I can' believe this is the 7th Jack Show...and only my FIRST....I barely left my seat...alllll the shows were great, the weather finally cooled, and the evening was comepletely AWESOME, and worth the drive from San Diego (why did they have to cancel the show there?)

What happened??? Why were we standing too long????

Heart and Def Leppard rocked. The earlier bands on the second stage was strange and not well orchestrated. Not sure why they choose to change the format.

Good if you were just going to see the 2 headlining bands - but the last minute announcement that all other bands would be on the side stage was a disappointment. My friend and I guessed that they did this to help out the numerous vendors that are set up outside - but it made for a very crowded outside area and there was no place to sit if you bought food or beer because they weren't even letting people into the main stage area.

I bought tickets thinking we'd be able to see at least the advertised artists from the seats in front of the main stage. I didn't have reason to believe differently, because this was the case years ago when we saw Jack's 1st Show. Instead they had a side stage, standing room only area with no seats for all but the last two acts. They also had vendors all over the place and it was crowded. I was very glad we didn't bring children, even teenagers, as some of the items being sold were embarrassing (t-shirts promoting marijuana use, references to private parts, etc...) We left after just a couple of hours. I wish we could get both our time and money back, such a waste of both. We won't be going to this event again.

They have got to know their demographic. Keeping the stands closed and keeping everyone on the commons before 7PM sucked pond water. The previous 5 shows were awesome with almost all of the acts on the main stage. Only two acts on the main stage. There will not be 7th for me.

Little dissappointed about the side stage...but once Heart and Def Leppard came on..I was in rock n roll heaven!!!

Amazing music! Great sound. Heart sisters rock like they are in their 20's! Def Lepard too!

Didn't like that we couldn't get to our seats for 4 hrs. Just because def leopard didn't want share stage. It would have been nice to know this so we could plan for that. Once we finally found out we couldn't get near the small side stage to see other bands. 3rd jack show we attended and not all that great compared to previous years.

I was disappointed over the fact that you pay a higher price for these tickets since you get to see several great bands; however, you are only in the seats for two of the bands. I loved Marcy's Playground, Dramarama, Sir-Mix-A-Lot and EVERCLEAR!!!!

Everything was great from the beginning, starting with the free parking. Once the show started it was high energy to the end. Heart sounded great, Ann wilson's voice is amazing. Def leppard put on a great show with a video backdrop that looked veery cool.

I paid for SEATS and had to stand for 6 bands. This was uncalled for and I paid a lot for my seats. I have been to all of the Jack shows, and unless they change that, I will never be back. The food stands were a joke. In prior years it was like an all day event, eating, music, drinks. This year it was like they viewed it as only a concert with Heart and Def Leppard, and the other stuff was an annoyance. Not even enough seats to sit down and eat. SHAMEFUL! For my $80 Loge ticket price (x6), I should have been able to sit down in my seats, all day long!

Every year, Jack has had the artists on the "Big stage". Once upon a time, the Jack show had the feeling of a picnic in the park, listening to great bands. This year, the only 2 on the big stage were Heart and Def Leopard. If you bought a seat, you didn't even get to sit in it until after 7p.m. after arriving at 3 p.m. If you bought lawn seating, you couldn't just put your things on the lawn...you got to carry EVERYTHING around with you all day. Really, Jack? Was this so that people would spend more money at the vendors? I'm sure it worked out well for you, but If that is done again, I will not be going. I will say that the Artists were mostly awesome! Except, when the sound went out for Dramarama. At least they had a sense of humor about the event! I heard a LOT of people complaining that they would not return next year. I noticed quite a few empty seats this year...more so it seemed than last year. This used to be a great event...I hope they continue with their greatness.

You guys really need to ditch the side stage - really awkward and poor set up. I think there is no reason all of the bands couldn't have used the main stage. Honestly, out of the lead up bands, I thought Sir Mix a lot was the most entertaining and sounded good and authenticate to his hits. Had the crowd going, even all the white long-hair rockers loved him!! Heart and Def Leppard were fantastic! So impressed with both, sounded terrific and they put on excellent shows. They are both still A-rated bands with true talent, vocals have held up! If it wasn't for the side stage fiasco, I would have given 5 stars.

This year's layout of the show was different-but great. Usually when you get into the Verizon Theater, you have food stands, things to buy/hats and trinkets,t-shirts, things to win,ect... then you go up to your seats and the shows are playing all day/night. You can come and go back and fourth to the "carnival" or to the show. This year the seats were blocked until the last 2 shows played. The rest of the 4 bands played at a stage in the "carnival" area. I thought it was awesome!!!! I got to get great pictures with Dramarama-who was awesome!!! Def Leppard was the closing band-who not only sounded great, they played for 3 hours! I can't wait for Jack's 7th Show!!!

All of the bands were great. Def Leppard's audio mix didn't have the singers voice as prominent as I expected, but overall they sounded great... The singer for heart, her voice is still very powerful after all these years.

I thought the show was amazing, as usual. You don't get anything less from jack. The only thing I didn't really like was having the opening acts on the side stage over by the merch booth. It was crowded, the tents really blocked views and it was difficult getting around with all the people blocking the pathways. But it was still an amazing show. I would recommend anyone to these events

Great performers and great venue. Can't wait for next years show!

The website was not very helpful. Had I known the seating for the ampitheater opened later, I would have arrived at around 6pm. The website shows that it starts at 3pm and nothing else. I really didn't care to watch all the drunk people during the day and wasn't interested in hearing the opening artists. However, I really enjoyed the two bands we were there to see. Both Heart and Def Leppard were fantastic! Ann Williams can still belt it out after all these years!

I've been to every Jack show so far. Every single one of them has been at Verizon wireless. Prior to attending, I checked the website for set times and regulations on food and drink inside the venue. I could not find anything regarding outside food and drink. What I did find was Jack's attempt at humor of what to bring to the concert including your grandmother. Also, the set list included the majority of the bands playing on the side stage. Thinking this was a typo I went to the concert looking forward to as good of a time if not better than the last five years. I was informed I could not bring my water or food inside and I had to stand for most of the show time. I'm extremely disappointed in the way things were organized and handled. When I purchased tickets, I bought seats for the entire show, not just Def Leppard and Heart. Will definitely question going to any further Jack shows.

Best Show EVER!! It was sooooooo much fun, great food, awesome show!!

The Wilson sisters sounded great as usual, would have liked it if they played a little longer. And the boys from Def Leppard still know how to kick ass and play it loud. Saw them a couple of years ago and they rock the house then. Can't wait to see them again.

Def Leppard and Heart on the main stage were GREAT both performance, stage and sound-wise. The other acts, Marcy Playground, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Dramarama and Everclear had to perform on the "side stage", which sucked, not because of their performance but because of the limited viewing area - way more people wanted to see these acts than places you could stand to get a decent view of what was going on. Sound was OK on the "side stage", but of course it's not going to be in the same ballpark with the main stage. If I had it to do over, I'd have gone to the Heart/Def Leppard part of the program and would forego the side stage acts. Heart and Def Leppard alone were worth the price of admission.

I was blown away by Heart. Not being able to sit in the seats we paid good money for was not cool. The other bands should have been able to play on the big stage also. Or at least alternate side stage to main stage. I am only 5 feet tall and had to sit on a metal railing to be able to see anything. I would not go again if it is done this way again. Ever Clear should have been on the main stage.

I thought more than just the top 2 acts would be on the main stage, Everclear at least, but that said, Heart and Def Leppard kicked ass!

Jack's show is great .This year is going to be better.He play what he want but you can eat what you want at LA SALSA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL located cross street of Jack's show

The Jack shows always deliver, we try to go every year, not only for the bands but also for everything else they have going on, it is a great time with friends

I have been to a few of the Jack shows and had a great time at each one. This show they herded everyone into a small area where they tried to sell! sell! sell! They put all but two of the acts on a small side stage that you had to stand in front of if you wanted to see the bands. No seating near stage. Tables spread around behind vehicles and booths so basically you could hear them but not see them. They did not open the seating area to the main stage until 6 or 7 pm. So if you paid for a good seat, you really got screwed because you only got to sit in it for two bands. Also, you were not allowed to bring anything in, no food of any kind and nothing to drink, not even a single bottle of water! The venue was all about the money for this show, not the good times of shows from the past few years....I am placing that blame on the venue and Jack may need to find a new one for the next show!

The show was great but I would have preferred to have seen the whole show on the main stage and been able to go back and forth from the music to the concessions.

Great day, great lineup, and great crowd! Always love to see Def Leppard live!

THE VENUE: Our party of four arrived at 4pm. Glad tailgaiting was allowed in the parking lot. Website said one 24 ounce non-alcoholic beverage allowed per person in sealed plastic container, however security denied my 4 Gatorade bottles entrance at the checkpoint :-( Main venue entrance closed until 7pm... BUMMER! Side stage was set facing the main entry pathway, which was blocked the entire time they were playing... STUPID! The day was HOT and no place large enough to accommodate the growing crowd within view of the playing bands... AGGRAVATING! After waiting for 3 hours, we were finally allowed in... YAAAY! Only to find out that the $9 bottled Jack Daniels and $4.50 bottled Water were warm... YUCK! We attended the 4th and 5th Jack Shows and things were NOT like this. If it will continue to be this way, doubtful we will attend again... THE PERFORMERS: AWESOME! Lots of rocking, dancing and singing. Heart and Def Leppard rocked! Warm-up bands were also great. Great performances for the night.

The entire show was great! Heart really hit it & Def Lepard was just awesome!

I cannot believe that we would have to pay the money that was charged for seats that are unavailable until the last two bands played! That was outrageous. The sidestand was poorly done and the power shut off in the middle of Dramarama's set. I have been to 4 out of 6 shows and this will be my last.

I did not like the way the bands were displayed this year. 4 bands were playing outside the main event on a side stage. The remaining 2 bands played on the main stage. I was not aware of this display arrangement and miss out on 3 bands. I was waiting for the main stage to open and took time to look at all the vendor booths. I did hear bands playing on the side stage but I thought they were cover bands. I feel this was unfair for the price I payed to get in. I always felt if I am paying for a seat then I deserve to watch the show from a seat. Once I realized that the actual bands were playing then I tried to go and watch but too many people were in front and because of my height was not able to look at much. I also feel that the side stage was not adequate for the bands since it did not sound like a professional concert. It sounded more like a free recreational concert. I hope this review gets back to the promoters or people who are in charge of putting the concert together and realized that I did not like this arrangement. I did talk to other people and they all agreed that the arrangement this year was not suitable. This is my fourth Jack Concert and was not up to standards compared to previous Jack Concerts. Overall, not happy with the band set up.

I have been to JACKS show years ago. It was better then because the entire event was on the same stage and you could be @ your seat THAT YOU PAID FOR the whole day! I will not go again unless they change this.

I went to Jacks 4th Show and they just get better and better!!!! Had a blast!!! Cant wait till the 7th show =) We have now made this an official tradition to go every year. Jack FM is the best station that has been around in years. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! Always the best bands and the right mix. Love that the shows are all ages, we brought our teenage kids. We ALL had a great time.

The side stage set-up this year was poorly done. The expectation that all attendees could comfortably experience ALL of the non-headliners on a small stage with limited access and seating was a terrible move, especially for the money paid. Heart and Def Leppard were outstanding, however ALL of the attendees should have been allowed to enjoy ALL of the bands from their paid seats! Hopefully this changes back the old way for future years to come.....

Both bands were amazing. The sound that came out was just as if I was playing it off of a record.

Def Leppard & Heart were great! But u guys really blew it. Not having all the acts on the main stage with no place to sit and hear the other acts was awful. Us older folks cannot always stand around from 3 PM to 7 PM. If we hadn't already had tickets we would have just left. if it is going to continue to be this way, we won't be going back. Food and drink were outrageously priced.

Def Leppard was perfection in all ways. The sound was great without flaws. Their stage presents was perfect. From the clothes that they wore right down to the individual "sparkle" of each performer's personal choice of where to glitter and shine. At a distance, it appeared that they each had diamonds floating and sparkling on them. From the mic stand, to the head gear, to the guitar. It was dazzling. The way the stage was set was the best. You could clearly watch every step of the performers. The light show was, without a doubt, the best I've seen in a long while. The use of color's muted perfectly. The last time I saw such vivid color's was "Pink Floyd" at the Forum in the "70's. The music selected was just what we all wanted. Def Leppard sounded perfect. Just as good, if not better, than in the "80's". The best of the best that just kept you wanting more.

I have attended all but one Jack FM show. I bought 4 reserved presale tix for frds & I to attend and spent $598 for them. Upon arrival at 3 PM was denied access to seats & was not given an explanation but told to come back after 7 pm when seated areas would be open. Openers & 4 advertised artists had to be viewed on a small stage & because I am under 5 ft I had to camp out for hours or lose my spot by the stage. I was crushed like a sardine, almost burned by some drunk woman's cigarette, & repeatedly pushed/squished by others that were trying to get closer to the stage. Security staff directly in front of us saw pushing & the cigarette & did nothing but laugh! Once seated over 4 hours later, then the show rocked. Heart & Def Leppard never disappoint. Just unfortunate that so much money spent on seats that couldn't be accessed for the entire concert...poor planning/communication & apparently was because of the stage setup for Heart & Def Leppard. I hope future Jack shows will offer price reductions/not be misleading.

I, along with every other attendee at the concert, was EXTREMELY upset about not being able to get to our seats at the main stage until 6:30 or so! Luckily, I am not one of the people who shelled out hundreds of dollars for orchestra seats! I will NOT be attending next year unless this arrangement changes. The four bands that played on the small stage were good, but standing out there for hours was a pain!

THE SIDE SHOW MUSIC OF JACKS SIX SHOW WAS GREAT BUT I FEEL THAT IF THERE GOING TO DO THINGS LIKE THIS THEY NEED TO DO TWO SIDE STAGES TO LET BANDS PLAY SO THERE IS NO DOWN TIME BETWEEN BANDS AND MIGHT GIVE EACH BAND 30 MINS TO PLAY NOT 20 MINS OR LESS.

Overall the show was awesome, and Heart rocked it! However, between Heart and Def Leppard the sound guys screwed something up and the bass was so loud that I couldn't hear the band. It was so bad we left early, very disappointed.

Had to walk around or sit on grass in front of a small stage for 4-hours to get into the amphitheater, what the hell was Jack FM thinking? Third show attendance, NEVER AGAIN!

I enjoyed the bands, but was not happy with the side stage arrangement. I could hear the music, but had an obstructed view of the stage. I felt like I would have been better off simply arriving later when Heart was scheduled to appear on the main stage. However, the price I paid for the tickets should have allowed me to see and enjoy all the bands and not simply the headliners. I have attended other Jack shows in the past and was always quite pleased with my experience. This was terrible, but my review is purely the result of how it was organized rather than the quality of the bands.

You've heard it all before. They short staffed the facility and screwed the consumer.

The bands were great, but in a thinly veiled attempt to force people to buy from the concessions rather than simply walking past them, the organizers only let us sit in the seats for the last two bands and wouldn't let people bring in their own food and drinks. We were forced to stand among the concessions for most of the show. Hint for the organizers: don't charge $13 for a beer and maybe you won't have to try to force people to buy it. Dramarama, Sir Mix-a-Lot, and Everclear deserved better. They sounded great, but we couldn't actually see them. Heart was amazing; Ann Wilson's voice is still strong, and you'd never know that the guys from Def Lepppard are in their fifties. A great concert ruined by Live Nation's greed and stupidity. I'm disappointed that Jack-FM lent their name to this fiasco.

I saw Def Leppard at Irvine Meadows saturday night and and as usual they were fantastic. Heart opened for them and they were much better than i had expected. looking foward to the next time Def Lep is in town.

This was my 1st Jack show and it was a blast! BUT.... I didn't like the side stage for the other bands. Why couldn't they all be on one stage? Heart and Def Leppard were great!!!

Even though I had to stand in heels to watch my fav bands from the 80's and 90's, Dramarama, Sir Mix-a-lot, Marcy Playground and Everclear, they rocked! My husband and I were a little miffed we couldn't sit down until Heart was about to come on, but the sidestage acts blew Heart away, anyway, and then Def Leppord rocked the arena!!!! They were awesome! Great day!

I have nothing against any of the earlier bands but am moving so only was able to get to see Def Leppard & Heart. Been a fan of both since before many of you were probably born but I love the fact they are still out there playing music that sounds as good today as it did when the songs were new (and believe me there are plenty of bands with awesome songs that are just too dated to listen to without pain today).

I took my 19 and 20 year old daughter and son to experiance some real Rock and Roll... They are now BIG Def Leppard fans, and the older croud made it a GREAT day.

I loved the tribute bands they chose, except Pat Benatar & Michael Jackson ones, but I didn't like the fact I had to pick and choose which bands to watch and miss out on others. There were several bands playing at the same time so I couldn't see them all. Also on 2 of the stages there was no place to sit like on the main stage where you had grass. The Pat Benatar singer was off key and I left during the 3rd song of Whos Bad because he was singing non hits. I love the others I was able to see. I definitely would have been pissed if I'd paid for seats and didn't sit in them due to moving stages.

This is our 2nd year to go and it was a blast! Led Zepplica and Back in Black were SOLID!! Most other bands were also freakin' great! I would love to see Atomic Punks (Van Halen) added back to the lineup next year. Overall it was a great time for cheap and memories were definitely made.

We got there early and had no trouble parking or standing in line. "Tribute Bands" have a stigma - "they're not as good as the real thing". Well, the lineup of bands that Jack's FM put together for us was spectatular. I would call out the tributes to Kiss, Led Zep, GNR, Def Leppard and AC/DC as particularly spot-on - 3 beers and you don't know you're not at the real thing. It's 6 to 7 hours of 17 of the most talented tribute bands in the country - something for everyone - concession stands were easily accessible and well-stocked, 12 oz beers were four bucks, there was plenty of concert food to choose from including pizza, burgers and hot dogs. Can't recommend it enough. We'll be back.

My Observations: Largest Group The Ultimate Stones (Rolling Stones) not only had the prerequisite Mick, Keith, Ron, Bill and Charlie but also a female vocalist, keyboardist and saxophone player. The band very much looked the part with mophead Ron in yellow shirt and blazer and frizzy haired Keith with his iconic headband and paisley print shirt, often playing with fake cigarettes in their mouths. And I could have sworn they found a 50 s+ gray haired guy to play the drums as Charlie very good makeup indeed. Although Mick had all the stage mannerisms of what is now the 69 year old Jagger he had neither the English accent nor vocal range of the real deal and that tended to distract from what was very good musicianship. The female vocalist brought the crowd to its feet with her superb chorus in Gimme Shelter and she deserved it. Biggest Surprise Those of us that have been listening to Led Zeppelin for the past 40 years know that it takes some heavy duty talent to approach the vocal onslaught that was Robert Plant in his prime. However his Led Repplica counterpart did quite well and much better than I had expected on even demanding parts of Whole Lotta Love and Kashmir . I was left somewhat unfulfilled when they didn t do Black Dog , but understand that you can t do everything in a short set. Plus they opened with Rock And Roll and if that doesn t increase your heart rate by 75%, there s something wrong. Best Look Alikes: Rock And Roll Over, the KISS cover band. You would have sworn you were being entertained by Gene, Paul, Ace and Peter. What was really likable was that Paul not only looked like Paul but actually talked and interacted with the audience like Paul did/does even going so far as smashing a guitar at the end of the performance (but not the preferred flying vee that he and the real Paul prefer to use during shows). And, Gene had the physical attributes we all expect of a Gene (long tongue which the crowd got to see) but even did the drooling of blood that is the Gene trademark. As a card carrying member of the KISS Army, I can tell you it definitely was a good show. Best All Around: Back In Black the AC/DC cover band. This is about the 4th time I ve seen these guys and they are the bomb . This is what these guys do for a living and they ve honed their act over the past several years to a knife edge. Not only do they look the part (i.e. Angus in his Australian school boy uniform complete with shirt/tie, jacket and shorts, to Brian Johnson in his trademark muscle tee and beret, but also Malcolm and Phil with their long straight hair) but their performance is spot on to a real AC/DC concert (of which I ve seen 3). The act begins with Angus on an elevated scissors lift playing the opening riffs of Thunderstruck . Brian sounds just like the real Brian. Angus is in constant motion, running around, rocking/marching in place and doing his famous outstretched leg duckwalk , running in circles while lying on the stage, all while playing the lead guitar at a feverish pace. One of the signature moves in an AC/DC performance is a striptease that Angus does in an extended play version of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap . Anybody who s been to an AC/DC concert knows that when Angus gets down to just his short pants, that when he lowers these you re going to see he s wearing Union Jack flag-style underwear. Don t know if our faux Angus had a wardrobe malfunction or if he doesn t believe in wearing underwear (a la Brittany Spears) but we got mooned. Oh, by-the-way, only an AC/DC obsessed fan or someone who has spent way too much time listening to head banging rock \u2018n roll would know that Angus and Malcolm got the name for Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap from watching Dudley Do-Right cartoons where villain Snidley Whiplash had business cards with that saying on them. But, the highlight of the show is the live Scottish bagpiper that accompanies and trades licks with Angus on It s A Long Way to the Top (If You Want to Rock n Roll) . Makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up in its rock beauty. Between main stage setups, I did see some decent renditions of One Way or Another by Blonde Day (Blondie), Clocks by 42 (Coldplay) and White Wedding and Rebel Yell by Really Idol (Billy Idol). Decent acts for sure. In wrap-up: Cost of ticket: $20.42 Cost for parking: $15.00 Cost for beer: $41.25 Listening to some of my favorite music performed live by some very capable musicians: Darn near priceless.

Ruined the show for the bands and audience on the main stage. Great lineup. I felt sorry for them.

Concert had alot to see, but some bands were more fun to look at than to listen to. I liked KISS the most probably because they were very much like the actual band. Led Zepplin cover band was freakin amazing too. On the negative side I did not like the blatant Satanic lyrics in the ACDC songs. You would think since kids were there that they would have chosen different songs from them. Grade B-

Jack FM found some of the best tribute bands and did a terrific job of diversifying them over 3 stages. The place was packed, but it never felt like it because of the movement between 3 stages. Awesome concert experience and well worth the ticket price!!

All the bands were fantastic but some of them should have been on the Main Stage (Hysteria, Strangelove)- we bought seats but didn't sit in them because we spent more time at the other stages. The East and West stages had some audio problems now and then but overall this was a really great event. Thank you for not doing this in the middle of July/August!

The Gin Blossoms were OK,but their music sounded too much alike.MC Hammer had people dancin but rap is not my thing.Toto and Pat Benatar was great but it was really hard to hear the guitar leads on all of Totos and a good part of Neil Gerardos leads.They finally fixed (or mixed) the sound right at the end of benatars set. Joe Walsh was awesome in his guitar playing

This was an outstanding show. So much fun and we did not miss any of the performers this time. We wanted to see them all and they did not disappoint.

I took my daughters ages 28 and 16 to the concert. Everyone had a great time. The food was good/ the booths were inviting. A little too hot but what can you do about the weather! Can't wait for next year.

Great line up Jack. I had a great time. Missing Persons is always great. Not to thrilled about Gin Blossoms.

Great evening of music as the sun and heatwave faded into the sea. Pat Benatar and Neil Geraldo rocked the night. Toto had a cool set that should have been louder and MCHammer was far too loud. Joe had some great new tunes, but spent a lot of time jammin out and the night was getting long for the self-indulgence. Definitely love the Jack shows AAA+++

joe walsh was amazing. very little time in between bands. pat benetar was great, as was toto. mc hammer needed some practice. he needed better sound people and some preparation

Several bands were good, but Joe Walsh was hardly a headliner. Left as he was playing. Next year, try to get the GoGos!!!!

Greatest way to put a collaboration of great artist in one venue on one day!

The best performance was Pat Benatar and she needed to have a longer set time. Jack needs to book more of the more popular bands that they play on their radio station if they want to sell out the venue like they used to when they first started this show. ToTo and MC Hammer were entertaining. We left in the middle of the set of the last act.

All of the bands rocked. Missing Persons was great, Pat Benatar sounded amazing, but MC Hammer was awesome. He had his dancers come out in the audience and hand out roses. It was the loudest thing I have ever heard in my life.

I was extremely disappointed that I paid alot of money for my seats, to only see Heart and Def Leppard on the big stage!! BIG mistake, you are going to lose alot of loyal concert goers next year. That was my 5 th show, and i have to say the worst. very sad.....:((((

I didn't like the two stage set up, It was pretty lame. And everyone played well except the band I wanted to see. Def Leopard sucked!!!

As a four show attendee, I was happy with all the bands that played, but very displeased with the way the event was handled. Being partialy disabled with walking and standing becoming ever increasingly difficult, I found the lack of seating very uncomfortable and it was so very obvious that the point be forced was to spend, spend , spend. In years past we were able to bring a one gallon zip lock bag with snacks\\food and 1 liter of water, not this year. In fact I was forbidden to bring my meerschaum smoking pipe and tobacco in, however I did not find any for sale, That sucked big time. To even consider attending any shows in the future, I would have to sent tickets for free!!!!

concert was rockin, but what was up with that seating thing? pay $100 for a seat and then be told you can't sit in it till 7? and nowhere to hang in courtyard. would have continued the tailgating but no re-entry. have been to all the jackfests but this could turn me off to them for good. were they trying to get you to spend more $$'s by locking yo out of the amphitheater. everyone I was around was pretty ticked off!!!!!!!!!!!

it's too bad the way this venue was handled this year! i've been to all 6 shows and this was bad. i'm not talking about the music. what i heard of the music was great. i'm talking about how they let us in at 3pm and not into our seats until 7 pm. every other year we were able to bring in a clear bag of food and 1 unopened water bottle. we took our bag back to car, hurried and ate and drank and got back in to find that the reason behind not being able to bring in food was they had us locked out of our seats to make money on concessions. i think they should of made it clear that all the under case bands were going to be playing on stage where concession stands were. we missed out on Marcy's Playground, Drama rama and Everessence(spelling????) We caught the end of Sir Mix Alot. I paid for 6 Acts and only truly saw and heard 2. Should of told the public up front that this was how they were handling it this year, different from all the past years. It's nice to have a seat to sit and listen to the music. Not everyone is game for sitting on the ground and to be honest, with all those people in the concession area, well let's just say i saw the hat booth get ripped off due to the number of people.

Why Jack, WHY??? The only reason you are getting 2 stars instead of "0" stars is because Heart & Def Leppard were great! This standing crap was uncalled for! I could have paid this, went to a nice venue like Hollywood Bowl & saw Heart & Def Leppard & not had to stand to see a bunch of mediorce bands! I will not tix again if you try to pull this off next time-fair warning!

The big stage was great. The small stage had poor sound and no seating.

I was so excited to go to this show. I had never seen def leopard before and I was looking forward to it since I bought the tickets. I was not disappointed. The concert exceeded my expectations. Def leppard was amazing, fantastic and just plain GREAT!! I was really impressed with the way they incorporated Steve Clark in the video montage during Photograph. Can't wait to see them again!!!!

The fact that I payed $171.00 for Loge seats and then had to sit on the grass next to the taco vendor while watching the majority of the concert on a second side stage with horrible sound really pissed me off as well as everyone around me. At Jack's 5th show, I got to sit in the seats I paid for the entire show as I enjoyed all the bands from my seats! This 6th show was not the case. Whoever organized this set up should be fired. I will not be attending anymore of Jacks shows because of it. The whole sound system turned off during Dramarama's first song, Everclear is a great band but sounded like crap due to poor quality sound, and stumbling drunk idiots spilling beer on us as they tried to make thier way to the beer stands was not what I paid for. If I wanted lawn seats I would have saved some money and bought lawn seats. Thanks JACK! You've really out done yourself this year......

The side stage bands & activities before the headliner(s) was better than expected. Jack did not overdo the self promotion. The crowd was polite (we were a good herd) and the most diverse age group for a senior citizen concert (really-2009 Def Leppard concert was 40+). There were a lot of empty seats, in blocks, so confused why not a sellout. Heart gave a great performance as did Def Leppard (2 headliners for price of one) plus the side stage bands were good. The sound quality was very good, as it usually is at this venue, (except Journey et al it was terrible).

I would not not recommend the side stage next year but understand for business purposes why we were all in the side stage area until 7:30. There was too many of us in there. I paid 'Loge' prices, but only felt I received 20% of my expenditure.

If not the worses concert i ever gone too, they had us packed in there like sardines to watch the other bands (besides hart and def leporad). I could not hear the music from where I was standing and it appeared the way it was set up, was too make more money at the concession stands (cold beverage). I have appeared at previous jack shows and will probably not be attending anymore due to the lack of fan base experience. Bottom line! it's all about making money for marketing this event, i get it.

Heart was great, but we did not like having to wait 4 hoursto get to our seats. Also we did not like not seeing they other bands on the main stage.

Although Heart and Def Leopord rocked it on the main stage. I was disappointed that the other acts who were also worthy of the main stage were given 15 min. each on the side stage. I suspect, the show are set up this way, to keep us outside, closer to vendors.

Loved the outdoor venue. Didn't appear to be a bad seat in the place. My seats were awesome.

I've been to the last three Jack concerts. They have all been a great time. There have been bands I had not paid any attention to in previous years that ended up being my favorite of the show. HOWEVER, this did not happen this year as only two bands played on the 'grown up' stage. I paid for a show which was advertised to include Dramarama, Marcy Playground, Everclear, Sir Mix a Lot, Def Leppard and Heart. The first four bands only got to perform on the 'kids' stage' and I was not able to see or even hear them. The seats I paid to sit in, while listening to and watching the concert I had thought, were not even available until after 7pm. I can only guess those first four bands were good as the people who were STANDING in the sun watching them seemed to be enjoying the show. There was no more room even if I did want to stand, which I did NOT, so I went to sit on a small hill to the side of the little stage. We were told we could not sit there as it was considered the backstage area. So, we were made to get up and move, TEN FEET, to little further back because somehow that was better. Heart and Def Leppard were both good, but it was not advertised as a Heart and Def Leppard concert. I'm disappointed by Jack and the lame excuse for a concert they falsely advertised as including 6 bands. People should have their money returned. Speaking of money, I didn't buy expensive seats, but on our grassy knoll we sat by some folks who had paid for the EXPENSIVE seats in front in the amphitheater. They were not pleased at all either. But regardless of the cost of the tickets, if the show was billed as featuring six bands, it should include six bands on a stage that can be viewed from the seats the audience purchases.

Heart rocked the house! It was the rest of the venue that sucked!!!!!! Why was Sir Mix a Lot and Everclear on that side stage, where you couldn't even enjoy the music. Bad Layout and they need to go back to the old format.
