This show was amazing! They are so different live than they are on their studio recordings. I thought this was going to be a boring show because their album is so mellow, but they RAILED live!

This show went far beyond my expectations. Didn't know how Memory Tapes' music would translate live, since his albums are so lush and produced. Turns out he plays with a full band, and I would describe it as more of a rock show than anything else. The rhythm section was incredibly tight, especially the bass which is very important with Memory Tapes. Overall the sound was spot on and the projections were great, too. The energy of the set list was very high. Probably the best 12 bucks I've spent in years. Highly recommended!

Booked for 8pm, Memory Tapes started playing only at 11pm, after two support acts, and stopped abruptly at midnight, not giving in to that loyal part of the audience which was calling for an encore. The guitars-drum version of Dayve's tracks did not work out. The sounds were ill-attuned. The artists, Dayve in particular, did not seem to feel like playing for us, did not seem to be having fun, nor trying very hard to give us a good time. Please erase my memory for this evening, so that I can go back to listening to his studio tracks.
