The entire night was fantastic. To see young guitarist (students) perform on stage was inspiring. Then the jazz ensemble played by Barry Greene gave me renewed appreciation for the jazz style of play. Obviously the highlight of the evening was Tommy Emmanuel, it is possible that no other human past or present has every achieved the level of mastery over a guitar that Tommy has.

It is absolutely unbelieveable how he makes the guitar sound like a 4 man band. He brings such a fun and passionate stage presence that it makes him entrancing to watch.

By far the most amazing musical performance I have ever seen. Tommy Emmanuel surpasses your highest expectations. He makes his six stringed guitar sound like a full band. I've never heard or seen anything like it. The man is a genius. He becomes one with the guitar in every song he plays which renders you speechless and in complete awe.

Tommy Emmanuel is perhaps the best guitar player in the world. Not only can he play, he can entertain and connect with the audience. Amazing evening! I look forward to the next time he is in town. Barry Greene is also an amazing artist. A wonderful show.

The opening act were students from an area performing arts school. They did a great job. The senior act was a little lengthy, but overall very well performed. Barry Greene was super talented. However, the real star, of course, was Tommy Emmanuel. People like that occur once in a lifetime. I will never witness a more talented and entertaining guitarist. It was truly magnificent. Just when you think it can't get any better, he tops it! He either plays faster, adds "percussion" or even more difficult runs. He is a joy to watch. I love watching him play percussion on the guitar (and microphone) by beating and scratching them. It sounded like there were 10 people up on stage....not just one with only one instrument.
