I first heard Vintage Trouble (VT) at Gillette Stadium when they opened for AC/DC. I loved their up-tempo rocking/rythem & blues sound. I got an early ticket to their next tour date in Boston at the Brighton Music Hall (BMH). The BMH was sold out for the VT show. They got on stage about 10pm and hit the ground running! Man I just love this band's cadence, rythem and rock sound. They are all individually exceptionally talented musicians, but together, they are even better than the individual parts. Still, I would love to see some expanded instrumental solos within some of their songs. I know Nalle Colt could just fly with a solo in Hand Me Down Blues... and the drummer Richard Danielson he can play music on those drums... don't forget Rick Barrion Dill who can lay down a bass line to die for...

This was, hands down, one of the best shows I've ever seen. I was introduced to them by a friend and saw them prior to the Who tour. But the El Rey show blew me away!! They performed as if it were the last show of their lives. Every song was electric and passionate. Ty Taylor is the definition of soul. I hope everyone who enjoys live music takes the opportunity to see Vintage Trouble when they hit their town!

I'd never heard of Vintage Trouble until this event, which a friend chose for us to go to celebrate his birthday. I'm so glad he did! I loved the band - what a great group of guys and fantastic music. I loved them and can't wait to listen to my new CD over and over again! Their followers are called Troublemakers - love it!

I have seen them before The Who show and they are a great live band. Type of band that could pick up any instruments anytime and bring a house down. Most bands won't pick them to open for them for fear they will get blown off stage. Their whole album is great too. Can't say enough about this kick ass band.

Great band a breath of fresh air. Saw them twice, when they opened for the who in Sunrise Fl, and then when they played solo in St Petersburgh Fl, a complete different experience they just blew the house down. And on top of that, they a class act, down to earth guys. Keep on ROCKIN..

I've followed this band for the last year and finally got to see them Live!! They opened for the Who in front of 23,000 people but we got to see them just 10ft away!!. Each musician "owns" their instrument & Tye Taylor's vocals are amazing.

I enjoyed VT just as much as the cranberries on 5-11. Every now and then an unknown backup band surprisres the hell out of you and this was one of those bands. Every member of the band was well polished [ no high school band]. I got to meet every one the boys and they all are class acts. The lead singer was a breathe of fresh air and had quite the vocal range. The other 3 band members were also top notch musicians. If they are ever in the R.I. area again I will drop what I'm doing and gladly enjoy another set of VT. Electrifying!! Ty called me 'RED SOX'. PROUD!!

Wonder why so many teens listen to my music (60's-70's)? Because today's music lacks something. That something can be found again fresh and new from Vintage Trouble! It just feels so right and stirs that part of me that makes me smile from head to toe and sink into that sweet spot.

What an uplifting show! My wife and I were fortunate to see Vintage Trouble open for The Who in 2012 and had an idea of what we might see, but the performance by Ty Taylor and the rest of the band last Wednesday left us shaking our heads in amazement. The blend of R&B with raunchy guitar, bass, and drums was a driving mix of musicianship and showmanship. The emotion and enthusiasm expressed by these men was amazing from start to finish, including an "unplugged" set of songs from their new EP. Taylor is often and understandably compared to James Brown due to his attire, vocal ability, and moves; make no mistake, he's his own man. The band is tight and loves to perform. Don't miss an opportunity to catch this band, even if you have to travel a bit. You will not be disappointed!

Having seen VT perform live in bonnie Scotland on three occasions, we were fortunate to catch them on home soil when this latest tour coincided with our holiday in Tennessee. As the tour is promoting the acoustic sessions CD, we had assumed that this show would be a bit different to previous. However it was their usual high octane rock and soul, with a quality acoustic set in the middle. Lovely seated theatre in Knoxville, which I thought might have made for a tame crowd, but the Troublemakers soon rushed down the aisles to stand and dance at the front. What a great gig, only made better by speaking to the band at the signing afterward, reminiscing about the bagpiper at the last Edinburgh show AND THEN meeting the guys again by chance in a local bar and sharing beers and conversation. What gents!

If you have the chance to see Vintage Trouble, do it! I loved their album and was looking forward to the show, but it was so much more than I expected. Ty spends the show interacitng with the crowd and even wanders into it on occasion. Their music is so much more live than what is experienced through the album. Their show is well worth the time, money, and effort it takes to see them.

Setting foot inside the venue and the DJ was just doing his thing with great 60s music, one just knew it would be non-stop dancing. Vintage Trouble put on a fantastic, high-energy show and the audience was just going nuts. If you're not a dancer but you're a head bobber or a swayer, you WILL dance at some point and YOU WILL NOT STOP! All the calories you consumed at dinner or while drinking, you will burn it off. You will leave a Vintage Trouble show begging for more. You will become a Troublemaker.

Vintage Trouble and Ty Taylor gave the best performance I've ever seen a band give! Usually bands are kind of boring to watch and sometimes I leave feeling like I could have just stayed home and played the album, but Vintage Trouble brought an energy like I've never seen before. I couldn't take my eyes off of the lead singer Ty Taylor as his energy, moves, dancing and vocals were always amazing! He is a true Entertainer! The entire band is also very talented! My girlfriend went with me and we were both very tired and didn't think we would be able to make it through the whole show after working 14 hours that day. Vintage Trouble woke us up and we had plenty of energy for the rest of the night! Awesome, awesome show!! If you get a chance to see them don't miss it!

The opening act was a D-Jay. I've never understood, nor will I ever get behind, a D-Jay as an act. I can and do the same thing as a hired gun - NOT A PERFORMER. Enough said on that topic. Vinatge Trouble hereafter referred to as "VT" were ON IT! Great sets, long plays, bottom-less energy all wrapped up in a package of truly "positive" vibes. A friend of mine has been following the band for years. It was his recomendation that a group of us go see the show. Remarkable! I WILL definitely see them again whenever possible. With respect to the El Rey - great venue, very professionl staff BUT your beer and booze prices have to get more real. Drop your prices in half, people will drink twice as much, GUARANTEED! Why? because that is exactly the buzz we heard from everyone around us. Myself and all friends who follow music will be back.. Many Thanks!!! Slainte', Zero

I can't stand when people mention "giving 110%" because that's impossible, but Vintage Trouble found a way! They played for nearly two hours straight and rocked every single tune with the exception of the songs in their mini acoustic set. As if that weren't enough, they brought out Booker T. Jones for several songs. It was my first time seeing this band and I knew it was gonna be good, but they shattered my expectations.

Well, I'm officially a "Troublemaker". I knew it would happen eventually, and Saturday night Sept. 7th at the El Rey was my baptism into the Troublemaker world. Great soul tunes ignited the stage and set the audience afire. Lead singer Ty bravely ventured into the audience on a few tunes and even traveled all the way up to the balcony and yours truly as that was my spot for the evening. This soulful quintet with an underbelly of rock is on its way to greater exposure and I wish them luck as they continue to create trouble around the world. My pelvis is still sore, Ty.

When The El Rey Theater is Sold Out, you know the place will be heaving and throbbing with the sound system and a 'too tight to dance' dance floor. When it's Vintage Trouble that has brought in the audience, it seemed to raise the pulse of that wonderful old Theater to a frenzied level of high anticipation. Ty Taylor is a miracle of body, mind and voice...so you have that from the get-go. Add in a singularly brilliant guitarist from Sweden, Nalle Colt (guitar & vocals), who magically seems to understand exactly how to deliver rich, American blues, rock & even gospel in a spellbinding way, it becomes something else...maybe that's the 'Vintage' part. Then, add in a rhythm section that is second to none; Rick Barrio Dill (bass & vocals) & Richard Danielson (percussion & drums & vocals)...well that's possibly the 'Trouble' part, but in the absolute best possible way. Let me just say; if you've seen them on TV or seen any of their wonderful videos on You Tube, you have not experienced even a fraction of what you will feel when seeing these 4 excellent musicians in their own space, on their own terms. I found that out on Saturday night. Previously, I'd had the luxury of being introduced to their stage show in Ireland and was so blown away that I had to see them when they toured the US. Luckily they came home and so did I. A vital bond between 4 souls sharing a stage is either there or it isn't. With Vintage Trouble, it is palpable. From songwriting to perfomance, it's just there. And, I can't shake their songs out of my head - the vocals and cohesive thunder of it all has me spellbound. I just love this band - I think it's the one I've been waiting for. Although he's not a permanent member, a phenomenal bonus to the evening was the introduction and performance of Stax recording legend, Booker T. Jones. His history and their expertise created a symbiotic union that was remarkable on every level.

from the moment that we got inside you just knew that you were gonna have a great time. The fact that Ty Taylor ( lead singer of Vintage Trouble ) would come out and introduce the 2 opening bands, says a lot about their character. Vintage Trouble came onto the stage, they were amazing. A friend was quoted as saying " this band must have time traveled from the mid 60's or something ". pretty much puts it into perspective. They are a great party band. 1 of the parts of the nights, the band had finished playing, walked through the crowd like they were going through a receiving line. All the way to other end of the room to where their merch booth. Then, the band signed everything, had photos taken & chatted with everyone in the sold out club. that scored a lot of respect points with myself & the 6 friends that went with me as well... wish more bands would do that....by that's why I feel that VINTAGE TROUBLE is the band going !!!!!!... they make feel like you're part of " the show "....ACES

This show was total drivel. They are good showmen, and fine musicians, but the songwriting was forgettable, the presentation was scripted and there was nothing at all original or interesting about the music. The whole thing felt contrived and unorganic. I didn't buy these guys as especially 'vintage' or remotely portraying 'trouble'. I could not wait to leave the venue. And guys, the band name feels like it came out of a focus group. I'd like to hear if the singer had a side project, I bet it's a whole lot better than this.

Vintage Trouble is the most high energy group I have seen in a very long time. You can feel the energy all the way around that these guys are on the cusp of exploding in the World scene. Go see them at any opportunity!

My third time seeing Vintage Trouble. This is a band that provides instant energy and instant electricity. They are a must see. They are also four very nice guys who meet and greet their fans. Their music is awesome and the sum is greater than the parts. Ty Tyler is a mixture of James Brown,Sam Cooke,Otis Redding, and more. If you want to be entertained and shake it up,this is the band. The guitarists and the drummer work so cohesively and their best days are ahead of them Do not miss this group. They are superb!! You haven't lived until you experience the excitement, energy, and power of Vintage Trouble.

These guys are pure pros. Every time I've seen them over a two year period they get better and better, and I wouldn't have thought that was possible. Great musicians, great showmen and great people. They make everyone in the room feel like they are truly special. It's hard to believe that they can put this much energy into every show given how much they perform, but I've never heard a bad word about any of their performances. Don't be a dope. Go to the show. You won't regret it.

From the moment VT hit the stage , they create a musical pulse that your body won't deny--you'll want to move-to-the groove. Soulful-rock'n non-stop energy that, singer Ty, has you caught-up in and only lets you go to rest when they sit-down for an acoustic set. They go electric again finish with the pulsing-pelvis-pusher and your aftermath is one ov exileration and exhaustion. This is one high-energy performance not-to-be-missed!!

It's not easy whip up a crowd on a Tuesday night, especially in Boston, but Vintage Trouble did in spades. They hit the stage in full stride from the outset and took the whole room with them in a seamless high energy string of favorites from their first album "The Bomb Shelter Sessions" and never let us down for 90 minutes! Even when they took to stools for an acoustic set, it was with a musical and lyrical intensity that kept us all engaged listening when we weren't clapping or singing a refrain. There're great musicians, great performers, and Vintage Trouble is the rarest combination the best of both. I will never miss them live within 100 miles, and neither will the blues/rock fans I brought along!

the band kept shining bright spotlights onto the audience, it was truly painful. Vintage Trouble has a great concept and they are talented, but their lead singer needs to realize he isn't playing to a teeny bopper audience who doesn't want to hear "let me hear you scream" 20 times. They could use a good light and sound man. Also, this was my first time at Brighton Music Hall and I did not realize there was no seating at all. I would have worn different clothes and shoes that I didn't mind getting beer spilled on. The band came on late and we stood for along time

I really enjoyed the Vintage Trouble concert. I was already familiar with their music and had read some reviews of their shows. I was able to get some some friends to go who weren't as familiar with them. Just a few minutes into the show, any skepticism about this group was gone. They played a high energy electric and acoustic set of funk, soul, rock, and blues. This group is on the rise and will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future. A Vintage Trouble show is a must see!
