That Lianne La Havas grew up admiring such magnetic vocalists as Jill Scott and Mary J. Blige comes as no surprise. The 24-year-old London native’s early morning voice melds against a spectrum of classic R&B and pop influences, effecting a vibrant blend of neo-soul that is simultaneously new and familiar. The result garnered Havas’ debut album, Is Your Love Big Enough? the title of iTunes Album of The Year in 2012.

Lianne la Havas and her band put on a beautiful performance at Terminal 5. Lianne's vocals were just as strong and clear live as they were on record, if not more so! Ms. Frida and the band were in top form as well. This was my third time seeing her perform and she's only getting better. If you haven't seen her live then you are doing yourself a big injustice. Next time she's performing in your town grab a ticket or two, you won't be disappointed.

I love Lianne La Havas, but if you've seen her, you've seen her. What I mean is that the show doesn't change at all from one show to the next. There's nothing visually compelling about the show or any theatrics. It's just Lianne, her guitar and a band. The music is great, as always, but not much deviation from the album, so it's like listening to the album loudly. In Atlanta, it's very annoying because there's this one "person" who thinks she's being funny by yelling "I LOVE YOU LI LI!" throughout the entire show. That person failed to read the interview that Lianne did with a London paper indicating that she hated that and that it was disrespectful. She even called that person out in the interview. Anyway, the show is really good and if you want to see her, then definitely go see her, but don't expect an epiphany. It's just great music played live without any surprises.

For a somewhat large crowd and space the show was one of the most intimate I've ever seen because she connected so genuinely with the audience. Her voice was phenomenal and stage presence was beautiful. She did a great mix of songs and everyone loved it.

Her " my name is Lianne" was a sign for a genuine artist was going to give a crowd, that's been waiting along time for her to show in Nola, an awesome show that no one will forget. I was upset that she didn't do everything,everything and elusive. But she was more focused on getting blood album out which I was not mad. She gave us an extra treat with I say a little prayer for you. She was just amazing and beautiful inside out. Great performer. Please Lianne come back after that third album

I had not even heard of Lianne La Havas until about two months prior to the show at Center Stage Theater. I had listened a bit prior to the show so that I would not seem so awkwardly out of place. (See a previous review, I was one of the tall people in the front). From the moment LiLi hit the stage I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience. The crowd was irrepressible with their excitement. LiLi lit the Center Stage Theater ablaze with a vocal performance like no other. The passion she has for performing her material was evident as was her appreciation for us, the fans. I will be seeing another show and another and another. This show made me a fan of the artist and now both "Is Your Love Big Enough" and "Blood" remain in constant rotation. Thank you LiLi.

Lianne La Havas and her band are fantastic! The eclectic styles they showcase created a truly outstanding concert. My husband and I particularly enjoyed the ambiance: floral stage decor is unusual and elegant. We also loved the little things thrown in, like the audience participation and the TARDIS sound they threw into "Unstoppable," which made the two of us Doctor Who fans lose our minds even more than we already were! Lianne is a wonderful musician with an amazing band and we are so glad they are outside the box in what they do. Possibly my favorite show to date.

Toning down to solo acoustic at Rough Trade made for an extra engaging, intimate show. Lianne is truly an incredible musician and artist with a unique blend of styles. She brings such wonderful enthusiasm and is genuine in every way. Saw her in September 2015 and bought tickets for this event as soon as they went on sale. I was close to the stage and Lianne and her band were absolutely glowing! The sound quality was also amazing. I also wouldn't have enjoyed the concert as much if it weren't for the roaring, enthusiastic crowd. Only part that sucked was the tallest people in the crowd were at the front row. Would love to see her again!

Lianne puts on an incredible show and the sound was incredible. The only reason for the lack of one star is because the show is a tad short at under an hour and a half. but if you love her, you will get everything you came for because she plays a majority of her material and all of the songs you would expect her to play. Show was great, lianne has a lovely voice but we were highly disappointed with the start time. We came from out of town for the 7pm show. We were there on time about an hour early but figured not enough time to eat diner so we figured it's an early enough how we will just go for diner after. Sadly nobody came on stage until 830. The opening act was pretty great. A solo artist playing acoustic guitar. So after playing for almost an hour we then finally saw lianne for 930. Not sure if she just didn't want to come out until the hall was really full?? But found it to be a bit disappointing when you purchase tickets that state 7pm show and then your standing there purchasing 7$ drinks because theres not much else to do while waiting. Great show but that kinda ruined it for us

Didn't know too much about Ms. La Havas before hearing a review of her on work on the radio and decided to take a chance. So very glad we did! The show was outstanding and the venue was much better than expected. I will very much consider seeing Ms. La Havas again and also look for future shows at Royale.

Last night I had the incredible blessing of hearing Ms. Lianne La Havas sing her soul away at the Royale club and people I'm still in awe! This beautiful spirit has such a natural cool vibe to her and effortless swag on stage, you can tell she was meant to be a star! So humble,so soulful with a twist of rock here and there, Ms. La Havas doesn't need the distraction of glitz and glamour to get anyones attention, her talent speaks volumes! I loved get energy and sweet soulful harmony on stage! Her band is also pretty awesome! I can relive an acoustic session of her great tunes any day!!Once again my iTunes budget has exceeded Can't wait for another show, artists like lianne are my daily inspiration! The show was absolutely breathtaking. Watching Liane La Havas sing "Wonderful" with opening act, Keenan O'Meara brought tears to my eyes. The openers, Keenan O'Meara, Nick Hakim + his band were stunning. All of the performances were full-heart and sounded incredible. Such an honor and privilege to attend such a special night and always a treat to have such a courageous beauty on our side of the pond.

From Keenan O'Meara to Nick Hakim, and lastly to the ever-so-lovely Lianne La Havas, I was floored. I'm 26 years old and I have to sadly admit that this was my first ever concert experience; and it was awesome. Everyone sounded wonderful and just like their cds if not better. I went with my brother and we got a great spot near the front. Probably one of the best nights of my life. It was surreal seeing these talented individuals up so close after watching them on youtube for years! Great job to the band and key musicians, I hope to attend more shows from each of the acts!

I am a big fan & member of WXPN and their diversity in music and that is where I first heard Lianne and became aware that she was coming to Philadelphia for the start of her tour. So I decided to see if my girlfriend and a friend of hers would like to go see her. They weren't familiar with her music and I was a little concerned whether they would like her as much as I did. Anyhow we get to the concert and within one or two songs my girlfriend turns around and looks at me with the biggest smile... Priceless! Both of them would not think twice of seeing her again and again. Thanks Lianne for an amazing show.

Lianne is one of few artists who sounds better live because the perfection of her voice can't be completely captured on recordings. I wish she had a live album! Her voice is pure and her vocal range is out of this world. She is so talented, quirky, humble and engaging. She owns the stage! I would see her a million times over.
