Project 9-6-1 Cinco Party

The past two years this event was held in Winter, and at "Center-stage Music Complex". Sadly, although Wild Bill's did seem like an awesome venue. I fear the heat had something to do with the lack of turnout in comparison to previous years, but for my money it seemed poorly Orchestrated on Project 9-6-1's behalf. I honestly was gravely disappointed to see an event I had grown to love, and look forward to each year become such a sham. Truly a mere glimpse of its former self. I was to be an every year proud attendee, quite frankly, I doubt they'll even have one at all next year.

There was a lot to like in this event. Lots of good looking ladies wearing almost nothing and a some good bands. Foxy Shazam and the Beastie Boys cover band were the best. That Neil Diamond band sucks out loud and I am disappointed in Project 961 for bringing them in. Other than that...great show.

The bands were great and the theme was fin, I just wish I knew the order of the bands. Also was surprised at the headliner. Thought the other three tribute bands were WAY better.

Everyone rocked w/the exception of Chevelle, they sucked!

This was a great day musically for sure !! Awesome line-up of some of the greatest acts out there touring ! Art of Dying , Five Finger Death Punch , Adelitas Way and Shinedown were all must see bands any chance you get !! This was my first time at this venue and must say its very cool! Thestaff generally needs training on how to have fun and treat their customers. Overall all they were crabby, not polite and acted like they didn't want to be there. Parking is also extremely unique and one must read the venue's web site when attending !! Still , an event I wouldnt miss if given a chance to attend again .

This is the 4th Cinco concert in ATL that we we ave seen and it was one of the best. The lineup was fantastic. Look forward to next year.

This was an incredible experience!! Most of the intro bands were pretty decent and the main performances were awesome. Chevelle and Shinedown are phenomenal live, and all the bands did their best to make the experience more than standing there and listening to great live music. I would definitely recommend this in the future!!

Volbeat, Chevelle, 5 Finger Death Punch & Shinedown- all in one show, best Cinco Party ever!! It was a hot afternoon full of great music, got a cool lightening show in the background during 5 Fingers set & the entire arena was on their feet, singing "Simple Man"... with Shinedown-unforgettable!

I surprised my husband with tickets to this event for his birthday. He is a HUGE Five Finger Death Punch fan. We attended the entire event and were extremely pleased with the performance of all the bands, especially Five Finger Death Punch. We left early during Shinedown's performance, we just weren't feeling it with them. Chevelle, Volbeat & FFDP were awesome. Shinedown....eh, so so.

This show was amazing!! Great Bands that played all of their popular songs. We had the best seats and paid a minimal price through the sponsoring radio station. Venue was clean and well organized. We would definitely return for another show there!!

Art of Dying was awesome! I personally wish they could have played a couple more songs! Adelita's Way were great.They sounded super! Volbeat,a new comer, was awesome. The lead singer was great with the crowd. Hellyeah is not one of my personal favorites,but the crowd liked them and their set was relatively short. Chevelle rocked the Arena.They sounded great,played songs from new CD as well as older stuff. Five Finger Death Punch was awesome!!! Not really one of my favorites,but they put on a great show and they played to the crowd.They rocked!!! Shinedown was amazing! They squeezed in as many of their hits as possible The crowd was into it,and no one left until the lights came up after the final song. It was truly an amazing day!!!!

At the beginning of the show the sound sucked so bad, it was pathetic, but as the shows progressed the sound quality got better and better, then by the end the sound was spectacular and i will never forget shinedowns preformance!!

I was happy to see that this show was put on at the Verizon center. What a great venue for any show. Every band was very enjoyable.

Every band was amazing. So much fun!! The weather was great, the bands sounded great, loved every moment!

This show rocked!! I have always been a country music fan. I bought these tickets for my husband's birthday because he loves most of the bands that were there. His favorite is Five Finger Death Punch! They made me a fan that night! They were the best out of all of them! I now want to go to this show every year!! Best concert I've ever been to!!

music was great and the concessions, while expensive, were perfectly acceptable. started in the middle of the pack and ended up on the rail by shinedown

Although we were late getting there, from Wetumpka, AL, & I didn't get to see the band I really was going to see, Adelita's Way, the bands we did see were AWESOME!! First time attending the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre and must say VERY IMPRESSED! The "pit" area was incredible....loved the amount of space available!! All venues should provide this much area. Didn't get to go to the lawn area but from the amount of rockers there indicated it must be great too. The cleanliness and upkeep of the venue throughout the concert proofed to be exceptionable. As for the performers having them all on one stage was another commendable concept to the "PARTY" experience....CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR'S CINCO PARTY!!! And to top everything off Shinedown was OUTSTANDING!! They have definitely stepped up and become one of the major bands I will continue to go to see...only saw them once several years ago in Birminham and from then till now THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!! Thank you Project for the Party and keep the greatness coming....can't rely on AL for this kind of event.

We really enjoyed the Cinco Party Concert. The Cabo tequila girls could have been more sociable, but the tequila was good. We liked getting our pictures taken for free on the side of the concert. Visiting all the booths and stuff during the pre-game was a lot of fun. One thing that should have been changed that was very obvious is that FFDP should have been the main act. This was our second year attending the Cinco Concert and if they keep getting great bands we will continue to attend!

don't get me wrong .. I appreciate Project 961 and there yearly Cinco party and will continue to return each year because the bands are AWESOME! I even understand that the Verizon Amphitheater is a relatively "new" venue in Atlanta and bands want to play there.. but the sound at this venue is HORRIBLE.. and not just this show I have been there on at least 7 occasions and it never sounds good. I know this isn't the bands playing because I have heard them at other venues and they sound much much better...

PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR ..NEXT TIME HAVE A HEADLINER THAT PERFORMS LIVE AND NOT USING VOX FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW..WE LEFT AFTER 4 SONGS FROM SHINEDOWN..EVERYONE ELSE ON THE BILL ROCKED

Had a great time other than it was too hot and the beer and food was over priced! The show was great except a little too soft with some of the groups. See ya next year!

This was my second Project 9-6-1 Cinco Party, and I am definitely a fan!!! What an awesome show! The Project really knows how to pick a killer line-up. I will be back next year for sure. Chevelle and Volbeat rocked!!!

This was, by far, the best show that I've been to in over ten years. The staff was fantastic and the bands... Volbeat was the best followed by a close second by Five Finger Death Punch. The atmosphere was great, and only a few injuries that I saw from the pits. Nothing too dramatic or bad went down. All in all - it was a great experience and I can't wait for next year's show!!

The concert was put on well, the venue, the way everything was handled was good. It was mostly all radio rock type bands, so it was pretty lame to me. But I knew that before I went. The only band I was interested in was Volbeat and they were great. Too bad the brain dead crowd didn't know them...

I was unimpressed at this years Cinco Party. I saw the one last year and it was much better!! Some of the bands were really good, but overall I was unimpressed. Hopefully next year will be better.

This is my second cinco party concert and will deffinatly not be my last the show was great the staff was even better. I will deffinatly be there next year.

This was a show my boyfriend asked to go to so I bought tix during Project fan pre-sale~~Soooooo glad I went with him!! I knew the line up and knew it would be good, but in reality, this show was AMAZING!! More attention could've been paid to who the local band spot was given to~~The Beatoffs were.......not great and we have a ton of Great local talent! But all in all~~this show/line up didn't disappoint!! Great bands! Great venue! Great sponsors! Would definetly go again!

Got engaged in Vegas last October during Five Finger Death Punch set. Love seeing these guys play. Volbeat was a nice surprise. They have a great sound.

I love the venue. The show was amazing. Shinedown was the best but all the bands were awesome.
