I really enjoyed watching Max & Roxi entertain for an evening. I enjoy both of them individually and the evening offered them singing solos and duets, so I felt like I had the best of both worlds. The have good chemistry on stage and compliment each other. The time flew and the show was over before we knew it.

Roxi has a great talent. She has a beautiful voice and plays the keyboard incredibly. Her band is great, especially Dave Bohl, the saxophonist; however, Roxi is re-releasing her same songs over and over again on her albums. She needs to come up with some new music and not just two original songs per album. A person new to Roxi will have enjoyed the show but I think her repeat fans are hoping for newer songs. I have her albums and enjoy her music very much, but I won't see every concert she has until she comes up with some new music.

Roxie did a wonderful job. Great songs, great stories about the making of the songs and wonderful interaction with the crowd. She made you feel as if she was performing for you alone!

Max and Roxi sound so good together. It will be a shame they are going their separate ways. Very noticable the respect for each others talents. The band was awesome. A great collection of VERY talented musicians that provided an excellent background for these two vocalists. Just a perfect way to spend a Sunday evening.

First time I have heard either of them! Excellent concert! The Temple was the perfect venue for them.

Max and Roxi were great together, and they were backed up by an outstanding ensemble--trumpet, sax, lead and bass guitars, drums--and, of course, Roxi at the piano. Their voices blend well, and each is strong on their own--a wonderful evening!

I've been following Roxi since her (unfortunate) days with Final Mix... Thankfully she left that group and branched out on her own - what a great move that was! Roxi has a terrific voice - it's hard to beileve that it comes out of a 5'3" 102lb woman! While it will be very sad to see Roxi move away from Des Moines, this will be a good move for her and allow her to seek out more opportunities to grow. Best of luck, Roxi - you'll be missed here in DSM!
