What an amazing and intimate show!!! Incredible band, great venue!

The acoustics were amazing and there were many great moments along the way --- Kelly singing California, Erik Slick (Dr Dog) on Don't Let Me Down, acoustic version of Tear It Up among others --- but the fidgety crowd was itching to get to the bar. Often. And then the restrooms. Some strolled back in the door (near where we were sitting) and were oblivious to the music as if were just a jukebox at the local bar. I think this show was too special for that kind of casual attitude but you can only pick the band not the fans. Something seemed amiss with Jessica Lea Mayfield's contributions, didn't really fit in as well as expected. The band backed her up nicely but I expected duets with Matt similar to her work with Seth Avett. The "& friends" format is a great opportunity to do things you don't normally get to do and I didn't feel she and the band seized the moment. All in all this was a good experience. Delta Spirit is way underrated which is a good thing if you enjoy seeing bands in an intimate, unique setting. They rocked out on a few songs especially just before the encore but got the chance to showcase their immense lyrical and musical talent. Side note: if you ever go to this venue be sure to check the Verizon Center's schedule. The metro problems Thursday night along with the Kevin Hart performance at Verizon created 8PM gridlock and quite a few of us arrived late.

A Stellar performance by Delta Spirit at the music Hall of Williamsburg. Their new material and their old were performed flawlessly. Matt Vasquez was in rare form and his stage anticsare always entertaining

Band sounded awesome. Matt is becoming a better and better front man as the years go on. Very lively performer. Can't wait to see them again!

If paradise can get the sound figured out so it reaches more than the front floor, i would give this event 5-stars but once again i wanted to hang out on the balcony and the sound was muted....

This show was unbelievable...completely high energy from top to bottom. These guys are the real deal! Can't wait for them to come back!

I felt that Delta Spirit LIVE was 8X better then their album, but then again, what show isn't? The venue should have been larger- and I'm sure next time they're in MPLS it will be.

i went specifically to see darker my love. having seen them 3 or 4 times in NYC before, this was by far, their weekest show. delta spirit was just absolutely dreadful, and we left after their 3rd song. the 1st opening band ( the fling ) outclassed them all.

I would totally see them again, love their albums and on stage they bring thier music to life! Can't wait to go to another show!

Of all the shows I've been to, this one was definitely the best by far! So amazing that I'm writing a review. Delta Spirit is totally worth seeing live. They play such a long set and they're so passionate about what they do, you can feel each word that's sung.

The bands were awesome, the venue, beautiful. It was a great night. Everyone there was very enthusiastic.

Having seen them twice before I had high expectations and they blew them away. Great energy, great crowd, and most importantly a tight performance of great music.

Previously to the show i hadn't listened to any of the bands and a friend asked me to go. I was glad i made the decision to check them out and the show was very entertaining. I came to find out one of my friends was also at the show and knew the fling. All together and awesome time and would recommend anyone who hasn't seen them to check them out as well as the openers The Fling and Darker My Love. I have become a fan and plan on supporting them in the future. Thanks guys. Kevin

Delta spirit put on a amazing show Wednesday night at the Music Box. The small venue was great with this band. The song lineup was very upbeat and kept the crowd going. The encore was amazing and it was great how the singer Matt Vasquez got with the crowd and actually danced with everyone !! Epic ! Good crowd, good music and great venue amounted to a excellent time. I will definitely go to another Delta Spirit concert.

Thank god these guys kicked ass live. I've been in love with their albums for a while now, and it's always the true testament to a band's virility if they can pull it off live. Well, they sure did. High energy, well tuned vocals, complete with signature screams. Webster hall is really bass heavy, so there were muddy moments, but who cares. The energy was there, and I know what he's singing anyway. Multi-instrumentation was seamless and great to see in person. A flawless performance from one of the most under-recognized bands out there.

Having recently discovered Delta Spirit I was happy to see they would be playing in NYC, so I figured what the hell I"ll get myself a ticket. From the moment they hit the stage their energy along with the crowd continued to rise. Honestly I don't think I saw one person who was not dancing or singing along. They sounded amazing....if it wasn't for the crowd cheering you would think you were just listening to them on your iPod. I will certainly be seeing them again when they come back into town!!!

No one does it like they do. Matt Vasquez and crew are a powerhouse to be reckoned with.

Inventive, fun and an overall great proformance. even the openers amazed me. only complaint was the bright lights in my eyes, but thats the risk you take

Delta Spirit's Friday night show in Boston was an absolute blast. They are all superb musicians, the are clearly having fun together, and the energy was unbeatable. I had to remind myself that I have a job and so can't go follow them on the road.

I am a big fan and had not been to the 'Dise.. so was looking forward to the show. Mostly, it was great. I thought 2 opening acts were excessive and became very tired by the time the Delta Spirit came on. I did enjoy their set, and for the price it can't be beat. Overall the experience was good. If you don't mind standing on your feet for hours, the opening acts were good as well.

This band puts on an awesome show. I've seen them 3 times now and have never been disappointed. They are even better live than recorded--which is hard to come by these days. While the show in June at the Bowery Ballroom was about as good as a show can possibly be, this one was still great.

The band sounded very different in live than on their album, and not in a good way. The lead singer made me think of if Axel Rose was the front man for Kings of Leon. Plus, there was a medical emergency. Lastly, it is now confirmed that Webster Hall is not one of my favorite venues.

Fidlar was cool. Jeff the Brotherhood was also cool. I actually went to see them, but I liked Delta Spirit's performance more. But Jamin and Jake seemed really cool and chill. A mosh pit occurred during their performance. Delta Spirit was lots of fun. Like a light show, Matthew was very interactive with the crowd.

Delta Spirit puts on one of the finest rock shows I have ever seen or heard. They are the real deal. If you want to go see a show and not leave disappointed, go see Delta Spirit. It's the type of thing you tell your grandkids about.

I've seen Delta Spirit and always enjoyed their shows, but this latest format was truly something unique and special that I hadn't seen with any other band before. The show wasn't entirely acoustic but Matt Vasquez had an acoustic guitar the entire set. The songs were done with a full band but at a slower pace. You really got the impression that Delta Spirit realized that they've been a band for awhile and that they really wanted to do something special for their fans. This show was truly special indeed. With all the guest they brought on stage to perform songs with Delta Spirit or without, it truly added depth to the show. I know it will be awhile before Delta Spirit tours again and I'm glad to have caught them on this last leg of their unique touring experience.

Delta Spirit has an incredible energy and personality and they are incredibly talented to boot.

Let me first say that I am a long time fan of DS and see them every chance I can. I was very excited to hear about their show at sixth and I which is quite special for its intimacy and synagogue setting. It was also billed to be a special kind of show with special guests/friends, so I imagined they would play new arrangements, maybe even different instrumentation for the intimate environment. Instead, it was not much different than a show they would have played at the 9:30 club, except it was a smaller audience, seated crowd, and felt a little out of place when they kicked off with a full rocking version of Bushwick Blues. There were some golden moments like the acoustic trio of Devil Knows You're Dead, and when he took a call from his partner on speaker phone. One of their "friends", Jessica Lea Mayfield, definitely wasn't ready for prime time, which was unfortunate, but forgettable. Overall we enjoyed the show but have to call it average for the mismatch of arrangements with setting and disappointing special guests. Nevertheless, I can't wait for DS to return to DC!

This was an absolutely amazing show! Delta spirit always delivers, and just 'has fun' with the audience instead of just performing. This time was even better, with loads of special guests singing their own songs AND delta spirits songs - Cold war kids, dawes..... Seriously the best way to spend a Monday night (or any night for that matter)! On a side note - the new Teragram Ballroom may be one of my new favorite venues in LA. Really great intimate place for a show.

Passionate intensity, great vibe between the band and the audience, winning mix of older and newer material. The newer tunes were excellent, and even some of the hardest driving numbers retained the wistfulness and deft touches (ghostly keyboards) that mark the band's best songs. Terrific energy - hard to think of a better way to spend a cold Monday night!

Delta Spirit blew the roof off of the Chameleon Club in Lancaster! What a great night of amazing music! I would definitely see them again!

Concert cancelled at last minute. No alert or announcement sent out beforehand. Very disappointed.

Loved the venue - small enough crowd where it felt like a personal show. Band was great - buzzed to the point where they were hilarious! Even so, Matt's voice was beautiful as always. I've seen them at some bigger venues in LA, and I've got to say this one was by far the best.

They played some of their classic songs like they should be played... more drums, more guitars, more piano, more style, and more of Matt's awesome voice!

First time at venue, upstairs balcony very viewer friendly. Actually had table right at railing. Bar just steps away, Stella on tap, good price. Sound was good, Delta Spirit rocked, big energy, crowd definitely knew music. Great night, going back tonight Afghan Whigs, pumped!

Wow. Just wow. Even if you only slightly like Delta Spirit, it is worth seeing them live. So much energy and passion! They really put on a fun show and will play all the songs you love and more!

Epic show. Venue is fantastic. The bar has a great selection and reasonably priced, lots of space so its not stupid packed, cool balcony with seating. Overall just a fantastic experience

Aside from Fidlar, the opening acts were great. And of course Delta Spirit rocked it!

Fidlar and Jeff The Brotherhood were far inferior. Delta Spirit was far beyond any expectation in an amazing venue.

This is my third time seeing these guys and they never disappoint. They know how to put on a great live show with energy.

This is the second time I have seen Delta Spirit and I really enjoyed the little twists they put into the this past concert. I never got the feeling I was watching the same show as before. This beauty of this group is that no matter how much people want to "pigeon hole" them, you can't. Their like a baseball pitcher who only relies on one or two pitches. Delta Spirit has many pitches to choose from. They start you off easy then hook you right into their mood. The only mystery to me is that they are so much better live so if people want to really get into them, do go watch a live performance if you can. Can't wait for their next show.

I love seeing this band for many reasons: 1. They are full of energy and really get the crowd going. 2. There is an awesome variety of people that attend which creates for a fun dynamic, energy, etc. 3. Their different. Some call it rock, some call it modern rock, some say folk-ish with a twist 4. They usually stick to smaller venues which makes for an even better show 5. They have great opening bands as well Overall...AWESOME.

Love their music..Bo wasn't completely on his game...lots of mistakes but they still did a great show. Wish they would have played more music from the latest album but I'm sure old fans liked the amount of old stuff played.

One of the best shows I've seen in NY. This was my first Delta show and they did not let me down. The performance was awesome and I absolutely loved their set list. Webster was a cool venue as I was able to easily get to the front. However the drinks were way over priced.

Loved the concert! Thought Webster hall has very expensive drinks for what they are!

This show was one of the best I've seen in NYC, and I am NOT saying that lightly. From start to finish I couldn't help but stomp my feet, throw my hands in the air, and join along in the party. Matthews energy was giddy and entertaining and his vocals raw and powerful. The songs from the new album have allowed him to be far more creative and have showcased his incredible vocal talent. Awesome set, great lighting and truly talented musicians! The whole band was spot on without any dull moments or down time. This is a group to watch closely!
