Disco Dance Party

The oldsters can still move, but I would have felt more confortable if an ambulance was in sight.

I had never been to the disco dance party before so wasn't quite sure what to expect. Overall it was fun but wish there was some DJ disco music mixed in with the acts. It would have been great to hear more music I knew as well as songs to get the crowd to dance together (ex: hustle) It was enjoyable but could be so much better!!

Loved the fact the floor was all open so people could dance instead of getting stuck in an assigned seat having no fun.

I took my boyfriend for his birthday. We had a great time even though we arrived an hour late. We saw Gloria perform survive and one other song that I was not familiar with. I would attend an event like this again just to see the look on his face and him having a good time getting his groove on.

loved seeing the disco show..it brought back so many memories..the acts were all great..they sounded fantastic..everyone was dancing and singing..gloria gaynor is very underrated!!

The Disco Dance Party was a lot of fun. Would go again. Would also like to see a few more artists from the disco era.

The show was most enjoyable. I danced continuously with my girlfriend from the start to the end of the performance. I wished it would have last longer than 110 minutes.

This had great potential..but was entiredly too short & just not what it was advertised to be. Also, considering the small amount of people there, the only beverage they did not run out of was beer :(

The crowd in general seemed to appreciate a chance to re-live the 70's! People got crazy with 70's styles and quite a few said that it was nice if only for a few hours to take a trip back to a time when we didn't have to worry so much about things like we do now! Evelyn Champagne King was on fire!!!!! That girl has just as much energy as she had in the 70's! She is phenomenal!!!!! Gloria Gaynor was awesome - both my husband and I had goose-bumps as soon as she hit the first note! Anita Ward was also fantastic - another energy-packed performance! We danced the night away - it was great! Thanks to Mohegan Sun and the Artists! *Event could have had more special lighting such as strobe lights, etc.

This was the worst excuse for a show I have ever seen. The performers played a total of about 20 minutes each. I think it was just a ploy to get people into the casino. We even bought two seats of tickets so we could sit down after a while of dancing, little did we know the show was only going to last a little over an hour.

This show was amazing. We had a group of 16 people and would promote this again to even bring a larger crowd.

I had a most enjoyable evening at this event. It was great to stand right next to the stage and see these performers from the 70s. I was a little surprised that the first four acts only sang 2, 3, 3, and 2 songs respectively - will be listed under opening acts below. I thought it was like being at the filming of a PBS special. Also thought Gloria Gaynor's band could have provided the music for these first four acts instead of having canned music. Overall it was a great evening. Some of the attendees still had their disco clothes which they must have brought out of mothballs.

The Disco event was extremely boring. Some of the singers only did two songs. Gloria Gaynor was hard to hear because of the band. The only thing that was great to see was that people dressed in their 70's outfits. They also danced on the main floor. I walked out of the event after Gloria Gaynor did two songs as she was boring to me. I was surprised that this event was not extremely fun. JoEl

Had a ball. Took me back to the best memories. Had a great laugh checking out the outfits on people. All the acts were fabulous. Should be done again annually with even more acts if possible.

This was a fun night, but I must say it was very low budget. The original singers were basically singing to recorded backround music. The sound was absolutely terrible and it really bothered ones ears. It was very muffled and drowned out the singers.

Everyone At the event seemed to have a good time, including my date and I.

It brought me back to one of the best times of my life. It was so nice to see everyone up and dancing to all the old Disco hits. I would recommend this to anyone who grew up with Disco and wants to be transported back to that time.

I had an awesome time! I loved the fact that there was a dance floor with a disco ball. I loved every act except Gloria Gaynor was a disappointment in that she did not keep it "DISCO". That was a let down. I could have listened to Evelyn King all night long. The only person that would have made it even better would be Donna Summers. She is the epitomy of "Disco"!

Had a great time at the Disco Party - wish i had dressed up !!! but there were plenty of others to gawk at & admire. Really enjoyed Gloria Gaynor & Anita Ward ! Wish it was longer and there was a chance for all the artists to come out at the end & sing one song together !! Great time & THANK YOU !!!

It was a good show but I think music should've been played during the downtime b/w performers. I felt that everyone was just left standing around doing nothing. If there was music we could've kept dancing.

We were very disappointed with this show. The speakers were HORRIBLE! It was so loud that you couldn't really enjoy it at all. I thought the acts they had were great, however, you couldn't really enjoy the lyrics. We left before the end. It's to bad, as we had guests from out of town that were really looking forward to the show.

I arrived late however Evelyn Champagne King and Gloria Gaynor were off the hook!

It was a flashback from the past. It reminded me of Soul Train. Great to see the original artists singing their number one hits! More than half of the audience really took it to heart and got into the mood by dressing up in 70's garb. It was awesome. Polyester suits, platform shoes and afro wigs.

While we enjoyed this event, it was disappointing. The artists sang some of the great songs we expected, but then there were several songs that really weren't disco dance songs. I had expected to be on my feet dancing away for two hours, and that wasn't the case. The performers were great, but I expected two hours of danceable disco music! :~/

#1....CARL CARLTON COULD HAVE SANG ALL OF "EVERLASTING LOVE" INSTEAD OF 1/2 OF IT!!! #2... ANITA WARD ONLY HAD ONE HIT SO WHAT COULD SHE DO...SHE WAS O.K. #3... EVELYN "CHAMPAGNE" KING WAS CERTAINLY THE HIGH POINT OF THIS SHOW...SHE GOT PEOPLE UP IN THEIR SEATS AND HAD A GREAT ACT THAT SHOWED HER ENTHUSIAM WITH WHAT SHE WAS DOING. #4...ROSE ROYCE AGAIN GOT PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR SEATS.....A THIRD SONG WOULD HAVE MADE IT BETTER BUT THEY WERE PRETTY GOOD #...AND NOW....GLORIA GAYNOR DOING A LOT OF COVERS THAT WERE A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME...THE WOMAN HAD QUITE A FEW ALBUMS BEFORE "I WILL SURVIVE" CAME OUT IN "77...STILL COULD SING BUT A REAL LOUNGE ACT...KUDOS TO HER LIVE BAND WHICH WAS GREAT!!!
