This was a nice, intimate evening. The venue is a much scaled down version of Star Lake ampitheater, set in the city, in the shadow of Heinz Field. The feeling was laid back - almost up close and personal. Amos was - as usual - amazing. I like the way he has rearranged some of his older songs - put a funky groove to them. He has a much larger band now - with back up singers and everything. However, I miss the smaller, rawer version of his music. Lucinda's show was great - she has a fantasic band. I'm not as familiar with her music, so it was a treat just to soak it all in. One compaint - or just an observation - I thought it was odd that she had to use sheet music for the duet with Amos - after all, they did record the song together on his album. Just sayin'.

Discovered Amos just within the past year and so glad I did! Drove in from NJ for the Cleveland show and it was worth every minute. Amos has a pure, soulful, jazzy blues sound that just melts you..I listen to him everyday. I had never heard of Lucinda before the concert but have to say I enjoyed the show and her lead guitarist was amazing! However I would have preferred a total AMOS show!

Didn't know who Lucinda Williams was. Now I know this is not my kind of music. Not sure how she ended up with Amos Lee. Still like music of Amos. Think he had great show.

don't know who Amos Lee was until the concert I was pleased with what I heard, and Lucinda Williams was just simply at her best.

For some reason I was under the impression that Amos Lee was the headliner, so it was a bit of a shock that his set was so short.

Amos was awesome but Lucinda was not good. Amos made it worth the money! Will never see Lucinda again.

Loved the venue! Amos Lee was fabulous!! Bring Amos back and let him play longer. I am not a Lucinda Williams fan and she didn't do anything to change that.

When I saw that Amos Lee and Lucinda Williams were "co-headlining" I did not know what to expect. In reality, Amos Lee opened for Lucinda. Amos only performed for an hour and fifteen minutes. I was hoping for more. Lucinda was okay. I am not sure how long she performed; we left after 45 minutes. Her songs pretty much all sound alike. It was my first time at Stage AE. I was pleased with the seats. The venue was great.

Loved the AE amphitheater. I would look for shows at this venue to attend. I had never heard Amos Lee but thought he was really good. I will be purchasing his music . I am along time fan of Lucinda Williams and thought this was one of her better shows although she should play longer.[One hour and fifteen minutes]

Amos Lee should have been the headliner!!! He was better live then on his cd and easily had a better way with the crowd! I'm guessing Lucinda is an acquired taste, because I did not really care for her songs. My girlfriend and I left before she finished her set.

Stage AE has something going on with open sewer vents/manholes, grating, etc. that makes this place wreak of sanitary sewer. Heard rumors of this and thought it was crazy but it did indeed smell like foul sewage. Otherwise, Stage AE is a relatively intimate venue. If you're in the grass, a sun tarp covering stage equimpent blocks a good portions the view for this grass/lawn area. Went to see Amos Lee and I think we were the only ones that did. Most of the crowd appeared to be there for Lucinda. Made it kind of awkward when my wife and I were the only ones seemingly enjoying Amos Lee (he was amazing by the way). Lucinda sang a song with Amos Lee and sounded like "a dying cow." ...We left after Amos Lee finished his set.

Amos Lee rocked the house and kept it fun. He has a great voice and style. His band was very good, but I thought they could be a bit better. Lucinda remains one of my favorite song writers, and I love her interpretations, but I found it very disconcerting that she kept checking the sheet music. It made it seem like the short catchy phrasing that I've always loved and found interesting and quirky, was perhaps just to keep it short and simple. Her band was fantastic!!!

Well, Lucinda Williams was great, as expected, and Amos Lee was pretty good too (with the exception of the strange appearance by his "friend" who sang a strange song about sensual cereal). My issue is with the venue. I'm not sure if it's because this place is relative new or what, but there is very little info about the place--what you can bring in, what to expect, etc--anywhere online. Also, different staff people seem to believe different things about the "rules". I was told on the phone that blankets were fine for the lawn. Great. We toted our blankets. We get there and the sign of prohibited items says no blankets. To make sure, I ask the guy at the ticket window. Blankets are not allowed. So we haul our blankets all the way back to the parking garage. Then, we go in, and everyone on the lawn has a blanket. But us. We sit on the grass, which isn't terrible (thank goodness it hadn't just rained), but the miscommunication was irritated and concerning.

Amos Lee saved the night! Have seen Lucinda before and viewed here DVD's, too bad she wasn't there. Shows up with a lead guitar, bass player, and drummer and stands on the stage going through the motions. Many miscues on stage. Didn't even know when to come in on her duet with Amos. Had to have a music stand crutch for most songs, coughing jag cut short another song, three-fourths of the show was with no guitar or had an electric strapped-on just for show. LUCINDA NEEDS SOME HELP!!! PROFESSIONAL HELP!!!! Low point in her career, very sad.

Lucinda rocked. I've seen the accustic show and it was great but she can rock too. Her band was loud and aggresive (drums), but she was not overpowered. I love Lucinda and own everything she has ever done...but...this had to be one of the shortest sets I have ever seen from a headliner act. She was at least 6 songs short of a full set and thats why only 4 stars. When she returns to Cleveland, I will be there.

I enjoyed both performer's sets. Amos Lee - I suspect that we'll hear much more from him in years to come. Lucinda is a legend. Both are accomplished artists and are well worth seeing.

Great performances. Not so great seats - uncomfortable seating surfaces, with no room whatsoever.

The show and the venue were excellent! The weather sucked!! Hot & Humid! The only real problem that we had with the show, was getting to the venue. There are no street signs for it! Then leaving was the same way. Trying to get out while people were trying to get into the Flats area was crazy!
