Lions & tigers have nothing on Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor. At this point, I'm utterly convinced that Taylor is the next big act to watch on a solo level. After waiting months to pick up my copy of Dreams Come True, I finally got to experience a phenomenal live performance at the Bowery Ballroom. The sound was dripping with hazy harmonies and notions of nostalgia. The show was absolutely brilliant, and I couldn't fathom missing another performance if it was in my area. As far as Im concerned, Taylor CANT lose. Genius.

Always enjoy shows at the Bowery Ballroom, great atmosphere, decent sound, intimate vibe. Blood Orange sounded great live as well as CANT. Always enjoy the bar/lounge setting of the Bowery as well.

Opening act Blood Orange was energetic and highly entertaining, and the music was great too. Second act, Luke Temple (the performer I came to see), played a delightfully low key set that showcased his stunning vocals. Excellent!! I only stayed for half of the main act CANT because of the long commute back to Lansing. From what I could tell, they were good too. The venue was awesome, and I loved the informal setting and being able to get up so close to the stage. I want to come back to Magic Stick the first chance I get.
