All of the bands performed flawlessly, taking the audiance down a path of wonderful nostalgic music and dance

great old school show in a great venue! audience was great and three great bands. the dell is the best place to see a show!

If you are fan of old school music, this is the concert to see!!! Breakwater was very Good starting off the show. KC. & the Sunshine band bought back great memories of the 70's dance music. Mandrill still got it going on! Song House of Wood made the night For me. You have to see these groups perform, I would not hesitate to see them again. The rain could not stop the party, many remained to enjoy the show.

No rap necessary. Mandrill rules. I would skip every concert in Philly for one Mandrill ticket. Watching them walk through he crowd playing Mango Meat remains my favorite concert moment of all time!!!!!!! Who can touch them on stage. NOBODY! F A POP RECORD! LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO KOOL AND THE GANG!

Mandrill has been making music since 1970. They have 17 albums which most you can get online iTunes, or amazon. I believe they were the best funk group hands down!

Fudge Solomon was a great bass playa! His work throughout the years with Mandrill on their album and live is phenomenal. A real shame more people don't know about this guy...

When my cousin Mike used to play a Mandrill album, my funk leve was increased tenfold.

Man , i totally agree with all the posts , Mandrill is the best , most naturally funky group i ever did hear!!!!!!!

Mandrill is one of the greatest and most underated funk bands. Claude "Coffee" Cave was one of the best Organ Players, I've ever had the pleasure to see. I still always go to see them when they are in town and they still jam and STILL do it better than ever.

I still have vinyl from Mandrill from waaaaaaaaaaaay back - They were awesome when I first heard them in the mid-70's AND still are!!

Mandrill has been a Philly favorite for years........I consider them one of the best funk groups of all time. The WILSON Brothers are true royality!

Mandrill, KC & The Sunshine Band and Breakwater..................finally a great show with some diversity. I looking forward to seeing KC perform @ The Dell for the first time ever!

Mandrill was great. Kc should have sated in bed. he was fat,couldn`t dance,sing .If it wasn`t for his dancers their would of been noone to watch .

Location of the concert was easy to get to. Parking was easy and despite the rain the concert was AWESOME!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was totally outdone at the enrgy and flavor of this concert! I'm still drying off the persperation from that night!. I danced and sang and danced and sang and partied hard in the rain. I'm 53 yrs old and felt like I was 16 again. I hvn't been out in a long time...What a coming out party! They were all great...JUST GREAT!!!!!!! For those that missed it...YOU MISSED A PAAAARRRRRRRTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baby Boomers party real old school style at this event. People in Phiadelphia Robin Hood Dell got to relive the past when a dance party and REAL MUSIC existed. The DJ played hits during intermission and I heard people saying "Oh no he didn't " or " I haven't heard that song since" or "OOO I remember the party I was at whenI first heard that song." People this is how PHILLY does a concert. Each group held their own and I was not disappointed. I danced during the entired show to all of my favorites from each group. Loved the sound system at The Dell......Great Job Phily. If you do not see these groups perform in the near future in your town, you are truly missing a great party.

We had an awesome time partying in the rain. Thanks to the Dell for starting on time. It was truly a "Funk Til U Drop" night to remember. The crowd was AMAZING!!! There's nothing like "Old School" music!!!

KC really struggled with his voice, his age, etc...and then it started raining 10 minutes into his concert.....so we really were not able to enjoy it at all........

Mandrill rules in concert. I have seen a ton of bands in all different genres and they are like no other jam band. They utilize every instrument possible and kill every time.

F - A - N- T - A - S - T - I - C.......It was unbelievable!! One of the best concerts I have heard and attended in years. Bring them back soon.

One of Mandrill's best albums was released in 1980. Entitled "Mandrill". It was a disco album with songs like "When You Shake". Good album and definitely overlooked.

Mandrill is indeed a great band, but is it that underrated? I thought Mandrill was quite famous and successful.

"Funky Monkey" by Mandrill, from their 1978 "We Are One" album, also on Vinyl 7" is a damn good track. Definitely one of my top faves.

MANDRILL was very much underated to those that didnt know. But for us that did......Fencewalk was one those jams that would take you all the way out to Planet Pluto, and then drop you back off to earth. That guitar solo got on the FENCE and WALKED it---- all the way to that last fret----- FUNKY JAM my Brothers, ya'll kill't it !!!

Mandrill is the music my dad and uncles used to rock at the house parties when I was a youngin...Me and my brother would be next door at our babysitter's house wondering what the hell that funky ass sound was!

I have two sons and I have passed down all my Mandrill Jams to them. They grew up big Mandrill fans. They have now adopted the music as their own. Good music NEVER dies.

I still have all of Mandrills albums."Composite Truth, Mandrill Is, Mandrillland........ I used to play them over and over when I was a young girl. They are still just as bad as when they started.
