Candyrat Guitar Night

Not sure what review said about Ewan Dobson, he was incredible. Clearly the reviewer knows nothing about the guitar. Excellent show, great venue, godd ticket prices. Could meet the artists, very friendly, enjoyed the show!

Excellent- three terrific young guitarists (Trevor Gordon Hall, Craig D'Andrea, and Gareth Pearson) , with somewhat different styles, playing with enthusiasm even to a small (too small given the quality of the show) audience. Met them afterwards- they are all great to talk to, and not at all full of themselves. I will look for them again on tour. I've been listening to their CDs since the show.

Outstanding series of versatile solo guitarists, each very different from the other but powerful in their own respects.

Guys lined up around the block an hour ahead for a show that was less than half capacity, that's devotion. Man, I thought I was a guitar nerd! However, I was touched (a little, and if I ever find out who touched me, I'm coming after you). Great show, amazing guitar playing. Gareth's dancing is not to be rivaled. All 4 guys were strange in their own unique way, but Ewan Dobson is a freakin' machine. As a lover of guitar spectaculara, I highly recommend going to see these guys when they come to your area. An unparalleled experience of musical skill and virtuosity such the like you cannot find in traditional bands. Truly an experience not to be missed. Ewan Dobson is a machine and deserves to be hailed as a god.

The show at Shank Hall was tremendous, with some virtuoso guitar playing. Great to see four very different styles on the display. The venue was also great, with no bad seats in the house. Our only small complaint is that Antoine Dufour wasn't there as advertised. Nonetheless, a great show.

I can't say enough about the concert in Cincinnati, OH on Tuesday night. Everyone did an awesome job playing and I couldn't keep from smiling and tapping my toes the entire night.

This was an awesome show! Craig D'Andrea was very entertaining and is extremely talented. Ewan Dobson can't be human with his finger speed. Gareth Pearson had a short but sweet performance. The night wrapped up with Stefano Barone mixing up a few of his songs and using his guitar to simulate a full band with his phrase looper. Each artist was available to sell his own CD and personalize it with an autograph. I'll definately catch these guys again if they come back.

Gareth Pearson was the only reason this show got 3 stars instead of 1. Not sure why Ewan Dobson is on this tour. All he does is repeatedly run up and down scales.
