HALF PAST TWO IN CONCERT:Half Past Two continue their reign as one of Southern California's premier ska bands, returning in 2014 from a two-year hiatus with more energy and sax-fueled bombast than ever. The band's live shows are decidedly boisterous affairs, as frontwoman Tara Pierce leads seven talented players through dizzying sets of fast-paced ska while happy concertgoers skank in abandon. Half Past Two have warmed up the stage for some of the genre's biggest acts, and their energetic live performances have them well on their way towards a headlining tour of their own.BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:A group of students at Orange County's Los Alamitos High School formed Half Past Two in 2002.
