The three opening acts were terrific, culminating in Le1f's utterly magnetic performance. Das Racist seemed like they were drunk or high -- sloppy, low energy, not particularly interesting to watch. I was really bored. They ended 10 minutes early. (I'd guess that they have the capacity to do more, since they managed to attract such great openers.)

DR always puts on a killer show. American rap music.

These guys put on an energetic and fun show, however their live sound is not what I expected. Muffled, loud and generally frenetic, they constantly talked over each other distrupting the flow.

That show was fire. Lakutis kicking it in the crowd during DR's set, eXquire rapping from the crowd during his own... would definitely go again.

Das Racist & Lakutis tore it up. Great songs, better than the albums.

The show started about 8.30 pm or so, Despot came out first. He did about 7 songs and he was pretty good, but the crowd (there was about 200 people, at best), was clearly waiting for the main act... Same thing with Danny Brown, who was a little more energetic, but did not elicit a great response. When Das Racist came out, the crowd got a little better, but there was not enough energy to really call this a great show. Das Racist did about 8-10 songs, mix of all three albums, sounded pretty good, but seemed to be somewhat uninspired, due to fatigue or crowd response, I don't know. They still rocked the house and sounded very professional, but maybe a little more banter or enthusiasm would have been great... but again, that is a two way street. Still one of my faves, would go and see them again. The venue was small and private and if there was a capacity crowd, I think it would have been perfect.

Danny Brown was not there, so this show did not live up to expectations. I would have given it one start if not for the performances of the opening acts: Despot and Mr. Muthafackin' eXquire. Despot: Went hard for a little man eXquire: iLL, iLL, iLL. Too bad the crowd was filled with more New York Times(and Netflix) fans than real hip-hop fans. A good performance was wasted on a group of people that could not appreciate what this cat was doing. Left after a few Das Racist songs... watching the lame crowd was painful. Maybe there is a bit of tension between DR and Danny Brown... they put him on blast by starting off their set with "Who's that... Brown!!!"... this tour may not last long.
