this is the second DtR concert that I go to and it is just as good as the last one. These guys are amazingly talented and incredibly kind! Can't wait for them to come back!

The only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is bc I hardly ever rate anything perfect. For a small event and venue, it was great. Great vibes and amazing tunes. The headliners were awesome and played till late, which is awesome. I had a great time! :)

The Lawn Boys put on an excellent show at the Wonder Bar. They have a solid groove and perform excellent covers of Phish songs. Darren plays a lot like Trey and he also sings well. The keyboards were strong and the songs sounded genuine.

This show was amazing. This was the second time that I have gone to a Barr Brothers concert. I've loved their music for a while, but they are an order of magnitude even better live. They are truly, truly talented musicians and songwriters. Can't wait to see them live again!

There are no adequate words to convey the level of emotion in the house that night, to hear each song masterfully done by these great musicians along with a packed house singing along with each song was spiritually moving. For those of us who have loved and followed Mike all these years with the many projects he has going, it was truly as he said, his gift to all of us to hear him do these masterpieces that have been with us all these years. What an incredible show and all we can do is hope that one day it can happen again.

Charlie Sheen

Had a lot of fun at the show. Perhaps all of us were curious if Charlie was going to be a melt-down or cool. He was the latter. The media has had a lot of fun playing Sheen as a crazy guy, but the reality is that he's accomplished and mature. Sure, he's a good-looking millionaire and famous Hollywood insider and has had his share of drugs and strippers, but, come on, it's LA. The show was more of a personal appearance of Sheen, and I especially enjoyed when he talked about his career. The crowd was extremely anoying and kept yelling the entire time trying to get him to act crazy. They were a bit too worshipful, and Charlie had fun with it, but he never went overboard. The local personality that interviewed him at the beginning of the show was good, but, again, the crowd started booing because he wasn't "wacky enough." Several guys around me wouldn't shut up the entire show, and I was 3 rows from the front, so they had to be annoying to Charlie as well. Security had to warn some of them numerous times to keep it down. Charlie brought a comedian with him who did a "roast" of Charlie, which was very funny. Then the comedian brought some people up on stage and had each ask a question of Charlie. He was pretty funny, and it kept the show moving. Charlie Sheen is a fun actor and great sit-com comedian, but people had to realize that he isn't a stand-up comedian. Those guys hone their skills for years and have hour to two hour acts memorized. Charlie was just having fun and giving us all a chance to have some fun with him. I enjoyed the show and am glad I went.

Dave Alvin & the Guilty Ones

Bill Kirchen is dubbed the Titan of the Telecaster. It is true. BIll's rendition of Hot Rod Lincoln is not to be missed in its fine gutair playing coupled with fun, funny, witty commentary. The band Too Much Fun,with only three members, filled the house with sound. That said-Dave Alvin and The Guilty One's upped their game to match Bill. It was amazing to watch Alvin play his electric gutair with depth and feeling. It was almost a like observing a private jam between friendly rivals. The encore paid homage to Chris Gaffney when they played The Gardens and Marie Marie brought the house down. That said I would have enjoyed more ballads from Dave Alvin.
