Jac Holzman

Ray Manzarek was invited to join the stage in the last 10 minutes of the presentation (he spoke for 90 seconds) and then quickly escorted away from the fans afterwards. Very rude in my opinion for only 200 people attending this event. Mr Holzman narrative was interesting as to the formation of the label, although there was not much in the "anecdotes" area referring to the artists, specially the Doors, Queen, etc. only a brief comment about Jim Morrison's admiration for Sinatra.... Mr Smith did try to relate some stories from the Grateful Dead but not much beyond that.
