The McDonald's choir showcase was phenomenal! Not only was it a pleasure to see choirs from the area of all ages and denominations, Anthony Brown and Tasha Cobbs brought us together with unrestricted worship! It was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to of any kind! I hope they're back soon!

This year's showcase was pale in comparison to last year's show! It had way too much talking from promoters, host and interviewer. The local choirs were very limited in time and seemed rushed. Dr. Dorenda Clark-Cole, was more of a cameo appearance than a concert performance; in other words she just showed up for a check! However, Hezekiah Walker was fantastic and the one of a few bright spots of this lack-luster show.

The most exciting event I think for the Low country. Praising God from on High. Praise God from Whom all blessings Flow. A great way for one body, sound and soul to come together and Give God thanks. You don't want to miss this great event. Thanks to the sponsors.

The showcase is an event that should be on every music lovers calendar. Because it's an annual event it should be anticipated every year. Great entertainment and a wonderful time of worship.

I am absolutely impressed with the creative genius behind the McDonald's Choir Showcase. The diverse amount of information, talent, and fun provided is nothing short of OUTSTANDING! And as if OUTSATANDING was not enough, the brilliant minds responsible for the Showcase catapulted the event to Life Changing by requesting God to be the STAR of the show. The question is indeed, What will they think of next?!

Love Tina Campbell....she always put on a great performance. It was my first time seeing Anthony Brown and I love his music. Would be so cool if all of these celebrities Tina and Erica Campbell and Anthony Brown and Tye Tribett and Kirk Franklin and Tamela Mann with David Mann hosting and doing a comedy scene would all be there at one time. Otherwise it was a great show and I wouldn't mind going again.

This was my first time attending even though I have purchased tickets in the past to send others. I decided to be blessed this year and it was an phenomenal experience. Anthony Brown always takes me to another level in my spiritual walk. I came to hear him. I will not miss another showcase. Tia....God will continue to bless you and your husband.

Pros: Entertainment for reasonable price Venue was nice Multiply vendors with samples Recognition of sponsors Variety of choir types (songs) Loved Jermaine Dolly (should be the host) Casey J Brother J 517 Cons: Started 1/2 hour late Video vignettes did not flow with program Too much self promotion Ran too long Several comments were offensive and judge mental by Tina Brewer-Footman i.e. Calling Ophrah a Scientologist, comparingPentecostal worship to AME worship, comments on Brother J Who won??!

Every choir brought something great to their performance. I particularly enjoyed Jonathan McReynolds' performance. He sang 2 songs. We left early but it started early.

This was an awesome experience. This was already a memorable day as it marked my 47th birthday. I took my 12 year old niece and we truly enjoyed, in fact she is already talking about next year, her only request is that I purchase our tickets earlier so we may have a better seat.

As a past attendee of the MCS, I found this equally enjoyable. I admit, that it tended to run a little long for those of us that had to be to work the next day, but it was all worth it. It was all about ministry. In everything God got teh glory!! Tia was her usual bright and bubbly self. Loved George Sink! The choirs were out of this world. We have so much awesome talent here in the Lowcountry.

The event started ON TIME! The format was great, one could tell that a lot of hard work and professionalism went into putting everything together. My only complaint was that after a while it was a little warm and I went in search of a water fountain and could not find one, there were drinks on a table but I was told they were for the choir members.

All of the choirs were wonderful! Sheri Jones-Moffett was incredible, but Tamela Mann really ministered to us. The event was well-planned. My only complaint was the last start. This event started later than planned because the event prior ran over. Other than that everything was perfect.

This was my first attendance. The Headliner was magnificent. Every choir performed with precision, grace and excellence. I will attend next year, but please e-mail me as soon as you have locked in the date. My seating was good, but I would have preferred great. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

waiting in line in the rain for 45 minutes to get in and the show starting 1 hour late was disappointing, but Pamala Mann was worth the wait. The choirs, not so much.

I thought the event was great overall. I just thought the sound system could have been better. It was either too loud or you could hear the singer or presenters talking.Tamela is anointed woman of God, I can see it through her singing and talk. Sherry Jones-Moffet was great as well.

Soundbite
The showcase was nice. I especially loved the last last choir and Tamala Mann, how she ministered through music - Awesome! However, the downside was the lack of consideration to the ticket holders. We were left outside, standing in the rain nearly an hour before someone thought to open the door and allow the overflow into the exhibit hall area. A late start meant getting home late, getting the kids to bed late and waking up tired the next morning. I felt cheated of the better time I could of have because I, like many others, went into the show frustrated from the long, rainy wait. Also, the apology we received didn't seem authentic. It was more like blame shifting rather than expressing true sincerity. I could be wrong, but that's how it was received. All I'm saying is appreciate those who support you! We are your audience. Consider offering some type of incentive for future events when things like these happen. There may be times when you execute poor planning decisions or experience negligence of some sort. However, you need to be prepared with a positive, favorable response. Discussions of the like should be part of your planning meetings and it doesn't seem like it was an agenda topic. Understand that there are countless things that could go wrong at an event and word of mouth can hurt or help you. That's why It is important that events like these that help uphold the christain community operate in the spirit of excellence. We represent the body of Jesus Christ and we should not discount Him or those who are His in any way. Continue to be true to the work, remembering your vision always and allow it to speak in every event. May God continue to forever bless your ministry and the work of your hands!

The concert started late with my understanding that they were still doing sound check; however, the sound was not good. We could hear the musicians but not the singers. They finally improved upon that around the middle of the concert. Tamela Mann and Ms. Moffit were excellent!!. I really stayed because I wanted to hear them. I think it was just one of those mishaps that can occur. It was my first time attending and I'd still recommend the event to someone else in hopes that it would improve next year.

I really enjoyed this performance of all the chiors and the guest stars. I just wish it was a little more time for the Gospel Stars to sing some more. The Mcdonald Showcase show was good and I can not wait until next year. Not bragging, but my daugher was there singing with Joyful Praise and I really enjoyed them. All was great but Joyful Praise was even better. The ones wno is the head did a great job in placing the right choirs and the stars.

It was really nice. There were some behind-the-scenes issues--technical, mostly (sound--artists complained about the monitors and not hearing the track). The technical issues and the house lighting up (which I guess because the event was being taped to be televised at a later date) took away from the ambiance of the event. Overall, I would go again!

The performances were great. The host was awsome. The venue needs a change. Everyone had to wait in a small lobby until a few min after start This was not a place for the handicapp. No railings for all the steps. Macon has much nicer places to have concerts.
