Starkid Productions and FOX's Glee, and with that knowledge he catered to the whole audience, no matter how you first discovered him as an artist. I will always be looking for upcoming opportunities to see Darren perform and experience this exceptional entertainer.

Fabulous concert by the one and only Darren Criss. The two opening acts were great as well and joined Darren as part of his band after their sets. Darren did a mix of new songs, old favorites from his restaurant singing days as well as Starkid. Opened with a sweet rocked out rendition of Circle of Life. Fillmore balcony seats had a great view. Only mild complaint was that the staff could have started allowing people in a little earlier (doors were supposed to open at 7:00 pm and line did not start moving until 7:20). Wouldn't have been a big deal, but it was a torrential downpour at the time.

Such an amazing experience. This Glee star has come a long way from posting you tube videos from his dorm room. Darren played not only his own beloved songs but gave us a taste of his new stuff and threw in a couple covers. Would recommend his show for the whole family. The concert was non stop. Can't wait for his next show!

The title just sums up what i felt that day. It the first stop in the Listen Up tour and it was TOTALLY AWESOME! Even though I didn't get VIP I was still super close. I was surprised how close I was, I guess waiting in line for 6 hours was worth it. This is actually my first Darren Criss concert and I loved it. He sang some of his old songs and everybody started singing along. Even I sang along! The audience was really into it and Darren had alot of energy. I would REALLY want to go again. It has been a week since the concert and still thinking how awesome it was!! :D

We got there right at 7:30. Theo Katzman opened for about half an hour, they took about a 40 minute break, and then Darren came out. He was all jokes and laughs and incredibly humble. He sympathized with the people who were dragged along to the concert, introduced himself a number of times for them, and made sure everyone had a good time. He even made jokes about the time of the concert where the energy dies down, and played an up beat song. He kept everyone involved and happy. I would love to see him again.

Really good mix of Starkid tunes, brand new songs and some of his older original songs. Theo Katzman rocked as the opener, as did Charly and Margaux. I had the VIP and got to meet Darren before the show and he was just an absolute doll and so genuinely appreciative of his fans. Can't wait for his next tour!

This show was amazing! Really good mix of brand new songs, Starkid tunes and some of his older original songs. He even did "Sophomore" by request! Theo Katzman opened and ROCKED IT. Charly and Margaux (Chargaux) warmed up the crowd and I enjoyed them even though it isn't my normal style. Some minor hiccups during the night, but it was the second show of the tour; nothing huge or really disruptive. And he did a song with his brother!

I would go to his show but he's not coming to Atlanta. He is an amazing singer and songwriter. Now, for you "gleeks" out there, you know him as Blaine, but if you're going to his concert you're obviously a big fan. If you haven't heard many of his songs before, then look up "starkid starship" on youtube. He isn't in that one but he wrote all of the music. He also wrote the music for "me and my dick" and he played dick in the first production, but not the recording that is on youtube. and maybe you haven't heard but he plays harry potter in A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, and A Very Potter Senior Year, and he wrote the songs for the first two. You might want to watch those before you go on tour because i'd bet you $1,000,000,000 that he'll sing songs from at least one of those! please come to this destination in the future, darren.

I was lucky enough to see Darren perform at Market Days in Chicago and it was a concert-going experience I'll never forget. He's so engaging with the crowd and played a great mix of songs from his EP, StarKid, Glee and he even debuted a new song - "Another Love Affair" (which all us fans knew as "New Song Interlude"). It was an outdoor concert and it had been raining (nay - pouring) most of the day, but everyone took it in stride. Darren even opened his set with "Singin' in the Rain" and everyone laughed. He's such a good natured person and very captivating when he performs. There were a lot of screaming fangirls there, but even they were hushed when Darren asked if everyone could be quiet while he sang "Teenage Dream." (Of course his phone rang during the song and everyone laughed at the mishap :) ). You can tell Darren was born to perform - he's a very talented musician, singer and songwriter. But he's not doing this because it's a chore - it is very obvious that he loves music and loves sharing that music with anyone who will listen. It was amazing to get to see him live in concert and I look forward to his tour during the summer of 2013. I highly recommend you seeing this truly talented and genuinely kind individual perform live at least once in your life :)

I've seen Darren Criss in concert twice, and both experiences were amazing. He has a wide variety of music from Disney covers and current pop hits delivered in his own inimitable style to his original pieces, and even my (adult) daughter who didn't really know who he was enjoyed the concert. You've seen him playing Blaine on "Glee", but he's so much more than just an actor. He's a gifted songwriter and musician. He also talks to the audience, so one feels as if one has actually met him, even if you've just been in the crowd. He's so relaxed when he's performing that it feels like a gathering of friends. Don't miss this chance to see him.

I cannot even begin to describe--!! Venue was awesome. I've never been to a place like this, and was suuuper happy with it! The way the room was set up made everything really accessible. Lighting was too cool. Okay-- Darren Freaking Criss. Seriously the most fun show I've ever been to. He's a great crowd-pleaser, and knows how to put on a fantastic concert!! I'm a long-time Starkid, as well as a Glee-fan (because of him, of course!), and he really catered to both types of fans. The songs off his album were a hundred times cooler live, and I really wouldn't have traded it for the world! AJ, Joey, and Joe were there, too, and that was sooo cool!

Waiting in line in the rain without an umbrella super-sucked. I'm really glad I went even though I was having some trouble and entered crying. There was one really kind girl who stopped to ask me if I was ok, and I'm hoping she reads this because I was so grateful for that. Back to Darren Criss, he is an amazing performer and it is so exciting to see him live. The only reason I did not give him five stars was because he did not come out to meet the fans afterwords like he did at The Mint.

I've been a HUGE fan of Darren Criss since i discovered the StarKid Potter's "A Very Potter" Series. He's such an amazing performer and is such a genius when it comes to composing songs. They can be light-hearted, and intended to be humerous, or deep, emotional songs. It doesn't matter, because it's always flawless. he's such an amazing performer. You can literally SEE the emotion when he sings, it's so authenticated and just amazing. I look forward to seeing him again! Another thing I LOVE about Darren is that he's such a Down-to-earth kind of guy. He mentioned 5 times in the hour and a half performance that he was thankful for everyone's support. He has a way of connecting with the audience that makes you feel like you matter.

I took a friend to see Darren, a friend who is oblivious to StarKid and Glee and she thought the show was wonderful...I was on cloud nine, seeing many StarKid actors and then Darren do his thing. So much fun and I will return to see him any time. He had even tweeted that he wasn't feeling well, which made his performance that much more touching. I was also impressed that he was supporting Toys for Tots and I got my signed postcards when I brought a xylaphone and some maracas!

Darren's performance at the Roxy Theater was great. He made every moment fun, there was never a dull moment. I went to see both performances that night because he was that awesome and he was so nice. There were many people on the second performance waiting for the other band and he took the time to explain some of the Harry Potter songs for the other people and said it was ok that they didn't know them. He didn't expect them to. Over all, I enjoyed it so much and am definitely going to any of his other ones.

I loved that Darren played a mix of tunes from Glee, Disney, his EP Human, and AVPM. Also, seeing Joey Richter was great fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert! I was disappointed that Darren didn't come out after the show to meet fans. Other musicians have made themselves more accessible. I know he's done this in the past so I'm sad the venue did not give him enough time to do this for our 4pm show. Also, not a fan of the 3 dollar charge for those under 21, nor the 2 drink minimum for those over. It should be policy for people to pay/tip for their drinks, not forced to pay money for drinks they won't buy. Just another way for the Roxy to take our money. I would see Darren Criss live again, but I won't be quick to come back to the Roxy.

This is for the true Darren Criss fan who wants to know what he eats for breakfast. Yes, he's cute as a button, but I could have gotten the same entertainment watching him as a guest on the Jimmy Kimmel show. It was mostly Darren Criss sitting in a chair chatting with the host (not sure who he is) and rattling on way too long. As for performing Broadway songs, Darren's sings maybe 4 or 5 songs from mostly obscure, short-lived Broadway shows. So, unless you're a theater arts student or an obsessive fan of Darren Criss, I would suggest you save your money. It was my first time inside The Parker Playhouse though and that was very nice.

I was lucky enough to be able to see Darren at his last tour stop in Silver Spring, and it was the best concert experience I've ever had--possibly the best live performance I've ever been fortunate to attend. Darren put on an amazing show. Loved the new songs and the new arrangements to his older originals and covers. Darren is such a likeable performer, and he puts everything into his performance. He is so willing to give everything to an audience--to make each individual spectator feel special and appreciated. There were several moments throughout the set in which Darren tried to connect with each audience member, individually thanking that person for supporting him. The most beautiful moment was when Darren decided to sing a bit of "Days of Summer" before "Teenage Dream." His raw emotion and sincerity was really moving. Darren is an unbelievable talent, and you must see him LIVE in order to truly appreciate him!

Darren's Listen Up concert was unbelievably amazing! I had VIP so I had a front-row view. Charlene was incredible as per usual, and I'd never seen Theo before so I was blown away by his talent - he was rocking so hard he broke 2 guitar strings! And of course...the main event. Now I've seen Darren perform 3 other times, though never in his own show. And I've been a huge fan of his music since his YouTube days...but I was blown away by the experience of seeing him live. He sang every song with 110% of his heart and soul, and every time he spoke to the audience you could just feel how genuine he was. Darren may have a huge range of talents, but he is a musician at heart and that concert proved it. Going to this concert was one of the best things I have ever done!

Darren Criss is literally one of my favorite performers of all time. I'm a really big Glee/ Darren fan so when I heard he was having a show I had to go. I also had the pleasure of Meeting him, he is by far the sweetest celebrities I have ever met. He introduced himself to me and held out his arms for a hug, not alot of celebrities are like that so it was refreshing. His show was amazing, he sang some old stuff from his 'Human' EP, some new stuff and covers. I might have shed a tear when he sang ' Teenage Dream', let me tell you, the boy has talent. If he ever does a tour again, I suggest you to check him out! It's def worth the money! Darren will not disappoint you!

Darren is a true performer. I was fortunate enough to attend 4 of his Listen Up shows and my only real complaints were about the venues. I honestly don't know what to say other than the hour and a half of his performance, each time, flew by. The band was amazing (Theo, Tomek, Joe). Darren jumped from dancing pop star, to guitar to piano, to drums to tamborine, without missing a beat. Thoe Katzman, his opening act, is well worth seeing on his own. I couldn't believe how talented he was. You'd think seeing 4 shows would make it boring, or at least repetitive, but that's why I say he is a true performer. There were even songs he did slightly differently each night, never mind the unique tune each night. They were unforgettable experiences and I cannot wait to see him again.

Darren Criss is an amazing talent and fantastic showman. This show was the last on his 16+ city tour, and his energy was so high-- I really don't know how he does it. He came out of the gate with a Circle of Life, then rolled right in to some original songs\u2014 rocking the house and had the crowd right in the palm of his hand from the start! The setlist was pretty polished by the time the tour got to Silver Spring-- they'd worked out the kinks and found little moments they could play with and jam-- and this show Darren took the time to showcase his musician friends and their mad skills individually several times throughout the show. This crew definitely enjoys performing together and that camaraderie only enhances the concert experience-- infusing it with a sense of creativity and fun that I felt privileged to be witness to. Darren can totally own a straight up, hard rocking, full band support song like Stutter, but he really shines when its just him and his guitar or the keyboard. He sang Otis Reading's "Bring It On Home To Me" during what he called his stripped down "coffee house set" with such soul and feeling. The very best part of the concert for me though, was getting to hear Darren talk about music and crack jokes between songs. He has a talent for being able to take an unexpected thing (instrument malfunction, audience reaction, etc) and bend it and make it work, always with a gracious and self-depreciating good humor. My whole family enjoyed this show very much, me, my husband, my teenage daughter, and even my youngest who would never deign to describe herself as a "fangirl" was completely taken by Darren's amazing performance. Anyone who has the opportunity to see Darren perform live should jump at the chance!

While I'm still a little miffed at the venue for not letting us in a few minutes early when it started to monsoon outside, I can honestly say this was one of the best shows I've ever had the privilege to attend. The opening acts were incredible. They got the crowd excited and created the perfect concert atmosphere. When Darren first entered the stage, he did so with a gusto that sent crowd excitement levels through the roof. He has such an incredible stage presence. You can honestly see how the music just flows through him while he is performing. From his tripped down version of "Teenage Dream" to his poppier, up-tempo beats of his new music, his vocals did not miss their mark. They were excellent and on point. He loves what he is creating; not only does it show, but it is contagious. In short: he put on an amazing show. I'd highly recommend seeing him in concert. He's a quality performer and you will not be disappointed. (My only hope is that meet and great vip tickets would be made available to the fans through a different provider.)

The headliner was awesome, showing great energy and commitment to giving a good show. Lots of the new songs have great pop potential. Theo Katzman was also good, if not quite as charismatic as Darren Criss. I would have liked to see more of the opening act--Charly and Margaux? I loved what I heard of their strings, but it took the venue a full 40 minutes to get through the line after opening doors at 7, so I only heard the last two songs.

Criss puts on a great show! His opening acts were brilliant , especially Theo Katzman. After every song you get thanked and Darren leaves no one out of the show! The venue was an alright choice, very crowded- but what do you expect from a sold-out show? Also, how the concert went was Deluxe and Regular Vip ticket holders went in first, then it was the venue's pass the line holders and then GA- Us GA holders got left in the rain and came in soaked due to the Fillmore being late in opening the doors. The overall experience was awesome but I did expect more on the venue side of things.

I love it when performers play their own insturments: Darren played the guitar, piano, and even drums!!! Darren is a genuine performer, who puts his heart and soul into his music. Aside from the fact that the fans for stuck in the rain, the entire experience was amazing. The show began with the violin playing duo, whose name escapes my mind, but their talent doesn't. Then Theo K. rocked the pre-show. I have honestly never liked a pre show as much as I enjoyed this one, not only is Theo talented but also really down to earth. I'd definitely become a fan. And then there was Darren. There are honestly no words. That man rocked that stage like he was born to do it. His new songs are extremely catchy and fun. Through the entire show Darren kept thanking the audience for their support in true Darren fashion, and kept the show going with amazing new songs, and the coolest renditions of our favorite Darren Criss songs.

The Fillmore was a great and intimate venue that allowed for an amazing concert experience. For only $20 we upgraded our general admission tickets to balcony seats to the left of the stage for a great view. The staff at the venue were wonderful. Lines outside were organized....the only negative comment was the fact we had to stand out in torrential rain until they opened the doors (late). Darren was amazing as usual and even came out after the show to take picture and sign autographs.

This was honestly one of the best concerts I've been to. I was completely happy with it and was speechless after it ended. He always puts on a top notch performance and his voice is impeccable. Can't wait until he releases an album! The opening acts were amazing also. I love Charlene and Theo.

Darren's show was everything I hoped for and more! I was used to seeing his acoustic performances online but seeing him live doesn't even compare. By himself or with a full band he gives it his all! Though he was sick, you wouldn't have known it, he was full of energy and engaging with the crowd through the whole set. And what a great instrumentalist, jumping from guitar to piano, even tambourine and drums. Just overall a phenomenal songwriter, musician and performer. Will definitely see him again! Varsity Theater is a great venue. We had mezzanine seating and it couldn't have been better. Can't wait to see another show there.

People most often know Darren Criss from his role playing Blaine in the TV show, Glee, but he is truly a man of many talents. When I learned he was to headline his own solo tour in Summer 2013, I knew immediately that I had to see a show. I got my chance in Houston on June 4th, and was also lucky enough to snag a VIP M&G from Adventures In Wonderland, despite their initial server crashes during the unanticipated site traffic of the presale. Meeting him before the show was wonderful. I only had about 20 seconds with him total, to take a picture and interact with him, but he took such care to make everyone's experience as personal and individual as possible. He pulls his fans into tight hugs and is so open and friendly. He makes it clear that he genuinely appreciates his fans' support and attendance. It's touching to see such a genuine guy have such success! The performance itself was AMAZING. Seeing Darren do his own show, and his own music, was an incredible experience! He sang old songs from his EP, "Human," numbers from his work with his musical theatre group, Team StarKid, and of course "Teenage Dream" from Glee, as well as originals that can be found throughout YouTube and the rest of cyberspace. Also, he performed new originals that could potentially make the cut for his upcoming album. I had a blast seeing him play and sing and interact with the crowd. Seeing Darren perform is a truly unique experience because Darren is such a unique person and performer who leaves a profound, lasting impression on his audience. If you have the chance to attend one of his concerts, I would recommend a Darren show a thousand times over. You will not regret it!

Darren Criss is the most charismatic musical genius I've ever had the pleasure of getting to witness live. He is so energetic and into the music - but not in a cocky way - and it makes the audience very relaxed and pumped up! You can tell how much he loves his fans simply by how he talks to them from the stage and how much eye contact he makes. And the MUSIC is simply fantastic! He showcased many new songs from his upcoming album, but he also managed to squeeze in several of the classics that most of his fans know pre-Glee. These included songs from his self-produced EP "Human" as well as from Team Starkid musicals and everything in between. If you want to see a show that will change your life, go see Darren Criss perform live! He's SUCH a rockstar!! And as a side note, his opening act (and really good buddy) Theo Katzman rocked the house! His ear for music is incredible, and he's also really good at connecting with the audience. This was a tour not to be missed!

The standing room only part of the concert was probably my least favorite, however I like the fact of how close you could get to the stage in doing so. Despite having to stand in the same spot for three hours like a bunch of packed sardines, once the music started all the worries about what others were doing dissolved. The opening act, Theo Katzman was really good and he really got the ball rolling as to what kind of concert it was going to be. He really got the audience jazzed up and the music was great, albeit a little loud, but hey, it's a concert, right?! :D The best part, of course, was getting to see in person the many talents of Darren Criss. He really did a great job of pulling the audience in and not just singing, but actually talking to us. I loved him reminding people that even though we're all cramped for the next few hours to please be kind and courteous to one another. For the most part, every body was. The music was amazing, of course. Loved getting to hear some of his new songs as well as some older ones. I loved getting to be in his presence and finding out that he really is all he's cracked up to be and more. I've been a fan of Darren's since only April of last year, when I started watching Glee, but I've come to love him in even that "short" amount of time. I wish I could say I knew of him back in his Starkid days, but I am so glad that I know of him now and he's my favorite artist so I was so pleased to be able to see him in concert. Thank you, Old National Centre for having him perform at your venue. It was the chance of a lifetime. Well, hopefully you'll have him back again. I will definitely come again. Many thanks.

I had standard VIP, so I had priority entry, and a M&G with him. I met him before the concert, then went and got my spot for the concert. Theo and Darren were both amazing. Seriously the best night of my life. The show was just amazing and I still can't believe it happened. And all of his new songs were fantastic. I got to meet Theo after the concert, and that was amazing as well. Just an overall amazing night.

Darren is an amazing performer and this show was fantastic. I was in the back of the venue and still could see pretty much everything and everything he played was phenomenal. I loved the mix of his old work and his new singles. Just beyond amazing and this probably was one of the best shows that I have ever been to.

Darren was fucking amazing!!!! Every single song was spot on perfection!!! The venue only held 450 so everyone was very close to him!!! During the show he sang a song suggested by a fan, he also brought another on stage with him to be serenaded to "Picture Perfect Girl". While each and every one of his songs was perfection I must say stutter was my absolute favorite because you can feel the passion darren is exuding. Darren single handedly made the entire ventue scream and dance even though we were all exhausted from the long line we waited in (I waited ten hours but it was totally worth it because I was only four rows back!!!) after the show, WHICH WAS SERIOUSLY ABSOLUTELY PERFECTION FLAWLESS, AMAZING, EVERYTHINNGG GOOD, the fans formed a line by Darren's bus probably 300 of the 450 waited about three hours on him to come out and BELIEVE ME IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!! Darren made his way down the line signing and hugging and even having intimate moments with each of his fans by asking them questions he genuinely wanted the answers to. OVERALL DARREN IS AMAZING AND NOTHING WILL EVER TOP HIS HUG OR THAT NIGHT!!!!!!

You would think being crammed in a small room with about 500 people wouldn't be enjoyable, but I could not have imagined it any other way. First off, I had a VIP meet andd greet I was so nervous I barely said anything to Darren but he is so sweet and so gorgeous it's UNREAL. THEO KATZMAN was UNBELIEVABLE. I honestly didn't know much of him before but I was awestruck by his voice. Pure perfection. I would pay any amount of money to see him live again hopefully one day on his own solo tour! AMAZING. DARREN CRISS words can't describe how long I waited for this moment. I was the fourth row dead in center and it was perfect. He sang his heart out and left everything on stage. That man is incredible. Talented in everything he does! I'm still amazed at how wonderful he is live. Just perfect. I cannot wait to hopefully see him again one day. There was no disappointment. They were GREAT. Anyone yet to see them on this tour you're in for a treat, and the night of your life! LIVE IT UP, It goes by too fast!

To be quick, I had VIP passes, so after our meeting and photo op, I made my way into the room, which was the smallest stop on the tour. I was right up against the barrier, slightly to the left of Darren. His opening act, Theo Katzman, was amazing, as he always is. His songs are so infectious, you seriously need to YouTube him ASAP. Darren came on after, and as always, was quite spectacular. He sounded great, he had fantastic energy, he played to the crowd, he interacted with the audience, and he didn't slow down a bit, which was what I was expecting since he's halfway through the tour and is probably exhausted. The only negative thing I have to say is that we did a lot of waiting and standing in a hot room, but that's a complaint against Adventures in Wonderland and the venue, not Darren.

This show was absolutely fantastic. Darren was really excited about this tour and it showed in his performance; you could tell he was really happy to be on that stage and he really wanted to put on a good show for the crowd. I may be biased because I am a huge fan of the guy, but it was a night I won't forget and left me looking up plane tickets to get to other tour stops (no, sadly I didn't book any of those; I have no money). If you have the opportunity to see him live, DO IT. You will not regret it. The opening acts were amazing as well and I have fallen in love with both of them.

Even though I had seen Darren perform the night before in Dallas, nothing prepared me for the amazingness that was Darren Criss performing at the House of Blues in Houston. The crowd was absolutely electric, though also incredibly respectable, jamming along with Darren as he performed. He definitely was giving the energy right back as he danced and sang around on stage. Multiple times his emotions were clear as a bell, and he was definitely having the time of his life..and as was I!

I was VIP for the concert, so there was a very short line compared to the GA line. Meaning the wait to get was no big deal, I got there and went in in about 10 minutes. I met Darren and it was the best day of my life so far, he was SUPER nice and so sweet and gave everyone a gigantic hug. Then he came on stage and he had the best energy ever, you might think that Darren Criss only appeals to girls but I brought my best guy friend with me and he had a blast. Darren is super talented and amazing as expected, he played the guitar, the drums, and the piano that night but he can play so much more. After the concert everyone was just buzzing with excitement because it was crazy awesome. I highly suggest you go. If you can't go, then youtube is your best friend. Just don't miss his performance!

So I went to the Darren Criss concert @ Irving Plaza on June 15th, 2011. I am a fan of Darren's music so I pretty much knew what to expect, but it was my first time seeing him perform live. His opening act was John West and he was very good. There was also a brief set by FOD (Friend of Darren) Theo Katzman which was good. Then Darren took the stage. He opened with "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan. The evening was a beautiful mix of standard DC numbers - 2 Disney covers, several of his original songs including some from Starkid Productions "A Very Potter Musical" and "Starship" and some special guests. His first guest were 5 members of the Warblers - otherwise known as Riker, Titus, Curtis, Jon, and Jamyz. They sang two of Darren's songs and a very nice version of "Teenage Dream". It was nice to finally get to hear these boys sing. Wish we got to hear their voices more often. Lauren Lopez from Team Starkid was also there to lend her voice as Draco Malfoy for a rousing audience participation version of "Back to Hogwarts" and "Granger Danger". The most surprising guest was Naya Rivera who plays Santana Lopez on Glee. She and Darren did a duet of "Valerie" and I hope put to rest any notion that Naya can't sing the song live. If there were any drawbacks, I guess it would be in the lack of seating. I knew that when I bought the ticket, but the reality of standing in a crowd of 1200 screaming fans was at times painful. The doors opened at 7:00 pm. John West didn't take the stage until after 8:00 pm. It was probably close to 9:00 pm when Darren started singing. That is a long time to stand in a crowd like that. Add in the fact that the minute Darren was on stage there was a huge push towards the front. If there had ever been an emergency in that room, it would have gotten bad fast. If I had to do it again I would pay the extra to be in the balcony rather than pay the extra to skip the line, which only secured me 3rd row standing room from the stage, even though there were only 15 people ahead of me in the original fast line. Skip the line except for VIP guests and a few other people who somehow got let in early. Also, the bar and the back of the concert hall had closed by the time the concert was over. After standing in that crowd for hours I was pretty dehydrated and would have welcomed purchasing a beverage of any kind. The bartender thankfully handed out cups of ice water than felt like heaven. Was it the best concert I've ever been too? Honestly no, but it was an unforgettable experience and if Darren ever does another concert in the New York area in a venue with seating, I will be there. Bells on and bubbles ready.

I am soooo excited for him! I am so glad he got on to Glee because he is now going to get the exposure he deserves! :) The concert was amazing he was very excited and lively. He only had an hour to preform for us so he squeezed in as many songs as he could and he did a amazing job with all of them. I hope I get the chance to see him again really soon. He was supermegafoxyawesomehott!! :)))
The crowd wasn't what I expected but it was comfortable and fun. Darren Criss and the host (who's name I can't recall right now) were absolutely lovely and hilarious! I laughed a good deal.
Not a good show. Very weak voice. Live you realize his talent voice was probably assisted by auto tune or multiple takes. Sorry he fished over Seth Rudesiki.
Darren Criss was charming, but not very memorable in this show. He was very humble, but did little to convince the audience that he actually deserved to be headlining a show of his own. He needed to do a little more "physically" with his singing. You would never have guessed that this was the actor/performer that the masses fell in love with on "Glee".
Good show. His voice was off most of the night up until the end. He looked great. Learning about him was great. And his choice of music was great HOWEVER, not well rehearsed and NO GLEE. After 90 minutes of "what he is doing now" Seth said, "we just have a minute to talk about GLEE!" My first thought was OH NO, 90% of us here want to here about GLEE, some GLEE songs, some GLEE stories, some GLEE anything. So for show, 7, but for GLEE content, ZERO. When Megan Hilty form Smash was here she talked about Smash. It was a great show. In conclusion however, I would not see him again unless he was putting on a show.
Seize any opportunity to see Darren Criss. He is beautiful and talented. From the way he interacted with his fans by the stage door after the concert, you can tell he has a good heart and cares about the welfare and safety of his fans. Television doesn't do his beauty justice. I stood 8 feet from him and can tell you he is absolutely gorgeous.
I have attended several of the shows that Seth has brought to Parker Playhouse the last 3 years. I would be really hard to compare Darren Criss's performance to say, Patti Lupone or Audra McDonald. The show as a whole was interesting but dragged a bit. It was clear that Darren was theatrically well trained and he admitted that musical theater was not really his preference. His voice is not that strong and well trained. He performed songs from obscure productions that were not well know. It's clear that he is a musical theater aficionado. Over all he is taking his time to really find his niche. Acting and writing music seem to be his ultimate goal. Basically it was a good introduction to Darren and what he's about. I think he does well when playing piano and singing his own material. .
Darren Criss is such a talent! He has an amazing voice, he is extremely charismatic and undeniably hilarious! This venue with Seth Rudetsky was something I'm glad I attended! Their chemistry onstage was remarkable.
Darren, his band, his guests & opening acts, his crew and his people were amazing. The performances were all that I wanted them to be. My only complaint (and my reason for the missing fifth star) was that there was no alcohol available for non-VIP people. At Roseland there was a bar-area that easily could have been closed off to minors, but I guess they figured it was better to make non-VIPs suffer the teeny-boppers in sobriety. Still, the performances -- especially Darren's -- were great and made me feel "drunk on life."

This is my second Darren Criss show. I saw him 2 years ago at Irving Plaza in NYC as well. I had a general admissions ticket both times. I feel like Roseland is too big for GA without at least a slight slanting to the floor - it was really difficult to see. Other than that the physical venue is nice and was thankfully nice and COOL which was very appreciated after being out all day in the sun. Charlene Kaye and Theo Katzman opened and were both great, lots of energy. There was a LONG wait between Theo and Darren coming on though. Like 35 minutes which is just unacceptably long. I think their may have been a sound issue, someone should have come out and given an explanation. When Darren DID come out he was great. Lot's and lots of charm and energy and when his mic wasn't screwing up and giving weird feedback, he sounded great. I'm really glad I went to the show. Darren is a wonderful performer who i only expect great things from in the future.

So he had two opening acts. My opinion that's boring. I came to see Darren Criss! I would accept one opening act. After a whole you're just tired of standing there and nothing to Darren but you want to go home. I think one act would have been perfect. I had the opportunity to stand in the VIP section. The only complaint is that there were inconsiderate people standing in front of me so most of the time I couldn't see. Actually the family I was standing next to left during Darren's performance. I'm also upset about how the Meet and Greet passes were sold. Other than that Darren was wonderful and I can't wait for his next concert. I hope it's not general admissions

Darrens show was fabulous! Theo Katzman opening was incredible, that man can move his hips and sing unbelievable notes! Darren is very interactive with his audiences and shifts from front man, to piano, to The Drums! The venue was okay. I didn't personally have any problem with the staff, but a twitter friend of mine got kicked out over a staff mistake. Sadly she missed the whole show. If you go in and want to drink make sure they know your not VIP because that was the problem.
