The concert on Saturday was simply an Old School Party. Baby Face was exceptional and reminded me of how wonderful Love Songs are and how they remind you of those you Love. Uncle Charlie...Uncle Charlie...what I've heard about your concerts don't even come close to the real deal!! Very upbeat, musical and at times spiritual. Being a self proclaimed Nerd, I was thinking Have I ever partied like this....Great Music, Great Venue...Great Time.... My only comment was on the young lady that opened up....due to the mikes...you could not understand a word she spoke or sang!!!! Old School Party at Verizon!!!!

I originally came for Babyface and was surprised to see he was the opening act. He was ackward and performing out of his element. He only sang one ballad and the rest was his horrible dancing and a medly. Disappointed. Until CW took the stage and put on a full blown show. Was surprised how many songs I knew and how nice his new stuff was. A total entertainment experience.

Baby Face was good. Didnt know he was involved in writing so many familiar songs. I knew and sang all of them. It was a nice surprise when his brother came on stage. Charlie was great as usual. Getting older but not missing a beat. I love his new stuff even more than the old. The concert was great!

C. Wilson got it still!! Plenty energy, band was the bomb. Mr. Wilson hit everynote possible with room to spare. My only complaint was that I would've liked to hear "Oops upside ya head" Babyface is a writers genius, didn't realize how many hits this guy has put his words into, living legend.

This is a show that I belive anyone would enjoy. Baby face put on a good show with all the songs that he sang but Charlie Wilson put on a performist that was something else. He came out with high energy and kept it going for almost two hours. I know that the dancers were wore out because they were out there for almost every number of the night. Charlie wanted to stay for the rest of the night and it looked like he had the energy to do it. This was a wonderful show and it was very entertaining and Mr. Wilson gives you your moneys worth.

I had an incredible date nite with my boyfriend watching Babyface and Charlie Wilson blaze the stage. Babyface took the time to do a medley of various songs he has written and produced for various artists and he had the entire audience on their feet dancing! Charlie Wilson stepped in to end the show with a bang. Performing all of his hits (new and old) I was in amazement as he danced across the stage and never missed a beat with the music! Of course his wardrobe stole the show with vibrant colors and bling! I would reccomend this show to anyone that is a fan and enjoys having a great time.

My husband and I loved it! I am a huge fan of Babyface and Charlie Wilson I grew up listening to their music. I think both artist gave a great performance. Charlie Wilson was AWESOME! it was exciting to see Charlie Wilson perform considering his age and everything he's been through. I loved Babyface, I expected him to be okay, but was plesantly surprised with a WOW performance. I loved his show, theme and style. Sexy even over 50! Charlie or should I say, 'Uncle Charlie" !! Loved the engery and the openning song, really got you moving and dancing. The man can still move and dance and I loved the mix of songs.. Great show and good team. ( Sorry the girls (angles)where a little too much)

It was a cool concert...this being my first time @ the Nokia Theatre....The set was exceptional...background lighting..Blue.. with Babyface's band in retro black suits...nice.. the selection of songs ...for the ladies...of course..and the suits he wore...nice. Uncle Charlie went to his gap band days...before his new material...would have been nice to hear more of his new body of work ...then go to the Gap Band... Overall it was cool. Can't wait for Bootsy! Wind me up Babybobba!

Charlie Wilson gave us a non-stop party with a lot of energy and amazing music...a little too loud, but excellent performance! I won't miss the opportunity to see Charlie Wilson again! Baby Face was smooth, extremely good, and a good opening act to hype the crowd! He left me wanting more. I would be inclined to go and see him perform again too! Never have i been to a concert better than this one, except for the last Babyface concert. Then to put Uncle Charlie with him as a HEADLINER was worth more than the tickets cost. On time, short time between set ups, short opening act and then straight to the meat. Two Legends on the same stage on the same night. No one could ask for more. I took my lady to the show because she adores Babyface. She is now a fan of Uncle Charlie's also. They both won us over. If the come again, we will go againl. Had a great time.

this was one of the best concert's ive been too in a long time-the only thing i'm upset about was i had 4 tickets 2 belong to a friend she forget to tell me which one i gave her and since i used the seats she had they did not let her in nor did they page me nor send an attend to get the other tickets---the view was great

I had a friend coming to town and decided to take him to this event as a birthday present. I asked around to folks I knew had seen both artist before. All gave positive feedback, but I took it as this rould be a decent show. To my surprise both Babyface and Charlie Wilson were fabulous!! I sung my poor little heart out and didn't disturb a soul - since the rest of the audience was in full participation as well. This was an AWESOME show! I high recommend it. The only down part was the intermission between BF and CW. The concert ran from 7:30 to 11:45 - definitely worth the money. I will definitely attend another show with both artist.

I really really really really really enjoyed Charlie Wilson!!!! I have not missed one of his concerts yet and at each one he turns the show out!!!!! He is wonderful!!!!! His dancers were great!!!! His band was also great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't mind going to a concert where he was the only artist to perform!!!!!!! I can listen to him alllllllll day!!!!!!! Charlie was wonderful as always. I have followed him for years, and was 'in the house' when he was on drugs, and have witnessed his testimony from Rags-to-Riches-to-Rags, and on the streets. He is truly amazing, and I will be with him as long as he is on stage. His musical lineup was awesome, and I wish he would sing "Going In Circles". I also purchased a pink "CW" hat in support of him as a prostate cancer survivor, and for the "cause". I am a Family Nurse Practitioner, who is usually 'Prim & Proper", but I have to let my hair down when Uncle Charlie is in town! I am still in love with Babyface. I was impressed to learn that he wrote all of those songs for the artists. And even more, when he mingled with the crowd. This really speaks a lot about his confidence and lack of arrogance. To allow the fans to use our cell phones (even cameras) is really FREE ADVERTISEMENT. Trust me it is..... I originally thought this would be a better concert for couples. My girlfriend and I decided to leave our dates at home, so that we could give Uncle Charlie and Babyface our undivided attention!!! In fact.......we sort of slipped off :-).

Babyface was so personal and connected with the audience. I love his songs and was so excited to see his brother Kevon. The mood was wonderful and lighting great. He was funny and I had never seen that side of him. Charlie Wilson came on with a bang and went to work entertaining us. Wonderful singing, great dancing. I totally enjoyed the whole experience and I am from Oklahoma so I was so very proud of his connection with the audience too FANTASTIC!

My sister and I decieded to buy a ticket for our mother for mother's day. We couldn't go due to college, but we thought that it would be good to just get her a ticket and she came back to us and said " I LOVE MY GIRLS YOU ALL ARE AWESOME" Not only did she get a ticket to the show she even got a beautiful mother's day necklace.

Babyface was outstanding! What a humble person, he and incredible write and singer. Babyface and Kevon Edmonds stole the entire show...they shut it down!!!! I still can't believe it... why in the heck was Babyface opening for Charlie Wilson.... Surely, it should have been Charlie Wilson opening for Babyface. Charlie Wilson's sounded great but the girls,,,, he could have saved his money and performed without them. His music was a bit uncomfortably LOUD! Charlie should just act his age... he tries too hard to be the old Charlie... what he closed the show wearing is what he should have been wearing from the beginning... Act your age, its far more attractive! All the sexual inuendos... so not attractive of a man in his 50's.... leave it to the youngstas.... stay in your lane Charlie... you need to be doing 50! I'd say I will do see Babyface anytime again... Charlie Wilson... one time was enough.

Looking forward to seeing him again and I encourage music lovers to do the same;) Baby face seemed a little distracted and without a doubt did not like fans taking pics ;). He favored one side of the stage and rarely came to the other. We were in the 2nd row but I guess if you were watching him on the screen you wouldn't know the difference. His brother on the other hand was hott and loved the crowd, great energy;)

YOU COULD HEAR THE LADIES IN ATTENDANCE SIMULTANEOUSLY OO AND AW EVERY NOTE HE HIT THE MEMORIES WHERE ENDLESS AS HE DID SOME FAVORITES OF THE DEELE AND SEEMINGLY EVERY 80'S AND 90'S LOVE SONG EVER WROTE ONLY TO SEAL THE DEAL WITH WHIP APPEAL..........AND THEN UNCLE CHARLIE LAUNCH HIMSELF TO THE STAGE AND TURN THE ENERGY UP 4000 DEGREES WITH ONE OF THE BEST STAGE PERFORMANCES I HAVE SEEN IN 300+ SHOWS I HAVE ATTENDED HE WAS LITERALLY RIVI TING YOU COULD FEEL THE VENUE SWAYING LIKE AN EXTENSION OF THE SPEAKERS THERE WAS NO ONE IN THE WHOLE ARENA SITTING DOWN THEY WHERE ALL DANCING IN THE AILSE THIS WAS THE PARTY OF ALL PARTIES IF YOU MISSED THIS SHOW YOU MISSED THE MOTHER OF ALL SHOWS

I've never seen Babyface in concert and he was amazing! I loved the medley of the old songs he either had preformed or wrote for others. Charlie Wilson put on a great show as always. He has a fantastic voice.

If you remember all the hits from the Gap band, then this is a show that you can't miss. You will not be disappointed. Uncle Charlie put it down. He took us from the Gap Band to his current hits. Phenomenal! Let's not forget Babyface. His show was awsome & I had no idea how many songs he wrote for other artists. This show was an absolute treat & I would recommend anyone to see these two artists.

This was a wonderful concert. I left the concert fulfilled. Sometimes an artist will leave you wanting more and feeling as if you didn't get your money's worth. Not here. It was worth the price of a ticket. I will go again when they come to town.

These are two of my favorite artists, but having not seen either in concert for some years, I didn't know what to expect. It truly didn't disappoint. Babyface sounds exactly the same, and as an opener, he put on a lengthy show for the audience highlighting those songs we love most. Uncle Charlie didn't disappoint either. Not only is his voice as strong as it was during his GAP Band days, I was astronished at his stamina and ability to dance and entertain. I would highly recommend this concern. It was fantastic.

THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING SHOW THAT I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. MY HUSBAND HAD TO WORK SO I ASKED MY SON TO GO WITH ME (HE'S 28) AND BABYFACE HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE SINGER SINCE I WAS 18 YEARS OLD. I EVEN HAD EVERYTIME I CLOSE MY EYES PLAYED AT MY WEDDING. MY SON AND I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME WE NEVER SAT DOWN THE WHOLE SHOW. This was a great show Babyface still has the charm and smoothness that goes along with all those hits we love so much! Charlie Wilson's show was fantastic beginning to end. I danced the entire time even on the slow jams. I was happy that engaged the crowd in his quick celebration of overcoming obstacles.

Was a little disapointed that Baby face did'nt do some (Strong and Sexy) other than that he was great. He was better than great, He was hot, and his voive delivered beyound belief. This was the best Concert I've attended in a year. Charlie Wilson was FANTASTIC, Charlie restored our faith in attending concerts, It was pure entertainment. No one has put on a better concert since Michael Jackson, We could not set down, it jammed. I take my hat off to Charlie last name Wilson, You still got it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The show itself was good! I've seen Baby Face in concert before and will see him again. Charlie "last name Wilson" rocked it! For a man of his age showed the youngsters that 'we' can hang with the best of them. My only complaint would be the seats and the stage change. I was told the seats would have an obstructed view and it wasn't as bad as i thought but the artist never entertained the side seat patrons. Overall the show was good and i would go again with better seats.

Awesome...the crowd was hyped by the performers and the inside staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful......however, $40 for valet was ridiculous and the regular parking attendents were not courteous at all. There was a particular man....cacausian who was down right nasty.

I had seen and knew Uncle Charlie was going to be great, but Babyface I had never seen and I just loved him. OMG! when he bought his brother out I thought that I was not going to be able to speak the next day I screamed so much. It was a wonderful concert and the two together was awesome. I would go and see either one by themselves. The best concert I have been to in a long time.

Babyface still gives a powerful love song with class. I don't know if he ever broke a sweat, but still delivered in rare form. Charlie Wilson is in a class all by himself. He "tore the roof off" with old favorities like Burn Rubber, Outstanding. Wow, a great performance.

THE CONCERT WAS AWESOME. CHARLIE HAS NOT LOST A STEP. I USED TO GO TO EVERY GAP BAND CONCERT THAT CAME TO THE METRO PLEX AND HE PERFORMED SATURDAY JUST LIKE HE DID THEN. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME SEEING BABYFACE AND HE DID NOT DISSAPPOINT, HE WAS GREAT. MY WIFE WAS SO HAPPY AND SHE SCREAMED ALL THROUGH THE CONCERT. THE THEATER ITSELF WAS MORE THAN I EXPECTED. Babyface went on stage first and he was a total show of his own. I was really impressed because I thought Babyface was so out of date and not a very good artist. After his performance I was amazed and now I want to buy every cd that has his name on it. He was a total class act all alone!!!! Uncle Charlie Wilson was dynamite!!! I mean fantastic, terrific, great!!!! He is 58 years old and he never stopped!!!!! He jumped up and down (literally), he spun around on one leg (several times), he went to church and this was all in one night!! He was nothing short of superbulous!!! I will definately be attending the Essence Festival in New Orleans where Charlie Wilson is scheduled to appear during July!!!

This concert was truly amazing. Both Charlie Wilson and Babyface performaces were awesome! I couldn't believe how both artists sound exactly like their songs even live in concert! Charlie Wilson performed for almost 2 hours and kept the audience engaged until the very end. I would definietly recommend this concert to others!
