It wasn't a bad show by any means. I had fun. The soundsystem was decent (and surprisingly not too loud). I wish they would've played some older tracks and not recycled so many tunes. I think there were 3 or 4 songs that EACH DJ recycled from one set to the next. That smells of a setlist, or just advertising for the Dub Police label (understandable). The current climate is all about brostep so I was't surprised when all the mid-range wobble started kicking in. Again, not surprising but kind of disappointing. The DJ's feed off the crowd and this crowd wanted their wobble...what are you gonna do? There were some moments where the tracks started dabbling into electro house style...I didn't care for that at all. At least it gave me room to stop dancing while I waited for them to start spinning the good stuff. I recommend the show to anyone wanting to see what's up with the Dubstep craze or just go buckwild at a dance...but the discerning heads might find themselves disappointed. I should've gone to peep Truth a couple months back.

Opener D1 was great, cool sound. Subscape and Trolley ended up playing together, which was cool, but would have liked a full Subscape set, he's a great live DJ. didn't make too huge a difference though, they were both still awesome! Subscape did some amazing mixing and Trolley played sick banger after sick banger. Crowd at Paradise was....sparse. where was everyone? there should have been sooooo many more people at this show. Overall one of the filthiest concerts I've seen! Dub Police kills it!

The venue for the show was great, small setting and maybe 100 people attending, but probably less. D1 was decent, he didn't really do much to get the crowd pumped. But then Trolley Snatcha and Sub Scape played a joint set together and really got the people going. Some of the crowd wasn't very into it, but that can be the nature of this kind of music. Overall a great time, great sound, and banging tunes.
