Ghosts Of Jupiter

Ghosts Of Jupiter

GHOSTS OF JUPITER IN CONCERT: Boston-based psych rock outfit Ghosts of Jupiter puts a modern twist on the sounds of the ‘70s with their relaxed vocal harmonies, warm guitar tones, and space-age synths. Bandleader Nate Wilson is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, and as such he brings top-notch musicianship to the stage at every Ghosts of Jupiter show. He’s not alone—Wilson has surrounded himself with a supremely talented group of musicians who combine prog rock-worthy chops with laid-back playing style that perfectly suits the band’s hazy psychedelic vibe. In addition to guitar, bass, and drums, the band has two keyboardists (one of whom doubles on flute) to help them conjure up their hallucinatory, synth-washed sound.

They put on a solid show, mostly original rock and roll.

The Ghosts have their own sound and style yet they have some hints of vintage rock that make their sound so enjoyable. Great variety with their set allows a broad spectrum of listeners to relate to and enjoy their music. What a fantastic evening!
