Darius Rucker

This is my third time seeing Darius in three months. He has been outstanding at every event.

Darius is amazing and always entertaining. Each show gets better and better!!

Perfect show, rain and all! Highly recommend going if you get the chance!

The concert was awesome!! Darius sang many of his new songs, a couple from his Hootie years and several from other artists.

This man is so sincere, I dont have a big urge to meet stars, but i would truly enjoy meeting Darius. Him thanking the fans for coming out and spending there hard earned money was and showed how selfless he is. An amazing singer.

Darius Rucker put on a great show. His performance kept the crowd on their feet the entire time. Well worth the money.

the show was great...We had seen Darius before and he never fails to perform. Acoustics were a little funky up close..sounded better farther back. Winery needs to give better directions..like indicating how many miles you are on each country road...we bailed because we thought we had missed a turn and then were forever lost...missed the opening act. Darius doing Purple Reign was a highlight.

Rucker was a blast. Great show. Played pretty much his whole album and some Hootie with some other favorites mixed in.

Darius was great, James Jones was great. The general admission seats were excellent in the vinyard. Wine and food were great values and delicious. I just wish it could have lasted longer. It was a really short show

The concert was great and the location was perfect. That is the best way to see a concert. It started about 30 minutes late and I thought the concert should have been about a half hour longer. Overall though it was a great show and I would recommend this to anyone and will go back to another show. Great ending to a hectic week for us!

I thought the concery was very well done. Darius has high energy that is tansmitted to the audience thrugh his performance. He has a great, soulful voice. I also liked how he performed some of the Hootie songs. His "I wish I wrote that song" numbers were well done. His rendetion of You Should Have Seen it in Color was top notch. Darius is a very strong performer and an excellent writer. He has found his spot. Darius belongs in country. The forum at Elk Creek is great. The setting is just fantastic. With wine, music, food, etc. how can you miss? The vineard is so serene. This is a much better venue than US Bank Arena and even Riverbend. You should do more condcerts at Elk Creek. We very much like this place. We had the VIP seats. So we enjoyed a nice vantag point to have dinner and enjoy the music. Frankly, dinner is just okay., But being served like this while listening to a big name act like darius is a top shelf treat. VIPs are also allowed to walk down to the valley floor during the event. So we had the best of all worlds. In short, we would go again this evening if it were available.

From the opening note, Darius was awesome... Venue was equally nice...setting is a amphitheater in the middle of two lakes out in the country...not too many places that allow you to buy and drink bottles of wine while watching a great show. Highly recommend both

what a night. the weather was perfect and so was darius. he hit every note and was very funny. he bonded well with the concert goers.he evan came back for two encores.

The grounds were awesome, the staff wasn't quite prepared for the crowd but it was and excellent concert.

What a GREAT time! Darius really knows how to entertain a crowd. My two college kids came with me along with a couple of friends and my aunt, her granddaughter, and my college-aged niece and her boyfriend... and what a great family outing! The HOB was a great host to all the different age groups, we all had a fantastic memorable time! We have already made plans to do this again, and we are so excited! Thank you for creating wonderful family memories!

Great concert! Loved that he played some of his old stuff along with the new!

It was very hard to enjoy the concert at the very over-sold concert. My family and I was only able to stay for about 5 songs until we had to get out of there. I used to think that there were no bad seats in the HOB. Boy, was I wrong. The whole time I was there, I never actually got to see Darius "in person." I could only see him on the screen. I will definitely go to more HOB shows when it is not projected to sell out. And, I will for sure continue to go see Darius......just not at the HOB.

This show was amazing! One of my all time favorite shows EVER! He played awesome covers and some of his old Hootie stuff as well.

Darius was great. I think he's much better solo than with Hootie. Love the House of Blues, although they packed too many people in there that night.

Darius was absolutely wonderful as always! He puts on a great show and his voice is nothing but amazing! It was great to hear him do his country stuff. The only negative about the show were the fans on the floor; they were very rude and extremely PUSHY! And House of Blues should allow cameras!!!! That is crazy that they don't! But overall, a great night!

The show was awesome, not too crowded, diverse, friendly and excited about the show. The combonation of Hootie songs with the new country release was absolutely AWESOME! No matter what the critics say or anyone else Mr. Rucker is here to stay for along time!

I saw Darius for the first time at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, SC. The venue was the perfect setting for this perfect concert. Darius was an awesome performer, down to earth, and gave 110% the whole show. Being in such a small venue I was a little unsure if we were going to get our money's worth. I would pay twice the amount paid to see him again. I can't wait until he is playing close to home again!!

Darius always puts on a terrific concert !! We saw him with his band Hootie and the Blowfish, and that concert was awesome, too !!! Great songs and Great presentation !!

The concert was great! Darius Rucker came on stage and instantly connected with the audience. He is a very talented performer and I would love to see him in concert again.

We really enjoyed the music. Would love to see Darius Rucker again in concert. Would advise that you get to the House of Blues early to actually be able to "see" the person singing. It was a sell out and we never saw him, except for on the big screens, until his encore, after some people starting leaving.

Darius Rucker's show at the HOB in Myrtle Beach was terrific! He played everything off his new country album as well as a few Hootie and the Blowfish songs. The crowd seemed to know a lot of his new tunes which made it more fun. Great small venue!

I loved all the bands...of course Darius and Brett were the best and two of the kindest people as well. If you get chance go check them out. Honestly, olive them but only decided to buy tix because it was so affordable and I am so glad i did.

The show consisted of A Thousand Horses, Brothers Osborne, Brett Eldredge and it was non-stop entertainment. I thought it would be a good show, but it was GREAT! A Thousand Horses is a personal favorite as they command the stage, but all the bands were entertaining and sounded great. I wish it was a two night show, because I'd pay to go again!

Let me just say that Darius killed it! I am still a big Hootie fan and it is a "transition" to hear him going down the country road. But this isn't his first rodeo (pun intended) - the guy can entertain and gives the fans exactly what they want. A+...A Thousand Horses - great sound, 1st time seeing them, look forward to a solo club show from them. Brothers Osborne - saw them back in the fall with Little Big Town and loved them. This show wasn't as good as they didn't play a number of their songs (and they don't have that many yet) in their set - "Love the Lonely Out of You", "Arms of Fire" and "Shoot From the Hip" all missed the cut - what a shame. Continuing on with set list critique, Brett Eldredge missed the boat as well. Although he sounded great, he forgot to play what got him here..."Bring you Back", "Raymond", "Signs" (which should be released as a single it's so good) and one of Brett's personal favorites, "One Mississippi" Not sure how this happens. The worst part was at the end of his show, there was a gal holding a sign in the pit asking him to sign her Brett Eldredge hat, sharpie in hand. He actually brushed her off, went and got a hat from a roadie, signed it and through it into the crowd (as I guess he does at all of his shows), shook a couple hands and walked off. Maybe he's uncomfortable with his fans or maybe he's a pompous ass. It's disheartening when an up and comer doesn't appreciate his fans. He should watch Kenny, Tim, Garth, Jason, hell, just watch Darius! Those guys are single name megastars that shake hands, sign anything put in front of them, sign guitars and give them away and captivate their fans creating an unwavering loyalty. Brett probably still has a lot to learn;this Midwest boy from Illinois should be more connected, humble and appreciative if he really wants to take the next step in his career. He certainly turned off a number of fans Friday night.

What a great show!! Darius looked like he was having so much fun! Loved his old and new songs! Would definitely see again! Great way to start off the concert season!

I guess it's nice to give a hand up to some up and coming acts, but 3 opening acts and then a 45 minute wait for Mr Rucker to come out..was just a tad to much to ask the crowd, on this glorious Spring outdoor evening. The setting was perfect, great crowd, not sold out however, but good size non the less. Unfortunately the wait time for final act was a too long! Not sure if they were wanting late arrivals to show or filler crowds to come in but finally at approximately 9:20 the show was on..Darius has outstanding energy and loves his Atlanta base! Long time fans from the Hootie days enjoyed his cross over adventure as well. Sadly his voice didn't match his energy, he was sounding hoarse and the Hubby noted that one of his players was off key as well. Just not a fatanbulous outing for this usually rocking guy!

Darius puts on a great show. His band is amazing. He does his country stuff, but also a few Hootie hits as well! He sounds just as good live as on his recordings. Tickets weren't cheap but I felt I got my money's worth! He played for 3+ hours.

Great concert. Darius Rucker is always good, no matter what genre of music he is presenting. But the once-a-year big band concert for MUSC Children's Hospital is such a great opportunity to hear him do something different. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves his voice -- or wants to support a great cause.

He was so personable and sang everything from his old days with Hootie and the Blowfish to all of his new material !!! He was Great, and the act before David Nails was good too!! Played his heart out and the audience loved it!!!

Great concert with Darius Rucker and Jennifer Nettles! And we even got to stay in the hotel on the base! This is an annual event so we will be watching for next year!

Best concert I have been to in a long time! Although it was blazing hot and stormy the show and artist were awesome! A thousand horses played first (awesome!), then Sam Hunt (he totally rocked the show!!), Cassadee Pope (amazing voice), then David Nail (unbelievable) and then Darius Rucker (totally, awesomely mind-blowing). All the performers were really into the show and did a fantastic job! The set up at the arsenal was easy to get into and out of. Only one small complaint and that was the portable chairs that were brought in by everyone. It would have been nicer if they designated the front near the stage for people who wanted to stand and moved the chairs back a little. Other than that, heat, rain and all MIND BLOWING CONCERT!

It was a long Sunday afternoon. Concert started at 3:30 and ended around 10:00. of the opening acts I enjoyed Sam Hunt and Cassadee Pope. David Nail was okay and I really didn't care for A Thousand Horses. It was a long afternoon leading up to the star attraction but was well worth it. I thoroughly enjoyed Darius Rucker's songs. He put on a good show and seem to be having fun and enjoyed entertaining us.

This was the best show I have been to in a very long time. I went with some friends and family members and we all had a blast. The casino was awesome as well.

I would def go see him again if he came back anywhere close to where I live. He really rocked and I love the way he brought in the mix of music he sang when he was with Hootie and The Blowfish.It was great.

We came for Darius Rucker but were absolutely blown away by the opening act, Eli Seals. Can't wait to see that band again!

I hadn't been to a concert in a long time - But WOW! I totally enjoyed myself. It was HOT - Literally but I enjoyed myself so much I didn't mind the sweltering southern heat - Anyway I was raised here, we expect it. What I didn't expect was for the show to be so well organized - After all it was FREE and a Major Act. Thanks for the opportunity to get me out of the house and back to enjoying great talent.

He brought everything to the show! He did all his country hits then his Hootie hits! His performance was awesome and worth the trip! He closed with a rendition of Purple Rain that was so good it would put Prince to shame!

DARIUS RUCKER'S PERFORMANCE AT THE GREAT LAWN/HARRAH'S - BILOXI WAS INCREDIBLE. EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS 11,000 IN ATTENDANCE, THE EVENT RAN SMOOTHLY, THE SOUND WAS TOP NOTCH! THE ONLY THING I WOULD ADD IS BIG SCREENS ON EACH SIDE OF THE STAGE THAT WOULD ENABLE THOSE AT A GREAT DISTANCE FROM THE STAGE TO SEE!

Darius Rucker and the other groups ahead of him were fantastic. We had a great time. I would so go to more outside events. Enjoyed it much more than if it were inside too. Darius played music from the past and the present. Darius also played a little Hank and a little Prince.He has so much personality and huge stage performance. He super talented. We took our daughter and a friend - who are kinda into country and they had the time of their lives. Now they are big fans of him too. The crowd was pleasant. Parking was free, concert was free, we took our lawn chairs. It was a highlight family event for us. We really had a great time with family, friends and fantastic entertainment. Thank you so much.

Great place for an outdoor concert! The music was great, the view of the water was great, and the sound was also very good no matter where you set up your lawn chair!

This was my first concert I have every been to and it was so amazing I cried when he sang wagon wheel, it was so amazing and I love how he sounds the same love as he does on the radio, he was honestly perfect and so was his band, they all click super we'll together and it makes it that much more fun to watch!!

He put on one heck of a show, singing a lot of his all time hits, mixed in with a Hootie song and even a prince song. WOW is all we can say. He ROCKS!

All you'd expect from both darius albums plus all of hooties greatest hits. Encore was Wagon wheel and purple rain. Really? Freaking amazing!

My friend and I had beat the line and pit tickets for Darius Rucker. We arrived at 3 PM when the show started at 8. We were first in line. We were the very first ones in and got up RIGHT in front. Darius put on an amazing show AND I got his guitar pick thrown at me!

Darius was AMAZING we were not disappointed at all. Very down to earth.

Darius is a stand up guy. I love all his songs even from his days as Hootie. Almost all of his songs have positive messages. This guy would be fantastic even without his band.

The opening band was Midland & they were so awesome. Very talented. I could have gone home happy after their hour long show but I'm glad I didn't because Darius put on awesome show. He did a variety of songs from different artists & genres. He also brought out a veteran who volunteers with a program that gives wounded veterans a new home & he presented that to another veteran on stage (wounded warrior project???).

I have loved Darius Rucker since his days with Hootie and the Blowfish and went to see Hootie and the Blowfish a couple of times. Although I am not a huge country music fan, he is slowly transforming me into one. Darius switched up the music, from old to new and back again several times. He played to to the audience from east to west and north to south. I enjoyed the concert from the moment it started through until the end and would definitely go again. Thanks Darius for entertaining us with an unforgettable voice and the energy to keep everyone engaged and standing the entire 1 1/2 hours.

Seriously one of the best concerts I have been to! His voice is so strong, he is super personable on stage, sings with energy and passion, makes you want the concert not to end! So much talent from he and his band! Definitely NOT disappointed! I can't wait for Darius to come back to San Diego for another concert!!

Darius Rucker never fails to bring a great show to Nashville to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital! This year he graced the stage with Michael Ray, Luke Combs, Tommy Thayer of KISS, Dan & Shay, Paul Sanchez, John Oates, and special surprise artists Brooks & Dunn! I love these shows and now that it has been moved to the Ryman Auditorium, I think the crowds are larger, we are closer to the stage, and more money is being raised for St. Jude's, but it was always great at the Wild Horse Saloon too!

As usual Darius Rucker put on a great show! Even though it was the last show of the tour his voice and energy was amazing. Also the venue, Verizon Wireless Amphlitheatre at Encore Park is the best venue I have ever been to. This place needs to be duplicated over and over.

Had the VIP EXPERIENCE and it was worth every penny! Got to see him in the private meet and greet lounge and my heart did flips! Got a front row seat that was EXCELLENT and he ROCKED THAT STAGE. Love his little dance moves....sexy without trying to be. Can tell he is a 100% down to earth wonderful and honest person....and I have loved his voice since Hootie and the Blowfish! So glad his dreams have come true.....he is in my dreams and prayers daily! Love you and your beautiful family Darius!!

Hospitality was excellent and helpful staff. We missed Michael Ray's act due to the acoustic set and Meet & Greet, but Dan + Shay energized the crowd for Darius to rock the stage.

Seen Darius Rucker 8/18/16, one of the best concerts I've ever been to. He sang almost 2 hours. Definitely will see him in concert again.

The Experience in the Pit is something like no other. It was amazing and I would definitely do that again! I basically knew all the songs, so it made singing and dancing to all them so much more fun! Waiting in between sets of the singers was the hardest, especially waiting a half hour for Darius Rucker to take the stage! Michael Ray, Dan+Shay, and Darius Rucker definitely know to put on a show! They're also some very nice eye candy ;)

I saw Darius on 7/16 at Irvine Meadows. I've been a fan since Hootie came out with Cracked Rear View in 1994. I've been to too many Hootie shows to count and traveled to see them many times back in the day. When I heard the Darius solo country songs I didn't even care for country, but am glad I gave it a chance. This is my second Darius solo show at Irvine...I went last year as well. I love love love his voice and the concert was amazing! He has never disappointed, not in the 22 years that I've been a fan. I wasn't able to catch Michael Ray, but Dan and Shay were awesome! We got there early to tailgate and parked right at the entrance where you come in. That way when it's time to leave, you're right at the exit! We were out in 10 minutes. Come early and beat the traffic!! I'm so sad they are closing Irvine :( Spent many days and nights at this venue.

Darius Rucker sounded great, performed for a decent amount of time, and had great crowd interaction. He thanked the crowd for spending their hard-earned money on tickets so that he could do what he loves to do. Toward the end of the concert, he thanked the crowd again, this time for making his previously crappy day better....maybe he had a bad day, but he sure made it a great day for everyone there. Loved that the crowd stood almost the entire time. The video screens were very clear and the camera work was great. Leaving the parking lot was dicey due to the dust and unlit dirt "roads."

It was fun very comfortable affordable great time could hear the music and see everything was very nice enjoyable night

This was our 3rd concert with Darius. Heard him in Lake Tahoe as Hootie, now twice as Darius. Always an excellent performer. He loves the stage and he never disappoints!

Entire show was AMAZING! Opening acts, Michael Ray & Dan+Shay definitely came to entertain! Awesome opening acts for Darius Rucker, who knows how to entertain!

Darius Rucker sounds as great live as he does in recording. He plays a wide array of songs from his career and incorporates everything seamlessly into his set. He also bought out Michael Ray and Dan and Shay to sing with him.

The only complaint I have is the strobe type lighting that was used during the show as my daughter that was with me is a photosensitive eplleptic. I never would have guessed that type of lighting would be used at a country concert. Thankfully the staff at the venue was very accommodating and moved us so those lights were blocked from our view. Darius Rucker, David Nail, and a Thousand Horses put on an amazing show and I would definitely see them again. The show was 5 star worthy, gave 4 stars because of the lighting situation.

We had awesome seats. I wished A Thousand Horse would have had the loudness and big screens like Neal and Darius. But all in all it was AHH-MAZING!!

Loved this show! He was awesome music and sound were phenomenal! Couldn't put a higher rating to this concert or I would have! Loved him for years! He gives a great show and I love his banter with the audience! He worked the entire stage and the acts that preceded him were good too! Must see show if you love country music or just good music!

Darius was great, like always. So entertaining and his songs are the Bomb!

Rain started coming down hard, along with lightning in the area. Many ran for shelter, myself included. Yet Darius continued singing through it all (some shows have stopped to wait out the storm in the past, including the weekend prior). His set list was messed up because of this, but he still put on a great show. Epic moments include when he did "Hold My Hand" with all of the opening acts (Brett Eldredge, Brothers Osborne, and A Thousand Horses), as well as brining out the retired song (retired from his show), "Purple Rain." Definitely had a blast!

I have seen Darius multiple times in different cities and venues. He is one of my favorite artists and I look forward to any opportunity to see him in concert! The show was great, the music was awesome as always and his band is phenomenal. The venue wasn't my favorite, but that's ok. I liked that he changed up his playlist a bit, as it has been pretty similar the past few times I have seen him. The sound was good, the set list was good, the concert was the perfect length. Darius' voice was spot on as always and I really enjoyed the music. I do have to say I was disappointed on a personal level. While I get that this was a country concert, and it's the "country way" to sing about drinking, etc. I took a gamble and brought my 6 year old daughter to this show who ADORES Darius. I feel his music is appropriate for my daughter and I feel he has strong family values, which is why I encourage her love of this artist. But the past couple times I have seen Darius, he has gotten drunk on stage. It's disappointing. I guess I don't understand why an artist feels the need to do that... does it rile up the crowd more? Is it an image thing? Is it a coping mechanism? Regardless of the reason, when the artist is actually slurring their words when trying to talk to the audience and their eyes are red and bloodshot, it's not a good look. Put on top of it that his son was there with him, it made me sad. Fortunately, my daughter is not old enough to really pick up on that, but I definitely did and it left me with a sad feeling. I admire strong family values and good music that reflect that, and I felt Darius was one of those artists although now I find myself wondering. I will always love the music no matter what, but it just doesn't sit right with me when I pay money for a concert for it to be compromised by something like alcohol.

My first time at the House of Blues - great venue. Extremely down to earth staff. I am not a country fan - these tickets were a gift to my sister, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Richie Fields was a fun opener, really got the crowd going. Darius was great. Great voice, sounds just as good live as he does on records. He played some Hootie stuff, which was great for me because I knew it. All in all, a great show!

Darius Rucker puts on a show that takes the audience with him! Everyone there were already big fans, and if they weren't , they were by the end of the show. He played the best of his new work and some of his golden "hootie" stuff! House of Blues is intimate and a fun place for a show. Can't wait to see him again!

This was a great concert. Didn't want it to end & neither did anyone else. Everyone seemed to have a great time & never did Darius Rucker slow down or lose energy. He was so into it & seemed to be enjoying it as much as the fans. Place was great, was first time there for a concert but would go back again & highly recommend the place.

The show was amazing. They were very energetic from beginning to end. We can't wait for their next tour that brings them to our area

Darius Rucker has the sexiest moves on stage !! He is an awesome performer. Rodney Atkins was good, not crazy about Jana Kramer.

Red Rocks is an amazing venue that Darius Rucker rocked on Thursday! He has the greatest voice in the business. When he sang purple rain it gave me chills! Def an unforgettable concert!

The show was amazing. Everyone out on a great show and it was unforgettable. I lived that Darius included Hootie songs and he even ended with Purple Rain! I loved the atmosphere and the type of people who made the crowd. It was a fantastic fin show and I loved it!

Fantastic concert! Only a gifted artist can sing equally or even better than what's recorded in the studio. Rodney rocked it too, but I was actually impressed with Darius. Our kids' first concert and they loved it!!! Loved the country, loved the Hootie and the remakes. Great stage performance, on and on!!!

Darius played soon to be hits from his newly released cd, True Believers. His "friends" played music from decades back and also had the newest stars! Entertainer of the Year, Luke Bryan, was there too! It was an outstanding night in Nashville and the Wildhorse is the perfect venue for such an intimate event! I hope to go next year, but the tickets sold out before the concert was even announced, so I'll try to get them ordered the minute I hear about it next year like I did this year!

First off you couldn't get any closer to the stage without getting arreste haha and the concert was awesome, the support to the wounded warriors and military was always reminded throughout the show. Jana Kramer was amazing and HOT! Justin Moore put on a great show then to top it all off, Darius Rucker came out and ended the show with a bang, I never wanted to leave!! An amazin show and amazing down to earth people!

What a fantastic performance by Darius Rucker at Charter Ampitheater!!

I enjoyed hearing stuff from the new album, as well as material from the two previous albums. I especially enjoyed going back to the mid 90's with Hold My Hand and my Hootie favorite Let Her Cry. He also covered The Joker by Steven Miller Band, Hank's Family Tradition with Jana and Justin, and closed with Prince's Purple Rain.
