This show was absolutely amazing! I've loved Carolina Liar for years, so having them was the cherry on top for David Cook.

This is the second time I've seen Gavin in concert (actually my second time at Newport). This is the perfect venue to see him. He is a true artist. He entertains the crowd and gets you up and dancing. The last time I saw him was right after his third album, "Free," came out and he reconfigured all his songs to be acoustic and very chill. This time I saw him was right after his fourth album," Sweeter," came out and his made all his songs more rock and upbeat. AMAZING AMAZING PERFORMER. The opening act, Carolina Liar, was absolutely amazing. I had only heard a couple of their songs before the concert, and I HAD to buy the CD right after the concert. Very VERY talented group!!!

Carolina Liar opened the show with a strong set, followed by David Cook taking the stage for a rocking performance, such as his fans have come to expect. David always brings the loud guitars and crashing drums to go along with his amazing voice and great sense of humor, and this night was no exception. He performed 16 songs, including many from his new album, This Loud Morning. Closing the night was Gavin DeGraw, who delivered a super high-energy set featuring his radio hits and many of the songs from his own new record, Sweeter. Overall, it was a fantastic show, and I hope to see another one on this brief tour before it's over.

Went to see David Cook and he did not disappoint! As always he rocked it out! Played an outstanding set of music from the last CD and the current. Loved hearing Bar-Ba-Sol! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE DC! We actually left after him and didn't stay for Gavin. Carolina Liar was very good and enjoyed them very much. I hadn't heard any of their stuff until I listened to their new CD.

If you are true music fan, Gavin is a must see! One of few bands, singers that actually sound better live than the CD I found David Cook to be boring and all his songs sound exactly the same. There is only so far a good voice can take you in music, you need more....... Hopefully he will learn from being on tour with Gavin

Carolina Liar, David Cook, and Gavin all did a great job. Gavin played every single one of his new songs except "You know where I'm at", which I wasn't fond of anyways. Felt like the show was the perfect length.

Went to see David Cook. Have seen him one other time. Wish he would have been the only headliner as the set list would have been longer. Seats were pretty good, could clearly see all the bands. Sound was okay. Just wish David's time on stage was longer and that he would have played more of his new album and less of his old.

Caroling Liar was great, they were available at the merch table after their part of the show. A nice bunch of guus. We bought their CD. David Cook was unbelievable!!! Best show I have ever seen. The acapella "Fade Into Me" showed off his powerful voice. Loved that he started and ended the show with the first and last songs on his newest album. I can't say enough what a great show he puts on.

My main complaint is the lights used during David Cook's performance were literally blinding they were so bright. We couldn't even look at the stage and watch the performers for fear of facing a instantaneous flash of megawattage that burned our retinas. The only other disappointing aspect was how long it took between acts. Each time was more than a half hour, making this event last over four hours on a Monday night. Considering over an hour of this time was spent in front of a quiet empty stage, I was a little miffed.

Carolina Liar was short but sweet David Cook was suprisingly good, especially towards that last 1/2 of his set Gavin was outstanding as usual, with absolutely great musicians playing as well The Taft Theater was a nice venue, but I thought the sound was a little lacking in Gavin's set. Don't know if that his crew's fault of the venue's.

Gavin DeGraw and David Cook were fantastic! Wish I could have seen Gavin DeGraw better, as when 7 ft. tall people stand in front of you, you pretty much gain the "eclipsed" version of a concert. Luck of the draw I guess, just wish I could have laid eyes on Gavin once or twice instead of looking at a rather large person the whole night. My friend and I are SUCH Gavin DeGraw fans and have been looking forward to him coming back to town this year, but big let down to not even be able to see him. :( Had to get up and walk toward the exit from time to time to even catch parts of the concert. Giving a 4 rating because they sounded great!!! Maybe next time!

I had never really heard any music from Gavin Degraw or David Cook, but I was invited to go with my best friend. I love concerts and she loves David Cook so I figured it would be a good show. David Cook put on a great show! Great performer, great singer, great talent. Gavin Degraw, again, great show! You never knew what to expect from him. Piano, guitar, jumping off the piano, etc. Both guys loved the energy and the interaction with the audience. I didn't come into this concert with a lot of expectations. Just to have fun and enjoy it. Those expectations plus more were met. I would go to another one of these guys concert and would recommend anybody else to go as well. The only downfall had nothing to do with Gavin or David. I had some very tall people in front of me that moved around a lot and it made it hard to see the Gavin, David, and their bands.

Carolina was a great warm up band!! David Cook was by far the best of the three. Wish he would have headlined. Great interaction with crowd. His cover of a Led Zeplin song was out of this world . Showed how talented he truely is as a singer. Gavin was good too, but I like more rock. Great value for the price of tickets!!! Wish they would come to Fayetteville.

I thoroughly enjoyed Carolina Liar as the opening band. They're a talented bunch of guys and truly know how to get a crowd revved up! I am a die hard David Cook fan and the venue was wonderful for showcasing his talent. He and his band put on a spectacular performance. I've never seen Gavin Degraw before and can't say that I'm a real fan but other than the opening song, one would never guess that he was ill. He is an impressive performer. If you don't know/like David Cook or Carolina Liars ur gonna be pretty bored for the first 2 hours. David Cook is a CO-HEADLINER. he does a set as long as Gavin Degraw. It's like 2 concerts in 1. I was disappointed they never did a duet or anything but they both put on pretty good shows. I went for David Cook and I thought he performed very good. Gavin Degraw was a little hard to understand; he's pretty soulful. Overall, average concert but still fun.

Amazing Concert! I got the VIP package, and if you are a true fan of whoever you're going to see, I would suggest the VIP. The meet and greet with Gavin DeGraw was the highlight of my year! All of the bands were great. It was an AWESOME time. The only down side to the event, which is just a minor one, was that with the VIP it doesn't always start on time. We were told to arrive, in BIG BOLD PRINT, no later than 2:30, or we will miss out on the sound check and meet and greet (what we paid for). Well we waited outside for about 45 minutes after the scheduled time. This would normally not have been an issue, but I had to pee (sorry it's true), and I didn't want to leave, come back and see everyone had gone in without me. I told you it was minor. :-)

Although I had never heard of the opening act before, Carolina Liar started it off great! Once David Cook took the stage, the show became amazing. I didn't think it could get any better...until Gavin DeGraw took the stage. Once he did, the show quickly became the most perfect show I could ever attend! Not only would I recommend this show for a friend, I would LOVE to see it several more times...if I could afford it!

This was the second time I saw David Cook and Gavin Degraw on tour this month, it was equally as great as the first time, if not better. The show was a stadium show which was different when I say them at The Pagent in Saint Louis so it effected the atmosphere in a good way, more space to rock out and dance around, and I got to meet them both at the end of the show, being at the end of the meet and greet line, one would think that GDG and DC would be super exhausted but they gave all of us 110% as they signed every autograph and took every picture, they are AMAZING, the only bad part is that they are done touring in december, cause I would definitely see them both again and again!!

The amps were waaaaaaaaay to loud. It was a strange format for a show. Depending on which person you came to see, you had a long wait Carolina Liar was awful. Thirty minutes of them was too much. Since I was there to see David Cook, I was disappointed that he was only on for one hour and didn't even do an encore. The parking prices at this venue are ridiculous.

David Cook is a talented and artistic performer. He played with the audience and made them feel special and part of the show. Gavin was awesome...as usual. I could tell he wasn't 100% vocally, but he gave it everything he had. That made all of us feel like we meant something to him. Soulful melodies and powerful lyrics were just amazing! The concert opened with Carolina Liar, and they were awesome. They got the crowd pumped and sang really well. Their new guitarist is HOT, haha. David Cook has an awesome rock voice and just pumped song after song.... GAVIN DEGRAW, wow. That man dosen't need a microphone or band, just need his vocals. He sang the best songs, all but 1 from his latest album and went back to a few classics. He played the piano for a few, walked around the stage and really connected with the audience. Even sang right to me for one song, and girls around me were screaming, it was AWESOME! I give it two thumbs up, a 10, 100%!

OMG!! David Cook and Gavin DeGraw... just the perfect pairing when concerts go. Even though they only lasted an hour each, I got to watch David do soundcheck and ask a couple of questions for him. The meet and greet was just pure awesome and I met Gavin DeGraw also, not too shabby. I didn't know much of his songs but he also put on a good show. Anyway, I just was on cloud 9 the whole night because of David. His voice and the way he acts just made me melt even more than on TV. I was lucky, very lucky, I found these backstage passes. I just hope he can do it again cause I got so many questions for him and his bandmates. I now know how it kind of works.

Well, first off, my experience started with a meet n greet with Gavin DeGraw. Who turned out to be about 45 minutes late for it. He came in and played a few songs and took a few questions. All the while, just being goofy. The meet n greet lasted maybe 20 minutes. But he did take pictures and sign stuff, then we were offered something to meet him and David, at the end of the show. Carolina Liar went on first. They have a country/rock sound and it was very cool! Then, they erupted into down home show that was definitely a sigh to see. It reminded of Bo Bice (remember him from American Idol?). Afterwards, Chad, from Carolina Liar came out amd met us and was really super nice! A few minutes later, David Cook too the stage. He began with "Declaration", an amazing song. everyone was jumping at that point. His rendition of Billy Joel's "Moving Out" was definitely a hitmaker with the crowd. A lot of folks wanted to see him do his cover of "Billy Jean", but that didn't happen. Gavin performed after David and it was truly awesome, He came out high energy with "I Don't Wanna Be". I also loved his version of "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. He played to the crowd, extremely well. Then there were some other songs, off the "Sweeter" CD, and he ended with "Chariot". Afterwards, he and David Cook offered a 40.00 dollar meet n greet, after the show, where you got a CD, poster, AND T Shirt of your choice, plus you got to meet both of them, so I ended up meeting Gavin again that night.....LOL! Another bonus, especially for me, was that Monday Night Football was playing at The Newport and my DETROIT LIONS, spanked the Chicago Bears 24-13 (DA BEARS). Plus, I got to watch it with one of the cutest, most awesome bartenders ever and....BONUS...She's a Lions Fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing night, Meeting two of my favorite singers, watching an awesome game, kicking it with some of the best fans ever......I couldn't ask for a better experience!!! It was a great end to an awesome evening!

We had never seen Gavin DeGraw live and liked a few of his songs. We were primarily going because we liked a lot of David Cook's music and hadn't seen him live since Idol. Very disappointing. Seemed like he was more distracted trying to figure out how many people were there to see him vs Gavin. Cook's at his best singing his inspirational songs and sang none of them. Besides "Light On" he ignored the hits that helped him sell a million records for his debut. He was very impersonal and cocky. Must have been a bad night. Gavin DeGraw was impressive. Entertaining and positive. Cook should have taken a lesson in showmanship. Carolina Liar were better a year ago when we saw them open for Rob Thomas in Detroit. They're done.

Not a single complaint about David Cook here...third time I have seen him in concert, and he truly keeps getting better...His band killed it too. First time I have ever paid $ for VIP experience--so worth it! Sound check+meet and greet with your favorite artist = priceless. Show was a mix of mostly his new stuff, some of his old, Muse cover (not sure how you do Muse better than Muse, but he pulled that one off), Zeppelin (you can't out-Zeppelin Zeppelin, but it's commendable when you can hang on their song, and sound awesome doing it). Taft was the perfect venue, small enough for DC to go fully unplugged on "Fade Into Me". Which may have just been the single best concert performance I have ever seen. Oh yeah, and Carolina Liar and Gavin Degraw? Well, I went to this show strictly to see DC, and came away with a newfound appreciation for both. If I could give this concert ten stars, I would.

The concert was amazing and the Showbox Sodo is a great place for a concert. The bar has great drinks and food while you wait for the concert area to open. You can stand within 3 feet of the stage, sit back by the bar or choose to stand back from the crowd. No matter where you choose to view the concert from you will have a great view. Both David and Gavin were incredible--even though their genres of music are different, they went together very well. David went first, and he was amazing...playing some of his most famous songs from AI days and his more present CD, interacting with the audience, and having as much fun as we were...he was fantastic, and I would go to see him again, anytime! Gavin was equally as good...he was a little sick, so the meet & greets were canceled (which didn't impact me), but his voice was still fantastic...he sang some of his best songs, ending with bigger-dance songs, so that the audience was singing and dancing along with him. He was fantastic. The concert was held on the campus of Wake Forest University at their chapel, and the seating was not that great--it was general admission, the seats were not theater seating, and the location was hard to find because the wrong location was listed on Ticketmaster, but I was able to get a good seat, and thoroughly enjoyed the concert. I highly recommend it!!

David Cook s vocals were like he was screaming out the lyrics due to the loudness of the band. He was also a little too obnoxious in his comments in between songs. I won't go to another concert of his. I was disappointed with the time (approx. 1 hour) Gavin was on stage. He seemed like every song was back to back without a break. It was like he had somewhere else to go and wanted to finish in a hurry. I've been to several of his concerts before. I won't purchase another concert ticket in the future. It's really sad due to the fact I am a big fan of Gavins and have enjoyed him in other venues.

We only wanted to see David Cook and believe me, we were not disappointed in his performance!!! I have loved him since he sang "Billie Jean" on American idol. i always hated that song until he put his personal spin on it. I figured if he could make me actually like that song, then he was ok. Anyway, he pleased the crowd with his own songs plus of few of others. He still is GREAT!

I have to admit I really had little interest in Carolina Liar, but they rocked out pretty good. I also was very unfamiliar with Gavin DeGraw, just not my genre. David Cook was over the top. His voice was so beautiful & strong. He sang a combination of his first record & the new one, This Loud Morning. He interacted with the audience with his usual charm & humor. (Not my first concert of his). The cover of Muse' Stockholm Syndrome was such a hot rock up song. He had the whole place rocking. But, when he sang his current single, Fade into Me, with just his acoustic guitar & unplugged (no sound system), he had the entire theatre in the palm of his hand!!!!! That performance was stunning, amazing, incredible; showed why he won American Idol. I would recommend anyone who loves rock/pop music to attend one of Cook's concerts. He is one magnificent artist & entertainer.

I have waited a long time to see David Cook and he was worth it. He rocks! Gavin DeGraw was also excellent. Though I am not a fan, his show was very entertaining.

So enjoyed David Cook's concert at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati on November 7. I live in Philadelphia, but his show is definitely worth travelling to see. Amazing voice, terrific songs, great music, fun time. Just learned that he will be at the Keswick in Philly. . .and, yes, I will be there!

David Cook was absolutely amazing! He is great with the audience. He even did a song without a microphone and no backup, it was the best!!!!

I have been a Gavin fan since I saw him open for Maroon 5 in NYC in 2003. This concert was my 6th Gavin concert and he amazes me every time. He is so entertaining and his voice is so mesmerizing. The best part of a Gavin concert is when he is acoustic because you can appreciate his vocal abilities so much more than with the band behind him. He is one of my favorite artists. To be perfectly honest, we were not too excited to see David Cook prior to the show. He was amazing! Completely knocked our socks off and was so endearing. You can tell that he loves his music and loves to play it live for anyone who will listen. We truly became David Cook fans that day just by the way he connected with the crowd. He even joked that you could tell who the Gavin fans were in the crowd because they were sitting with their arms crossed and that his mission by the end of his set was to win a few of them over. Mission accomplished! Wonderful concert!

Overall a great show! David Cook is a great musician and blew the audience away with his cover of "Been A Long Time Since I Rock and Rolled". I would've loved to have heard him play some of the stuff he did while he was on American Idol, but I know he's probably trying to make his own way without that tie. I went to the concert specifically to see Gavin DeGraw and was not at all disappointed. What an amazingly talented musician!!! Loved that he threw in some cover songs too! I like him even more now and will definitely see him live again. I was sad he didn't sing "Cheated On Me", as that's my favorite song by him!!!

My wife and I celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with David Cook at this concert. The seats were better than expected. The sound was outstanding. The overall concert by David Cook was one of the best we have seen. The Verizon Center Staff were excellent, friendly and very cooperative.

I went to see Gavin DeGraw. Love him! He's so, so good live! As I expected he and his band were awesome! I've seen him live about 6 times and this was absolutely one of the best I've seen. I will not pass up an opportunity to see him live. Gavin did a solo with just him and his piano for Spell It Out and that was a great moment. Really he didn't stop the whole show. There were basically no pauses between songs. They just kept on going. It was great! He played all but 2 songs on his latest album and many from his other albums. David Cook was good. Really rocked. Other than his hits, I didn''t know any of his music. Besides the hits, the rest all seemed very rock and roll. He was good. Carolina Liar were good. I hadn't seen them or heard much of their music. I don't know that I would pursue them further but they had a lot of energy and did a good job getting the crowd ready for David Cook. To sum it up, it was a great show! I will always look forward to the next Gavin DeGraw show...

I loved this concert, every second of it. Carolina Liar opened the show and blew everybody away. What an amazing group of guys.Next up was David Cook and he performed a very solid set.I loved his jokes and uber professionalism on stage. He sounds great live.I have so much respect for an artist that comes out and plays music. No gimmicks or special effects, just God given talent.Gavin Degraw closed the show and was clearly the headliner. The crowd went completely nuts. His voice is pure and beautiful and he knows how to work the stage. The only complaint I have is about the venue. The Fox in Pomona is a beautiful theater but their way of handling the people in line and organizing who goes in first leaves a lot to be desired.

I was counting down the days to see Gavin Degraw up close at the intimate Fox Theatre! He is unbelieveably talented and so entertaining. He sang some of his classics from his first two albums and of course hot new tracks from his latest album, "Sweeter." He was kind enough to give his band a break for awhile as he sang a beautiful solo. Watching him play the piano and sing with such emotion made every girls' heart flutter in the crowd. Although I was really there just to see Gavin Degraw, I have to give a great applause to Carolina Liar and David Cook for an outstanding performance as well!

Somehow I thought Gavin Degraw was the opener for David Cook, so I wore too-high heels, thinking I wouldn't be standing too long. Well, five hours later my feet were falling off. But Mr. DeGraw made it all worthwhile with his humor, generosity and inspired performance. He's just delicious and adorable with a gritty, old soul voice.

I bought the VIP package is it was very very worth it?! Gavin DeGraw was very comical during the sound check party and was very very excellent to his fans. His performance was amazing as always and so was David Cook! I really love how Gavin mixes in cover songs with his originals. David Cooks cover was excellent.

All three acts were worthwhile. Carolina Liar opened and Gavin DeGraw closed this show. David Cook and Gavin DeGraw are taking turns midlining and closing. their sets are equal in length. My favorite was the hard rocking David Cook set. His voice, music and the ambitious arrangements of his songs were stunning. His set was an amalgam of songs from his first self titled record and his new record, This Loud Morning. The live renditions are much "harder" than the recorded versions, but spot on! I also loved his cover of Muse's Stockholm Syndrome. He closed the set with an acoustic version of his new single, Fade Into Me.

I loved hearing David Cook in concert, especially the acoustic guitar and him singing solo at the end, the best sound for him. The Fox Theater Pomona venue seating was misleading as we found our ticket for the Loge as the same as Balcony row, marked with handwritten papers hanging from seats, and there were no seat numbers. Our usher had no clue where our seats were located, he brought us to two seats and the guy sitting next to one empty one said it was taken so the usher led us farther back to two empty seats and said to take those. It was very unorganized. Then halfway through the evening the air conditioner blasted cold air that was much colder than the outside night air that was below 60 degrees.

Opening act Carolina Liar was great. David Cook was his usual awesome self. He mixed songs from his first album, some covers and songs from his new album which were all beyond great. The last song "Fade into Me" done acoustically with only him on stage blew me away. can't wait to see him again. Gavin was the third act and the first time I saw him in concert and he was really good too but David Cook stole the show for me.

My brother and I have been fans of Gavin Degraw for several years now, we were lucky enough to catch the soundcheck and meet and greet. Never have I met a more down to earth, respectable human being than Gavin Degraw. He talked to all of his fans that approached him, welcomed them with open arms, and made the experience especially intimate for us! Gavin has soul to the bone, song after song, after song, he delivered an outstanding performance with stellar vocals...I wish I could listen to him sing live every single day. He is better live than on CDs. If you have never seen him live, I high recommend it!

I didn't know who David Cook was but he was a really good artist and I'm glad I had a chance to see him in concert, loved most of his music and enjoyed his drummer the most! Then when Gavin DeGraw came on it was unforgettable! I just wish it was a longer concert, but overal it was a really really great time! He danced and played the piano! I loved it. Well worth the money.

David Cook stole the show! Once again, David did not disappoint. He delivers a captivating performance & pulls you into his love of entertaining. Great combination of old & new songs. The setlist just flowed! As my 4th show to attend of his, he has a way of leaving one wanting for more. The VIP Meet & Greet, which was an available upgrade, was just cherry on top of an already satiating performance.

We really enjoyed seeing Gavin DeGraw and David Cook in San Diego. I was drawn to the event because of Gavin (have enjoyed his sound, lyrics and essence over the past five years). Gavin seasoned his set with a mix of 15+ current and past songs. However, I was very impressed with newcomer David Cook and his band (new to me). He rocked the house with some symbolic sounds and lyrics of his own.

I had purchashed tickets to see David Cook. I was not familiar with Gavin DeGraw. After seeing this show I am a fan forever. What an amazing artist and his ability to personalize his connection with the audiance put his performance over the top.Gavin DeGraw was a hard act to follow for David Cook. Cook's was good, but He didn't have that ability to make a connection with his audience like DeGraw.

Gavin Degraw was charismatic and exhilirating. His band was very loud and louder than his singing during the first couple songs but the sound engineers improved it by the end of the concert.

This was my first time at Humphrey's and the place was great. It did however seem that the sound or accoustics were really off. David Cook sounded great but at times seemed to be ahead of his band... We were really disappointed in Gavin DeGraw and left after 3 songs.

Carolina Liar opened the show and did an AWESOME job of getting the crowd warmed up! They were SO GOOD live and I will for sure be purchasing their CD. David Cook, was good. But he wasn't really much of a performer, he just kind of sang. He was good though. Gavin was just OUT OF THIS WORLD. I got to meet him, and not only was he just THE NICEST guy, he was one kick ass performer. I would give anything to relive this night again! Gavin DeGraw is a MUST SEE!
