Broadway Dreams Benefit Concert

This event showcased some very fine young talent. The scenes brought back memories of Broadway shows that have made lasting impressions, particularly the scenes from "Les Mis" and "Sweeney Todd." Other such numbers would have provided the opportunity to showcase some of the great voices of the BDF cast. The dance numbers were all very similar and did not reflect all aspects of MT dance. A scene with tappers from something like "42nd Street" or the ballet dream sequence from "Oklahoma" would have been a great addition.
