Eli Young Band

First time seeing Eli Young Band & we had a great time!! Hope to see them again in the future! Great vocals, performance & lots of audience interaction!

The venue was great and the warm up bands were so much better. Drake White was really good and the best of the three performers. But Eli Young Band was a disappointment. We left after the third song. And we weren't the only ones. No entertainment from the band at all. They stood there and just sang and the instruments were so loud that you couldn't hear the vocals. Not a complete waste of my money but close.

Great venue at The Pageant and a super line up. This show was a birthday present for my daughter and she loved it. LANCo, LoCash & Eli Young Band kept the energy high right up to the last song!

Fantastic!!! The girls and I had an absolute blast! If you ever get the chance, take it! These guys are all worth it!!!! Thanks to the "Boss" & his security guys at the club too!!!

Anytime I get to see the Eli Young Band it is great. And I had not ever listened to the Locash Cowboys so they were a pleasant surprise. The opening act, whose name I can't remember were way too inappropriate for an all ages show. Language and obscene jestures. Jaron and the long road to love just seemed out of his elelment.

Jaron rocked the house. LOCASH COWBOYS are awesome in person.

the sound was horrible. you couldnt understand half the words and my seats were right behind a big column couldnt see what was going on or hear it!

I always love watching them play. I didnt like the step up of the venue. I wont go back for a concert at billy bobs. But never missed a show to see eli young yet.

It was good and I didn't mind having the large crowd and standing to watch the concert, but the bar was way too understaffed to handle the turnout

This band has rocked since the first show I ever saw... The guys are great, very personable, and they love to perform. The music was awesome - great new stuff! Can't wait til the next show!

Show was cancelled and it would have been nice to receive an email on Friday before we went to venue and found out it had cancelled

All 3 bands were great...Six Degrees West, the Scott Ford Band and the Eli Young Band. It was WAY too crowded (it was a sold-out show) and the crowd was not a good crowd...people were rude, pushing people aside, shoving their way to the front. I've been to many shows at smaller venues like the Beaumont Club and never experienced a crowd like this. We got so tired of it, we ended up standing on some stairs at the back of the club so we could see, but be away from everyone! After that, we enjoyed the show so much more!

They were AMAZING... would watch them anytime they are around.

the Eli Young band ROCKED!!!!!!! this was actually the first time i have seen them in person and their concert was amazing.

Band was Great!!!! Though I wasn't impressed with waiting outside in the freezing cold though. Beaumont Club.......fix that.

This was my 3rd time seeing EYB this year, at different venues in Missouri. The Beaumont was definately my favorite!!! The guys put on a great preformance playing some of the hit songs from level, and jet black and jealous and also some of their new songs off the upcoming album. Security at Beaumont could have been bumped up a notch, there was a lot of people that got there at 8-830 for great spots and people coming in last minute pushing them out of their spots, and fights starting. I have been to plenty of standing room only concerts but usually there is security up front, i saw none! None the less it didnt take away from Mike Eli's amazing vocals and the rest of the bands musical talents!!! Come back soon!!!

I've been following EYB since their start about 10 years ago. I've seen them at least 10 times. This was the BEST show they've ever put on!

Great concert given. They put on a great show. If they come back I will surely attend the event again. The opening bands did great to open up for them.

Eli Young Band was fantastic! They sounded better live than over the radio, were greatly entertaining, and put on a fun show!! I loved how humble and excited they were- I would and WILL see them again!

The house was packed! The costume party was a great draw and made the night atmosphere-wise. Eli Young Band is a great group, one on my list of bands to see, and I'm so glad I pick Grizzly Rose to see them! Very intense!

This is a great venue to hang out, have some beers, listen to some music, dance a little, and get some great people watching in. I would not recommend it if you are just going for the concert. The sound system is not very good and only gets worse when you get closer. You also can't see the main stage too well unless you're close and tall.I liked that they played my favorite song "Small Town Kid" as the encore...it kept me there all night.

EYB was great!! They had a lot of energy. I would recommend anyone seeing them!!!

Was not as good as expected. Not sure if it was him cutting away from the mic or some type of malfunction, couldn't hear the words on most of the songs sung very clearly. The one's that were heard clearly were great. However, would very much like to see again.

Nice venue but for the price I fully expected at least a couple hour show. This thing was over in 70 minutes start to finish. I go to a lot of concerts and never been to one with paid admission that was so short. No opener or anything. Disappointing

The show was great. The band sounded awesome and the venue was really small. Only thing, show time was only 1.25 hours. I'm glad we went but not sure I love the ticket price for a 1 hour show.

Enjoyed hearing some of the new songs as well as their classics!. Really loved the performance and energy of the band members!

Staff including Katlin, Shawn and bartender Tracey made this a special night. Awesome venue with good acoustics and great interior.

I have listed to their music for years but was so disappointed that the classics i planned on listening to were not played. Between my girlfriend and I, we knew 1 song the entire show. It was quite the let down.

Civic theatre was a little smaller than usual places I see concerts.. Made for a better experience.. Eli young band put on a great show...Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott (a great place!!) Akron is improving!! Check it out

The sound system was really bad. Even worse for the opening act.

All the bands were good. Eli Young is very talented. Seen them several times and they put on a great show.

Arrived early enough to see three of four opening acts, they were pretty good. Eli Young Band was great, played a handful of new releases and a good mix of familiar songs, stage show was pretty good and sound quality excellent for an outdoor event. I think attendance may have been low, crowd never really got into it, but overall we enjoyed it. To the negatives, advertised as $20 if you bought early, then stacked with fees bringing it to almost $30, it's just dishonest. Food vendor pricing was way high for what you got, the weather may have been unseasonable, but there weren't many "dinner" choices for a show running late afternoon through the evening. I don't think a no re-entry policy is appropriate for a six hour long show.

We loved the music. The venue was terribly disappointing. First, the ticket time said the gates opened at 3. No one was admitted in until almost 3:30. Second, we brought chairs as was suggested on the website of the event. Once we got to the VIP section we were told we wouldn't have our chairs. Most folks had chairs for the VIP section. We decided to stay and have our tickets downgraded to regular admission. I was glad to be able to have this as an option. The field at the fairgrounds had many places that were nothing but red mud. In addition, the fairground field was covered with dog poop. My expectation would be that something could be done to prepare the field for a crowd since many people brought blankets to sit on. The vendors also indicated their frustration. One food vendor told me he had been there since 2pm. He indicated he was told to be there then. I will NOT be back to this venue. It was hands down the worst venue I have ever attended. I only gave it three stars because the ticket price for all the bands was awesome. Better communication and organization would have made all the difference!!

Awesome concert really enjoyed the bands and entertainment.

Great show from beginning until the end. The openers were equally as great as headliners.

I am a Texas-Cali kind of gal and this band is my most FAV!!!! Born and raise California, But lived in east texas and part of my family is still there. Love the Texas music and this is my band!! You need to see them and just let go and have a great time. This band is soooooo worth you time and money well spent.

The performance was flat and essentially phoned in.

This was my second time seeing them and he just sounds so bad live. Nothing like the recorded songs. It was embarrassing. Reminded me of karaoke. The bands before them were super good. People started leaving really early because it was so bad.

Drake white 5 stars a thousand horses 5 stars, the venue always amazing, Eli young band, we left after two songs, the sound was terrible, Idk if that was him or the sound guy but definately bad enough to get up and leave, and we were in the majority, more people leaving than staying.

Band was great. Nice to see Texas country in Tahoe. Seen them multiple times when living in Texas. Venue needed to restrict access to the stage area of seats to ticket holders. We didn't pay to get stomped on nor hear bad singing from the crowd that was louder than the band.

I this was my 20th EYB show and they absolutely nailed it! The energy and camaraderie they have on stage is like nothing ive ever seen! Everyone should go see them at lease once!

Great Concert! This was the second time I've seen the Eli Young Band and they were fantastic again. They played some new music off their upcoming album... it was good stuff! They played about 15 songs total.

I don't know if Eli Young was sick or drunk but this was my fourth time Seeing them and it sounded so bad we couldn't even enjoy it all. Honestly the money for the tickets should be refunded. The bands before sounded great so you can blame the sound system.

EYB sounded very different live and not in a good way.

Concert was supposed to start at 7pm... first band didn't come on until well after 8. Eli Young Band didn't take the stage until close to or right at 11pm... wouldn't have been that big of a deal if it hadn't been a Thursday night and people had to work the next day. They sounded awful and off key- can't blame it on sound guys because the previous 2 bands didn't sound bad. They opened with "new" songs that nobody knew. After waiting hours it would've been nice to hear a couple songs we actually knew.

Eli Young band was very entertaining! Very impressed!

Great bands. Too long of lines to get drinks for the price of the tickets.

The concert was amazing, you could hear them very clear and he even had his daughter with him and had his daughter come on stage with him. The people that helped with the seating were awesome. I had called and they had told me there was no longer handicapped seating left, so I had to buy regular seating tickets in the balcony. Since I am disabled and have problems walking, the people there said there was handicapped seating available, so she let us sit there. I applaud the staff there.

The concert was amazing the venue was really strict on when the band would call us to the stage to have fun, they made us sit back down after the song but all in all it was an amazing concert they sounded wonderful and they really put on a good concert!

Pat Green and JAB were awesome and sounded great. EYB sounded good too, but I wish they would've talked less and played more music. They spent about as much time talking as they did playing songs.

The concert itself was pretty awesome and the guys were really nice. Only thing I didn't like is the fact that here we are five days later and still no sign of our meet and greet pictures.

I have been an Eli Young Band fan for a long time now! Being that they graduated from my alma mater, The University of North Texas, I have always wanted to see them live!! They sure proved me right! I knew they would be great but I didn't know how interactive they were and I absolutely loved that!! They rocked hard while connecting with the audience! They are a genuine good time!

On a chilly winter night, Eric Paslay did a hell of a job warming up the crowd. Eli Young Band didn't dissappont. They rocked through some old songs, some new songs, and even a couple of cover songs. I love Sokol for its nostalgic retro feel. However, parking is horrible - the lack of sufficient bathroom facilities is pathetic. Drink prices were reasonable, although $4 fireball shots, while smart for a country concert, probably 'fired up' the two fights I saw.

Enjoyed band and venue. It was a little too loud at times. And I hate when anyone, especially girls who talk the whole time and tall people push their way up to the front. They are sooo rude.Get there early if you want the front line.

Ths josh abbott & eli young band concert was amazing !! Even though it was cold , it was a great experience & the turn out was great . I was in the very front . Couldn't ask for anything kore for my birthdsy weekend.

The bands performance was amazing as well as Jr Hodges, there opening act!

Packed house very enthusiastic crowd. Loud sing alongs with the Bands. New Country is quickly gaining popularity with all age groups. Excellent show for the cost of the tickets. No problem with the general admission no seating, I'd rather stand for a show like this anyway. Top all that off with the best location I've ever watched a concert from in my 55 years. Never have I been at the edge of a stage for a show. It was amazing to say the least. Got incredible pics from this show. Very happy all around

Eli Young is fabulous live, whether can you see them or just hear them! They are one of my favorite bands to see in concert! I liked how the played a balance of their new stuff and their classics. The only negative thing I can say is that the concert was sold out and there were soo many people, it was insane!

This was an awesome show. Not a big surprise from these guys.

to be honest i had never heard of the band before but we wanted to go to BIlly Bob's for New Year's Eve and so it was and we are glad we went. The Band was great so was the crowd.

Great job! not a lot of fancy lighting or other stuff - just pure music and entertainment. The band kept it going for over 90 minutes and had new material, mixed/mashed in some covers and had some killer solos.

I've waited years to see Eli Young Band. I was so disappointed between the lead singer being hoarse to the awful sound system and graphics. We ended up walking out about 45 min into the concert.

Went mostly for something to do, but ended up having a good time. Fun band to see live. Great musicians and then did a couple fun covers as well. Would recommend.

So this was my first experience in the Cone Denim EC, I cannot say enough about how great the sound was. That is also one of the best laid our venues around. We did have great seats, but the vibe was so cool there, oh and I did I mention the sound... Now as for EYB - I have seen them about 5 times, everything from an opening act to headlining the state fair, to headlining other venues. I love their music period. All their music, particularly the early days. But at this show, they played not less than 4 cover songs in their set. I mean don't get me wrong, they did a great job with the covers, but they could have played 4 songs from their past - Skeleton's, Small Town Kid, Every Other Memory, heck even groove out on Old Man's Son. Or play another off the new album. Fact is they are a great band with a great sound and they write great songs, there is just simply no need to play anyone else's.

Loved the concert. Got to meet the guys and it was so exciting. Been waiting a long time to see them and they did not fail!

The show started promptly at 7:00pm and ended promptly at 8:10. The shortest concert I have ever been to. Don t go to the bathroom. When they played they were really good but wow that s a quick in and out. For the money I m gonna need a little more time !

This was my 2nd year attending. The bands were fantastic and the sound was good. Zane Williams, Eli Young Band, and Turnpike Troubadours played. Had a great time. Lots of room to spread out at the venue and the crowd is laid back. You can get close to the stage to be close to the action, or you can get further away and be able to have a conversation because it is not too loud. Lots of people dancing and having a good time. They only have frozen Igloo margaritas and HEB chips and salsa. So come for for the music, not the margaritas or salsa! :)

The venue was beautiful, the band was awesome, and the twins at the desk of the hotel were amazing as well!

Was really looking forward to seeing Brett and Ryan and Easton! Boy was I happy! The guys were real and open and performed well. I loved the intimate stage setup, with several guys sitting together like at a coffeehouse singing to the crowd in front. It's a shame that few showed up because they were really amazing! Brett I think would have enjoyed a chance to sing some of his older stuff, especially when it seems that both he and Ryan have similar styles and sentiments....Nonetheless, Ryan was AMAZING...Brett would have been able to showcase his amazing voice equally well with his old style.... In fact, I wish Brett had played a number of his older tunes from "On Fire" (if he did I missed it because I was late by 30 minutes coming from work) Nonetheless, both guys were amazing. Ryan especially has the most memorable and provocative voice! I wish that I had something from him now (I like my CDs so I won't buy the MP3 version as I will get the electronic version as part of the CD purchase. Easton was also AMAZING. His older stuff was elevated to the next level. You can hear that he is trying to adapt to the new Nashville sound, but he held his own! And although I had been thinking of buying his stuff before, I did so two days after! Great energy!!!

The headliners were good, but Brett Young and Ryan Kinder blew me away! So charming and such beautiful songs. So glad I was introduced to them.

They were awesome Just wish they would of played more of their own songs and played a little longer. Was to short of a concert , 10 min. late starting then only played one hour and did an encore of two songs that weren't their songs. just a little disappointed in length and song choices..

An awesome show with awesome music. The music and the place made for an amazing time.

The show was definitely not what we expected after seeing them play last year at the same place. They played an hour twenty minutes, no encore. The sound was horrible. You could hardly understand let alone hear any of the lyrics. Way disappointed. Probably will not see them again in concert.

Great short show. Tickets were extremely reasonable though so I want expecting a 3 hour concert. Acoustics could have been better. The treble was too high or it was just the venue. Either way, especially in the beginning, it didn't sound the best and kind of hurt our ears. Other than that the band performed very well and it was very good entertainment. You could tell The Eli Young Band has experience and we enjoyed it.

Like most folks we were familiar with only a few EYB songs and went in with a clear mind hoping for the best. From the outset the sound mix was horrible. The lead vocals were almost impossible to hear over the over-amplified band members. It's a good thing the crowd knew the words to some of the songs and could sing along because they certainly didn't hear or understand the vocals from Mr. Eli.... Why do they have to have the volume so loud that it drowns out all the vocals? The band members were all very talented and fun to watch and hear. Great lead guitars and drumming - solid bass playing. But definitely need to fix the sound system.

The venue is a smaller size, so every seat was great. However, The speakers for the band were so incredibly loud, you could only hear 1/3 of the words they were singing. The sound was scratchy and screechy. Other concert goers said the same thing. The Black Jack dealer said they've had the same complaints after other concerts with the new guy that was hired a few months ago. Also, the spotlights on stage--the white lights keep shining in the eyes of audience members, very blinding! But it was awesome to see The Eli Young Band in person!

I don't know if it was the venue or their sound guy, but that sounded terrible. You couldn't understand a thing that was being sung. I still like the band and would probably give them another chance at a different venue. But I wouldn't repeat that event.

3 hours of opening bands and when they came out lead singer appeared totally wasted (all good if he sounded half way decent!). Saw lots of people walking out. Seemed like they thought they were heading an arena show...but reality is they were playing a $25 show at House of Blues.

Opening band sucked. But Eli Young band was awesome!!!! My dad and I had a blast. They were so fun to watch and sing along with. Plus the Cone Denim Entertainment Center was an awesome venue. I'd definitely go to another show there. Our seats were fantastic and the staff was very nice and helpful.

I'm really glad the tickets were cheap because this was one of the worst shows I've ever seen. It sounded like they missed sound check. The entire show, or for what I stayed through, sounded like he was singing in a tuna tin can. The venue was great and very intimate but the band was terrible. I'd never see them live again, despite how much I like their radio edited songs.

I had been wanting to see Eli Young FOREVER-love so many of their songs. This experience was disappointing. It was SO loud. I mean so loud people paid for tickets and didn't stay for the main Act. So loud people left with headaches(the couple next to me). So loud our ears were still ringing the next morning, but worst of all...SO loud that EVERYTHING was distorted...and I do mean everything. Lyrics were difficult to understand, musicians sounded off key, and forget about harmony. Not sure if it was the establishment or the band--Ill always like Eli Young, but will probably never pay to see them live again
