All of the performers were amazing during the concert. A great mix where Tristan joined Eric on stage for a couple songs at one point too. They were all extremely nice as well after the show to take photos, meet fans, and sign autographs. Eric was even nice enough to take a funny photo with me. But the overall concert was worth it!!! The thing I loved the best is they could all sing beautifully live, which you don't always get with some artists.

Eric Hutchinson knows how to work a crowd. He starts strong and just keeps going. I am not real sure that he took a break. Meiko, the openner, was awesome too. I never heard of her, but was glad I was introduced. Definately recommend checking Eric out.

Eric Hutchinson is a truly talented musician! He is able to command the stage and interact with the crowd in a way that created and incredibly charged atmosphere in the concert hall. For the week after the concert, I couldn't listen to any of his music on my computer or iPod because it sounded flat and boring in comparison to his dynamic performance! Meiko was also fun to listen to. She has an interesting stage persona and her music is catchy. THe songs are very short though. I would recommend buying her CD so that you can get a better feel for her music. However, when listening to the CD all the way through, every song sounds the same. But separately, she has some really good songs!

I love the Recher. Always have. It's even better now with the new sound system. Eric played a very good, though short set. Clocked in at just over an hour. I'd expect a bit longer of a show for the price of the ticket. Serena Ryder was great as the opener, really enjoyed her set.

Full Disclosure: This was my 9th Eric Hutchinson show in 14 months. I just can't help it. I attend a lot of concerts, in general, but he is, BY FAR, my favorite live act. I have introduced many friends and family (including my parents) to the fantastic experience that is an EHutch show and none have been disappointed. Eric is fabulously entertaining and his music is infectious and fun. I would not (and have not) hesitate to bring anyone (any age, familiar with EH's music or not) to a show.

Matt opened the show an he rocked. He played all the best songs. Serena tore the house down. She sang acapella and with the guitar. She even gave props to a fan that knew all her lyrics. Eric was phenomenal. This was my second time seeing him in concert and it won't be my last. Even cooler they all stayed behind and signed autographs.

This was the second time that I saw Eric Hutchinson and he is such an amazing performer. His songs are great but his personality makes the concert that much more fun. Hes known to make up a new song at every show that kind of makes fun of the surroundings and he does a great cover of Ive got sunshine/remix to ignition. Very fun! The only downfall to this concert was the venue. The Recher theater is very long and if youre too far back it is hard to see and at this particular show there was a screen with pictures constantly going showing previous shows at this venue (past artists) It took from the show b/c it was very distracting.

Eric's album is awesome...every song. Seeing and hearing him live is amazing. Even though this was in a tiny, stand-only venue, it was one of the best concerts I've been to. And I've been to many. Even if he played his album note for note it would have been great, but he didn't. He changed things up, got his opening act Serena Ryder (who is also amazing by the way) to join him on a song, threw in bits of other songs into his own (Ignition by R. Kelly, My Girl by The Temptations, Heartless by Kanye West, OPP by Naughty By Nature). He kept all of us on our toes and involved. And his audience was anyone from 15/16 all the way through 40 or so. If you like his album you'll love him live. If you've never heard of him I highly recommend him.

I would definitely go see him again! He put on an amazing show. Syrena Ryder opened with an acoustic set that was super! The Varsity theater is one of the best, most intimate venues in the Mpls area. Eric had high energy and kept the crowd moving. He also related with the audience on many occasions.

I don't believe the set list differed much from the last time that I saw Eric Hutchinson, and there wasn't much improvisation in his show, but Eric has great energy, the venue was perfect for his music, and his quirky/kind of dorky personality makes for a fun and entertaining show. First time I heard his music was a long distance drive, so I had NO idea what he looked like. All I could think was he was one of the most soulful musicians I had heard in a long time....... This concert (as well as all the others) was unforgettable!!! For a skinny white guy (written with loads of LOVE), Eric is a ball of energy and amusement! He never ceases to amaze me, if anything, he leaves me wanting just a bit more because he's THAT wonderful! So THANK YOU ERIC HUTCHINSON!!! You rock, for a white dude! This was an amazing show. Opening with newbie to the States, Nick Howard, he played a good set, enjoyable and worth owning the CD. Followed up by Tristan Prettyman who was excellent. There were some in the audience who were there to just see her. She didn't disappoint, I heard fans coming away happy with her shorter set than headliner Hutchinson. I saw Eric Hutchinson in the same venue back in May of this year when he was opening up the tour for Pure Fiction. He played more songs from the album then and the show was energetic. But this show had far more energy. He jammed quite a bit with the band, ad-libbed some Monster Mash stuff, and played some great covers. He hit a little bit from all of his albums. Overall, all three artists were incredibly talented and gracious towards the crowd. A good crew of folks who seem grounded and want to connect to their fan base, and enjoy it. Including meeting folks after the show for pictures and autographs.

Being new to Eric Hutchinson, I think he has a great portfolio of music. The band also was great. He puts on a great high energy performance, unfortunately the venue was not as good as it could have been. First, open the doors on time and get everyone in. Second, there was no need for 2 warm up acts, Nick Howard would have been enough. He was also great, haveing never heard him before. Powerful voice and great set of songs. The venue's sound quality unfortuantely detracted from the overall performance.

Eric and the band put on a great show this week at the Royale in Boston. High energy through out the 80 minute set. Non stop go. Well worth the price of admission. Tristan Prettyman did not match up well with Eric though. Too slow, not well rehearsed. 45 minutes of "when will this be over". Nick Howard was a nice surprise all alone on stage with his guitar. He would have been a much better lead in to the main show.

My only complaints: - Saints of Vallory weren't listed anywhere on the website where I booked. They rocked, but wish I knew they'd be there in advance, - Listing said the doors would open at 6 and the show started at 7, however, doors didn't open till after 7 and the show didn't start till 8. (I would have worn different shoes and/or showed up a bit later...) Otherwise - amazing!!! Eric Hutchinson is amazing and did a fantastic live show. Paradise is an amazingly intimate venue, I will need to keep tabs on who's playing there in the future.

Eric Hutchinson and his band finished their 7 week tour with a show in Boston and it was clear they had plenty of energy reserved for this crowd. The band is made up of 3 other members, apparently hand picked for both their musical skill and ability to engage with the audience. The whole band, including the lively drummer, cycled through the available stage positions bringing energy to each "do op" and 'oh ah" throughout the entire show. Even if you walked in without knowing the songs, Eric Hutchinson and band will win you over before the night is finished.

The atmosphere of this concert was a very good. The college aged crowd was very excited and added to the experience. The opening act was much better than expected. Saints of Valory has a very good lead singer and band. Their set interested me in their music. Eric was very professional and put on an extremely entertaining show. The intitimate crowd in the small venue added to the experience. His band was very entertaining and added some comic relief to the slower songs so it was never boring. It was great to meet him and get his autograph and picture. He's, also, very good singer live and I love his big finishes to songs. I highly recommend seeing his show. If there was any complaint it would be that because it was a small venue and the stage wasn't that high, if you were kinda short it would be hard to see from the back if there were taller people in front of you. I'd recommend having a video monitor or setting the stage a bit higher so that all can see comfortably. This may be more of a venue complaint than the actual show.

Not only can Eric Hutchinson sing, but he has an incredible stage presence and put on an amazing performance. This was by far one of the best performances I have ever seen. It was full of excitement and energy. He bounced around the stage the entire night, playing an almost 90 minute set. He ended the night in the middle of the crowd on the floor, that's a true performer. Highly recommended.

This was my second time seeing Eric Hutchinson. While the first time might have been a bit more intimate, this show was still great. The band was tight, Eric played all the hits and a good amount of new material, and threw in some fun covers as well. I was also surprised at how good Saints of Valory were. I hadn't heard of them before, but I bet we'll all be hearing more about and from them in the future. My only complaint was with the drink prices at St. Andrew's...definitely pricey, but I guess they know they have a captive audience and are charging accordingly. :-\\

This was my second time seeing Eric, and he did not disappoint. He sang everything from the new album, Pure Fiction (buy it now), and lots of stuff from his previous albums. The Cambridge Room is such a small place. There couldn't have been 200 people in the room, but Eric plays like he is front of a stadium crowd. And you can tell he enjoys what he does. Eric Hutchinson not only has strong vocals, he is also a great piano player and plays the guitar. He did all three during this concert, alternating between guitar and piano. He is exceptionally talented, hilarious, and entertaining. The venue was great because it was a fairly small theatre, so even though I sat in the back, I still had a pretty good view. One of the best concerts I've ever been to! I don't know why anyone would choose Justin Beiber over Eric Hutchinson (Justin Beiber was playing nearby on the same night). Eric even signed CDs after the concert.

Eric gave us a fantastic show! Mingling in his new album with the old, doing a couple of great cover songs, telling stories and interacting with the audience. Tornadoes touched down in the metro Denver area yesterday, but that was nothing compared to the energy at the Bluebird Theater as Eric Hutchinson and the band took the stage last night. Opener, Meiko, seemed a little intimidated by the size of the crowd that showed up but Eric, Jimmy, and Tone seemed to lap up the enthusiasm and turn it into a dynamic show. After banging out the opening "You've Got You" with a little of Kanye's "Heartless" on his new Kurzweil keyboard, he moved immediately into this fan's favorite "Oh" and the classic Oh-off. Even the balcony, whom he can usually catch off guard, came through with a strong chorus. Throughout his set of songs from Sounds Like This, fans got to hear some of his newer music, "Sad Songs" and an even fresher solo from Eric, "In the First Place." And the newest of songs was his improvised "Mile High" song. It was almost too good to believe he hadn't rehearsed it, but the laughter from his band was convincing that this might have been the first time they had heard it too. Regardless, Denverites, who takes great pride in their lung capacity, loved his breathless gasps about an asthmatic needing his inhaler. Finishing out the set with his second single, "OK, It's Alright with Me," Hutchinson then teased the crowd by introducing his famous song heard on radio, TV, internet, even ham radio and covered "My Girl" and "Ignition." Even after finishing the night with "Rock & Roll" the crowd demanded more. Eric explained that that was supposed to be the end of the show but admitted he "could take a hint." As the filming location of the So You Think You Can Dance episode featuring "Breakdown More" the Denver fans were eager for this song in encore. But as the band returned with him on stage, he put down his acoustic guitar and mumbled through the lyrics of "Red Red Wine" encouraging the fans to sing along and prove that nobody really knows all the words to this song. I don t know why he didn t go for the slam dunk and play "Breakdown More", but it is just one more reason to go see his next show the next time he is in town. Maybe he will.

Eric played an energetic and eclectic mix at his show in Towson, MD at the Recher Theatre on May 23rd, 2009! His enthusiasm and interactions with the audience could not be surpassed! From quoting movies (Back To The Future) to even singing an impromptu song about the venue's lighting and screens. I have been a fan of Eric's now for quite some time and was excited and delighted to finally see Eric in action. There was no sign of disappointment at this show! He played every song off of "Sounds Like This" as well as through in a couple covers and new songs I had not been familiar with. All in all an incredible show by an equally incredible musician! Eric is a fantastic performer who I believe will only increase in popularity. I highly recommend everyone to see this guy live now before he blows up!

Eric Hutchinson was amazing! The whole show was just great. The venue is a pretty seamless process getting in. Wish the bar up front had some of the same beers as the bar out back (namely the two roads hefe!) but they do have a great selection overall and the staff is great too. This is the 5th time I've seen Tristan Prettyman in concert and she's simply amazing. Nick Howard was a great opening act and he really set the tone for the rest of the concert. The venue was extremely cozy and worked really well for all three of these performers. I can't recommend Tristan enough! She has such positive vibes and a great outlook on life.

It was good if you have seen the prior two movies. If not, would be a little diffivlcult to follow.

Eric was energetic, clear voiced and fabulous. The concert was moved from a large seated venue to a much smaller standing only one. Eric still gave it his everything, got the crowd going and we all had a great time. The sound was great. The band really helped highlight Eric's voice and lyrics without overwhelming him. I would go see him again in a heartbeat.

It's tough to be excited about a concert on a Tuesday. I was really hesitant to go, but it was totally worth the LONG Wednesday. Opener was amazing, Tristan was solid, and Hutch was awesome. Great show in a fun venue. Aside: Menopause the Musical was playing in the theatre at the same time. All three acts had some great comments about that.

My best friend and I decided to get tickets to this concert on a whim, a random Tuesday evening, and we are SO glad we did! We had a blast! Eric is such a great entertainer! He's funny and produces great music! To top it off, on the encore song "Forever", he ventured to the floor where everyone was and we ended up dancing around with him as he sang his song. So. Much. Fun!

If you have the chance to see this tour, go. Go. Go. Go. Great performances by all three artists. - we were happy to have the chance to discover Nick Howard and Tristam Prettyman was as good as we hoped. EH brought the house down - great energy and interaction with the crowd. Would see him again, for sure.

Easily one of the very best shows I have ever seen. Truly an amazingly talented musician. The venue was small with friendly staff. Mr. Hutchinson could stun an audience with nothing other than his hands clapping and that amazing voice. The second he picks up a guitar or touches a keyboard, it is a whole other kind of blown away. Thank you Eric for an amazing evening!

Eric and his band have done it again. If you're looking for a first date idea, go to ehutch show. If you don't get laid...you didn't take her to the ehutch show. Great mix of amazing songwriting, instrumental expertise, high energy showmanship, cover song mash ups with his originals, and a little stand up comedy too. You gotta check out the show.

Eric Hutchinson was incredible! He has such a great energy on stage and sounds fantastic live. The set list was primarily from the first album, but that was still great since I love his older songs, too. Out of the opening acts, I loved Nick Howard but was less than impressed with Tristan Prettyman. Her vocals and her stage presence left much to be desired.

Eric is an amazing singer and performer. He's funny, the kid can dance and I like every song on every album. That is hard to say about any artist. I hope the "whole world" gets to know his music.

I've been to a lot of concerts, and this was by far the best one yet. He is funny, ridiculously talented, and he sounds better live than anyone I've ever heard. My husband enjoyed the show WAY more than he thought he would. He's still singing the songs around the house days later. And I am too!

This was a very fun concert. It did not matter that he did not have his full band. He is always entertaining and fun. Only problem I had was the venue is not conducive to dancing. Most people just sat in their seats and watched when I wanted to dance.

Not only is Eric Hutchinson an amazing live singer, he is a great performer. He interacts with the audience and adds stories about his experiences and how he came to write his songs. All with a flare of humor not found by any other singer I've seen. He clearly loves what he does and wants you to have fun too! If you're on the fence or feel like you don't know him well enough to go- GO!
