Tom Papa was amazingly funny. We laughed the entire time. Venue was nice but some viewing problems due to person sitting on a regular chair in the handicap section in front

Went with a group of friends and we laughed our butts off. Highly recommend anyone seeing Tom reflect on daily life with his clever analogies and anecdotes. Being a sharp guy and someone who still has his wits after dealing with life as we know it, he does not have to resort to stupid 3rd grade, potty mouth humor.

It was a good show once Tom Papa finally came on. It started at least 15 minutes late and the warm-up left quite a bit to be desired. We did enjoy Tom Papa since we went to see him because he was always Jerry Seinfeld's warm up and we always looked forward to him. I thought, perhaps, he would have come out for an encore, but he walked off the stage never to be seen again. Would I see him again....probably. I hope he builds his following up a bit since the Wilbur was a bit empty. Too bad since people did miss a good show.

We saw Tom Papa at the Wilbur Theater on January 28th. He is brilliant! I attend a lot of comedy shows, and I'm a tough audience, but I laughed so hard and so long during this show that I felt like I had worked out at the gym for an hour. He has intelligent but very relatable wit, and he's also very quick when he riffs with the audience. He has a natural delivery with a sharp wit, and he's really likable. I will make it a point to see Tom Papa every time he's in the area. Great, great show!

This was my first time seeing Tom Papa live and found his comedy pretty good! Good rapport with the audience and content was good. Opener Graig Murphy was terrific! He might be just as good. A longer set might tell.

My fiance and I saw the last few minutes of a Tom Papa Comedy Central special on TV and both laughed hysterically. I immediately googled him to see when he would be touring again. We booked this event and were not disappointed. The end of his skit was pretty identical to the comedy central bit but since we hadn't seen the beginning it felt new to us. Very Funny , Very Relate-able.

I wasn't expecting a lot after seeing Tom not do so hot on Conan. I was pleasantly surprised though as you watch Tom more and more his humor wears on you and he gets more likeable throughout the show. When the show was over I didn't want it to end. Usually by the end of a comic's set (especially when it is 60 mins+ , like Tom's was) I am ready to call it a night. Tom does a lot of relationship humor and does a decent amount of interaction with the audience. We found his jokes to be very insightful. His presentation is excellent which helps make him a great comic. Most of his humor is PG-13, with a little bit bordering on R. Another reason why he is one a kind. Go see Tom Papa, you will not be disappointed!

Tom Papa was his usual funny self-- very laid back and natural on stage. He did a good mix of some stuff that I had already seen on his Comedy Central special as well as some bits I haven't heard from him before. There was an 11 year old kid in the front row and he had a blast running jokes about him being out late and how the kid's grandfather was falling asleep right next to him. The local comedian who opened for him was also quite funny- mixing in some general humor with more local topics.

I have never been to a comedy club and knew nothing about Tom Papa. Our friends raved about him so we trusted their judgement and are so glad that we did. He was hilarious and not foul mouthed. He wasn t political or offensive. He made us laugh at the little things in life that we don t often think about. The audience loved him too....it was obvious that most of the people were longtime fans. I would see him again.

We really enjoyed Tom Papa, he is a great Comedian. His routine was funny and relevant to the times. His interaction with the audience was an added treat. The only negative issue we have is the lead in comedian. I don't remember his name, but when a comedian has to stoop so low as to talk about his body parts, it ceases to be funny.

Tom's humor is about making the ordinary funny-we're all human -and all a little bit quirky. People tend to take their lives too seriously sometimes and Tom opens the perspective to encourage us to create positive reactions to ordinary situations and to keep life light. Laughed from beginning to end and after the show as we recalled his act. Not to mention he doesnt swear in his monologue or dialogue- clean language-refreshing!

Tom Papa was great! My wife and I saw him in Springfield, MA and thoroughly enjoyed the show! One of the great things about Tom Papa is that he's not overly vulgar. We're not prudes but many comedians are too crude. Tom doesn't rely on that. He's just plain funny! There are some swear words but overall it's a pretty clean show. The whole audience laughed the entire time. It went by so quickly it didn't seem like it was an hour and a half.

One of the rare comics that is awesome, PG rated and amazingly funny. We've seen his performances over and over, highly recommended! With so many comics that are crude and profanity ridden, Tom Papa's comedy is a hilarious, enjoyable show that deals with real issues and gives an individual a break from the pressure of life. That's about as crude as it gets. GREAT JOB!

A terrific show and a great all-around evening out on a Saturday night. Papa has to be one of the best "clean" stand-up comics there is today. It takes more intelligence and a rehearsed delivery to get laughs when you don't use expletives. He is not going to be politically correct, so be prepared for that. I was familiar with some of his lines from a show I saw on cable TV, but his slice-of-life storytelling seems to know no end. Again, a terrific show.

I bought the tickets because my husband loves Tom. Even though we were SURROUNDED by silver haired audience members the show was still enjoyable. We are a minority couple, & our guest are too. Tom Papa speaks about things everyone can relate towards. He needs to be a professor in comedy. It's not about race, penis size, or how old you are. It's about people, being people. TY Tom!!!!

We have been going to Cobb's Comedy club since it opened in 1982. We go very often. We have seen hundreds of performers. Without a doubt Tom Papa's performance was the best I have seen in several years. He performs without cursing, using insult humor or the need for gross or outrageous sexual references. It is refreshing to enjoy a comedian who understands human nature and relationships and makes you laugh without being over-the-top. No wonder Seinfeld likes him. Papa will go far! Let me start off by saying the comedian was hilarious. We would definitely go to one of his shows again. The venue on the other hand, was a disgrace. Throughout the entire show there was a group of drunk idiots who were yelling, knocking chairs over, and ruining the experience for everyone else. When we asked security why they weren't doing anything, they said they didn't want to start a fight. What are they there for then? I'm glad they got to enjoy the show while all of us had to endure the stupidity of someone who cannot handle their liquor.

Good show if you have a group or limited on choices. The other comedians were not the greatest and was a little slow until Tom Papa took over. As soon as he started the entire place lit up.
