What a delight! True to description, an amazing band with unique instrumentation. Great voices and Orla's accent made her Irish stories so engrossing. My 8 yr old was enthralled with the music, being able to dance to it, the harp, the stories, the violins, and ALL the voices and instruments, along with meeting the band in the lobby. It was truly beyond expectations for both of us. Some of the songs I remembered my grandmother singing. Other new songs were not as emotional, but great to experience and hear.

Orla Fallon's solo US tour ended in Gainesville, Florida November 2011 on a high note sending everyone home singing and dancing. She is the ultimate entertainer that connects with her audience well. She personalized her show to fit her audience and even acknowledged loyal fans from the stage. Her mix of old Irish tunes with new material gave a fresh look to her concert. The addition of Tin Cup Gypsy enhanced the experience with the stellar back up and pre concert warm up show. Everyone was relaxed and focused on what was on stage. After the show she treated the audience with a personal appearance in the lobby, greeting fans and signing CD/Pictures for them. This was well worth the price of admission and we are looking forward to her return to America.

Orla is an amazing performer whether singing with just her pure, magical voice or with the harp or full band. She is geniune, interactive and personal, and so gently Irish. Everyone should take the opportunity to attend one of her performances.

Orla Fallon and her back up band, Tin Cup Gypsy, were amazing on Friday night. They kept the audience entertained and engaged with many stories of Ireland and personal interaction with audience members. After the show, both signed autographs and posed for pictures as long as audience members asked them to. It was a fantastic performance and I hope Orla returns to the US again soon.

The overall statement is "Very Good, but disappointing." I bought a CD before the show started because I was told Orla would be signing them during intermission. that never happened. She can play the harp...but really didn't to that. I didn't like how she downplayed the other females in the performance...even her own violinist. She is very talented and her Christmas CD is fantastic. I'm not sure I like her.

This was without a doubt the best concert I have ever attended! I am in my 60s and have seen many artistes of every genre, some very famous soloists, Groups and Bands in the USA and in Europe. What made this concert so special was the quality of the performances by Órla Fallon and the supporting musicians Tin Cup Gypsy and Amberly Rosen. The voices and music blended faultlessly, there was just enough sentiment, fun, longing and sheer joy to satisfy all tastes. The Squitieri Studio Theatre was a perfect venue .....Órla Fallon could well have been welcoming us into her parlour for an intimate music session. Her introduction and explanation of each song drew her audience in and made them an integral part of a wonderful evening.

I love Celtic Woman and they lost their magic when Orla left. The first half of her show was sadly disapointing because the sound people had the violin louder than Orla. I was apparently not the only one to think so because the sound was fine during the second half. Overall it was a great concert. We got Orla's signature and met her after the show, and she is as wonderful, and beautiful in person as she seems on television.

Tin Cuo Gypsy Opened with 5 tracks and acts as Orla's band. They are multiskilled. I enjoyed their work and found that they complemented Orla well. Complements to Dan Shea on keyboard, Accordian, and Guitar. Amberly Rosen is a great Fidller and also complemented Orla well. Everyone sang backup at soem point. Orla does not perform a concert she gives her music as a gift. The cost of my ticket would have been earned just to hear her play the harp and sing Isle of Inishfree, The concert is a nice mix of Celtic Trad, American country, and faith based songs. Orla brings the music to life and her feelings for the songs in the little stories she tells about her history with the songs, memories attached to the songs, and a lot of plain old humor that added so much richness to the performance. If you like the opportunity to meet the artist Orla gives you every opportunity through PBS meet and greet as well as signing CD's and DVD's purchased. This concert was a long awaited opportunity and more than worth the cost of tickets, hotels, and gas and time spent driving. Orla reaches me through her music in ways I have yet to find the words to describe. I was enchanted to see Orla display so much physical energy and movement as she too enjoyed every note of the concert and I so enjoyed the many times she goes to her harp which are always special moments.

What a fabulous evening of music! I had received your email just thursday and immediately bought a ticket - only $20 for row F7 - great view - lovely facility. I was not familiar with the opening band but they were entertaining as well as talented. The addition of the keyboard along with Orla's harp was perfect. An extra bonus was both Orla and her backup band from Nashville - I believe their name was Gypsy Cups but don't have the cd here right now - of course I had to get it and they were so sweet to sign it for everyone as was Orla. It was my first time at Cain Park but definately not my last. Well done all around!!

Show was flat, she really needs the rest of the crew. Why she ever broke off is beyond me. Her dress was simply beautiful but she had some stupid wired thing attached at the waist that not only did NOT go with the dress, it was a distraction...it actually stuck out from the skirt.

An evening of beautiful Celtic and Country music. When Orla sings and plays her harp you feel like you are in Celtic heaven. She made her concert special by giving a brief introduction for each song. She tied many of the songs to her own personal life experiences, making them even more touching. A wonderful evening. "Isle of Innisfree" was alone worth the price of the tickets!

Orla put together a fantastic concert beginning with the opening act Tin Cup Gypsies and ending with an encore performance. She mixed up her music with standard Irish songs and a mix of american favorites.

Purchased all Orla's music and already knew she was something beyond special, but last night...WOW! Orla has the facility to reach into your heart and make you feel you are the only one in the theater, with a moving and gentle voice that touches beauty as I never knew anyone could. She sings of Ireland, of home, of love and just plain beauty. Meanwhile she converses with her audience, and becomes one with them with a smile. Orla has dramatically expanded her scope in music and demonstrated her immense talent, polished by years with Celtic Woman, but really all her own. She is soft and gentle, but some songs, such as "Soul Cake:, she does purely for the fun of it. And she can really belt 'em out when she so wishes! Go, go now, and see her wherever you can!
