I was not quite sure what to expect but the minute Little Anthony opened his mouth to sing I along with the rest of the audience knew that he still had that famous voice. Everyone so enjoyed the show. They were entertaining, funny, and really worked the audience. I would highly recommend seeing their show. It made it so convenient since I was staying at the Orleans Hotel and the show was right there.

We were celebrating our 55 Anniversary. I wore a Poodle, scarf around my neck with matching sweater set, and a "flower" in my hair--no longer have that ponytail. Had a wonderful time seeing & hearing the Imperials. Sonny Turner was the very best entertainer also. He does put on a great show. Especially enjoyed hearing the "Great Pretender"-- a nickname my husband was given by a "rejected" girlfriend back in the day.

This show was a little disappointing. The music was extremely loud and we were unable to hear the singers. Little Anthony has so many good songs and he sang only a few and one that few of us have ever heard. This was unfortunate, because we were really looking forward to this performance. By the way, Sonny Turner was fantastic. We would go back to see him again.

Sonny Turner (Platters lead singer) was brilliant! Little Anthony & The Imperials were simply terrible compounded by unforgivable technical audio problems. The horn section was mixed so loud that they completely buried the singers throughout the show. The singers made a number of inside jokes (how offensive). On one occasion they did opening dialog (history & set up) for the wrong song. The attempt at recovery to the proper setup was non-existent. They all thought it was funny. Again they chose to offend the audience. They sang some of their hits and a number of "cover" tunes that felt unconsidered. Little Anthony singing a Sting/Police tune...and poorly at that...wow. It seemed the sound men had never heard the Little Anthony show as they regularly missed solo cues completely. As a lifetime performer myself, I found the Little Anthony segment to be a disappointing train wreck.

They had a 9 piece band, so I had a feeling that it wasn't going to be anything like a doo wop show and I was right.. They did 7 covers and only 6 of their own songs, Most of the covers were good, but there were too many and not enough of their own songs. There was a very long version of some song that I had never heard and their grand finale was Police's Every Breath I Take, another major disappointment. They looked and sounded great and were very personable, but their entire show was appx an hour and most of the time were covers and most of the covers were not their type of music.

We were so excited & looking forward to a great show. Unfortunately, Little Anthony & the Imperials spent most of their time singing hits from other artists. Two of the backups were doing solos. In between the fluff, they sang just 5 of their own songs. Then Little Anthony started hawking his book. I can only thank God that they didn't pull that "audience participation" nonsense. Actually the opening act was superb. They were a group of older gentlemen from Newark, NJ called The Silver Stars. They were great & sang better songs an Little Anthony & the Imperials and for more entertaining. I'd pay to see (them) again.

From the Opening to the Closing...spot on, whether it was the song, the arrangement, or the singer. The Original's were just more developed than when they were younger! The additions fit in as they were there forever. Each singer was electric and talented beyond all means. I traveled from Connecticut to NJ to hear them and they were worth every minute of it. The venue was just perfect...small and intimate.

Little Anthony & the Imperials showed that after all of these years, they haven't missed a beat. Right from the opening number, the audience could tell that they were in for an enjoyable evening. Singing all of their hits and with some individual performances of other standards, the group was non-stop pleasure. It's as if the clock was turned back to decades ago. We went to the concert at The Resorts Hotel and Casino, in the Superstar Theater, in Atlantic City. The seating was first come-first seated based upon the section you purchased. We got there at 7:25 thinking we had plenty of time to get good seats for the 8pm show. Unfortunately the theater was already pretty well filled therefore we were "late" and ended up sitting to the far side of the stage but still close enough to enjoy the concert pretty unobstructed. Although Little Anthony was dealing with the flu, and claimed he couldn't hit his falsetto notes, you wouldn't have known if he hadn't told us. He sounds like he hasn't aged a bit and reached all the high notes, while singing his hits. His voice was clear and seasoned. Took us back! We thoroughly enjoyed the concert. It was a "bucket-list" item that could be "checked off"

It was certainly a thrill to see this group after so many years.And they did not disappoint.They hit the notes,pulled off fine harmonies,and captured most in the audience.I say most because there were some ill-mannered individuals who yacked constantly [I had to move since they ignored my repeated attempts to shush them];and many left early..Couldn't the theater put up a brief reminder on the screen to remind the audience to refrain from loud talking out of respect for those who wish to hear the entertainers? But back to this talented group who somehow defy the years.Anyone lucky enough to be there won't soon forget it!

I saw Little Anthony and the Imperials Saturday night at Resorts Casino. They put on a fantastic show packed with their hits as well as covers of some popular songs. The show kicked off with Little Anthony singing "All by Myself" the Eric Carmen hit song. I wish he would release this on a cd. Great rendition! The entire show was amazing as he hit all the notes of his hit songs to perfection. If you haven't seen them in concert you must go!

My 17 year old daughter has been listening to Little Anthony since forever. When I suggested we go because they were here in Sacramento (which was wonderful) we got tickets that very night. We both said "their voices may not be as good, but the show will still be good". Well we were wrong. Their voices were still great and the show was excellent. Just plain raw talent, like performers used to be. No smoke and lights ... just trained professionals that know how to sing and perform. The show was well put together, loved their attire :), loved their single acts, loved the oldies of course, but also loved the newer arrangements of other good songs. the newer Imperials are also very talented, and a good match. But can't tell you how nice it is to view raw talent, without all the artificial accouterments that cover up mediocre talent with seems to be prevalent in today's entertainers. Worth every dollar. Wish it would have been in a venue that was inside, but the weather was good. The audience was a bit of a nuisance with all their drinking and rowdiness about half way through.

I have always wanted to see Little Anthony and the Imperials. My dream finally came true! They were my favorite group as a teenager and they seemed to understand my emotions as a teen with the words of their songs. That comforted me. I was glued to my seat watching and listening to everything I could take in, to savor it. What a whirlwind of memories and good times. Little Anthony is still awesome at 76!

Three different musical groups; each performed for a total of 15-20 minutes each. A 45 -50 minute concert is half the time of most concerts. Also seating would have been better if the floor had been inclined and the rows alternating, as in most musical venues and theatres, rather than a flat floor with seats lined up one behind the other.

We had seen the show before and they always give a good performance. My only complaint was that the bass was way too loud! We could hardly understand the vocalists and my chest was pounding when he played it was so loud. As a music teacher I know a bit about balance and it was way too overpowering. I know the younger set really like a lot of bass, and actually I do too but this was over the limit and as I looked around, the average age was not the younger set. Just my opinion since you asked. But the talent was amazing and yes, I would go again hoping it was just a fluke since it wasn't like that the time before we saw them.

This is the second time in 3 years that I have seen Little Anthony and the Imperials at Belterra Casino in Indiana and once again was amazed at how awesome he along with the Imperials still sounded. Prior to 2011 I saw Little Anthony in Houston in 1964 when they were one of the hottest acts around. I grew up with their music from the early days and into the late sixties and their songs were part of my Viet Nam era military experience in the army from 1965-66. 'Take Me Back" "Hurt So Bad" just have so many memories for me that I cherish. Anthony still has the pipes and he is a true showman. I wanted more and would definitely see them again. The band was tight and the entire evening was remarkable. My wife became a real fan after seeing Little Anthony in 2011 since she is 20 years younger than me she always liked the music but did not realize how great they really were. Now she realizes that the group is legendary and one of the great groups of all-time.

The entire evening was sensational. Little Anthony and the Imperials really sounded fantastic. I was a little disapointed that only one of the Diamonds, performed. Other wise it was well worth the money for the performance.

I highly recommend this show. Little Anthony sounds as good, if not better than he did 45 or 50 years ago. They did their old music and some new music. I would like to see them come back to Wildwood next year.

I am a 39 year old who went to this concert with my sister, boyfriend and 18 year old daughter. We had so much fun. Little Anthony and the Imperials were FABULOUS! The Capris were incredible. It was such a fun experience. We can't wait for next year

The 50's concert was one of the best shows I have been to in many years. The groups all sang their respective hits, and after all, that is what we wanted to hear. Because those hits were the ones that the groups were famous for and that is why fans keep coming out to see them. Rock and Roll from the 50's and 60's will never die.

Our recent visit to Wildwood, NJ to the 50's weekend was great. All the groups did a fabulous job. Little Anthony & the Imperials were the best by far! We have seen them quite a few times. Each time is better. The only complaint I have is that the band music for each group that sang was too loud. Other than that.....50's music will never die!

Show was "Excellent" Fabulous!!!.....Convention Center in Wildwood NJ got " Wild and Rocked the HOUSE!!!" All the performance were excellent and funny at times with the comedic humor...... but Little Anthony and the Imperials were the "BEST"!!...FIVE STARS for this show ***** Show lasted from 7pm until 10:30pm with a 20min intermission..... Definitely price was right to see these performers...excellent seats...a little too close...cheek to cheek...on the floor seating..... but was center stage in section F.... Wouldn't pass up the chance to see....gave to my wife as part of our Anniversary to each other....she loved the show!!! Thanks to the Wildwood Chamber of Commerce for making this event possible.

What a great time we had hearing the sounds of the 60's all over again. I closed my eyes and heard the same voices hitting the same pitches, but now it was 45 years laters. Great voices never get old, and boy can these guys still move and perform. Greatest concert I've ever seen.

Loved the show. It was just long enough and they showed that they've still got it. But I will never sit in the front row (or 2nd or 3rd) again. The stage was so high that the back of my neck was sore the next day from looking up! I'm glad they came to the edge of the stage to perform, but with the height of the stage and the speakers, a lot of our view was blocked. Everyone who sat around us on the first row complained also. I'll attend other concerts there, but I'll find much better seating the next time!!

The magnificent performance of Little Anthony and the Imperials at Trump's Plaza was memorable excellence suspended in time. It was nothing short of amazing that their voices were as breathtaking as when we first heard them in the 1950's and 1960's. The power of their voices and harmony was enhanced by the showbiz sophistication that they display from many years of pleasing audiences. Their signature acapella selection shows that they still have the real stuff to thrill Jersey's "baby-boomers" like myself as much as they did during those shows at what we used to call "The Mosque" in Newark. As the East Orange High School Class of '65 gathers for its 45th Reunion, I am encouraging everyone to catch a show of Little Anthony and the Imperials! Bravo!

This was a show I was looking forward to. It certainly met all expectations! Little Anthony & The Imperials deserve a lot of credit. They performed non-stop delighting the entire audience. There wasn't a time throughout the entire show that your attention wasn't riveted on the antics & performance. And YES! Little Anthony can still hit those notes & carry those tunes just like yesteryear. I thank them for being who they are and what they are doing. I'm happy I was able to go & remember how it used to be. They truly deserved the standing ovations they received. Hope to see them again...............

MY WIFE AND I, HAD THE BEST TIME OF OUR LIVES AT THE CONCERT. OUR SEATS WERE UP FRONT, AND IT WAS LIKE WE WERE ON STAGE WITH THE GROUP. THEY SANG EXCELLENT, AND IT WAS LIKE BEING BACK IN THE 1960'S. LITTLE ANTHONY STILL HAS HIS AMAZING VOICE , AND THE IMPERIALS FILL OUT THE GROUP NICELY. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE SAW THEM IN PERSON. I AM REALLY GLAD THAT I PURCHASED THE TICKETS.

The show was great. Many advertised acts don't sound as good as you remembered them but Little Anthony sounds just as good as I remembered. As someone who is over 60 there are not many performers out there that can draw me to come and see them. If they are appearing in the area, I will always have a seat at the performance. Loved every bit of the concert.

Hard to beat this return to 1963.Little Anthony,now in his 70's,hit all the notes,and did all his great hits 'The Imperials were more than equal to the task of joining him with great harmonies and energy..If I had a complaint it was the fact that dozens of those in the audience left the theater while the group was still on the stage.Talk about a completely unjust demonstration of bad manners.

Little Anthony /Imperials was fabulous as usual. Very disappointed in Spinners and show was disappointing to say the least. Seemed like a Vegas lounge act. Bobbi Smith was advertised and did not perform He is heart and soul of Spinners. Should have called it SPINNERS REVIEW Feel somewhat scammed. T

Little Anthony still has great chops. The only thing that was missing was one Imperial. He unfornately was sick, so the harmonies were lacking a little. They also didn't perform Just Two Kinds Of People In the World (acapella) Not sure if Little Anthony can't hit the falsetto anymore or because one person was MIA. They still are worth the price and worth the time!
