First of all, when going to these shows you have to consider the age of the artist, Shirley Reeves 74, Charlies Thomas 78...Mick Jagger 70 something... But it's the age of the voice that you should really be concerned about. Most singers maintain it well, and some do not. These two singers still have it. Backed by younger singers who basically sing and move around them make for a pleasant show. Hearing the old hits made famous by these groups is what you want to hear. a little disappointed that they covered other artist material from those same eras - but they did justice to most. did not like the drifters choice of encore song. Shout. they did not do enough of their popular hits. But the backup singers had the great old school moves, in both acts that made up for it.

It was a great show. The voices were still there and the moves may have been a bit slower that the were 50 years ago, but they could still shake a leg. I'd go see them again.

Totally enjoyed the concert, even though the Drifters were unable to attend. It was still a fabulous show, and I would recommend to anyone who loves the early hits!

MY WIFE AND I ARE BIG FANS. WE WATCH THE PBS SHOWS ON TV MOST OF THE TIME. WITH THE DRIFTERS NOT SHOWING UP AND USING A LOCAL BACK UP BAND I DON'T THINK THE SHOW WAS WORTH WHAT MONEY WE PAID. THE SHOW ONLY LASTED ONE HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES. I THINK THE SHOW SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED AND RE-SCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE. I'M NOT SURE IF WE'LL GO AGAIN.

Even thought the 3 acts that performed were very good and enjoyable, we were disappointed by the fact that the headliner couldn't make it and the remaining acts weren't asked to extend their show to compensate. The biggest disappoint was that the venue was changed, without a reason to those that had purchased tickets expecting to be at the Keith Albee, and ending up in a facility more like a high school auditorium.

Charlie Thomas has not lost that great voice. What a performer. He had the audience in the palm of his hand from the moment he sang the first note!

The Platters were very good - missed Herb (who was not there due to a broken foot). The Drifters were absolutely GREAT. Sounded as good as ever. Did not skip a beat. We had a terrific time, and want to thank Charlie Thomas for his personal extension of birthday greeting, when we met him in the lobby after the show. Thank you !!

Great voices,...great musicians,...really was an UPLIFTING show! We were seated front stage,...good sound system,..not too loud,..just right. I'm in my early 40"s ,...but was familiar with most songs. Wish we had quality music that lasts decades in today's writers & performers. Made it a great evening for my hubby's b-day. Would recommend to my friends...because you really appreciate the lookback at music from what seems like a "simpler" time. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the show. We happened to be staying over this particular weekend & wished we could see an upcoming comedy act---but so glad we saw this show instead. We left this show in great spirits---very positive & entertaining evening.
