There were approximately 8 cast members, half male and half female. None of them sounded or looked remotely like Johnny Cash. Hearing high voiced women singing several of Johnny Cash's most popular songs left lots to be desired. We could not believe the cast member singing Man in Black was not dressed in black ... but a dopey outfit that looked like it came from Fiddler on the Roof. We had never heard of two-thirds of the songs. The singers were not bad singers .. just not appropriate for the part. Rent a Johnny Cash movie or play one of his albums but do NOT go see this.

We expected a Johnny Cash impersonation, I guess, This was a musical retrospective with multiple players doing interchangeable parts, over four phases of Johnny's life. It was a musical production, with multi talented singing, dancing, costume changes and musicians. The players were very high energy; it was well produced entertainment.

I didn't think it was possible to destroy Johnny Cash, but this performance did that. It was like seeing the Disney / family version of him - that's not what he's about.

We saw this act at the Plymouth Playhouse earlier in the year and really enjoyed it so decided to get tickets again when it came to the BPAC. The performer who played the part of Minnie Pearl in Plymouth was not part of the act at the BPAC and that was disappointing to us as she was sooooo talented and hilarious. We do realize people come and go, but it is too bad this one did not stick with the act. We felt the choice of songs was better at the Plymouth Playhouse, but want to commend this group for singing the flag song,,,,.a great reminder to those that are so quick to be disappointed in America. They are a very talented group and if you like Country Music even just a little, you should enjoy this act.

This program was not what I expected. While the musicians were very talented I didn't think they protrayed the music of Johnny Cash as he would have done it. Most of his songs were there but played or sung in his manner.

Really enjoyed all the performers but the sound technician needed to do a better job. There were a few sound issues that shouldn't have happened if the sound tech had been doing their job correctly. The singers all did a fantastic job and the music was wonderful. Also enjoyed the narrative about Johnny's life and career.

All popular Johnny Cash songs were sung, and impersonator sounded very much like the real deal. He interacted well with the audience. Also, had female singer doing duets as June Carter. She was energetic, and OK as the voice of June Carter. Overall, it was a good show.

Don't expect a cover band or a Cash impersonator! These guys (and "June") perform The Man in Black's most famous (plus some obscure) music in a heartfelt, sincere tribute to one of the most musically influential men of our time They are all extremely talented musically and give a high-energy, 2+ hour performance. Once you come to terms that you won't hear an impersonation but rather a bangin' Cash tribute, you will have a blast!

This was much more than I expected. The cadence was very close to the Johnny Cash songs I know and there were a lot of them. The performers really enjoyed playing the music and brought the already enthusiastic audience to new highs. Just a very enjoyable evening of entertainment all the way around.

I took my 2 granddaughters to the Johnny Cash Tribute. They are 11 and 15 years old and big Johnny Cash fans. We sat in the front row. What a great time. The show was over 2 hours and we were whooping it up the whole time. I happened to catch Johnny Cash with the Highway Men in Atlantic City about 15 years ago and this show we saw last night was every bit as good. We would go see it again today if they were playing in the same place. We sure hope they return sometime soon. If you like Johnny Cash dont miss this show.

Lead singer did a great job singing songs by Johnny Cash. Classy group. The band was upbeat and seemed to really enjoy themselves which brings together the audience. They involved the audience well. 2 women went up onstage unanounced and were not treated harshly. The lead singer treated both women well. The food was great and reasonably priced.

Some songs were slowed down way too much, some were ok but you must be a hardcore Johnny Cash fan to enjoy.

Despite some of the comments other folks made about such things as Room Volume at intermission and starting late, some of these things are not in control of the band.. and for a concert hall it is to be expected. I found the band to be very engaging and interactive with the audience. Talk about personality! I felt like I was part of the show. This can be seen in videos I found on Youtube posted below. Many times the audience were on their feet and singing along! I suppose everyone has an opinion but there must be a reason these shows have sold out for last 3 years in a row. As far as the original song that was performed, the artist explained it was a song he wrote about discovering Johnnys Music and had even received a "stamp of approval" from the Cash Family. I loved it. Johnny didnt have a ton of popular hits that everyone knows but these guys did them all along with a nice selection of tunes for the die hard fans. You will certainly get your Moneys worth!

Group came on 25 minutes late - He sang a song he wrote - was there to hear Johnny Cash songs. Was disappointed that "June Carter's" participation was so curtailed.

the place was beautiful and our waiter was great. The prices a bit expensive.. I love johnny Cash and the band did sound like him however,.. the band did not at all mix with the crowd, talk to the crowd or anything .. not much of a personality.. just a look from the outside,, but sounded good.. Very enjoyable show. Music was just great although most songs were in a different key than you would have expected. There were times when words were forgotten, but overall a good value for the money. How can you go wrong with great music like this? Venue was comfortable, food was good, but cocktail prices were outrageous. Highly recommend the venue as there isn't a bad seat in the house but watch what you drink! Also, music during dinner and intermission was way too loud and did not lend itself to conversation. On the plus side, they did play old country to suit the genre of the audience. All in all, a wonderful evening out and would go back!

We really enjoyed Ring of Fire very much. Great show - about 2 hours of performance. Would have liked to hear more of Cash's biggest hits (isn't that what everyone really wants to hear?), and would have liked it if the venue turned the music down a little lower during the intermission so that people could talk with friends.

I thought the show was good. I brought my 9 and10 year olds and they enjoyed the performance and the food. It would have been better without the standin "June Cash". Overall we had a great night out!

This cover band was awesome! This was the closest I will ever be able to come to seeing the real deal and I am soooo glad I went! The band also brought on Lia Fox (I'm pretty sure thats her name) to sing some songs that Johhny and June had done together. It was amazing! I would reccomend seeing this group to any fan of the "Man in Black". I hope they come back to Showcase Live next year!

Event was very rushed, the move you out like cattle. Band only played for little over 1 hour and then the place moved out out for the next event. It was over by 930. We were just starting to have fun. Dont buy tickets to this place if your thinking this is the only thing your going to do for the night. Better bring $$$$ for he drinks!!!
