I thought it was great that it was an all ages event, i was able to take my younger brother to an EDM event. Crowd was really great, that was my first event down in San Diego. Over all great experience, staff and security were really chill and mellow, which was a first!!!

Identity overall was fantastic. I had a great time meeting new people and making new friends throughout the day. I had a blast dancing with all my kandi on, my cute little outfit, ect. I enjoyed that this venue allowed us to bring almost anything legal we wanted in. The only down fall was the wrist bands that were being given out for main stage wasn't given out fairly which was disappointing. And I didn't get to see one of my favorite artists due to the time slot overlap. Plus Hardwell cancelled due to the flu (it's not his fault). Besides the few incidents I enjoyed myself very much so.

This was my first electronic concert/ festival that i've ever gone to, and i have to say, it was pretty good. There were a lot of druggies though( what was i expecting), but the people there were really nice. I wanted to get to the front, but the security would not let me, even though i saw them let people in. But i get that it would get too hectic, so i was fine with a fairly close seat. I got to see Porter Robinson, (which i had been waiting for) and as expected, he blew me away. It was amazing. He played for about an hour, and wolfgang gartner started playing. He was pretty good too, and after he was done playing, i headed over to see Nero. ( And by the way, the free rockstar energy drink samples are amazing. I had too much energy after that) Nero was so sick. Everybody in the crowd was crazy. It was so awesome though at the same time. It was around 11pm when it ended, and i never wanted to leave. The whole festival was amazing. And no doubt, i am going again next year, and i'm actually going to dress up. In a beaver costume, def. I hope to see a line up just as good as this years!

This was a very fun event but the underage kids/teens were pretty annoying. I think this should be an 18 or 21 and up event, especially if they are serving alcohol. Overall it went smoothly and I had a good time.

It's been several years since there has been a food touring festival to come through Michigan. Ever since the wide spread development of the weekend festival or campInv style large scale events the touring festival is just a memory of the past. While attendance was pretty low we managed to have a good time due to the fact we had zero schedule conflicts. We came in for Modeselektor followed by Crystal Method, Booka Shade, Disco Biscuits, an the legendary DJ Shadow. I found it hysterical they were selling I live house music shirts while there were zero house djs, hehe. I also thought it was whack that people spent 50-60 on tickets who bought early and those who waited paid 20, not cool.

Great artists. The music was killer. Bass was loud! I cant believe they didn't allow professional cameras inside. Would have been a perfect 5 star if they allowed that. - Afrobeta played a great set, they are now a new favorite artist of mine. - Steve Aoki played great music but played an even great show, spraying campaign into the crowd, bringing an blow up dinosaur thing for people to crowd surf on. - Datsik played the best dubstep i've heard yet! - Kaskade played a killer finale to top off the night, great light show.

College for me starts in 2 weeks, and last saturday was one amazing day to start wrapping up summer with. Identity Fest brings the EDM culture across the nation as the only touring festival to have electronic music all around. Being by so many people that enjoy the same music as you is never as awesome as this. I took friends with me that have been to Warped tour and etc. The experince at IDFest compared to Warped is simply explianed by the motto of edm culture worldwide - PLUR. Peace- There's no fights, no aruging, no hate whatsoever. Love - No one cares who you are, they love and accept you for you. Unity - No better place to see hundreds of people that join together to jump right when the bass drops, and no better place to see them all connecting. Lastly, Respect- All boils down to this. I respect you for you and apperciate the music we both love. All in all, this was the best concert series I've been too all of this summer. Thank you iHome and Idenity. I'll see you next year!

For the money, probably the best value I've ever had at a show ($40). Great lineup and great performances, however I would have rather it been at the venue last year across the river in camden and paid more. Either way I will certainly be attending next year. Also the performances alternated between stages instead of ran concurrent, so you didn't miss a single act.

I really liked the festival. This is the second time I was in ID fest. The first one had better DJ's, but this one did not disappoint. Everything after Eva Simons on Main stage was amazing. DVBBS and Eye were the worst DJ's ever. I don't know how they got this gig. They talk too much on the mic. I was facepalming more than fist pumping. Also like every concert, the drinks(water) is overly priced. Anyhow, I had amazing time. Arty, Madeon, Wolfgang and Eric Prydz were worth to come and see.

I had not been to a big dance party since 2002, and this festival had the feel of the oldschool with all the nuskool modern technology. I really loved it, and although we arrived totally late at dark (due to a semi-truck explosion shutting down I-40) we still saw top notch talent :) I am not sure who the DJ was at the Advent Underground stage, but he was awesome, we were groovin all night, and I sure do wish I knew who that was... Pretty Lights, omg, never in my life thought I would see this concept of an audio-visual experience... all I can say is wow. Check 'em out asap! I've been a fan of Kaskade for many years, but had kinda dropped off since he quit being so housey and got more trancey, not that that was bad (I think 'Only You' is in my mind beyond Grammy-winning it is sooooo good), just unexpected, I guess, but... From the moment his set began it sent shivers up my spine, exploding in my brain. Good thing I was sober, or I might have actually exploded...LoL... but seriously, an awesome set, totally restored full faith in Kaskade :) and totally loving Aoki... didn't get to see much of his set, but from what I did see, he rocks out, hardcore... and I checked out Aoki's House, seems like a cool dude too :) Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, Please come back and do it again :)

Perfect venue, so professionally put on and so clean. Everything from the camping to the concert itself was perfect. The only downfall was the water situation, BRING GALLONS. I hope that every year The Gorge will host a music festival like this. I can't complain about anything other than the water.

Great crowd vibe, as per usual with out door events, but this seemed special. The gorge is one of the best venues in the world and doesn't host many events like this one, but it was worth the wait. Everyone threw it down hard, and were grateful to be apart of the resurgence of electric music (as PL put it). Kaskade was hypnotic, i'm pretty sure not a single person wasn't dancing! Afterwards got to hang out with some cool people, you may have heard of troy beetles aka DATSIK!!!!! we were partying it up till the sun came up for sure!~!

This show was absolutely incredible from the time we walked in, until the final act. Even before the groups we came to see started playing, we sat on the hill and enjoyed the amazing view of the Gorge. Once ID got going we went from Nero to Rusko, then Pretty Lights, and Kaskade. Sound was amazing! The light Shows were spectacular!!!

The concert was fantastic. Despite being small compared to some of the other shows and festivals that take over the Gorge, Identity was fun and definitely loud enough to the point where you could hear and feel the bass from other sets taking over other stages. (such as the bass from Crystal Method crossing over Kaskade's!) Definitely would love to see this festival expand in the upcoming years. My only issue with the festival: why those managing the set list thought putting Disco Biscuit on the main stage (or, including them in the festival in general) was a good idea.
Wow. the venue, the people, the room to dance and yet still be part of the pit. everything was amazing. will do again in a heart beat. camping over night was great. only downfall was it ending at 11 when i was ready to party until 4 am no worries though we did party until 4 just back at the campsite with everyone else!
So much fun! The weather was absolutely perfect and the festival was a total blast. Such a great looking crowd. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
Wow, IDentity made me feel so free. I had so much fun. I met alot of new people and made new friends. It was a feeling like no other, i felt so alive. What i like about these festivals is that even if your going all crazy no one will judge you because its what part of the culture. It was sort of touching. I came there with an open mind, not knowing what ill see. And came out with a full heart. I loved it! To jump around and listening to the best in music , let loose, and go crazy! It was a real stress releaser . It was a great way to end my summer.
IDENTITY was awesome! definitely an amazing experience!! I had a blast!! The music was amazing, the people were friendly, the ambiance was great. Awesome event!!!
The venue was nice. talent rocked the house. but the visuals where not the best. Steve aoki and pretty lights probably had the best presentation. Other than that, I loved it! Thanx for hosting this event cricket wireless!!
IDentity Festival at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mt. View was amazing, nothing like it. Datsik, Nero, Steve Aoki and Kaskade were godly. There was never a moment when you wished that you were somewhere else. There was almost always a top artist playing. Simply Amazing. And yes this review is real.
Sick show. Definitely didn't like all the youngsters. Make this show at least 18 years and older PLEASE. The show ended so early because all these KIDS had curfews. Also the limit on when alcohol was being served should of been later, but once again is was because of the KIDS that were there.
This was one of the greatest events I have ever been to let alone in San Diego. So many amazing people and astounding music was present September 2 nd I hope in the future another ID festival comes to San Diego you can bet I will DEF be there <3
AMAZING! Great Staff, GREAT show! Afrojack, Pretty Lights, and Kaskade were the BEST! and getting to see Steve Aoki for a half hour to fill in for Afrojack when he was stuck in traffic was awesome!

I bought my tickets a month in advance and I'm so glad I did. Everyday that drew nearer to the concert I was filled with anticipation. And the night of the event was everything is thought it would be AND MORE. I only went to the main and rockstar stages because trying to navigate around the crowd was rough. Even though it was an all day event and hot as Hell outside I'd definitely go again next year if the Identity Festival comes back.

I had bought tickets in anticipation of seeing Holy Ghost!. There were a lot of good bands playing, and things really started picking up when people started showing up. I felt bad for the bands that had to play early because there was barely anyone there. It was a bit awkward from 2:00 when I got there to around 3:30 because the bands were playing to an empty audience, but it started picking up later.

I got there when L.A. Riots were performing. Normally at shows when I get there I'll meet up with friends then we'll go chill somewhere comfortable and wait til someone we're familiar with and like comes on. I went to get water and heard L.A. Riots playing and got the whole group down there. When NERVO took over after them, it was at the predetermined time we were going to leave for Steve Aoki, which was a hard thing to do after hearing them start their set. Steve Aoki was definitely the set of the night but seeing Pretty Lights after him was quite the show, too. From start-finish, there was never a dull moment of "can't wait til the next guy comes on..."

I grew up a few miles from Great Woods (I don't care what they name it, it'll always be The Great Woods of Mansfield, MA to me) and IDentity Festival was by far the best use of this great space. In addition to the giant amphitheater for which it's famous, they put up two other stages: one that was literally in the woods (a section they rarely open) and a massive one in what's normally the VIP parking lot for the Dim-Mak artists. Steve Aoki was definitely the highlight for me, playing from sunset into darkness... oh man, that guy is creative. Kaskade killed it too, first time seeing him for me. Great job with this one guys! I wondered how they could possibly do on a dance fest properly at this venue... it just didn't seem that they could pull it off in that environment. But they rocked it. Great job by the production staff. Come back next summer. Please.

This was an awesome rave. The only reason I won't give it five stars is because I can't say that I love Jiffy Lube. The over-priced, extremely mediocre food selection and semi-unfriendly staff turns me off. It is, however a good venue, but I'd would always prefer Merriweather for various reasons. Anyway, the line-up was really good. I wish there were no over-lapping sets, but time is limited so what can they do? Kaskade blew me away, and as per usual The Crystal Method put on an amazing show. They're always innovative and can't seem to get enough, just amazing stage presence. The same went for Aoki. Marcus Shulz and Steve Lawler are always fun. I didn't get to see everybody, but I made to everything I really wanted to and had an awesome time. One of the coolest parts was definitely dancing in the rain and the lightning was added such a cool ambiance to the whole show.

The iHome stage was amazing, as was the other stage except for the fact that it was in a parking lot which had its pros & cons such as lots of free dancing space but the ground was like a heater making it hotter than it already was. The iHome state visuals were some of the best I've ever seen but the seats really got in the way of any movement. The fact that security wouldn't let you dance in the aisles was annoying, too, but understandable due to safety reasons. So the only spot you could really dance was right in front of the speakers, at the edges of the stage where you couldn't see the DJ and your ears were ringing for 2 days. Overall though, epic event with major talent! & the drinks were reasonably priced, too!

Security is ridiculous. If you leave your seat during the second half of the event, they will NOT let you back to your area unless you have VIP. Which means, if all of your friends are towards the front of the stadium seating, and God forbid you have to pee, or want a beer or some food, you will be stuck at the back of the venue unless you can sneak passed them.

First of all there were only about two headliner artists at the event. Advertising was misleading and do not make a point to let the buyer know that most of those artists wont be there. Before I say anything, I don't think the Woodlands is the best place to host this fantastic event. The main stage was a headache, since they had these weird rules for being in the pit, and you didn't have the option to go hydrate without losing your place. Although I could understand if it were a fire hazard or something, they should have just let the masses congregate, since there was loads of space not being taken advantage of between the pit and the first row of seats. So besides the headache from the Woodlands staff, with an amazing lineup that ID fest have, this event was amazing. Hardwell & Porter Robinson KILLED, and were the highlights of my night. Wolfgang Gartner was also amazing, with Arty and Eva Simmons starting off things well. Eric Prydz was not my cup of tea, but the Nero set was amazing as well. I saw them at Verizon Wireless Theater (now its Bayou Music Center), and they never fail to impress. I thoroughly recommend people with a slight interest in EDM to come to next years IDentity Festival, if only Paul Van Dyk came to Houston, it would have been the best night of my life.

This event as a whole was amazing and unforgettable. The lineup was mind-blowing, Kerli starting us off in her amazing rave gear, and Eric Prydz finishing the entire night with his sick drops...I couldn't stop dancing! Basically, it was one big party. If you enjoy raves, this is the music festival for you!

The event was awesome. All the performers, everything. My only complaint is the price of all the food and drinks, ridiculous.

This show was an absolute BLAST! The sound was phenomenal and we had so much fun that we almost forgot how blistering hot it was... ALMOST. Not the fault of the promotion company OR venue, but definitely took the fun down a notch. The only thing I didn't care for is not being able to bring in snacks. The pavillion food was not desirable in the hot and humid weather. I would hope they would consider changing that in the future.

it was OUTDOORS on one of the most HOTTEST & HUMID evenings ever for a prissy girl like myself, but I LOVED IT!! i'll love it over and over again and again if i could!! you don't have to sit if you don't want to, but you could if you like, and if you like you can sit anywhere (: i can dance like a crazy person and no one will look at me crazy. i walked around and met so many nice friendly people who gave me compliments on my tutu. i randomly complimented other people and they happily accepted it with smiles back. the light shows... are indescribable in an extremely awesome blossom way. honestly, if this festival lasted for days i would have never went home... but i'm glad i went home because i was in need of a shower by the end of the night LOL.

We were able to get in pretty relatively, even though security was pretty tight. (i.e. take off shoes, flip pockets inside out, look inside hat.) Once in, it was really easy to find the stages. But here is when I started to dislike the venue. Why in the world would you hold an EDM festival in a place with seats bolted to the ground, and only a really small area up front to have a pit? This fact was the weakest part of the day. That feeling of camaraderie was lost, because there was too much space separating people, and the seats got in the way a bit. Other than that gripe, i thought the rest of it was excellent. Each following set started within 5 minutes, and the canopy blocking the sun was also really nice. Just wish it would have been an open area, instead of chairs in the way.

The main stage at Gexa had seats, which were restrictive and kept the crowd from dancing freely or moving toward or away from the stage. Security guards kept people from packing in very closely at all, but they were easily circumvented. Our group moved to a hill a little further away so we could gain some freedom of motion while still seeing and hearing what was going on. The search in line wasn't egregious, but security was stricter than average once we got inside.

This show was incredible. Every act was amazing and all leading up to one of my favorite producers, Eric Prydz. It was a little hot outside but it was not that bad because the main stage was under the pavilion. All in all it was a good day.

The Woodlands pavilion folks need to learn that raves are best in the dark and not in the blazing hot hours of summer daylight. But besides that it was amazing, Doctor P and Nero took it to the next level

It was very worth standing in the hot all day to experience this event. I had lots of fun and discovered some new artists too. I came to see Nero and I almost missed it because the second stage was well hidden in the back of the pavilion. I wish there were more signs. Other than that I found the stage and was blown away.!

The lineup was great, the venue was a really poor choice. The hours were awful (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM in August in Texas...really?!?) and the venue just did not seem equipped to handle this kind of event. The staff was very rude.

Best Electronic show to come through Houston. The DJ's were al incredible. Wished that the Pavilion didn't charge $8 for a corn dog though, an all day event like this and people will go broke just to eat/drink.

Although I am a huge fan of EDM and festivals, I was disappointed with identity this year. The Pavillion is a wonderful venue for normal concerts, but is not ideal for festivals and made trying to visit the different stages a major hassle. Additionally, although Eric Prydze is good, I believe there were several other artists on the card who deserved the headlining spot more. Porter Robinson, Nero, and Wolfgang Gardner all put on better shows then him and I feel are more popular.

Loved it overall! There was a middle section that was pretty much blocked off and not used. This space could have been used efficently. Overall, it was a great show.

Concert was amazing however I am still not a fan of the venue selection. It is not ideal to dance with seats everywhere for the main stage.

Miami waited all this time for this? I mean, it was cool, the lineup was pretty okay. But I believe they have to find another venue where they can hold this event. Too many people; not enough room. Most of the artists didnt seem very hyped about being there either. I give it four stars because it was pretty decent for the price.

My only two complaints are that the rock star stage was tiny...sound was still great though. Also the set times...all the best sets at the same time made it really annoying at te end of the day running around to see some and sacrifice seeing others. Free water stations were so clutch!! Lame that they didn't let gen adm into the pit at the kliptsch. GREAT FESTIVAL!!
