One of the best shows I've ever been to in my life! Rob Zombie had an amazing stage show and Slayer couldn't be tighter. The crowd was cool and the security they had working were amazing.

Went primarily for Slayer and Exodus. Very surprised by Rob Zombie, for he was not very good when I have seem him live before. Exodus tore down the WAMU combining new stuff with their classics (Bonded By Blood!!!) - this is the first time I have seen them with Rob Dukes, and he definitely delivered. Rob Zombie had an amazing stage show. Good selection of tunes and he had the crowd pumped from start to finish. What can be said about Slayer that hasn't been said before? So glad they brought back such killer songs such as Chemical Warfare. Gary Holt (guitar) from Exodus did an excellent job for Jeff Hanneman and Tom Araya (bass / vocals) hasn't sound this good in a very long time. Excellent Show!

Another great show from Rob Zombie!! with the pyro, lights and Robs monster film clips its one of the best shows on earth! I counted over 6 robots and demons. And don't forget the music, perfect timing and mix on every song! Slayer deliverd there usual ground pounding set and Exodus got the place fired up.

My wife and I had purchased tickets through the Z95 presale and had awesome seating for the show, at least we thought. We were supposed to be sitting in the first row off the floor approximately 18 seats from the stage but when we got there and went to go to our seats we were told that the fire marshal would not allow us to sit in our purchased seats. What a bunch of B.S. After a trip to the customer service desk where they reseated us 18 rows from the floor next to the stage, needless to say we were not happy campers. They had flat out lied to us about our original seats because the staff never took out the wooden seating area where the players sit during an ice hockey game. Other than that the show was great (Dave Lombardo absolutely rules on the skins)

This was my first time at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA. It was very well cooled considering it was really hot outside. Exodus, Rob Zombie and Slayer were at their optimum! These bands are what music is all about. They were amazing! You can never be disappointed when you see them! EVER!

When I bought my tickets, I was not sure if Tom Araya or Jeff Hanneman would be well enough to tour. Then Slayer annnounced that Hanneman was not going to tour this summer. Slayer kicked off the Hell on Earth tour last night with Rob Zombie in Reading, PA. The opening band was Exodus, from whom Gary Holt has been subbing for Hanneman anyway, so it was a natural for him to step in last night. That looks like the line-up for a while. Exodus was raw and loud (a good way) and Rob Zombie seems to have returned to the freak show-makeup-dreadlocks look, with lots of robots, fire, and props onstage; however, the dancing girls were conspicuously missing. Guitarist John5 and new drummer Ginger Fish are Marilyn Manson alumni, so perhaps they all have some sort of synergy around the goth/freak thing. The new music from Hellbilly Deluxe 2 was outstanding, and Zombie himself was quite energetic and great onstage. I'm glad I saw him on opening night. I saw him a few years ago near the end of a tour and he was just burnt out. Slayer was, well, Slayer!!! No gimics or costumes, just raw, loud, unadulterated, ***-kicking metal. Araya looked and sounded great, as did Lombardo & King, and Holt was well received as Hanneman's sub. It really was a night of juxtaposing styles and sounds, but it was all good! The only criticisms I'll raise are the sound mix (not quite right) and stage management miscues during Zombie's set...all attributed to the opening night shakedown. PS: I can't leave out PiggyD!! As RZ has said in interviews, looks like now he once again has a band that "clicks."

What a great time we had at he Hell on Earth show in Reading. I've been a huge Slayer and Zombie fan since i was in High School, and I've seen the each a bunch of times. But when i heard they were touring together, I had to be there!!! And as usual the didn't let me down. I did notice Jeff Hanneman was not on stage with Slayer, which was kind of a bummer. But I heard he's recovering from and illness. They were louder and heavier than ever. They get better with age. Rob Zombie as always was his energetic screaming demon. The visuals of the stage show are so friggin awesome and the band tears it up. They all look like they are having so much fun up there. I wish each band would have played 4 or 5 more songs but that's the only drawback of having 2 monster bands split the bill. I would go see this show again tomorrow.

The show was amazing. Not as scary and I thought it would be but loved it none the less. Crowd was interesting, some of Zombie's music was before some of these kids were born. Normally the first band named is "assumed" to be the opening band. Since we were more interested in RZ we got there at the end of what we thought was Slayer's set. Hence our confusion when we were leaving after RZ and they were doing sound checks. Since RZ was who we were there to see it really wasn't a big deal, just not advertised very well.

I had called the Sovereign Center to find out the basic lineup of bands and was told Zombie went on around 9:30. I have already seen Slayer and Exodus and am not that into them so I planned on seeing Zombie only. When I got there at 9pm, it was breaktime. When the show started - it was Slayer. I drove up from Baltimore, got a hotel room, paid for 2 tickets, and saw nothing. We left. Not sure who's fault this is - Sovereign Center or the tour's, but it truly ruined my evening. And I wasted a vacation day the next day since there is nothing in REading, PA to do so we didn't even stay in our hotel.

Rob Zombie kicked ass Just like he always does. Always puts on a good show. I've seen Slayer 3 times before. And they always kicked ass. But this time it sucked. Sound was bad. Jeff Hanaman was absent, and they had sum other dude playing in his spot. They should have mentioned this before I bought the tickets.

Exodus opened, which was surprising, since they weren't on the ticket or any propaganda for the concert. I don't know any exodus music. They seemed like a nice bunch of guys, but the music was generic typical 80's thrash metal. I got bored after 2 songs. Luckily, they only played 5 or 6. Rob zombie was next. All I can say was AWESOME! That guy knows how to put on a show! My first CD was a White Zombie CD, and it was really cool to hear him play some of his old stuff. We didn't go due to Rob Zombie - we went because of Slayer, but Rob Zombie easily became the favorite act (for me) of the night. Next up was Slayer. Which was originally the entire reason we went. The music was always great, the songs were tight and there was minimal talk between songs. However, I was majorly disappointed by the audio. You couldn't hear the vocals during the "speaking parts" of the songs, and the guitars were not matched. One was louder than the other. In fact, it was hard to hear the 2nd guitarist's solos. At times it sounded like the audio was cutting out.

Slayer showed why is one of the most successful and respected metal bands of all times. Loyal to their sound and music they navigate successfully the 90's grunge era. They play a solid set of songs and Lombardo on drums just adds perfection to their ejection.

The show featured an excellent performance from Slayer and Rob Zombie. Rob Zombie's technical crew were having difficulty getting started so they started about 15 minutes late. DTE Energy has an 11:00 curfew and acts that exceed the curfew are penalized $1,000 per minute. Zombie didn't want to cut his setlist short so he continued until almost 11:20. I have seen dozens of shows and most acts choose to save their money (e.g. Korn Mayhem fest 2010). It was nice to see an act care enough about the fans to spend the cash. I have double check with the DTE Energy staff and the curfew penalty is real.

If you don't see Rob Zombie live before you die your time on this earth was wasted! This was my 16th time and he never fails to please. John 5 is the best lead out there today and base player Piggy D is a treat for the eyeballs. The costumes and video are the best out there and that isn't even counting the robots or effects. I was right in front of the stage standing next to a 10 year old banger from Long Beach Island, New Jersey. His father brought him out and it was his first Zombie concert. His breath was taken away! Everyone said " how is Slayer ever going to top that?" And guess what, they didn't!!!!!

I would have to say this was one of the best rock concerts I've been to this summer! The Hell On Earth Tour was originally going to have Slayer heading the tour and Rob Zombie opens up for Slayer. I'm really glad that Rob Zombie was the headlong band because they were the ones that putt the show on! Before Rob Zombie came out on stage, they were having problems with the set and props making them 20 minutes late to get on stage. What made Rob Zombie and the band even better then any other band, they stayed on stage an extra 20 minutes and not just leaving when their time was up like other bands would. Out of the eight times I've seen Rob Zombie, four which have been at DTE, this concert of his was the best! I do h

It was a excellent concert, recommend many to go see Slayer and Rob Zombie if they can, the opening band Exodus, was very good too, I have heard them before, but never got into their music, I think they sound better in concert. My favorite, but not for many was Rob Zombie, he put on such a good show of entertainment as well and addressed the audience a lot, which tells me he appreciates his fans, just don't come and sing and say a couple of things, and back to singing, I liked that. Slayer as well put on a great show, their lighting was awesome...Recommend it for sure!

Hands down, the show belonged to SLAYER!! fans of Slayer won't be suprised. Zombie put on a good show but was a weak link to follow after SLAYER. Played all his major hits but a bit too rock-n-rolly after the power and thrash of SLAYER. Zombie was late coming on stage and was fined 1000 bucks a minute for every mintue he went passed 11pm but since he played until almost 11:15 I absolutley got my money's worth. Would go see him again just because he's a stand up guy and he didn't puss out with a shortened set list.

I was disappointed to see Zombie was opening act. The stage show kicked ass !! Robs' creations were all over the stage !! The temp here was 99 degrees when I left for show at 7:14....therefore his tour called HELL ON EARTH was very fitting. Reading,PA was first stop for tour and was video'd Slayer was loud as hell Very plain stage and Kerry was a lunatic as usual. Needed to add these 2 bands to help complete my Bucket List. First off, Slayer was Slayer only louder than ever. They don't do much on stage but stand there and play under the same set they've always had. Rob Zombie's show on the other hand is totally awesome! This is the 6th time I've seen him since 2001, but the 1st since Ginger joined the band. I never ever thought that Zombie needed improvement in the past, but after hearing the band with Ginger I realize Rob Zombie now has the perfect band! I don't say that just because I've seen Ginger 9 Times with Marilyn Manson either! I've always known how well him and John 5 play together, but put it all together with Rob and Piggy D! WOW! I would recommend going to see Rob Zombie anytime! He always jokes around and makes you laugh besides being generally awesome! John 5 is one of the best guitar players in the world and is so genuine! He is a really nice guy and is totally into his fans! Piggy D is also very talented and has the coolest clothes, how often do you really see skunk pelts in action? GO SEE ROB ZOMBIE ANYTIME YOU HAVE A CHANCE! MORE THAN ONCE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Rob Zombie was great, however, Slayer was a little too "perfect race" for me. We left three songs into Slayer. Really glad zombie was first.

Fantastic show, Came for Slayer. Rob Zombie had disappointed me in the past with a weak show. He redeemed himself at the WaMu. Aside from a weak guitar solo (guitar was weak for the entire show to be honest) and a weak drum solo, It was really good. Slayer killed and Exodus was surprisingly good. I hadn't listened to alot of stuff they put out but that is changing.

Rob Zombie was incredible and puts on a great show for the audience, it was my first time seeing him in concert. Slayer I had see before and they were great also. I was also very impressed with Exodus as it was my first time seeing them in concert.

What can I say....I have seen Slayer 8 times now and they just get better everytime! Zombie and Exodus rocked the house too. WaMu in Seattle is a kick ass place! Took a couple friends that hadn't seen Slayer before, they were blown away! Slayer fans are a breed of their own!!

WaMu might not have the best sound, but it's by far the best venue.. Zombie Slayer and Exodus were all awesome.. I'm 44 feel like I've been in a car wreck so I must have had fun!! Thanks to Exodus for the wall of death.. Thanks to Zombie for the great show.. Thank to Slayer for... Well being Slayer, and playing alot of old tunes

the line going in was fast and organized. inside was set up a bit better than the last show I saw at WaMu. great sound from metal legends and amazing stage performance from everyone. Exodus opened the night and I felt like I was seeing them for the first time again. near the end of there set Kerry came out and jammed with them. Rob Zombie put on a kickass show as usual. he has amazing stage shows, a true master showman. I have only missed 2 Slayer shows in the last 30 years....they kicked my ass again. I've been to metal shows that have moments were people slow down....not this time. everyone was jumping, yelling and fists pumping.

A MUST SEE! THOSE BANDS PUT ON A HELL OF A SHOW! So I stumbled my way to the front row, leaving my boyfriend behind, but Rob Zombie was right there yo! So, there I am, rockin out and havin a good time, next thing I see is my old man getting thrown over my head by security for being a jacka$$. So I stayed for a few of Zombie's songs, cuz I figured the cops would be keeping him company anyway. Lol. Oh and the bastard is sooooo gonna pay for making me miss Dracula and Mars Needs Women. Anyway in the scruffle we both lost our shoes and had to walk the whole way back to our hotel barefoot. I can honestly say I am really impressed with how clean the streets of Pittsburgh were. I didnt even step on any broken crack pipes or anything! Great Show!

Slayer and Zombie put on a helluva show! It was pretty nuts! Good lookin women everywhere and the music wasnt half bad either! Really, Zombie was awesome always puts on a good show and that mofo knows what he's doin. Slayer, what can i say? When you pair killer riffs with an unbridled passion to fuck shit up you get SLAYER and it was one incredible show!

I was there Saturday night and all 3 Bands rocked Pittsburgh. The sound quality at Stage AE was awesome and you could get closer to the stage and see the bands much better than at a bigger venue. I went to see SLAYER and was Blown Away as expected. We all missed Jeff Hanneman but Gary Holt did a great job filling in. Exodus was great and Rob Zombie put on a good show to close. I would go again tomorrow if they came back. I would like to see the Big 4 Come to First Niagra this summer.

Rob was awesome! I wanted to see monsters, fire, and Rob throwing his dreads around! I got what I paid for. Saw White Zombie in State College in the early 90's; both shows were great! I hadn't listened to Slayer before so I wasn't sure what they were like. I was really glad I stayed and watched them. Nothing fancy...just straight out playin!

From Wikipedia: For many years, Independence Township (the local unit of government where the theatre is located) has had an ordinance in effect forbidding concerts or events to be played past 11:00 pm there due to noise complaints from nearby residents. The bands playing there are subject to a $5000 fine for going over the 11:00 pm time limit and are then charged $10,000 per minute fines for every minute past 11:10 pm they play. Rob Zombie played until 11:33pm, and he rocked every single second of his set!

Exodus opened, they put on a great show, but the sound was not good...the mix just didnt seem good, and it all blurred together...but they put on a good show! Slayer was second...and what can you say other than they kicked some ass out there! Sound was as close to perfect as I have heard at a concert. I was front row, and on the left side of the stage...so maybe the sound was different in the back, but up front it was great. Ton of energy, lots of pain in the crowd!!! Rob Zombie closed the show. I had never seen him before, and only have one album...but I have to say, they put on a GREAT show!!!! They were all zombiefied, with makeup and clothing, plus the way they moved in the beginning...it was a really cool effect. Then you throw in all the toys Rob brings, and its just a night to remember! Robots running around, fire all over the place..smoke,...bubbles....something like 10 different video screens to look at...one story staircase....20+ big bouncy balls being released into the crowd...and some fun music...and you have a sweet show!!!!! I cant wait to see Rob live again...he made me a believer!!!!!

I haven't been to a metal concert this great since I was a teenager. Slayer blew the crowd away, and Rob Zombie put on one of the best stage shows I have ever seen! I hope everyone who was there enjoyed it as much as I did. The sound was great, and security wasn't too terrible, and the drinks were reasonably priced (for a concert venue).

Nothing beats getting your face ripped off and torn in half by Slayer then being resurrected from the dead by Rob Zombie.
