Eugene did a fantastic job hosting the evening and managed to do a substantial amount of material. Unless you have seen these folks recently, it is likely that everthing will feel fresh. Well, nearly everything. Goldthwait does mention, again, how he looks and sounds different. Don't worry, his set is great and fresh, as well. BONUS! There was a surprise guest!

I went into the show with fairly high expectations. Having seen Eugene Mirman before, I knew it would be a great show. Soon after purchasing tickets, Kristen Schaal and Jon Benjamin were added - a treat for me, as they are my two all-time favorite voice actors. The only wild cards (for me) were Wyatt Cenac and Bobcat Goldthwait. I was not very familiar with their work and had otherwise down-graded my expectations. I was severely wrong in doing so. Every performer was amazing. With varied comedic styles, the whole show had a range of comedy from improvised rants to humorous anecdotes. By the end of the evening, I honestly couldn't decide who I thought had the best set; everyone stole the show. And the additional surprise guest of Jonathan Katz was a nice touch. Eugene knows how to throw a comedy gig. I definitely plan on attending again in the future.

I laughed so hard I almost peed. Each act was hilarious, especially Kristen Schaal. My only complaints were the cramped seating and the lack of intermission ( I wanted to get a drink, but I didn't want to miss a joke).

Mirman was a wonderful MC, he did some great routines between each comic. Kept the show flowing along nicely. Benjamin and Schaal were good. Thought Bobcat and Cenac brought down the house. Two and half hours of non-stop laughs!

Eugene Mirman's lineup of comedians to kick off his Comedy Festival was amazing. Wyatt Cenak, Kristen Schaal, Jonathan Katz, Jon Benjamin and Bobcat Goldthwait were all on their game and funny. A great time. Just wish I could have made more events that weekend.

The whole lineup was great- my face hurt from laughing by the end of the night. The venue is great- I doubt there's a bad seat in the house. Although if you're toward the back near the bar it can sometimes be difficult to hear/focus on the comedians when there's so much talking from the bar staff. Also the drinks are crazy expensive but that's what you get in that part of town. The waitstaff was great though. Overall stellar time!

I've been to two Eugene Mirman shows as well as seeing his work in Bob's Burgers, Flight of the Conchords, Home Movies, Archer, Delocated, etc. The guy is always funny, and I nearly hurt myself laughing at both shows. He also brings other great comedians into these shows, so you're entertained from start to finish. I try never to miss a Pretty Good Friends show if they're in Boston.

Wow, Bobcat was funny as #%^&. So was Ron Fienes. There were some down moments, but it was amazing. And Ben Gibbard performing a couple tunes was a bonus. I would go weekly if these guys were always around...

Not much to say about this show other than I was surprised at how funny it was not. Michael Ian Black was the biggest disappointment for me. Bobcat was okay. Eugene ran the show and was by far the most "on." Seeing Ben Gibbard was such a treat, but really, this was supposed to be a comedy show. Bummer!!!
