Such a fun night. Typhoon is always so good and they have such a great stage presence. I had never been to the Teragram ballroom before and it was a perfect experience. I would definitely go back

I love their music anyways but being able to see Typhoon live was even better than imagined. They played some old, recent, and new material but in a way that completely flowed. It kept the audience's attention regardless of which album you were most familiar with. About 90% of the time I dislike it when bands play their songs differently live than they do on their albums but Typhoon kept it close enough to home with (honestly) some pretty amazing additions. It sounded so good and really emphasized their expertise in their field. If you get the chance to see them live, I highly recommend it!

Best live band I've seen in a long time. I don't know if they've played many spots larger than Webster Hall, but they seemed up to put on an extra amazing show for NYC

Typhoon killed it live! Really incredible music reproduced in an exciting engaging way! At times there are up to four people drumming. Kyle's voice is great live, all the instrumentalists are on point. After the show the band came down to the merch booth and chatted with, hugged, shook hand with and autographed albums for the fans

The best show I've ever seen. Hands down. Not only are LadyLamb and the BeeKeeper and TYPHOON really, really amazing live -- The Sinclair is a really great place to appreciate the music! We stood in the balcony area and had easy access to the bar right behind us. This was a sold out show but I didn't get jostled or stepped on. No drinks were spilled on me. No one was having shouting conversations over the music. It was just a really fantastic experience to enjoy the music with a crowd of people who were appreciating it and respecting as much as I was.

Typhoon was AMAZING! Truly, it was the best $12 I ever spent. The crowd was into it and the venue wasn't packed. This is a great up and coming band

I really wanted to like this band live, honest, but they just didn't come through for me. It's a 13 piece band that does mostly quiet, slow, subtle music. Beautiful stuff, and the album has grown on me the more I listen to it, so I was excited to see them. The live show was uneven, though. There isn't enough room on stage for anyone to be very active or engaging, and honestly, each of the performers had so much down time that I wondered why they think they need so many people in the band. To make matters worse, the air circulation in the venue was poor and the BO of the crowd was rank, which was a wee bit distracting. I will not go to see them live again. The openner, Lady Lamb the Beekeeper (a solo act), had a great voice and a unique style and engaged the audience well. She needs to work on her songwriting, but she's only 22 year old. She seems to have a whole lot of potential.
