The play was funny through and through...filled with passion. But was spiritual. I just bought the DVD and plan to watch it again to see what I missed. I enjoyed the play very much.

The show was awesome, I enjoyed it from beginning to end and the best part was winning my pic with Mr. Chestnut. After my surgery this was the perfect ending to a speedy recovery and an unexpected win. I wish you all well in your remaining performances.

I really enjoyed myself at this play. The bestfriend character of Mrs. Summer was unforgettable and had me laughing until I gave myself a headache! I really enjoyed seeing Clifton Davis again. There was singing but it wasn't overly done. Overall the play was great.

I am a huge fan of Brian White so when I heard that he was going to be in this play and that it was coming to Orlando, I had to get tickets. And sure enough, I got seats in the very front row. The story itself is very well written and each of the actors bring the characters to life. At points during the show, you can feel the emotion of each character and it's because of the great acting by Brian White, Michelle Williams and Clifton Davis as well as the other actors. We laughed, we got emotional but most of all, the story makes you appreciate your relationship. I highly recommend this show to everyone!!

"What My Husband Doesn't Know," was a wonderful play. The entire cast was off the chart!!! Bravo!! Bravo!! Before I saw the show, I had a hard time picturing Brian playing a stalker, a back door man yes, but not a stalker. He was amazing, great performance. Michelle totally surprise me, she is so talented. Ann and Clifford were outstanding. Tiffany and Esua was funny, funny, funny. David chose the perfect cast for this play. I can't wait until the DVD is release, I want some more of Paul!!!!

This play not only shows reality of how we get consumed in life and pleasure and at times forget to live off moral, but it also conveys a Strong Message!! I guess I expected more from this play. I felt it was too short and the story line was ok. The best part was Falana (Tiffany Haddish), she made the play. Without her I would have given this a -Star. The singing was pleasant. My guest felt the same way I did about the play being ok, with higher expectations from this playwright, having seen his previous plays. I love Morris Chestnut, but I didn't think he was the highlight either and that is saying something because he is a gorgeous hunk of a chocolate man.

This play was extremely well written and acted. A stellar cast made this definitely worth the price of admission. Ann Nesby has an amazing voice and it was a pleasure to see/hear her perform. The message/morale was well delivered without being preachy. The musical numbers were perfectly placed without being overdone. There was just enough comic relief without crossing the line to ridiculous. And the set was amazing. Well done Mr. Talbert, well done. So glad I had the pleasure of attending.

Fantastic Cast! Excellent play, definitely worth the ticket price. The cast was kind enough to stay after and sign the programs for us. I would definitely attend another play by David E. Talbert & company. One thing is be careful of the seating at the Spreckels theatre. The bottom seating (orchestra they call it) ends with the "U" Row and the rest of the seats are upstairs. I had a seat in the "U" section and it is the same level at Row "T" and not staggered like the rest of the theatre, so it is hard to see over/past/around the heads of the people in front of you. But you can standup I guess but really some of the worst seats in the house.

I decided this event would be nice to get my girlfriends out of the house. I haven't seen a play in quite some time and this one drew me in just from the title. I didn't want to know more so that I could be surprised. I truly enjoyed the show. I wish I would have won the opportunity to meet the cast, well Morris Chestnut, afterwards, but I didn't :( Besides that, I would highly recommend this play to everyone I know.

The storyline didn't quite make sense. While the cheating wife thought that she had killed her lover, it took the admission of her father (minister) for her to find out that "Will-Kill-Son" had actually done it in "self defense." That leap of faith in understanding left a lot to be desired in the storyline. Otherwise, the play was entertaining.

I always admire a book, movie, or play that comes full circle! ~ WIth a twist, it did just that!! Id like to see the play done without prominent actors/entertainers ...to see if I can pick up on all the layers of this production. ~ who wouldnt get distracted that close to Chestnut!!! "Falana" aka Tiffany Haddish was a trip!!! I will follow (twitter) Haddish!! I really enjoy theatre and arts, however this play was bland and some what boring. Michelle was funny from time to time i think she thought she was alone on stage without an audience, morris was eyecandy, but even his lines were short. i think he was the reason most people purchased tickets to the play, music ok i was not impressed, the message well it didnt hit hard as some plays from the past. i think this script was thrown together and no series thought put into what the audience may think once reviewing the play. i so apologize if I seem very critical but after 20 years of plays you would think they would get even better with time. this one was a flat line

My husband and I attended the play as a way of celebrating our 16 year wedding anniversary. My husband is not an artsy type of guy but he and I truly enjoyed the play. I loved how it started with what we thought was the end first and then caught us up. The end had a great twist and it was totally unexpected. The stars were heavy hitters and all were believable. Morris Chestnut as the plumber ws phenomenol!!! I enjoyed every single actor!!! Each actor had their special moments and I can't see the play without one of them.

Really enjoyed this play as it was great acting, great music, very funny and just very enjoyable. The only thing I would say is that is was often hard to understand the actors when they were speaking if there was music playing as well. In addition, it was truly difficult to understand the words of the singers when they were singing their parts due to the acoustics. Other than that, it was a great and enjoyable event!

I do my best to support the Arts and try to see most stage plays that don't receive as much attention as high-profile, Broadway-originated productions. This, coupled with the fact that this showing was in Long Beach, which doesn't happen often enough, meant I surely had to attend. I invited a friend and prepared for a night of another typical stage play, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. The story was interesting, easy to follow and captivated the audience; even adding suspenseful twists throughout. I actually forgot it was a play because it was more like a really good, big-screen movie. Kudos to David E. Talbert and the cast for offering a pleasant alternative to the typical stage plays. This is a definite must see!

Yes it was an awesome stageplay. You have to go see it when it comes near you. Caramel and chocolate ....I think I have a cavity. Hehehehehehe! Michelle Williams was great. I wish I could play her part. Hahahahaha... you have to see it to find out why. Brian White delivers a very believeable performance as a bad guy even though it is difficult for me to wrap my mind around any negativity from such a positive person. Morris Chestunut nailed the strong, hard-working and devoted husband. You know Ann Nesby sanged. The rest of the cast- Clifton Davis(The voice of reason), Chloe Spencer(up-coming local talent), Tiffany Haddish and Esau McGraw (Funny and Hilarious Comic Relief) gave great performances! The major theme was nicely delivered. I will definitely becareful of grocery shopping on an empty stomach. :) Thank you David Talbert and the cast for a great show.

It was funny.. But, I think that the storyline was slow.. could have been a bit more exciting.. The funniest character was comedian/ actress Tiffany.

I thought the play was a rather good one. Nice length of time and great characters. The humor was the best part. I was picked to take a photo with one members of the cast. That was totally amazing. Thanks David!

The play was amazing. The acting was very good. The plot was excellent as well, I'm sure there were a lot of uncomfortable married women there with their husbands lol.

To be honest, I was disappointed with this play, particularly after reading all the raving reviews that had been posted. I did like the plot and the way it was presented. However, the actors/actresses were not convincing enough for me in their roles, except for Clifton Davis and Ann Nesby. My husband and I saw the play at the Modell Performing Arts Center at the Lyric and the sound was AWFUL. The only person we could hear clearly was Clifton Davis. For the others, we had to stretch our ears to hear what they were saying. On top of that, I could not believe the Modell would allow people to come into the play 30 - 45 minutes late; thereby, interrupting the view of those who arrived on time. There needs to be a policy in place for this, However, sticking with the review of the play, the singing definitely needs to improve and the actors/actresses (less Clifton) need to do a better of job of convincing the roles.

I was really disappointed in this play, It was the worst ever. It was boring. There were only four songs performed the whole play. I would like to receive my money back, but David E Talbert will not answer my facebook or twitter request

They kept you laughing during the entire time and when things got serious, the actors had you on the edge of your seat.
