Jon Bon Jovi

I am a huge Bon Jovi fan, and being able to be almost at the front row of a Jon Bon Jovi concert just made my day. I was extremely excited about it, and do not regret any penny spent on my ticket. Jon was terrific, and Kings of Suburbia a great, great band. They had such a chemistry on stage that little people do. I love it, I enjoyed every moment of it and wish it had last more.

4 hits only- (2 of them he change it to blues) Bunch of covers and songs I never heard. I love Jon bon Jovi since I was 15 and Im 37. I waited 22 years for this... I spent $308 per ticket x 2= $616 to listen 4 hits and had to stand an struggle all night to see his shadow or watch the show in the screens. Well conclusion, not happy and I spoke after the show with a lottttt of people that felt the same. JON i think I deserve a Raincheck. Luv him anyway.

I did not know if i would like this type of show starting out, but it turned out well. a very intimate crowd. the venue is a small club with a bar. the sound was surprisingly good. the backup singers and horn section i loved. alot of jons fans might not like this concept, since it was just him and bobby from his band, but i liked it. its good to change things up now and then. and this was for a good cause guys. so i did not mind spending my hard earned money for it. the place was easy to get too also. for me a good thing since i get lost goin to new places, esp in JERSEY. the only thing i hated having to do was wait so long in line to get in, was freezing cold outside. but ya had to get there early to get a good spot as i did. WAS AT THE BARRICADE TO SEE JON. he seemed in a good mood also.

high energy, variety, excellent musicians...all great!!!!

For the amount of money spent on the tickets the show was too short, unspectacular, not enough "Bon Jovi" but too many covers. If I want to see a cover band I go to the pub around the corner and pay $2 for a beer instead of $350 for a ticket. Ridiculous

First class entertainment. Super show for Boomers who prefer rock'in music over screaming and bedlam.

I am a major majorJon Bon Jovi fan and have been since they started and nobody knew who they were. I see them everytime they come around. I love Jon as he is Bon Jovi, he is voice the heart and soul and stage presence. However I just wonder where he got the pick of songs he chose to sing. Still love him always will, but the song choices could have been better and the show a little bit longer. I spent $150 a ticket and was happy I did not spend the $300 for each one. Hope he comes back with the band!

I adore Jon Bon jovi, but, wish he would have played more of "Bon Jovi" music, instead of cover songs. I must say Baba OReilly (sp) was spectacular!!

This show was very intimate and in a small setting. Very crowded and standing room only so it was really up close and personal. All of the guests were great singers and really provided us with a good line up of music. Glad we took the time to fit this one in. Really let you see another side to Jon.

What a wonderful show!! However, a very cold and icy three hour wait to retreive tickets at will call and then wait in line to get into the show. There must be a better way for $250 ticket holders.

It was a great experience to see jbj in such an intimate setting...only wish it was a regular bj concert w entire band...otherwise awesome!

Worst $ ever spent for a concert, good thing it was also for charity. Perhaps my expectations were too high because it was a small venue. I do have to say Jon Bon Jovi's disposition was pleasant, which was unexpected.

What a rare opportunity to see Jon close up and personable! His Set List was made up of Classic Rock & Roll Standards from a multitude of Artists from Rock to the Blues. His show was supported by an outstanding group of back up singers whom all in their own right could carry a show of their own. Each of the back up singers performed both duets with Jon and individual performances of old time classics to perfection! A set with South Side Johnny brought the house to a frenzy, giving an incredible Jersey's Own performance. Jon's band was made up of outstanding artists whose names we missed due simply to the fact that as Jon introduced the individuals, he did so forgetting that the ballroom was packed to the rafters with fans and a little more volume in his voice would have been greatly appreciated! I hope that we will read reviews or an entertainment write up what will give full credit where credit is due, so everyone can learn the names of these talented artists and enable us to follow these talents in the future. The final set (which seemed to come all too soon) contained a number of "Jon Bon Jovi band" hits which the crowd joined with great vocal enthusiasm! The show was fantastic and a percentage of the door went to Charity which made it all the more enjoyable. Cudos to the folks that cleared the 18 inches of snow from the Parking Lots so we could all enjoy the performance Thursday night. My only complaint was that the Starland Management waits too long to open the doors! Not simply to warm up and enjoy a adult beverage, but get into the place before the show actually started! The line stretched completely around the entire Starland Ballroom and we were still 1/4 around the side of the building when Jon took the stage! We would all have probably enjoyed being inside before Jon took the stage and not had to spend well over an hour outside in the slush and mud to Will Call our tickets. Otherwise the show and Jon Bon Jovi was amazing!

Seeing Jon Bon Jovi in a small, intimate venue was amazing. He sounded great and the band he assembled for the show was incredible. All of the performances were excellent. I loved the choice of songs they performed. There were enough Bon Jovi hits to please the die hard fans, and some great cover songs that Jon & the band jammed on that were awesome. Jon seemed relaxed & like he was having a great time. He put in a 100% all star effort to support the charity the event was supporting. My only complaint was with the few overserved people in the crowd who were pushing others for a closer look and just being annoying in general. A few well placed security people to help with crowd control would have helped.

Well, the snow made parking a challenge, and the will call tickets created long lines to get in, but the band was cool. They waited an extra 1/2 hour to begin so that every ticketholder wouldn't miss any of the show...THANKS!!!! Jon was relaxed and seemed to have so much fun... It was great to see him sing with various people. Southside Johnny and Bobby B were GREAT! They played Bon Jovi songs and the whole place sang along...fun! There was a variety of old songs, all sung well. My feet didn't stop moving! This was for a great cause, it felt good to help. Seeing Jon was a bonus!

The show was amazing ! Anyone who loves to see Jon Bon Jovi sing would have loved this show. Although he only played about 5 Jovi songs we knew going into it that Jon would be singing alot of covers for this event. I love to see him having fun and singing out of the "norm" . Southside Johnny joined him onstage for an unforgettable evening of wonderful music for a great cause !

Despite the fact that I had to wait outside, once inside, Jon with the help of his friends, put on an awesome show (first half classic covers, second half bon jovi songs), the show was exppensive but I had piece of mind knowing the money was going to help families in need. JON, YOU'RE MY FAVE JERSEY BOY!!!

Amazing performances by everyone! Set List Awesome!

This concert was amazing. He was so relaxed and it was so entertaining with all the different performers and the large band. I was able to see Jon so close and the venue was not large at all. So anywhere was a great place to stand. I would recommend this concert to anyone. Tickets were slightly more than an arena concert and this was mostly tax deductible. Awesome time!!!

It was great to see Jon in this intimate setting, but getting the tickets was horrific. Purchased my 2 tickets for $275.00 each and had to stand in the freezing cold on the snow and ice for 2 1/2 hours just to get my tickets from the will call window, then had to stand in another line to get in. I was trying to stay positive in anticipation of seeing Jon play up close and personal. I have seen him atleast 20 in the past 25+ years and really enjoy him. I was also happy to be helping out the Parker Family Health Center....it's a great cause. He did not play alot of his music, and his friends sang more than he did (it seemed), but the worst was that the event was supposed to be from 7:30-10:30, according to the website and he went on at 8 and was off by 9:45. I don't know whose mistake that was, but I was very dissapointed. We stood outside longer( for tickets that were already paid for) then he played! I still love Jon and what he stands for and will continue to see him in the future, but I think I would have much rather just made a donation to the Health Center.

AMAZING evening of talented musicians.....Jon sounded awesome backed by terrific singers and musicians.....some of the duets were remarkable.....he sang a Stones tune with a great female singer....did a great rendition of the Beatle's song, Help and I also enjoyed the singer,Ray who did a solo.....great night for a great cause!!

Wouldn't miss another venue like this, ever! Jon, Bobbie, Southside Johnny, and friends offered a setlist that had the crowd "Jazzed up". Was wonderful that Jon shared the stage with such talent (not only each that sang their songs, but the back up singers, as well as the musicians). Thanks to everyone involved for offering: Great sound, great fun, great friends, and a wonderful purpose!

Jon Bon Jovi was great. He was personable, entertaining and almost made you feel like he was singing just to you in his basement. He sang from his heart for this charity. He made the evening enjoyable and I would go to another concert like this. The fact that the venue was small made it easy to see from everywhere, unless the person in front of you was 6 ft tall. His "friends" were also entertaining except not as well known except for South Side Johnny, et al. If would have been nice to know who all the band members were, but that was part of the "friends". It did take some time before he started to sing his own songs, but it was great to hear him do Dave Clark 5, Beatles, etc in his own style. My ONLY complaint was the Starland Ballroom. Due to the snow, chaos was the word of the day. I had to wait on line over 2 hrs in 34 degree weather to get my wristband. There was no one in charge of directing people, so some folks who got there late went directly to the ticket/wristband line in front of those of us who had been waiting for hours. If this is how they run things I would NEVER go to an event there again. It was horrendous. I don't blame Jon, I blame the management. I almost left. I understand the doors weren't to open until 6:30 but due to the weather conditions exceptions should have been made and there should have been a better ticket delivery system.

This concert was a one of a kind, unique experience. Jon looked like he was a having a great time singing lots of cover songs. The sound quality was great and I could easily see the stage from a platform area near one bar. I actually had a chance to touch Jon and said Hi as he occasionally took breaks and left the stage. What a thrill! The downside....it was ridiculous waiting in line for a wrist band and then waiting in another line to then get in. Luckily, I got my wristband early in the day and when I got there later, had a much shorter line to wait to enter. We were told we could get in at 6:30, but it was much later. Lines for people to get wristbands literally wrapped around the parking lot. This is pathetic, considering tickets were expensive and it seemed most people there were die-hard Bon Jovi fans. Should have been treated much better!!

For all the hype I think it was a let down. Bon Jovi is a great performer but we sat outside in the cold for 45 minutes and then the show seemed very short. The tickets were expensive but at least they go to a fundraiser.

Ive seen several concerts at the Hard Rock, I always thought that the reason for the poor vocals was the bldg. itself. BUT, after hearing Bon Jovi I know thats not the case. I grew up in N.Y. in the 80's, I have seen Bon Jovi several times , He is the consumate musician. His vocals are outstanding and the band was phenominal . It was well worth the money and It reminded me of my youth. Jon Bon Jovi rocks and probably always will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have a chance, see this concert.

Bon Jovi's concert was a great experience but he could have played more of his old tunes. He ended with a song that was not as catchy- he could have ended with one of his golden hits and left on a much higher note. He sang songs from various artists, which was great! He has great presence - no matter what!

Didn't play the normal version on Living on a Prayer. He played a short, slow version. Very disappointed.

Jon Bon Jovi is still awesome. We would have given 3.5 stars. The concert was a little short and while we knew that it was him solo, it would have been nicer to at least end the concert with a strong/fun Bon Jovi song. Other band members so-so, fine but not as memorable or talented as the Bon Jovi band of course.

Bon Jovi's vocals were great but charging top dollar and playing cover songs half the show was weak.

I just wished he would had sang more of his stuff, missed "it's my life" , we still enjoyed it so much he is still awesome after all these years. Love you Jersey Boy!!!!!

Having been to many Bon Jovi shows at various size venue's this one was really special. The small venue, the good seats (all were) and the performance rocked! Jon put his heart and soul into every song and I thought it was very classy to let others in the group sing, play and take center stage at times. He had the audience on their feet and in his hands the whole time. It was awesome! Thanks to everyone who got the show together, to the band and singers and especially thanks to Jon for coming to South Florida and spending a night with us! It rocked! PS Venue was a bit hot (a/c wise) or it could have just been the show!!!

Jon never disappoints!! Even when he switches it up & jams with another band. It was like he dropped into a bar & just jammed. Some of Bon Jovi staples & some of the songs they don't typically play. Was great to hear something different. The cover songs Queen, David Bowie, Aretha Franklin were a great nod to what he likes. Not everything he does must be typical Bon Jovi-this was a great little shake up. Can't wait to see him again with the new album & tour.

I have been going to Bon Jovi concerts for over 25 years and he never disappoints! Awesome concert, great sound at the Hard Rock. Can't wait to see him for 25 more years!

Jon sounded fantastic as usual and the Kings proved to be more than a mere back-up band. They played the usual Bon Jovi hits and then some. The cover tunes they played were very well executed, I think one of the best was Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman, but there was Aretha(Chain of Fools) and the Stones(Sympathy for the Devil) and much more!! If you want a good time show than this is it. I would highly recommend !!

I have been to many Bon jovi shows and all have been awesome. This show was missing the band and you could tell. There was no chemistry. Jon sounded great but just wasn't the same. If he was going to play alone he should have played acoustic. If you ever get a chance to see the whole band together you should one of the best shows. I didn't like Jon by himself. I'm still a fan.

Jon Bon Jovi was fantastic. He sang a variety of songs. Wish he would have sang I Believe. The venue leaves something to be desired. Seats are cramped and uncomfortable. One would think the Hard Rock could afford a better environment for a concert.

I went to the show knowing it is not a Bon Jovi concert, so I wasn't expecting that. What I got was an excellent group of musicians playing some of the greatest hit of all times (including Bon Jovi hits). Jon was great as usual, very entertaining. He engaged with the crowd and kept everybody on their feet. There were no visual aids (other than the pleasure to see Jon Bon Jovi of course), there was no LED screens, no special lighting or any extras on that category. However, the quality of the band was so good that I didn't miss any of that.

Its a Great show, typical JBJ! Go, you wont regret it!

JBJ played all of the really big Bon Jovi hits and did them well. I was expecting a lot of covers but they mostly bored me while I waited for more BJ songs.

Show was absolutely HOT HOT HOT.. So many talented musicians on one stage., If this show comes around again it is a must see!!

Jon Bon Jovi was outstanding. He is an amazing performer. I get goosebumps eveytime I here him sing haleuagha What a voice what a man. Absolutely love him!!!

Jon was fabulous. I loved the song list..played some old favorites and threw in some classic rock and roll for a bonus. The Hard Rock was great...a little more intimate than the usual big venues. Jon was full of energy and flirtatious as ever...which makes his concerts so endearing and fun. Love, love, love that Jon Bon Jovi!

Bon Bovi and the Kings of Suburbia were amazing. I have seen him more times they i can count but last night without his regular band, he was fantastic. He should play with them more often and do what he was doing all different songs as welll as his own. I was going to get tickets to see THE WHO, but after see what my Johnny Boy and the band can do, which was outstanding, I am not going spend the money on the WHO, John and the band were better. Also, My Jersey Guy still has it.!!!! John you don't need Richie to be at your side. YOU GOT IT ALL. Also, I just want to say that i have been to see other's play at the Hard Rock and could not see a thing because they did supply a TV Screan, I could not see the person, or had to bring binnaculars. It took one of my own New Jerseyens to care what his fans see/think of him and his band. Welll DONE!!!!! I will alway be a Jon Bon Jovi Fan, not because of what he looks like ( Good Looking at 50) but what he stands for in his life and music. He is one of a KIND. They dont make them like him anymore..Keep it come John your fans are behind you. Also I got to me meet Obie O'Brian and his was nice enought to take picture with me and speak with me. He knew i was not from FL once i started speaking. I am a Jersey Girl and Came a long way to see him and he thank me and said John would also thank me...I wish he had time to Really do so in person, It would of meant a great deal to me coming from Jersey and just to Meet him. Well there is alwasys next time. Don't miss the show you will regret it.....I would love to see it again.. KEEP UP THE 'WONDERFUL WORK WITH THE MUSIC, it's ALL good!!!. This show was incredible! I am a Bon Jovi Superfan anyway so I knew I would love it because just listening to Jon sing all HIS favorite cover songs was so special. He was relaxed & joked with the audience & the kings of suburbia & his guest singers were excellent. I loved seeing Lorenza Ponce again-she is a phenomenal violinist & singer & has great chemistry with Jon. The venue was great as the Hard Rock hotel is great BUT the seats were really close together & we were really crowded-uncomfortable if you don't like crowds.

great show...jbj is a great performer and his voice is still strong. the sound system wasn't the best, but it was a lively performance.

I been a fan since the 80 and was my first time going to a JBJ concert. After 25 years waiting for this maybe I was expecting to much. The selection of songs! So many good songs not on the play list. What happen to Always, Bed of roses, Raise your hands, Keep the faith, or Blaze of Glory? When it end I stayed in my seats waiting for more. I understand they have to promote new songs and new albums but there some clasics that cant be exclude even a 15 min Medley of the songs would work out for fans like my group. Still we decide to again next time he have a concert. Wish us luck so our old-play list get extended.

It was great to see Bon Jovi doing something different than his usual concerts. The band and guests he had with him were amazing. I liked the smaller venue, which gave it a more intimate feel. It was overall a superb event! Can't wait for the next one!

The most awesome show ever!! The seats were the best other than front row which were saved by the casino. The stage is high enough so that the view isn't obscured even with people in front of you.

Good show with a lot of classic rock played but could have been a little more Bon Jovi played.

Jon Bon Jovi always puts on an amazing show! Even without his band, he did not disappoint! The variety of songs was great and I'm so glad south Florida was part of this tour. Jon thanked the audience for "trusting" him by coming to the show....he could be appearing with the Country Bear Jamboree and I'd still trust that he would give the audience 110% as always!

Didn't realize that seeing just Jon Bon Jovi, he would totally forget about singing Bon Jovi songs....I didn't pay to hear him sing..."Shout" or the Stones, David Bowie or Bob Seger....a real disappointment

His performance was poor and he sang way to many cover songs. I think he charge to much money for the audience to go hear cover songs.... I can hear that for free in the radio!!! We pay a lot of money to hear his song... Song that we are related to, songs that we grow up wih and he chose to play at less 30 to 40 percent cover songs!!! What was he thinking!!!

I confess to not being a fan, but I expected to enjoy the show. Honestly, it was ballad after ballad. Maybe it was the new material, but I just wanted to go home.

We didn't have the best seats and the kids in front of us stood almost the entire show BUT JBJ ROCKED the house !!! One of the best shows that I have seen. It was almost 3 hours of JBJ and it was awesome

I was a little confused about what kind of show this would be without the rest of the Bon Jovi band, but Jon Bon Jovi and this band put on an EXCELLENT show!!! The show was high energy and all of the musicians looked like they were enjoying the performance as well. LOVED IT!!!!!

I love all of Bon Jovi's music. Paid more to see this concert then I would ever consider paying for anyone else. Shocked when they only did about 8 of their songs, most early on in the concert. Did not appreciate paying all of those $ and not having a full show of Bon Jovi

There are absolutely no words to describe this concert! Jon is amazing, singing old Bon Jovi hits, as well as some classic rock and roll stuff. As time goes by, he gets better and better.

Anytime Jon take the stage, he always gives you your money's worth! He is a true show man and is immensely passionate about his performance. This was just as good as seeing the entire Bon Jovi band...an incredible show! It was actually a nice change to hear Jon rock some covers from other artists in addition to some classic Bon Jovi tunes.

I read some reviews just now and was amazed at the negative ones....did you want Jon to actually sit on your lap when he sang?.... anyway i thought the show was really good...i go to a lot of concerts and its always great to see one of your all time favs up there seeming to enjoy himself through out the show...i would def go see him again

There are not enough words to describe what a Jon Bon Jovi show is live, he is just unbelievable! Charming, talented, his energy is captivating, I have seen countless of his shows and can´t ever get enough, soo much energy. There is just simply no one like him. Keeps getting better. The venue was great because it is small and all the seats were great, I was in 5th row, and the stage is low and the seats are very close to the stage so it feels so intimate. Truly a magical experience! WOW

The show was incredible. It felt like a more intimite show in the 5500 seat venue.

If you enjoy Kareoki and Bon Jovi, you will love this show. Bon Jovi sings numerous covers from other bands during this show, off the top of my head I want to say he sang approximately 10 of his songs. In addition, I hope you enjoy hearing the Kings of Suburbia sing because you will get a dose of that also, along with backup singers taking leads on covers. If it weren't for the love of hearing the few Bon Jovi songs I would have given this a much lower rating than average. Definitely not worth the high price of admission though.

Jon was ON through the whole show. The band was also excellent. Songs were great. Jon is such a great showman, and soooo sexy and talented. I will keep going to all his shows, as his music and his persona bring such life and happiness to me for days on end.

Jon was absolutely AMAZING!!! I never miss any of his shows.. he never disappoints. This is a great venue to see him at! I wish him and the rest of the band would always make at least one stop here when on tour!!

Jon was simply awesome! He looked hot, sounded great and played for two hours. I love that he played some Bon Jovi stuff too. He picked great songs. Totally worth the outrageous price!

The show was just Unbelievable!! It exceeded all expectations.

It was a wonderful show. Loved the oldies he sang. Suburbia was a terrific back up band. All shows at this venue start late and finish on time. Very short show time wise.

Overall the concert was good, I loved the songs and how he included other song from other singers. The one thing was the ending, I was waiting for a better song to end.

I have seen Bon Jovi many times and he always delivers, but this time he only played 4 or 5 of his songs. I didn't pay to see him perform other people's stuff, which he did not do well. I came to see him, one of the best rockers of all time, play some of the greatest stuff ever written and performed. The lone bright spot was a great slow rendition of living on a prayer. That was fantastic. I'll see him again when he comes back to town, but never with another band.

Jon Bon Jovi put together a fantastic, tight band. The violinist from the Lost Highway tour was exceptional- expecially in her Baba O'Riley solo. Jon worked the crowd in his usual personable style and as always, was appreciative of the support. If you can't always have the real Bon Jovi, than Jon found a good 2nd. The only negative was that he did not play longer. It is always difficult to have any of his or the band's show end. It was also interesting to hear what songs he chose to cover.

I expected Bon Jovi's hits. Got 6 or 7 songs by Bon Jovi. 6-7 covers of different rock bands including Queen. 6 or so songs by Kings of Suburbia. The Headliner should have said: Kings of Suburbia with guest artist Jon Bon Jovi. Not the other way around. At least that way I would have known what to expect. I would not have paid $100 for the worst seats in the house to go see Kings of Suburbia. I did have fun, though. But felt robbed as the night went by and none of my favorites Bon Jovi songs were performed. No "It's my life", no "Always" ... Very disappointing.

The concert was Excellent . Seem him before with the original band and this was pretty much in the same level, Jon was more interactive and playful with the fans. Difference range of voice which I was surprised to hear. He is getting better and better, if you are a fan you need to see it to see another side of the artist and appreciated.

Bon Jovi remains the best of the best! Incredible vocals and performance, he's number 1

OMG!! This show was AMAZING!!! He is just as awesome without his Bon Jovi band - even though I love them too. I would see him again in a heartbeat.

Awesome show. JBJ shows that even after 50 old rockers can still perform. Great energy, great band with Kings, and I liked the mix of covers and originals. Goes to show you why JBJ is the band. If you love Bon Jovi catch this show you wont be disappointed.

Not what I expected from Jon bon jovi. Was hoping for more of his songs rather than feeling like I was at a cheap wedding which was the last time I heard Shout!!

Very misleading!! Thought we were going to see a Bon Jovi concert and that was not what we received. Now that we look at the heading it does say "Jon Bon Jovi" and not "Bon Jovi" as the band has been listed at previous concerts. I paid $315.00 to see Jon perform, for the most part, other bands songs. :(

I have always wanted to see him and I am so glad I finally did. He was everything I hoped for and more. The energy he puts into each song is amazing. Plus he's not hard on the eyes either. His band The Kings of Suburbia were amazing. Great musicians and singers. Would see him again

THE SHOW WAS EXCELLENT. THE KINGS OF SUBURBIA WERE GREAT. THEY HAD A VIOLINIST WHICH WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. JON BON JOVI IS STILL ROCKING. HE GETS BETTER AND BETTER EVERYTIME. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MORE. HE PLAYED FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF STRAIGHT.
