THE WHISKEY REBELLION

Compared to the Bacon & Beer fest that Eat Philly put on eariler in the year, this was a flop. The libations were served at the bar only, the food was tucked off into a tiny corner, there was little than beverage reps at the tables. Twelve tickets that got you less than 1oz pours, some half hearted hummus and sandwhiches slopped on a plate wasn't worth the ticket price and subsequent purchase fees. Did I mention the event started late and had ticketholders lined up on South Street? I won't be attending this event again unless they change the venue and re-work it.
